To make this more fun to you the reader, I suggest putting on the theme from Video Game Confessions ( /watch?v=tCrrZ1NnCuM )

"This is Ryo Nazo Blackthorn, a Time Patroller and younger brother to Joshinari Blackthorn. Ryo works in the seven-star restaurant known as the Tori Dragon Palace (which is two blocks away from the Pixel Palace). Now it has expanded where all across the media, all around the multiverse, many pop in to have a drink. Sometimes, they share stories, and even secrets. Because—as we all know—what the bartender hears is confidential... isn't it?"

Episode 3 – Ash Ketchum (Once Again)

So here I was tending the bar, when in walks one of our VIPs, Ash Ketchum. Now yes, I did see how the Pokemon anime decided to end…and well…not many were happy. Ash especially considering how utterly burned out he looked. He already looked like he had already started drinking elsewhere before coming here. I get a bottle of whiskey to pour out a drink, but he stops me leaving me to leave the bottle.

"Just leave it…" He said.

I excuse myself and check up on my junior bartender, Dawn. Now Dawn was watching and shook her head.

"It's really sad to see him like this. He thought he was out, but only to be shoved into standby on an endless off-screen loop." Dawn told him.

Ash would drink straight from the bottle, chugging the entire thing. Then Pikachu came into the bar and he was pissed. Though I was very surprised to hear that Pikachu was pissed out of a place of worry, citing Ash has been drinking too much.

"It's not-a problem. I can quit whenever I feel like it." Ash said.

He was clearly well past hammered and then he called for another bottle. Pikachu was basically begging Ash to cut back on the drinking.

"Why? So I can be like you, always so out of it with that 'weed ketchup' you like to stuff your face with?" Ash said as he drank.

Damn! I didn't think Pikachu was a pothead. Props to the Pokemon, he's at least in better control in comparison. Of course, Pikachu argued it was to keep him regular…and that Ash was overdoing it. He even offered to have the drinks covered if Ash just ended the drinking early, and Ash agreed. Pikachu paid for the bottles and they left. It's kinda sad to see Ash look so utterly defeated. Dawn ended up taking the rest of the night off…leaving my wife to take over. I don't even have an interest in seeing the new show anyway…not because of the new cast, but because I'm just burned out from the anime in the general. Plus, any interest died upon seeing it wasn't a reboot, but taking place in the same continuity. The same unchanging, inconsistent continuity. I'll just stick to the fan stuff, the games, and the manga…but maybe those working on the games need a break too.

You see a lot of strange things as a bartender, see a lot of strange things at the Tori Dragon. So, I see a lot of strange things as a bartender at the Tori Dragon, and that isn't no lie. Swear to it!

(A/N: This was short on purpose to make a bit more effective at my disappointment with the decisions the Pokemon Company has made as of late. They really need to take a break and recharge their creative juices as they are clearly overworking themselves.)
