Todd was driving back from Frankie's when he saw emergency vehicles. He didn't think much of it, till he saw Bruce's wrecked Porsche. Worried, he pulls to a random parking spot. He looked around to see if Bruce was okay.

Bruce was sitting on the ambulance's steps. He declined going to the hospital, he said it was just a minor fender bender. He winced when the paramedic padded rubbing alcohol on his bleeding head.

"Aghh! Watch it there!" That hurt even worse than the crash.

"Sorry Bruce." Tom McKay apologized.

"It's fine." He looked over at his car. Ouch. He was incredibly lucky to be alive. His front was totaled. His license plate, '1Bruce1' was laying beside it. "Good thing I have insurance." He was just glad Lila wasn't with him, he wouldn't know what to do if he lost her as well. He was still depressed about losing his parents.

"Bruce!" Bruce looked up to see Todd calling his name. He waved.

"I'm fine. Thanks McKay."

"No problem. Patman. Please get the head checked. I been a paramedic for years, I know what a concussion looks like." Tom been a Sweet Valley paramedic since he graduated from Orange County College. He was there when the Patman family got in that accident. He was the one that gave Marie and Henry CPR. Sadly, neither made it. He was just glad Reggie survived, his body had to be taken out with the Jaws of Life.

"Yeah. I will." He dismisses Tom. He was surprised to see Todd pull him in a hug. They knew each other, but weren't close. But Bruce hugs him back. He didn't care what others thought.

"Bruce! What happened?" Todd was looking at him with worry.

"I was on the way to pick up Lila, then my phone rang." He was kicking at himself from his stupidity. He saw Todd giving him that look. "Yeah. I know. I had my share of tickets."

Todd shook his head.

"Look, this is California. Everyone does it." Bruce knew that was an excuse. He knew Lila was going to kill him.

"Bruce, are you sure you don't need a ambulance?" He saw Tom getting into the driver's seat to drive away.

"I'll go to the hospital later."

"Fine. I'm driving." Todd saw Bruce's eyes. No way was he okay. He knew Bruce was going to be even in more trouble, especially with his lawsuit. He watched as a policeman comes over. "Bruce. Don't say anything to the cops. Speak to your lawyer first. I'll be right over here." Todd walks over to the side. He looked over at Bruce's car. Damn! Bruce had that car since high school. 'R.I.P. 1Bruce1.' Todd thought. No mechanic could salvage that. That car was history. After what seemed like forever, Todd walks up to Bruce. "Well?"

"I decided to take you up on your offer." Bruce knew he was in deep shit. He told the cop that he wanted to speak to his lawyer, and made an excuse that he needed to go see a doctor. When he felt his vision getting dark, he felt Todd's arms holding him up.

"Okay that's it. Bruce, listen to the professionals. You are not superman." He walks Bruce to his car. It was his mom's, but Todd was allowed to drive it. She knew how much Todd needed wheels.

Tom watches as Todd takes Bruce away. He was glad Bruce was listening to Todd at least. That concussion was bad. Tom was about to drive away when he heard there was a fire.

"I need an ambulance to 3346 Sweet Valley Hills, two females, deceased, fire in progress."

Tom's blood got cold. That was Fowler Manor. Uh oh. He talks to dispatch.

"This is Number 56, we are on our way." Not again. He prayed Lila was alright. He turns on his siren and drives as fast as he can to Fowler Manor.
