Tony's POV

It had been a long time since I had been subjected to the signature Stark eyebrow and to receive it from my daughter was a bit startling. I was beyond words when she walked away with her new husband in tow. How exactly was I supposed to just accept that as a fact? "Ignore it for now. Focus on the battle at hand." Taisho said from the balcony.

I walked towards him, away from the noise of Romanov handling the evacuations, "You say that like it's easy!"

"It is what has kept from killing you...yet!" He said with a growl to his voice.

"If I had known..." I tried to explain but he cut me off with another growl.

"You were warned, but you ignored it for your own selfishness. Humans!! You are all impulsive little children!!" Taisho began to rage.

"Uncle! Mother would not like such tensions before battle." Shippo tried to calm him. Taisho Hn'ed and stared out over the city once more. Shippo then turned to me, "I am sure that you think you are helping, but you're not. So stop! You and your companion need to focus on evacuations. You have done enough! Kagome isn't a little girl!"

"That I am not!" Kagome was like a completely different person when she came back out. She looked like an ancient warrior princess. Her kimono started out as the deepest sapphire and faded into the darkest of blacks. It made her eyes shine like bright gems. My daughter was truly gorgeous!

"No, she is a goddess amomgest insects." Loki said from behind her. Kagome blushed a bit at that. Perhaps Shippo had been right on the helo-carrier, she does seem to have a thing for him. And by the looks Loki has been giving her, plus the way he speaks of her and to her, he is more then a little infatuated with her.

Kagome walked behind Taisho and gave him a bow I had only seen in movies, like a knight bowing before a king. " Your orders, My Emperor!"

Taisho turned to face her, but he looked inhuman now. His hair was an ethereal silver color that stylists would kill to perfect. His skin was so pale, it was almost sheet white. His face held markings I had never seen before; two stripes on each cheek and a crescent moon on his brow that matched the sapphire that dangled at Kagome's brow. "My princess. My sister. We shall teach these cleansers what the word annihilation truly means."

"As you wish." Kagome stood up, walked outside to the very edge of the balcony and jumped. My heart nearly left my chest right before a giant dragon appeared with Kagome riding the back of it.

I think it may have scared Loki a little bit too because he was at the edge of the balcony now, "Beloved, a warning next time please!" Kagome giggled and extended her arm out in invitation for him to join her. Loki was at her back in less then a second, then Kagome looked up and the sky broke open.

When the first wave came through, Kagome thrust her hand out toward them and boomed out, "DRAGON TWISTER!!" A tornado formed in front of her and engulfed the enemy. They were all covered in blood , but did not seem any worse for wear. They all landed and then faced up. Kagome continued to look towards the whole. We watched as another horde of aliens came through. Kagome let them pass by her, without even a glance away for the tear, to land in the crowd she hit. As the second horde landed, the first horde attacked them viscously. One would fall dead, then raise up to begin attacking the next one. I looked back at Kagome to see her attention had never wavered. Her only focus on the tear in the sky.
