Clark's gaze locked onto the four menacing aliens, their sinister grins etching fear into his bones. The fifth alien stirred, slowly regaining consciousness. The main spokesman turned to address the others, his voice low and calculated: "You go for the girl," he instructed, "us three will take him out."

In that tense moment, Clark's superhuman senses kicked in. His vision allowing him to perceive the world in far greater detail than the average human. He tracked their movements, the air rippling around them as they moved at superhuman speed. As the three closed in, he deftly sidestepped, intercepting the one lunging for Bulma. With precision, he dodged the others, his focus unwavering on the alien before him. His shoulder connected, sending shockwaves through the air and propelling the alien right into the path of the staggering alien who had finally managed to get up, resulting in a tangled heap. For now, they were out of action.

Clark couldn't help but wonder if his subconscious mind had orchestrated that timely collision. Perhaps survival instincts ran deeper than he realized. Superhuman senses were indeed a powerful advantage in such life-threatening situation.

Three aliens remained. Clark spun around to face them, spotting a fist hurtling toward his face. Instinctively, he lifted his hands to block, but before he had a chance, a yellow blast erupted from the side of the alien, sending it careening sideways. The other two aliens, who had been directly behind the first, froze in their tracks.

As the dust settled, smoke rose from the now prone alien. A commanding voice cut through the tension: "You need to leave now." Clark and the aliens turned to see Goku standing there, his hair defying gravity in a way that seemed both familiar and utterly bizarre, a yellow glow emanating from him and his golden hair. Clark couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and confusion. The aliens hesitated, their menacing expressions faltering. It was as if they had just realized they were in way over their heads. "You're just an insignificant pest," retorted one of the aliens.

Goku's eyes narrowed. "Your friend may beg to differ," he replied, pointing to the smoking form of another alien on the ground. "He's still alive, now take your friends and leave."

Bulma watched in amazement as the chaotic scene unfolded before her. Everything had happened so fast that it felt like a blur. She could swear that she was about to be attacked by an alien, but then he shot past her, leaving her both bewildered and relieved.

As she continued to watch, the remaining aliens suddenly vanished. In their wake, an otherworldly cacophony of sound echoed through the air, accompanied by bursts of light that painted the sky. It was as if reality itself was warping around them.

Clark, too, stood frozen, unable to tear his eyes away from the spectacle. Goku—was different stronger. Faster. He held his ground against the aliens with a confidence that defied explanation. Clark should have rushed to help, but awe and shock kept him rooted in place.

Then he noticed the two remaining aliens, rising from the ground and taking flight. They closed in on Goku, one of them raising a clenched fist. Clark's mind snapped back into focus. He couldn't let Goku face them alone. With a burst of superhuman speed, he took off, the ground cracking beneath his feet.

Just as the alien's fist was about to connect with Goku, Clark grabbed hold of him. Their combined momentum sent them hurtling away from the battle, leaving a trail of displaced air in their wake. The crowd below watched in shock and awe. They couldn't fully comprehend what was happening, but they hoped their defenders were winning this otherworldly clash.

Goku and the aliens separated, each assessing the other. Goku's smile was both confident and enigmatic. "You have lost," he declared.

"Lost?" the aliens scoffed in unison. "You're dreaming."

Goku maintained his smile, locking eyes with the two remaining aliens. He had sensed Clark take out the one that was about to attack him, but that left one more—charging at him from behind. As the alien closed in, Goku moved with lightning speed, grabbing the alien and redirecting it toward the others. He added momentum to the collision, resulting in the simultaneous takedown of the attacking alien and one of the remaining ones.

"As I was saying," Goku said calmly, "you have lost. Now take your friends and leave."

But the alien wasn't ready to concede defeat. "Not so fast," he retorted. He pressed something near his ear, likely a communication device. "Reinforcements needed now," he announced, a sinister smile playing on his lips. "In five minutes, at least ten more will be here. You won't stand a chance."

Goku frowned. The odds were shifting against them. While he knew he could probably defeat these aliens individually, their sheer numbers posed a threat. And the safety of the people below weighed heavily on his mind. He glanced at Clark, who shared his concern. They couldn't protect everyone against such numbers.

Then it hit him: Bulma. She was the key. Whatever these aliens wanted, they seemed to be after her. Goku's mind raced as he considered their next move.

The countdown began. Five minutes until the reinforcements arrived. Goku squared his shoulders, determination in his eyes. "We'll figure this out," he murmured to Clark.

Bulma's heart raced as she gazed up at the sky. The air crackled with energy, and she instinctively sought out Bruce, but he was nowhere to be seen. Where had he vanished to? Her mind raced, conjuring scenarios of alternate dimensions and hidden portals.

Her attention snapped back to the sky as Goku materialized, his silhouette a blur against the swirling backdrop. Before she could react, she was lifted off the ground, the wind howling around her. Panic surged through her veins until she realized it was Goku's firm grip that held her aloft. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" she screamed, her voice lost in the tempest. She flailed, but the wind carried her protests away, leaving her helpless in Goku's grasp.

Meanwhile, Clark observed from a distance, torn between duty and curiosity. One of the aliens streaked after Goku and Bulma, while the other tended to its injured comrades. He clenched his fists, torn between following Goku and safeguarding the refugees. With resolve, he chose the latter, shielding them until the last alien departed. Eventually the two injured ones limped away, wounded but alive, aided by another, while the last—unscathed—darted off in pursuit of Goku.

Clark was just about to set off after him when a hand was placed on his shoulder. "Don't," came Bruce's voice. "Goku clearly has a plan; he has led them away from here. Now let's get this group moving." Clark desperately wanted to follow and help Goku, but he knew Bruce was right. "Look, we may not have long. Can you use your superspeed to help move some of the refugees?" Clark thought on; tonight was going to be a long night.

Goku finally slowed down and landed after what felt like a good 20 minutes of travel. The wind had oddly died down midway through their journey. Goku explained that he was using his energy to create a barrier, propelling them faster and keeping the aliens at bay. He entrusted Bulma with a message for Clark and Bruce, but she had no idea how to deliver it. As they touched down, Goku instructed her, "Go hide out of sight." Bulma wasted no time and sprinted toward an old, abandoned building—a wooden lodge with only a few rooms. The broken windows and stubborn door added to her anxiety as she forced her way inside, huddling in a corner, fear coursing through her veins.

Outside, the first alien touched down in front of Goku, followed by a second one moments later. "You thought you could save your friend from us," the first alien sneered. "Well, our comrades can track us, and they'll be coming straight here. We'll have her and get the information we need." Goku remained silent, staring at the alien. His energy surged, causing the ground to crack and the wind to whip at the alien's clothing. Then, in an instant, Goku shot forward directly toward the nearest alien, placing two fingers on his forehead. The alien braced for impact, but suddenly Goku vanished, leaving only confusion and shock in his wake.

As Goku reappeared in front of Bulma within the abandoned building, her scream echoed off the decaying walls. The suddenness of his arrival left her trembling, but before she could fully process the situation, he gently placed his hand on her shoulder. The world blurred around them, and they vanished once more, leaving behind only a faint trace of energy.

Bruce was overseeing the camp's preparations. The air crackled with anticipation as everyone worked diligently. Suddenly, a piercing yelp cut through the otherwise serene atmosphere. Bruce spun around to witness Bulma stumbling and falling into the dirt. Her expression held a mix of confusion and annoyance, and she shouted, "Goku!"

As Bulma's eyes fell upon Bruce, her cheeks flushed crimson, embarrassment etched across her features. She stood up, brushing dirt from her clothes, and declared urgently, "We need to move now. Goku has a plan—he'll keep them distracted for a while." Bruce nodded in agreement. "Already on it," he replied. "It seemed like the logical thing to do. Come on, I'll need your help.

Outside the remnants of the abandoned building, frustration etched across their alien features, the two extraterrestrials had blasted their way in, expecting to find the women. Instead, they were met with emptiness—an unexpected twist in their pursuit. What was more infuriating was the persistent man who thwarted their every move. Their reinforcements would arrive any minute now, and the pressure mounted.

Then, as if scripted by fate, a resounding "BOOM!" echoed through the air. The entire building erupted in a burst of yellow energy, enveloping the two aliens. When the dust settled, two unconscious forms lay sprawled on the ground where the building once stood—a testament to the power that had just been unleashed.

Goku descended gracefully, his aura fading as he settled onto the ground. Reverting to his base form, he sat there, waiting—patient yet vigilant—for the so-called reinforcements to arrive.

Goku's keen senses analyzed the situation. These aliens, akin to Clark in their remarkable abilities, possessed incredible powers. Yet, their stamina and ultimate strength appeared lacking. He pondered their strengths and vulnerabilities, knowing time was scarce. Ten formidable foes hovered high above, one among them exuding an even greater aura.

Rather than craning his neck to look up, Goku closed his eyes, attuning himself to the energy signatures. Anger emanated from the strongest alien—the one who had likely detected their comrades' absence. Goku remained motionless, patience his ally. Time flowed around him, and he waited, unwavering, for the impending confrontation.

As the two aliens floated to their fallen comrades, lifting them with grim determination, Goku took stock of the situation. Only eight adversaries remained—manageable, he thought. His energy reserves still hummed with untapped power; he hadn't yet unleashed his full Super Saiyan 2 form. The remaining aliens descended, encircling him on all sides. With a focused gaze, Goku opened his eyes, ascended from the ground, and landed gracefully on his feet. He positioned himself deliberately, ensuring he faced the strongest among them.

Goku's calm demeanor contrasted sharply with the tension in the air. "Hi, I'm Goku," he greeted, his voice steady. "You really should leave and check on your comrades." The alien scoffed, dismissing them as mere foot soldiers. "Impressive that you defeated them," he conceded. "But we aren't leaving. Now, where is your female companion?"

"You'll never find her," Goku retorted, determination in his eyes.

"Really?" His gaze narrowed. He gestured to his underlings, who scattered in different directions, scouring the area for Bulma.

Goku couldn't resist a taunt. "So what do I call you? 'Angry alien' doesn't quite have the same ring." The aliens response was chilling: "I am Lord Zod, and you haven't seen angry yet."

Before Goku could react, the imposing figure of Lord Zod issued a chilling command to the remaining three aliens: "Take him.

Goku's instincts kicked in, and he transformed into his Super Saiyan form. The golden aura enveloped him, and he felt the surge of power coursing through his veins. Although time constraints prevented him from reaching Super Saiyan 2, he was relieved to have this level of strength at his disposal.

The three aliens charged, their fists a blur of motion. Goku's reflexes were pushed to the limit as he danced through their attacks. Their speed was astonishing, demanding every ounce of his effort to stay out of their reach. He knew he couldn't maintain this defensive dance for long without pushing further.

But then, something changed. A subtle drop in the aliens' velocity caught Goku's attention. Seizing the opportunity, he released a burst of energy, creating a shockwave that sent all three opponents hurtling backward. Their surprised expressions mirrored their sudden loss of momentum.

Lord Zod, however, remained unmoved. His eyes bore into Goku, assessing him with a sinister grin. "I can see why the others struggled against you," he remarked, his voice dripping with menace.

Goku's smile widened as he initiated his transformation, the energy surging within him. Shockwaves rippled through the air, distorting the landscape around him.

As the transformation reached its peak, the other three aliens regained their composure. They closed in, encircling Goku like hungry predators. His muscles tensed, ready for the next round. The tension thickened, a palpable force in the charged atmosphere.

But then, the sun burst free from its cloudy prison. Its rays cascaded down, illuminating the battlefield. In that moment, Goku felt a surge of power from the aliens and then they charged. This time there speed was incredible and after a few blocks Goku's defences failed, he took several hits, before been sent flying in to the ground.

The refugee camp was in motion, its inhabitants—elderly and infirm—being transported by Clark. His body strained, having just returned from yet another trip. As he caught his breath, Bulma's concerned voice cut through the fatigue: "You don't look so good." Clark managed a half-smile, but before he could respond, Bruce's annoyed tone interrupted. "Clark," Bruce scowled, "you've been here for years. Don't tell me you've forgotten how your powers work?" Clark's retort was swift: "Of course not!" Bruce's disbelief lingered as he continued, "Well, why are you just standing here? Go fly above the clouds and absorb the sunlight!" Clark mentally berated himself—how could he have overlooked such a simple solution? With renewed determination, he shot up into the sky, seeking the rejuvenating rays of the sun.

Goku lay there in the dust, the punches stinging, yet he'd endured worse. Allowing the blows to connect was a strategic move—it bought him precious time. As he lay there, thoughts raced through his mind. His opponents possessed greater power, unmatched speed, and superior strength, but the question gnawed at him: why?

The refugees desperately needed more time, and Goku hesitated to unleash his full power. He craved a challenge; going all out would be far too straightforward. With two fingers pressed to his temple, he mused, I seem to be relying on this technique quite frequently, just before vanishing into thin air.

Goku materialized once more, right beside Bulma. Unfortunately, this time she was walking directly toward him, and before he could react, she tripped and landed squarely on top of him. The all-too-familiar cry reached his ears: "Goku!"

After getting up and reverting to his normal form, Goku joined Bulma and Bruce as they walked with the group. He filled them in on the situation—the plan to let the aliens search for a while. In the back of his mind, he still sensed Zod's presence, maintaining a mental lock on him. Goku wouldn't allow them to return here until all the refugees were safely away.

Suddenly, Clark descended from the sky, his power radiating at an intensity Goku had never felt before. No pleasantries—Goku cut straight to the point: "How did you get so strong?" The excitement in his voice clear.

Goku's mind registered the surge in the aliens' power. His excitement bubbled over, and he jumped around like a restless kid who'd just solved a puzzle. "Those aliens I was fighting," he blurted out, "the sun came out, and their power increased—just like yours!"

Clark, Bulma, and Bruce exchanged glances, realization dawning. Clark, usually unflappable, was left speechless.

Goku, oblivious to the gravity of the situation, looked at them quizzically. "What?" he asked. "It's awesome! They could potentially be a challenge. So exciting!"

Bruce's words hung in the air: "Goku, do you really not see it? These aliens are probably from the same..." But Goku didn't have time to wait to hear the rest, Zod was on the move. He pressed his fingers to his temple and vanished, leaving Bruce and the others behind.

Reappearing behind Zod, Goku wasted no time. A focused ki blast shot into Zod's back, the impact propelling him several meters forward.

Before Zod could react, Goku transformed, ascending to Super Saiyan 2. The surge of power coursed through him, electrifying the air. But he wasn't done yet, he had an idea. With time to spare, Goku expanded his senses, seeking out clusters of alien presence. His instincts honed in, and he thought, *There.*

Just then, Zod struck, sending Goku hurtling toward the ground. The impact reverberated through his body.

The impact reverberated through the ground, sending tremors and ripples of pain through Goku's body. He ignored Piccolo's familiar voice lecturing him about keeping his guard up—details he chose to omit for now.

As the dust settled, Goku stood up, eyes locked on Zod. Without hesitation, he took off in the direction of the aliens. Zod and the others followed suit, taking flight. Goku's curiosity burned—he wanted to gauge their abilities firsthand. The other aliens quickly fell behind, struggling to keep pace, but Zod matched him stride for stride. Goku pushed himself, increasing his speed until he brushed against the limits of his current form. Finally, the gap between them widened. Soon, Goku would reach the alien base, and the real challenge would begin.
