Summary:

Secret genius Kagome Higurashi goes back and forth form the modern day world and 500 years in the past to piece together an ancient jewel that was torn from her side, and that she accidentally shattered, with her best friend/ brother figure Inuyasha. When fighting against their enemy Naraku, Kagome gets sucked out into one of his traps. This one in particular ended up take her straight to Hell. The only thought Kagome can form is 'What The Hell Else Could Go Wrong?!?'

Chapter 24

Kagome's POV:

I was so mad I was in tears. My youki was fluctuating so much that I could feel Sesshomaru's youki on the edges. I was sure he would have Shippo call me soon. I felt arms pull me into a hard chest and was surrounded with the scent that was distinctly my father's. I returned the hug, crying my anger into his shirt while he whispered reassurances in my ear.

When I calmed down he stepped back to look at me, "Better?"

I gave him a small smile right before my phone rang. I grabbed it off my desk and answered, "Hello?" It was quiet but I knew it was Sesshomaru. "I'm okay now. No need to worry."

"But I do, Imouto. Perhaps it's time for a change of scenery." Sesshomaru suggested.

"But I just got the house finished-" I started but he cut me off.

"The house will be taken care of, I will make sure of it, and I will have your precious car flown to you." He knew me far to well. "It's past time for you to get to know your father, so go do so."

"But-" I tried again. He must have been psychic cause as soon as I was about to say something about my father he asked to speak with him. I glared a the phone for a minute before handing it out to my father. "He wants to talk to you."

He looked surprised but took it anyway, "Hello?"

"Kagome has been through quite a lot in the last hand full of years and I believe it is time she had a change of scenery. She isn't trusting of many but I'm sure she will accept staying with you. I am asking you to take her away from all the stress and sadness she is going through." I heard him say clearly with my demonic senses.

"Why Taisho, I didn't know you could say so much at once." He chuckled as Sesshomaru began to growl, "I would love for Kagome to come stay with me but don't you think that should be her choice?"

"Give her back the phone." Sesshomaru ordered. Dad rolled his eyes and handed me the phone. I glared at it for a second then put it to my ear. "You're going!" Sesshomaru said.

"Is that an order then?" I asked.

Sesshomaru was silent for a moment, "If it has to be." Then he hung up.

I huffed and tossed my phone down onto my desk. "Is he always so bossy?" Dad inquired.

"Only when he's awake." I said sarcastically.

Dad chuckled, "Yea but he may not be to far off with this. It might do you some good to get away from all this turmoil. It doesn't have to be forever you know?"

"So like a extended vacation?" I asked.

"Yep! For as long as you want. And you can use my jet if you want or even use Taisho's, if that makes you more comfortable." He was smiling at me like a child about to open all his Christmas gifts.

"Well then, America here I come!"
