Tom sighed as he taped up the last box. It was over. Isabella, him, their last chapter of their life was closed. As promised, he gave Isabella half of the sale of the house. Isabella, sweet soul that she was protested, she said Tom was the sole owner and tried to return the check. Tom insisted, and told her it was bought jointly. Isabella thanked Tom, and instead of cashing it, wanted to donate it to SVU's drug addiction hotline. She hated drugs, and didn't want others to suffer like she did in college.

Tom had too much stuff he didn't want anymore, like the big furniture, the paintings on the wall, the knickknacks that decorated the house and many other things. Good thing Salvation Army was in speed dial, they were coming to pick up the stuff.

He labelled what he needed and wanted to donate. He didn't need much, just the basics. Picking up his wedding picture, he smiled fondly at it. He and Isabella's wedding in Aspen. God, was she beautiful. Tom never regretted marrying her, but wondered what would happened if she wanted to have that family he always wanted. Pretending to touch her face, he told her a silent goodbye. Putting the frame in the donate pile after he took out the picture, he stood up to finish packing.

He groaned seeing all the things he still had. That pile of boxes he had, barely a dent.

"No wonder Isabella left in a hurry. Can't blame her." Tom ordered a pizza, this was going to be a long night.

Later that night, he and Danny were having beers and chowing down on that pizza Tom ordered a few hours ago.

"You should have called." He said laughing. He knew Tom was stubborn, but even he got overwhelmed and called Danny for help. Good thing Danny was in town for a location shoot. He was talking about the dangers of drug addiction. "There is no way in Hell you can pack this whole house by yourself."

"I know that now." Tom was exhausted. He and Danny were halfway done, they still had to do the basement and second floor. Tom got overwhelmed when he opened the storage room and all of Isabella's and Tom's things fell on top of him. Frustrated, he started yelling and swearing at the top of his lungs. When he heard to the doorbell, he was embarrassed to see the LAPD on the other side doing a wellness check. Guess he swore for a long time, a passing neighbour called police. "I really appreciate it."

"You know I'll always be there. I would have attended your wedding." There was no resentment on Danny's side, he and Isabella dated in college, but after he moved away, he let Isabella go.

"Wedding was beautiful, it was a spontaneous decision. Didn't last anyways, we were fighting after a year." Tom took a sip of his beer.

"Sorry man."

"She and I wanted different things. Oh well, she deserves better." Tom belched. "Want the last pizza?"

"You take it." Danny looked at the lights. "Man college seemed so much easier."

Tom snorted. Danny flinched.

"Sorry man." Freshman year. Then him and Elizabeth's ugly breakup a year later.

"Long time ago." Tom missed his family, he always will. George, he refused to think about his sperm donor. "Elizabeth and I were too different." Tom polishes off the pizza. "C'mon, I have to finish, the new owners are moving in a few days. I still have to clean." Tom refused to leave Winston and his bride with a messy house.

Tom cleaned up the yard and took a long look. He will miss this house, but this chapter of life was over. Isabella already moved on, it was time for his new life to begin. After he tidied up any leftover garbage he had, he went inside.

George sighed as he watched his son entering his home. If only Tom would forgive him so he can die in peace. If not for him, for his two siblings.
