And time to move on to a new arc, dealing with both the aftermath of the Clone Saga and what will come moving forward...!

I present to you: Contest of Chaos!

Aunt May, still shaken by the loss of Uncle Ben a second time, plus Peter's subsequent disappearance, has agreed to move in with Inko, Izuku, and Keemia for the time being, as has Ochako after the loss of her parents, on top of Jessica and Ben Reilly since they have nowhere to go.

However, with F.E.A.S.T. destroyed, many of the former villains, from Twice to Gibbon, are left with nowhere to go, and are hesitant to go onto the streets as they may face discrimination and persecution for their pasts and quirks by the heroes.

So, with reluctance, Inko allows many of them to stay at her home for the time being, at least until they can figure out what to do next.

And so begins: Inko Midoriya's Home for Former Villains and Superpowered Teens!

Soon enough, the likes of Gentle and La Brava, Twice, Gibbon, Hippo, and Panda-Mania are sheltering inside Inko's now crowded home, all of them trying to make due with the same living space and forced to adapt to each other's existence in a continuous cavalcade of humourous escapades, such as Panda-Mania's accidently punching holes in the walls with her superstrength, Gentle singing in the shower very early in the morning, Ochako continuously haggling everyone over how much money they're spending, to Ben Reilly just being Ben Reilly.

(This mini-arc is just meant to provide a bit of a breather from the harrowing events of the Clone Saga for these characters, and give them some room to breath and cope with how the world has changed around them, so forgive me from deviating from the main story for a bit with this little segment.)

However, not all is well in the busy household, as May is beginning to show signs of trauma over Uncle Ben's second death and Peter's sudden disappearance, on top of her kidnapping by Green Goblin into a world unfamiliar to her and Peter's extended period of absence during the time between him being taken from New York and her arrival in this new world.

To add onto that, Ochako is steeped in mourning for her parents' death, and wants to find and bring Tinkerer to justice, but the others sense that it is growing into a need for vengeance. Something that they've seen in Iida before, and are desperate to try and prevent. However, the efforts of her friends come across to her as overbearing and not understanding of the situation, and she shuts herself off.

Worse yet, Izuku is beginning to succumb to his own inner feelings of darkness, fuelled by his inadequacies and lack of self-worth. Losing One for All to Peter has taken a severe toll on what should've been All Might's successor, both physically and mentally. Physically, his body has begun to surrender to muscle atrophy because of the bones that he shattered continuously during his time in U.A.. As it turns out, Recovery Girl's quirk only works skin deep for bone fragmentation, and the deeper fractures in his skeletal structure were only kept from getting worse by One for All. Now, Izuku needs a cane to walk around, and he begins to resent it.

However, his mental state is so much worse. Izuku already had feelings of inadequacy and self-worth issues thanks to growing up quirkless and being bullied for it for most of his life. However, whilst he was in U.A., he would feel indebted to All Might for giving him his quirk, but would begin to also feel feelings of inferiority when compared to Peter Parker, especially when he feels One for All preferring Peter over himself.

And now, with One for All willingly ejecting itself from him to choose Peter as its wielder, Izuku's mental health has only continued to decline, himself slipping more and more into his darker thoughts as his past traumas finally begin to catch up with him and affect his life in small, but equally devastating ways, made even worse by how everyone keeps walking on glass around him and trying to placate him, not really able to understand how he feels despite how much they try.

Worse yet would be the day that Sir Nighteye arrives, having been disgusted at how Izuku, the supposed successor to All Might's legacy, demands One for All from the boy, uncaring as to how he is feeling or what he himself wants. Izuku's friends would be disgusted themselves by Sir Nighteye's attitude, especially when he disregards the opinions of the others, and it is only when All Might arrives personally to order his former sidekick out of the house does Nighteye relent and leave, but not before the two get into an argument and All Might gives him the metaphorical boot.

However, even with All Might and his friends defending him, Nighteye's words cut deep into Izuku, and his hatred for himself and resentment of Peter for taking his quirk away from him and the others for treating him as fragile for it only continues to grow. Not even Ochako's words would be able to help him, as he would misconstrue her bond with Peter and think that the two are dating (which is something that is regularly misunderstood about their relationship, which they are constantly correcting, only those times are usually paid for comedy, and this time is played deadly seriously), making him resent her for seemingly taking Peter's side as well, making him jealous due to his own crush on her.

Meanwhile, the Japanese Diet would declare that it was safe for the License Exams to begin, and Momo and her classmates would be sent off to the training grounds, where they would meet several other students from the other hero schools, who would begin to target the students of U.A., both as part of the typical 'U.A. Crush' and also as a targeted smear campaign against them for their multiple villain attacks and expulsions, specifically Momo for wearing the suit and symbols of Spider-Man-

Much like Asui was, after the events of the fall of the HPSC, who is now beginning to latch onto the rules more and more as a response to them, seeing as how the HPSC had broken the law and had paid the price for it. A form of denial, if you would.

-Momo would find herself under attack from several students, and create a temporary nemesis in a student from Shiketsu by the name of Seji Shishikura, or Sisicross, who would chastise her for wearing the suit of a vigilante and attempt to kick her out of the exams, only for her to eventually overcome him and defeat him, getting him removed from the exams.

During this time, Momo would be stalked by one Camie Utsushimi, and in the second round of the exams, that being the bit where they save all the injured civilains, that being the workers from the Help Us Company. During this time, she would also find a compatriot and friend in a girl from Seiai Academy, one Saiko Intelli, and together the two of them would combine their forces together to create a large operation to save as many of the trapped civilains as they could and get as many of their own to pass over others.

However, during this time, Momo would finally notice Camie stalking her, and would be attacked by the woman, kicking her away and noticing that her quirk allowed her to morph and change her appearance. The woman posing as Camie would escape, having not completed her objective due to Momo's armoured suit, and the exams would end prematurely, with Momo, Saiko, and their friends passing with flying colours.

In the aftermath of the exams, an investigation would be launched into how an unknown woman, now identified as the villain Himiko Toga, or Blood Spider, had been able to kidnap a woman and pose as her without anyone noticing, sneak into a government-protected building filled with young people, and bring a deadly weapon with her and pose a danger to all the students within. The people in charge of the exams would be fired and replaced, and Shiketsu would have much of its staff replaced, and the school itself brought under government control.

Adriana would be placed in command of all these changes and would begin to make plans on how to organise all these disparate elements together.

Meanwhile, Ochako would go out on her own, dressing up in the suit that Black Cat gave her, planning on finding Tinkerer on her own. However, Felicia would end up finding her, and asking what she was about to do. Ochako would make it clear that she's going to hunt Tinkerer down and bring her to justice for what she has done, but Felicia would make it clear that Tinkerer was only interested in revenge. Ochako would snap at her, having heard it all before, and ask what the difference it. Felicia would, instead, regale the story of how one of her ex-girlfriends had wanted revenge for her screwing over her in the past, turning herself into a monstrous creature known as Iron Cat and wasted her life trying to ruin Felicia's. Felicia can see that Ochako is on the way to heading down that same path, and urges her not to give into it.

Ochako tries to disregard Felicia's words, but as she leaves to go off on her own and find Tinkerer, those same words continue to rattle in her ear.
