"As you can see, our new project is environmentally sound. Unlike other petrol companies, we want to insure that our oceans stay clean and free of spills."

Bruce was watching Reggie giving his pitch to the Japanese investors. Reggie was trying to convince everyone that the new oil rig being built in the Pacific Ocean won't leak, or break any environmental laws.

"That sounds good and all, but Horizon said the same thing. Then that spill happened. How can we be sure we won't lose any money, or insure that our image stays clean." An investor asked.

"I'm glad you asked. Patman Oil is committed to our promises, our great grandparents John and Samantha were always making sure that no promise was ever broken."

Bruce was proud of Reggie, despite being in a chair, he worked his ass off proving that being disabled wouldn't stop him from doing his job. Already he had people calling to work with Reggie instead of Bruce. Once the meeting ended, he waits for Reggie to finish shaking hands and bowing.

"You did well." His slacker cousin was actually pulling things off, he acted like he worked here his entire adult life. "I think we landed that contract."

"I know the ins and out as much as you Cuz." Reggie was happy, he actually got invited for karaoke with the investors. His father would be proud. "You want to join us tonight?"

"I love too, but I can't. Lila and I have a date." Since Fowler Manor was being rebuilt, they were currently staying in Patman Mansion for the next few months along with Lila's parents.

"Tell Lil to take it easy. That is my niece in there." Reggie and Bruce were cousins but considered each other brothers nowadays. He yawned. "Just a reminder I won't be in this afternoon, I have a appointment with my physio." Reggie was looking forward to it, he was taking small steps on the treadmill.

"Soon you'll be catching tens. I'll see you after lunch." Bruce usually ate in his office during lunch, but was meeting with his vice president of his movie company. Bruce was thinking of making a movie about his great grandparents. Once he left his office, he takes the elevator to his favorite spot.

"Two hot dogs, loaded with two Evians."

"Here you go sir. Enjoy."

Bruce thanks the guy and walks the tray over to his waiting partner.

"Here you go." Bruce takes a bite of his dog. "Hot!" He puts it down and opens his water.

"Thanks." Rex takes his hot dog and starts chewing.

"So I was thinking about making a mini series about the Patman Family." Ever since his parents deaths, Bruce wanted to leave a legacy behind. His family had a very interesting life.

"A mini series huh?" Rex nodded.

"Is that so bad?" Bruce was disappointed that he wasn't more excited.

"It's a good idea, but."

"But."

"Will this be enough to draw in a audience? Don't get me wrong!" Seeing Bruce's expression. "The Patmans are one of the richest families of the West Coast. But other than Sweet Valley's citizens, who would be emotionally invested in this serial?"

"What do you mean?" Bruce couldn't help it, he felt slighted.

"I have no doubt that your family helped shape Sweet Valley, but so did many other families." Rex smiled at Bruce. "If I make a suggestion, how about we make the mini series, but instead of a biography, how about a television series based loosely on the families of Sweet Valley. From what I gathered, western is coming back."

"Hmm." Bruce thought about all the popular shows of today. Yellowstone, The Gambler, Outlaw. The genre was popular back in the sixties, then the late nineties, and today. The Patmans had a exciting life, but other than John and Samantha, none of the other Patmans had anything exciting about the Old West. "I heard stories." Jessamyn Johnson was someone the Wakefield twins liked to brag about, she was apparently some kind of horse rider in the circus, as well as a outlaw. Then there was a rumour that Enid's great, great uncle was riding with Billy the Kid back in the day. "That actually has possibilities." Bruce enjoyed making movies, but wanted to expand to television as well. Cable TV was dying, but streaming services were very popular. "We can pitch a idea to either Netflix or Paramount." Bruce finishes his lunch. "I gotta get back to work, meanwhile schedule a meeting next week." Bruce had to dig out the old family album.

"Yes sir."

Once he was back in his office, Bruce started researching old files about the Old West. Who knows, his small movie company can be as big as HBO in the future.

Before Bruce left the office for the day, he made sure arrangements were made for his future in laws. He wanted them out for the evening. Good thing Guidos recently renovated. He and Lila needed to be alone. He just bought a new bed.
