34. The Avengers Part 11

Loki's POV

Every part of me hurt worse then any injury I had ever experienced. A small groan escaped my lips as I tried to right myself. The sensation of Kagome in my lap was gone and I came to the conclusion that her fears had been realized. Just as the thought fully formed, I could feel that the pain was so intense because it was not just my pain but hers as well. I bolted up into a sitting position to scan the room for her. Kagome, No My Kagome was in pain.

She was laying in Stark's lap, her face scrunched up in agony. With a snap of my fringers, my new Father-in-law and I switched places. I caressed her face as she started to stir. When her eyes first opened they a deep ruby red, then she slowly blinked and they were back to their sapphire blue. My new bride had secrets. That was quite alright. We had centuries to learn every bit of the other.

Kagome's POV

Third time was definitely not the charm in this case. First the witch, then So'unga and now this. I'm getting real tired of my soul being ripped open. I could already feel Loki in every facet of my being. I heard my father murmuring to me but I couldn't understand him, then the arms I was in changed instantaneously and I knew I was in my mate's arms. My dragon blood was in overdrive healing all the pain away. I opened my eyes to look up at my new husband, and by the slight widening of his eyes, I knew my eyes must be red like So'unga's. I closed my eyes and forced the dragon within me to calm. I opened my sapphire blues to look up into the deepest emerald eyes I had ever seen. They looked at me as if I were the center of the universe. I had the fleeting desire to bask in them forever. I say fleeting because that was when my father made himself known to me once again.

I had a hard time figure out where my writing tablet ran off to but found it recently. I have a hand full of chapters to update you with but I'm having to retype them all out on my phone cause my tablet is having connectivity issues, so it is gonna take me a few days to get them all out. Refinding this story has lit my muse up, so I'm hoping to finish it soon. I'm just gonna wrap up the avengers movie and move it to complete. If I decide to write more of the story, it will be in a sequel.
