Nick was staying in his hotel room when he got a email.

You want info? I gotcha.

Nick immediately leaves his hotel room. He was close to finding the captain of the boat.

"This is Neil Freemount! Reporting live outside of Sweet Valley's Courthouse where Nelson Karl is facing charges of drug trafficking, money laundering, and attempted murder."

Jessica and Elizabeth were glued to their tablets. Thankfully their scenes weren't up yet, they were watching the news live on their tablets.

"Where's Lila?" Last they heard from Lila, she said she was taking a few days to go to a spa in Malibu. As for Cara, she said she was feeling spooked about being in Sweet Valley and went to stay with a cousin in her old town in El Carro.

"Probably with her parents." Jessica whispered back. Both Lila and Cara were in hiding. Lila emailed Jessica that she was feeling stressed about her baby and needed some rest. But since they talked to Bruce and Todd at the hospital, they all knew it was about the trail that was about to take place. Mr and Mrs Fowler after the fire immediately left town, but not before Mr Fowler made financial arrangements for the deaths of their two maids. Poor women were caught off guard when the electrical wiring went off and neither had time to escape. Now the Fowlers were facing a civil suit as well, just like the Patmans.

"And cut! Twins! Take your places!" The director called.

Both Jessica and Elizabeth get up. It was bittersweet. Elizabeth was almost done her contract. Her character gets attacked by Britney's obsessed former classmate and gets disfigured. Elizabeth final scenes were next week. The new actress starts her scenes next month. Until then, Jessica was playing the flashbacks for Victoria since the producers didn't need Elizabeth anymore.

"Ready Liz?" Jessica, she loved working with Elizabeth. She was going to miss her. It was like the Sweet Valley Cheer Offs back in junior year at SVH. Both twins considered it one of their best memories in high school.

"Lets do this." As much as Elizabeth loved her time in the show, acting wasn't for her. Writing was her passion. She was currently writing a short story about her experiences in London.

"Ladies and gentlemen please rise!" Everyone in the courtroom stood up. "Presenting the Honorable Judge Simmons!"

Steven was nervous. This was his first full case. He peeked over at the defense side of Nelson Karl. His attorney, Lacey Frells was arguing with the defense about her client's innocence. Nelson Karl, he was staring straight ahead with a blank expression.

The courtroom was full. Due to the publicity of the case, no reporters were allowed inside. Already Steven could hear the shouts of the people outside, screaming that Karl needed to face justice. Many of the people outside were parents or former drug addicts. Most who have lost children and loved ones from drugs.

Steven remembered Jessica's unwitting involvement when she accidentally walked in a undercover drug sting. Jessica was always high-strung, but she was a stupid idiot for believing in her fantasies. That package of "papers" Nick was supposed to pick up had enough cocaine to overdose all of the freshman and sophomore students at SVU. She was looking at hard time.

Luckily, she managed to get out, but it was close. Who would have guessed after a decade it would lead to this. When the judge made his decision, Steven sat up to listen.

"Okay. I have heard all the arguments. We will meet again tomorrow at ten am. Court adjourned." He slams the gavel.

Steven puts away his papers. He looked at his father Ned.

"Dad, what now?" Steven was too embarrassed to admit he was daydreaming.

"Until the witnesses get here, there is a good chance Karl will walk." Ned said in a grim voice. He knew about Cara and her friends. She was in hiding, as well as Lila.

Steven closed his eyes. Dammit.

Vittore Prison, Italy

"Hey, sveglia! Get up!" The prison guard orders Marco. Marco groans.

"I'm awake Boss!" Marco groans in Italian. "Is it time for lunch?"

"You have a visitor!"

Nick Fox knew this was extremely dangerous. Not only was he putting his life on the line, it was also fatal to his career if anyone found out he was here under false circumstances. He met his contact in Truro in the United Kingdom, the guy made it absolutely clear that his name was not to be mentioned, plus made Nick swear that he never met him. Nick agreed, he had nothing on that guy anyways. What he told Nick, it made Nick's head spin. Until he heard it from Marco, he would take that guy's story with a grain of salt. He was waiting in the visitor's waiting room, he needed to confirm to Marco on what he heard. He saw Marco being let in with by a prison guard. When he saw Nick, he smirked.

"Look who it is, the American Boy Scout." He says in Italian. "You speak the mother tongue?" He mocks in English.

"I speak the language of the law." He says in Italian back. He saw Marco's expression. He spent some time in Italy on a work trip once. His partner Maria was stationed there on a undercover sting for illegal firearms once, and Nick went there to perfect his Italian. He was good, but not as fluent as Maria.

"What do you want with me?" He says in English. "My lawyers are getting me out of here. My father, he won't let me down."

"Marco. Does the name John Marin sound familiar?" He saw Marco's face. His face was sheet white. He quickly composes himself.

"No. Sorry."

"You sure?" He pulls out a picture he carried in his jacket. There was a young Marco with John. They were wearing shorts and holding supersoakers. John Marin was taller, he was a few years older than Marco.

"This is your brother am I right?" He read the story behind John Marin. He was a serial killer back in Sweet Valley. It was Ned Wakefield that put him away, John Marin was looking at life. How he managed to get out of prison, no one understood. He was convicted of first degree murder. He was out of parole before his 29th birthday. When he got out, he started stalking the twins. He almost killed the twins on a boat, luckily it was Ned that managed to save them. His body was never found, and was presumed dead. Now he was alive, his UK contact told Nick he was the captain of that boat.

Marco looked at that picture for a long time. He started shaking his head.

"Half brother. He was immediately disowned by my family once he was convicted. My family wanted nothing to do with him. When he died, we were all relieved." Marco was clearly shaken, he was trembling looking at that picture.

"I heard he was there that night with you. He helped you get those drugs."

"I don't know what you are talking about. Whoever that man was, I never met him."

They were interrupted by a sharply dressed man wearing a Italian suit. Nick knew that was a lawyer. He recognized him as a Karl associate. He silently groaned.

"That's enough Marco." He looked at Nick. "Does your bosses know you're here? This is Italy, not America. The law works differently here. Marco. Not another word. Mr Fox, I already called your bosses. They are furious that you left on your own accord without telling them, or going through the right channels. May I suggest you leave?"

Nick gets up. He knew he was screwed. He broke the rules. He looked at Marco who was staring at the picture.

"Don't let yourself be the lamb. Take care."

Marco never heard anything the lawyer said. He was frozen solid in fear. His brother, he was more monstrous than their father.
