Tom was sitting in an attorney's office, not alone, his estranged biological father was as well.

"I'm glad you came." George tells a stoned-faced Tom

"I'm only doing this for your kids." Tom wanted nothing from George.

"Please, Tom. Don't take your anger out on your brother and sister." He begged.

Tom snorted. When the lawyer walked in, both sat up.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." George's attorney sits down across from them. "I have your paperwork ready to go George. Is this your POA? (Power of Attorney)

"My oldest."

"Only by blood." Tom didn't consider him 'dad.'

"Tom please."

Tom stayed silent.

"You have to excuse us." George apologized. He almost wanted to hold Tom's hand, but didn't.

"I have your assets listed. Your home in Bel-Air, your vacation homes, your bank accounts..."

Tom tuned him out. He was only here to provide a signature. He wanted nothing to do with George's money, George was just a deadbeat. When he heard Elizabeth's name, he sat up.

"Excuse me?" He stared hard at George.

"Anonymously of course. I want her taken care of. Isabella too."

"You're unbelievable." Tom stood up to leave.

"Tom. After this, you don't have to see me ever again. Please." George was holding his arm.

Tom wanted to beat George into a bloody pulp. But looking down, he saw how sad and pathetic he looked. The sickness was showing, George was thinner and more pale.

"Fine." Tom sat down but pushed his chair further away from him

"Please go on." George sighed.

Tom listened as the attorney listed the heirs, other than himself and his siblings, George also had donations made for various charities.

"Is that satisfactory Mr Conroy?"

"Yes, it is." He signed the papers. "Tom?" He was holding his pen.

"Fine." Tom snatched the pen from George's hand before reading the paperwork.

"I divided everything equally, plus back child support for what I owe you and your mother with interest."

Tom's face was blank, but he was surprised at how much he left him. He paused on Elizabeth's name, George left her quite a bit of money.

"Isabella gets the same amount, that way everyone you care about is taken care of."

Danny too? Tom's eyebrows rose. He didn't think George knew about his personal life. Silently he signed the papers.

"Thanks David." George shakes his attorney's hand. Once they shook, George held out his hand.

Tom stared at it. He didn't want anything from him, but knowing he didn't have much time left, he shook it.

"I love you, Tom." Then to Tom's disgust, he hugs Tom.

Ugh. Tom was turned off. But to make him happy, he hugged him back with politeness.

George squeezed Tom as hard as he could.

"My son. All these years we wasted." With those words, Tom pulled away.

"It's getting late." George was unbelievable. He shook the lawyer's hand. "Thanks." He looked at his sperm donor. "Goodbye George." He ignored George calling his name.

Once he left the building, Tom needed a drink. He saw a bar down the street but didn't want George following him. He drove further, not caring what direction he was going, just as long as the old man didn't find him. After a long drive, he found himself outside of Sweet Valley University.

'Wow.' It's been years, but other than a few changes, SVU still looked the same. Instantly Tom was a freshman again, he, his mom, siblings and stepfather were helping him move to his dorm. Feeling his eyes sting, he drove away.

"Mom. Dad." His stepfather was there for his whole life, he loved Tom as his own son. "Damn you George. DAMN YOU!" He screamed. He hated that man with all of his being. Forgetting his desire to drink, instead, he drove back home. He needed a friend. Picking up his cell, he called Danny.

"Hey Tombo." Danny's nickname for Tom back in SVU.

"Danny, are you busy right now?"

"Always. But for you, I can take a break." Tom was so glad Danny lived in LA. "What's up."

"George."

"Say no more. Rhonda and Jayden are not home right now, want to watch the game?"

"I'll bring the wings and beer." Tom didn't care who was playing at the moment.

"See you soon."

Pushing the thoughts of George out of the way, Tom drove towards the nearest supermarket, he needed to pick up chips as well.
