I loved you
You loved me too
The light is gone, believe me
The break is never easy
You had my heart
I had yours too
My fight's withdrawn, believe me
The break is never easy

Josephine was sitting on her couch on her day off, flipping through the channels when a knock on her door startled her. Jumping to her feet, she checked the side window near the door to see Chibs and Jax. Her stomach dropped as she opened the door and took in their faces.

"Is Juice ok?" she asked, choking on her words.

"Can we come in and talk?" Jax asked, a grim look on his face. Josephine nodded, stepping aside to let them in. Shutting the door, she followed them into the living room, sinking back down onto the couch. Jax sat on the opposite end as her, Chibs standing beside him.

"Its Juice, isn't it?" she asked. Jax glanced at Chibs before reaching into his kutte and pulling out a photo and holding it out to Josephine. She took it nervously, glancing at it. It was a picture of her and Samuel talking at the nurses' station.

"What's this?" she asked, glancing between the two men.

"Why is a Federal Agent in town seen hanging out with you?" Jax asked as he leaned back on the couch.

"That's just my friend Sam from college," she sighed, placing the picture on the coffee table, "What's the big deal?"

"Juice didn't seem to know he was a federal agent."

"Never got brought up in conversation," Josephine retorted, her eyes narrowing. "You boys are really here to harass me because of someone I went to school with?"

"Lass, we know he's been here," Chibs chimed in, causing Josephine to look away from Jax finally.

"And? He's a friend, he came and hung out a few times. I'm not cheating on Juice."

"Never said ya were sweetheart," Jax responded causing Josephine to roll her eyes.

"Enough with the sweetheart. What's the problem?"

"How do we know you're not telling him insight on the club," Jax shrugged. Immediately, both men could see the fire in Josephine's eyes as she jumped to her feet.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" she snapped. "I know nothing about the club because I choose to know nothing! Both of you can leave if you're going to sit here accusing me of shit!" After a moment of silence, the men glanced between themselves before Jax got to his feet.

"Well if I were you, I'd not hang out with a fed. Gonna make other people think you're a rat," Jax said as he walked towards the door.

"Maybe the club should learn to mind it's own damn fucking business. What I do on my time is my business. Trust me, I could fucking care less about what the club does," Josephine seethed as the men walked out the door, shutting it behind them.

"Well that didn't go well, Jackie boy," Chibs sighed as they headed to their bikes.

"Keep an eye on her Chibs. We need to have an idea of what's going on before bringing this to the table," Jax said as he climbed onto his bike.

Meanwhile at the club, Juice was sitting at the bar on his laptop with his notebook beside it, taking notes as he went.

"What's that?" The soft voice caused Juice's head to snap up, to see Melissa standing there holding out a beer to him. Juice quirked an eyebrow, "It's not even noon."

"Ya look like you need it. Rough night?" Melissa asked as Juice took the beer and took a swig. He offered up a shrug as an answer as Melissa glanced at his notebook.

"Timeline?" she asked. Juice sighed before glancing around the club.

"Yeah," he muttered, his eyes dropping back to his computer.

"Your old lady's timeline?" The interruption caused him to close the notebook and glance up at Melissa.

"Not really any of your business, is it?" he asked, trying to sound playful but failing miserably. Melissa took the hint, offering him a small smile before turning back to her bartending duties. Just then Juice's phone vibrated. Glancing down at it, he noticed Josephine had texted him once again. Opening his phone, he sighed. I can't keep ignoring her, he thought to himself as he opened the text.

Tell your club to leave me alone. We're done.

"The fuck…" he muttered to himself as he quickly dialed her number before pressing the phone to his ear. After two rings, the line picked up.

"Jo?"

"OH so now you answer your phone?"

"Jo, what the hell is going on?" he asked, nervously tapping his hand on the beer infront of him.

"Can't answer your phone. But you can have the club follow me. And then sending Jax and Chibs to my house? Fuck this Juice, we're done. I'll leave your shit packed on the porch."

"Jo, what are you talking about? What do you mean Chibs and Jax came by?"

"They came by to question why one of my friends has been seen with me. Just because he's a fed, they think I'm ratting on the club. I never signed up for this shit. I'm done."

"Jo, I never sent them-"

"I really don't care Juice. We're done. I have enough on my plate without the stupid childish club drama. I'm not getting involved. I'm done." And with that, the line went dead.

A/n: Sorry for the delayed update. Nursing school this semester has been absolutely overwhelming. Short chapter but I promise its going to get good!
