"Agh! Where is my curling iron?!"

"Remember, we have a appointment at Alessandro's? You can do your hair there!"

"What about my makeup? I can't go out with a naked face!"

Cara was at the Wakefield's getting ready for Brooke's hair appointment. Brooke, Jessica, Elizabeth, Billie, Lila, Sonya, and herself were standing in Jessica's former bedroom getting dressed for the wedding. The other girls went home after breakfast, Lila gifted Brooke and everyone there a catered breakfast so no one had to do dishes. Since she was part of the wedding party, all of them were heading to the salon to get their hair done. After that, they were heading back to get dressed and take photos.

"You'll be fine! Besides, the photographer will be here soon, I want everyone to act natural!" Cara could see how nervous Brooke was, she was pale.

"Brooke! It's Winston. Relax! You don't have what he already seen!" Cara joked.

"Yeah, but I'm getting married! My heart feels like it's being beaten out of my chest! God."

"You'll be fine! Remember the Golden Globes when Ethan Hawke was your date? You weren't nervous then!" Jessica remembered how jealous she was, it was during her sophomore year at SVU when she and her sorority sisters saw the awards show. When she saw Brooke holding hands with the huge movie star, she and her sorority sisters commented on how lucky Brooke was. When she emailed Brooke about her relationship with Ethan, Brooke just said she and Ethan were just friends. It was her father that arranged the date, Ethan was the star of the movie he produced, and Brooke agreed to be his date for the night.

"I was barely a blip when I was his date. It's different!" Cara could see how pale she was.

"Relax! You'll be fine." Sonya insisted. "In a few years you'll laugh at how silly you were."

"Yeah, cold feet are normal! When I got married, I felt like jetting back to Spain. Luckily Jessica talked me out of it."

Cara tuned them out. She saw Billie laughing about the memories of her own wedding. Cara was getting dressed, she knew it was pointless to put on her face. Her own wedding day was supposed to be in a few weeks. Letting out a loud sigh, she forced herself to yawn.

"Still tired? Sorry about that." Brooke and everyone else stayed up late gossiping and catching up.

"It's fine. Once you walk down that aisle, we'll be wide awake."

Ding Dong!

"The photographer's here! Act natural!"

After the photographer took some prep shots of the women getting ready to head to the salon, they jump into the van Brooke rented to take the bridal party to Alessandro's.

"Okay! We all have our appointments! Get whatever hairstyle you want, but please no Mohawks!" Brooke laughs.

"I'm sure you'll make your Mohawk look great with your veil." Jessica joked back.

Once they get out of the car, they were greeted by Sophia.

"Hi! Brooke, congrats!" Sophia smiled warmly at her former classmates at SVMS. "Brooke, you are with Alessandro, twins with Xavier and Gina, Cara you are with me." Once everyone settled in their chairs, the beauticians got to work.

"Wow." Cara had no words, she looked amazing.

"What can I say? I'm good." Sophia Rizzo tells her. "When Sarah got married, I did her hair too."

"How is Sarah?" The twins hadn't seen either since sixth grade, when their parents moved to Dallas.

"Still busy, she and Dylan (Tom McKay's older brother) are busy running their company." Sophia and Sarah used to be close, but after they graduated high school, both started to drift apart, especially after Sophia's biological brother got in legal trouble again. Their parent's marriage got strained over the stress, luckily they managed to work things out. "It's not easy running a nanny company." Sarah hated being alone, she still had mild PTSD from the time she was left alone. Thankfully Elizabeth found her when she got in a accident and called 911. Sarah used that incident to open her company. That way no child is ever left behind like she was.

"What about you?" Sophia moved back to Sweet Valley, she wanted to attend beauty school. After she finished, she got a job at one of the most exclusive salons in town. She never married, she preferred being alone. But did live with her older brother and his wife, helping them raise their autistic son.

"I'm doing well, I'm almost done school, after I graduate, I'm opening my business." Sophia dreamed of owning her own salon. She had to get a loan from her stepfather, but she was determined to pay him back. She wasn't spoiled, her mom made sure of that. "Hope you come as a regular customer."

"Whenever I'm in town I will." Jessica promised.

"Same here." Elizabeth's hair was short, but she requested a glamorous finger wave for the wedding.

"There! Cara, what do you think?" Cara smiled. "I love it.'' Her hair had a root touch up, but Sophia took it a step further and gave her a beautiful hairstyle, ala Bette Davis. "Thanks Sophia." She didn't know Sophia, but knew she was friends with Brooke and the twins.

Once they left the salon, and tipped big to everyone there, especially Sophia, they jumped into the rented van.

"We have to get dressed, then we head to the wedding!" Brooke was already wearing her veil, it was a beautiful vintage veil her great-grandmother wore to her wedding. It was long, it matched the dress she bought from New York. Billie was helping her hold it up. "Say bye bye to Brooke Dennis, today I become Mrs Brooke Egbert!"

"Here here!" Everyone starts talking about Brooke's name change, if she was okay losing her family name.

Cara looked out the window. Seeing the ocean going by, she remembered Marco proposing.

"Will you marry me?" Cara remembered crying tears of joy.

"I'm alone now." Marco was dead. Selfish bastard took his own life. Feeling angry, she pushes his memory away. He screwed up, not her. "Goodbye Marco. May you rest in peace." She whispered.

"I'm going to the chapel, and gonna get marrrriiiedd!" Brooke sings.

Cara and everyone laughs and sings along with Brooke. Once they stopped singing, they start gossiping and laughing again.

Cara looked out the window and immediately felt peaceful.

"It's my new start." Cara knew it. She and Marco weren't meant to be, but maybe someday her own prince will come.

"We're here!"

Cara gets out, wearing her bridesmaid dress, she, like all the others had their old school glam dresses. As for Brooke, she was shaking.

"Let's get her married before she passes out!"

Cara laughs with everyone else.

"Let's go inside."

Cara stops outside the church, she felt like she was getting watched.

"Cara! Come on!" Jessica was waiting by the entrance.

'Probably my imagination.'

One of the waiters looks away, keeping a close eye was what they were paid to do.

Cara and everyone walk over to their positions.

Once they here the musicians, they all get ready to walk.

"I'm ready." Brooke was terrified.

Cara waits for her cue, then walks out.

Someday, she'll have her own happy ending.
