Kagome's POV

"Kagome" my father called out. He looked so scared and confused that I could barely look him in the eyes.

"I'm sorry Daddy." I got out as quickly as I could. I looked down at my fingers as I threaded them together. Then a blinding light appeared and out of the light stepped an absolutely livid Sesshomaru. I rushed to stand in front of him, "I'm okay Aniki!!" I had to calm him down before he sought after blood. He snatched me to his chest and buried his nose in my hair. I hugged him closely, "I'm okay, I promise, Aniki!!"

Loki's POV

This ethereal being had a human appearance, but he was definitely not. He growled low in his throat as he held my new wife as close as possible. The fact that she kept calling him brother was the only thing holding me back from snatching her out of his arms. He let out a few high pitched yips that the Allspeak was able to translate, but my wife seemed to understand just fine, "What happened??"

Kagome stepped out of his arms, wringing her hands, "It was a misunderstanding..."

"The hell it was!!" A red-headed male interjected, "I told him to wait!! I told him that there was magic in the air and that we shouldn't touch you until we were sure that it was safe, but he snatched you up anyway!!" Her brother let out another growl so loudly that the building shook.
