The Chaldean Trio
March 20th
Medusa flipped the page in her book without muttering a word. The sound of the clock ticking was the only piece of noise that rang inside the library. The Rider finished the pages she was reading and went on to the next. Ever since she arrived, she decided to spend her time in relative peace, with the occasional conversation with either Emiya, Artoria, the two Masters, or Mashu. The Rider flipped the page of her book again to the ticking clock, taking a deep breath to take in the-
"Ah, found the books we were looking for."
Medusa's concentration was broken as soon as she heard Ritsuka's voice around the corner. She looked up and saw him and Tatsuko walk closer to her, not even realizing she was there for a moment until the female Master gasped.
"Oh, hi Medusa." Tatsuko whispered.
"Good afternoon you two."
"We're not disturbing you are we?" Ritsuka asked.
Medusa shook her head. "No, not at all."
The two Masters looked at each other and nodded.
"Do you mind if we sit here as well?" Ritsuka asked quietly.
Medusa nodded. "What are you two going to read, might I ask?"
"I'm just reading a manga series I read a couple of years ago but never got to finishing it." Tatsuko answered.
"As for me, I'm just dusting up on some world history for potential locations of Singularities." Ritsuka replied.
"Oh really?" Medusa asked with a knowing smile. "It seems you and I had the same idea."
Ritsuka smiled. "Well, I guess we can compare notes. Which one are you looking at?"
"Japan, Sengoku Period." Medusa answered. "You?"
"France." Ritsuka answered back. "I don't know why, but I can't help but shake the feeling that the first Singularity we will go to will be in France."
"Perhaps, but it's a good idea to have two people working on it." Medusa replied. "Better yet, have three people reading on it."
Tatsuko shrugged. "I already did that yesterday. Twig boy and I agreed to alternate on who gets to do that every other day."
Medusa looked at the female Master, but Tatsuko couldn't tell what her expression was because of the blindfold.
"Which part of the world did you study then?" Medusa asked.
"America." Tatsuko answered.
Medusa raised her brow. "America?"
"Yep!" Tatsuko answered. "Hey you never know, it could be there."
Ritsuka said nothing as he opened his book. "Well in any case, I think it's for the best that we continue our research, right Medusa?"
The Rider nodded. The three of them sat together and began to read their respective books. After a few minutes of reading, both Ritsuka and Medusa noticed that Tatsuko was constantly shifting from reading her manga, to watching either Ritsuka or Medusa in the midst of their research. The two of them weren't sure what she was wanting, but it was clear that they needed to-
"Anyone want something to eat?" Tatsuko asked. The orange haired girl produced some candy bars from her pockets. "I brought some snacks with me."
"I'm fine, but thanks for asking." Ritsuka answered.
"What about you, Medusa?"
The Rider shook her head. "No need to worry about me. You can have them."
The female Master shrugged and unwrapped the first candy bar before quietly taking a bite. A comfortable silence returned between them for a moment before Ritsuka was reminded of something. He looked at Medusa and narrowed his eyes. The Rider looked up from her book and noticed his gaze.
"Is there something wrong?" Medusa asked.
"No, not really." Ritsuka answered. "But I remember you saying something when you were first summoned. Something about if we require sacrifices and what not."
"Ah, so that's what was bothering you." Medusa replied. "What part of that confused you?"
"Well, why did you think we would require sacrifices, I guess." Ritsuka answered.
Medusa closed her book gently and bridged her hands together. "Because as your Servant, I will do anything that is asked of me."
"Anything?" Tatsuko asked with concern.
"Well, within reason." Medusa answered. "I do have some standards."
"Like what?" Ritsuka asked.
"Well for one, if you asked me to kill infants I would refuse on the spot." Medusa answered.
The two Masters looked at her in disbelief. That was an odd example, but a terrifying one nonetheless.
"Well you don't have to worry about that." Ritsuka replied. "Killing infants is NOT something I'd ever do."
Medusa smiled. "I had a feeling you'd say that."
Ritsuka raised an eyebrow. "Why would you follow any order given to you?"
"Because as your Servant, that is what I'm supposed to do." Medusa answered. "You're my Masters, and therefore I am to do what you ask. Nothing less."
"Yikes Medusa, it sounds like yourself as some sort of tool." Tatsuko replied.
"That is what it means to be a Servant." Medusa answered. "I am nothing more than a-"
"You're wrong."
Medusa and Tatsuko looked at Ritsuka in slight surprise as the black haired teen put his book down and looked at Medusa with a stern gaze.
"You aren't a tool." Ritsuka said. "You're a living being, and you have a life of your own."
Medusa cocked her head to the side. "You DO realize that I'm not really a living, breathing human right?"
"That part doesn't matter." Ritsuka countered. "You're alive now, aren't you?"
Medusa raised her brow again. "Well, technically yes, but-"
"Then you shouldn't consider yourself as a tool." Ritsuka said. "No one should ever think of themselves like that."
Medusa leaned forward and took a deep breath. "Master, allow me to be clear with you, I am a Servant summoned to prevent the destruction of humanity. We aren't humans like you, we're meant to fight and die for our mission. I am nothing but a tool to save humanity, and you should treat me as such."
Ritsuka didn't know what to say, he simply stood silently on the spot while thinking about what Medusa had said. Tatsuko watched them both with uncertainty, she never saw Ritsuka this calm before.
"If that's all, then I will go back to my-."
"If you think of yourself as a tool, then how can you call yourself a person?"
Medusa looked at the male Master in mild surprise as he continued to stare at her. "Because that is what you are to me; a person. You've been given a chance to live here, and I would like to get to know you as a person."
Medusa simply smirked "You're a stubborn one, aren't you?"
"I was told that a couple of times." Ritsuka calmly stated. "But I don't really agree with it."
"Oh, and pray tell why you believe I deserve a chance to live here." Medusa stated.
Ritsuka took a deep breath. "You're not the only one who thought of themselves as….a mere tool or an object."
If Medusa widened her eyes, it was hidden due to the blindfold, but her expression was proof of her surprise.
"I see…..so what I said reminded you of….that place?"
Ritsuka flinched slightly. "Yeah…. You could say that."
Medusa looked at the young teen and saw the discomfort in his eyes. It was clear that she touched a…sensitive topic. Whatever happened to him, it made her even more curious. And yet, she felt somewhat glad that someone actually cared enough to see her as a person for once.
"You are a very strange boy indeed, Ritsuka Fujimaru." She said with a smile. "But thank you."
Ritsuka shook his head. "I don't think I did anything worthy of being thanked."
Medusa chuckled as she sat crossed legged and opened her book. "Humble too. I think I might like you."
Ritsuka gulped, causing Tatsuko to break her silence and chuckle.
"Well well, looks like someone's going to be popular with the ladies." The female Master teased.
Ritsuka said nothing. Instead, he averted his eyes from Medusa, something that both women noticed. Tatsuko looked at Medusa and winced, causing the Rider to look at the female Master in curiosity.
"Did I do something wrong?" Medusa asked.
"No, that's not it…" Tatsuko answered.
"Then what is it?"
Tatsuko got up from her seat and leaned in close to Medusa's ear.
"We can see your panties." She whispered.
The Rider looked down and gasped. A small blush formed upon her face as she straightened out her legs to hide her undergarments.
"Maybe I should get more clothes…" The Rider muttered.
"Yeah, that might be for the best." Tatsuko said quietly. "Okay twig boy, you can look again."
Ritsuka sighed as he opened his book. "Let's just….go back to our books okay?"
Medusa nodded as Tatsuko got back to her chair. They all looked at their books in silence, with the only sound being of the clock ticking behind them.
Kojiro walked through the halls with a serene expression. The Assassin couldn't help but chuckle from the training session he had with Emiya earlier. The two of them decided to have a light spar, which ended up with Kojiro as the victor. The Assassin cricked his neck as he turned the corner towards his room. The moment he turned, the Assassin looked at his door frame and smirked in amusement at what he saw.
While the door itself was completely unchanged, it had a few new decorations. The Assassin rolled his eyes as he saw the torii gate that he once was bound to leading towards the door. Kojiro couldn't help but chuckle at the fact that it was almost an exact replica, only smaller to fit inside the hallway.
"I can't help but feel a certain woman set this up." Kojiro said quietly.
"I see, so Medusa sees herself as a mere tool…"
"Yeah, and Twig Boy here practically stood his ground telling her she was wrong."
"I wasn't standing my ground, I just told her how I felt when I heard her say that."
"Yet you were the one who got her to….hey guys, was that gate always up there?"
The Assassin turned to his left and saw Ritsuka, Tatsuko and Mashu walking towards him with curious expressions. The three teens couldn't help but think how odd it was that such a thing was placed around his door. The Assassin couldn't help but be amused by their gazes.
"Wait a minute, that's from Ryuudou Temple!" Ritsuka exclaimed.
"I had a feeling you would recognize it." Kojiro replied.
"Wait, how do you know it was from there?" Tatsuko asked.
Kojiro chuckled. "I was summoned at the Temple during my Grail War if I heard Emiya correctly."
"So, does this mean you made this replica?" Mashu asked. "If so, I am very impressed. It is very detailed, like an actual torii gate. It must have been a special place for you."
Kojiro shook his head. "No, I didn't make this."
"Oh….I see." Mashu muttered with a crestfallen expression.
"If you didn't, then who did?" Ritsuka asked.
"I believe that Medea is the most likely culprit." Kojiro answered. "Emiya said she was the one who summoned me in that Grail War, and in the process, bound me to the Temple since she used it as her base of operations. And I had to guard the gate."
"Why would she-"
"She remembers one timeline, and we didn't get along." Kojiro answered. "I think this is her way to spite me."
Ritsuka looked at Tatsuko and Mashu with a knowing look. They nodded and turned their attention back to Kojiro.
"Do you want us to talk to her?" Ritsuka asked. "We can have her take it down if you wish."
Kojiro chuckled and shook his head. "I appreciate the offer Ritsuka, but I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?" Tatsuko asked.
"Yes, I'm sure." Kojiro answered. "I'm not even upset that she did this. I find it rather amusing."
Mashu cocked her head to the side. "Amusing?"
"Yes, she tried to insult me by reminding me of what she did, but in the end, all I see is a nice decoration in front of my door."
The trio looked at the Assassin with slight surprise. Kojiro noted this and exhaled. "You need not bother yourself about this. I'm perfectly fine with this arrangement. In fact, I'd actually like to keep it."
"If that's what you want, then we'll respect that." Tatsuko replied.
"Though maybe we should ask her not to do that for everyone else?" Ritsuka asked. "Artoria still seems to have a problem with her, and I'd rather we solve things peacefully."
"Peacefully huh. Well I wish you luck with that." Kojiro replied.
"Luck…" Ritsuka took a deep breath. "I just hope she'll listen. I heard she could be a little…..difficult."
Kojiro smiled. "I might know a few things to help smooth things out."
"Like what?" Tatsuko asked.
"Don't make a deal with her." Kojiro answered.
The trio looked at the Assassin with confusion.
"Then how do we talk to her?" Mashu asked.
"Be sincere with her." Kojiro answered. "She's the type of woman who appreciates honesty, so if you do that, then you have a chance to get through to her."
"That's it?" Tatsuko asked.
"That's it." The Assassin replied. "That and there's a certain title that you should probably not call her."
"I know which one you're talking about…" Ritsuka muttered.
"I see you're aware of it." Kojiro replied.
"Yeah, you could say that." Ritsuka said reluctantly.
"Well how about we just avoid whatever that title is for now?" Tatsuko asked. "It shouldn't be too hard right?"
"Yeah, we just call her Medea and we'll be fine." Ritsuka answered back. "Though we need to find a way to be honest with her about stuff like this, or she might never work with us."
"Don't worry about that partner." Tatsuko replied. "I'm sure we can do something about that."
Ritsuka smiled. "You're right. The three of us are a team, and if we put our minds together, we can figure this out."
"I agree, Senpai." Mashu chimed. "With you two and Kojiro, you will-"
"Mashu, he was referring to you, him and Tatsuko, not me." Kojiro replied.
The Shielder stared at the Assassin in shock. "Really?"
"Yeah, he's right." Ritsuka answered. "We're a team, and you make up part of that three man team."
Mashu stared at the male Master in slight surprise, until a small smile formed upon her lips. "Y-yes, I, Mashu Kryielight will be honored to be part of this team!"
Kojiro chuckled at the lilac haired girl's enthusiasm. "You know, all teams usually have names to go with them, so why not make one?"
"Make a name for ourselves?" Ritsuka asked. "I don't think I'm good enough to be part of something like that."
"Oh come on, lighten up!" Tatsuko exclaimed. "It sounds like fun."
Ritsuka looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Fun?"
"Yeah, we get to have a cool name to go with our group, and it's easy to identify us." Tatsuko answered.
Ritsuka sighed. "I guess it couldn't hurt….."
"That's the spirit!" Tatsuko chimed. "How about you come up with it?"
Ritsuka thought for a few moments. What should they call themselves? It needed to be something simple, yet effective. The male Master smiled and snapped his fingers in an epiphany.
"How about Team Chaldea?"
Mashu smiled, but Kojiro and Tatsuko looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"That's….not what I would have come up with." Kojiro said calmly.
"Yeah, that name doesn't really have any flair to it." Tatsuko chimed. "It seems kind of boring."
"Yeah…I'm not really the best at this, am I…." Ritsuka muttered.
"Don't look so down Senpai." Mashu said with a smile. "I think it was a good name!"
Ritsuka smiled. "Thanks Mashu, but I think we should have a name that everyone can agree on."
"Twig Boy's right. We need something that we can all agree sounds good." Tatsuko replied.
"Then how about you come up with something Tatsuko?" Mashu asked. "I'm sure you'll come up with something great as well."
Tatsuko thought to herself for a moment. They needed something that stood out, yet was also catchy. Something fun and bright would do.
"Oh, I got it!" Tatsuko exclaimed. "How about the Three Amigos!"
Ritsuka, Mashu, Fou and Kojiro looked at the female Master silently. Of all the names to use, it was definitely…..something.
"That's….unique and cheerful." Mashu said. "It definitely sounds nice."
"Wow, was it really that bad?" Tatsuko asked.
"I wouldn't go that far….." Ritsuka muttered. "It's certainly better than what I came up with."
"Perhaps, but it doesn't really suit you three." Kojiro answered. "In fact, I think that name is perhaps the most unoriginal team name I've ever heard of."
"Damn Kojiro, way to strike below the belt." Tatsuko replied.
"Well in any case, how about you think of something, Mashu?" Ritsuka asked.
Mashu looked at him with surprise. "M-me?"
"Yeah, if we're coming up with duds, maybe you can think of something better." Tatsuko replied.
"I-I-I don't think anything I could come up with would be sufficient." Mashu said nervously. "I'm not really worthy of-"
"I disagree, Mashu." Ritsuka said. "You can definitely come up with something. You're part of the team, so you should have a say in what we call ourselves."
Mashu blushed slightly at the comment. The Shielder took a few deep breaths to calm herself down and nodded. "What should I think about?"
"Whatever comes to mind." Ritsuka answered. "How about something you think would suit us?"
Mashu nodded and closed her eyes. The Shielder thought to herself on what would be the most ideal name. Something short, simple and to the point. Something that could be easy to remember, and original. Something that could encapsulate who they are, and to remind them of their friendship. Something that is proof of their strong bond. Mashu opened her eyes and took a deep breath. She hoped this would be good enough.
"How about the Chaldean Trio?"
The two Masters and Kojiro looked at her in silence, but the Shielder looked at them back with confidence.
"I know that it might not be the best, but I think it would be-"
"What are you talking about Mashu?" Ritsuka asked. "That's an amazing idea."
Mashu's eyes widened. "Really?"
"Of course!" Ritsuka replied. "It's short, simple, and it has an excellent ring to it."
"Twig Boy's right!" Tatsuko chimed. "It's definitely something that pops!"
"I-I-I see…." Mashu muttered. "Thank you for your kind words."
"No, we should be thanking you Mashu." Ritsuka countered. "This gives us an identity, and it's all because of you."
Mashu looked at the two Masters in slight surprise before looking at the torii gate.
"An identity…." She muttered.
"Did you say something Mashu?" Ritsuka asked.
The Shielder gasped and shook her head. "N-n-nothing Senpai!"
The male Master shrugged. "Okay, just checking. Anyway, let's go find Medea and talk to her about this."
Mashu nodded. "Yes, let's do it."
"Okay, you take the lead Twig Boy!" Tatsuko chimed.
Ritsuka sighed as he and the two girls walked away to find Medea. Kojiro watched as the newly minted Chaldean Trio passed by him, causing him to smile.
"I look forward to seeing your progress, Chaldean Trio."
The Chaldean Trio continued their search for Medea to no avail. They've been searching for over 10 minutes and no signs of the Caster were found.
"I know that this place is supposed to be big, but what the hell!? Is she hiding from us or something?" Tatsuko muttered in annoyance.
"Tatsuko, let's just calm down." Ritsuka said. "We can still find her."
"Senpai's right." Mashu replied. "Medea is somewhere in Chaldea, so if we put our minds together, we should be able to find her."
"Yeah, but where?" Tatsuko asked. "We looked almost everywhere and there's still no sign of-"
"Why not try her room?" Ritsuka asked. "Maybe she went there to do something?"
"That's….wait a minute we haven't even looked there yet." Tatsuko said. "Okay, let's check it out."
The Chaldean Trio turned around and headed straight to the Caster's quarters. After turning a few corners, and walking past the cafeteria, they reached her room. Mashu brought her hand up to knock on the door and-
"I know you three are out there."
The Chaldean Trio looked at each other in shock. They turned their attention back to the door and exhaled sharply.
"Medea, can we come in?" Ritsuka asked. "There's something we need to talk about."
"No, you may not." Medea answered. "I'm very busy and I don't like any interruptions. Whatever you want to talk about it can wait until-"
"Sorry, but it can't wait." Tatsuko said as she opened the door. The Chaldean Trio looked at Medea's room and noted that it wasn't at all what they expected. It was plain, with no fancy ingredients or furniture was simple and practical, like her bed. The only thing that was of any note was Medea, with a book in her hands, and with an annoyed glare in her eyes.
"Are you trying to get on my nerves?" Medea asked.
"Sorry Medea, but what we need to talk about can't wait." Ritsuka answered.
Medea narrowed her eyes on the male Master. Out of the two Masters, he was definitely the one she liked the least. The mere sight of him made her feel even more irritated, but she knew that they won't leave her alone now, so she might as well talk to them in order to get them out faster.
"Fine, what do you three want?" She asked coldly.
"Wow, what's that attitude? Can't you be a little nicer?" Tatsuko asked.
"I certainly can, but right now I'm not in the mood to do so. I'd appreciate if you could simply ask your questions and leave me to continue reading my book"
"Thanks, we promise it's just a simple thing." Ritsuka said while a bit nervous over her attitude.
"And what is it, exactly?" Medea asked impatiently.
"Well you see, we saw what you did to Kojiro's door." Mashu answered.
Medea chuckled. "So you saw that? And did that jerk Kojiro see it?"
"Well, yes but-"
"And what was his reaction?" Medea asked with a smile. "Angry? Annoyed? Vengeful?"
The Chaldean Trio raised an eyebrow. She REALLY must hate Kojiro if that was what she wanted.
"Neither." Tatsuko answered. "In fact, he seemed amused."
Medea's smile faded. "What?"
"It's as she said." Ritsuka answered. "Kojiro was amused. In fact, he even said he wanted to keep it."
Medea's eye twitched. The Caster closed her book and took a few deep breaths. "No, no, I'm calm. I'm calm."
"Is everything alright Medea?" Ritsuka asked.
"No, that little gate was meant to upset that jerk." The Caster answered. "Then again, he's not so easily riled up…"
"Wow, you must really hate Kojiro." Tatsuko muttered.
"You can say that." Medea grumbled.
The Chaldean Trio looked at each other and nodded. If there was any way to get behind this issue, they would need to figure out the source of their conflict.
"If it's no problem with you, maybe you could tell us how it all started?" Mashu asked.
Medea sighed. "It's not like you three are going to leave me alone if I say no….."
"Sorry, but we're just trying to make sure that everyone's not trying to kill each other." Tatsuko said calmly.
"I suppose that's fair. We can't really afford the luxury of infighting now can we." Medea said in defeat. "Very well, what would you like to know?"
"Well, how about what happened during your Holy Grail War to make you hate Kojiro?" Ritsuka asked. "You DID summon him after all."
"So he told you that part, huh?" Medea muttered. She took a deep breath and looked at the Chaldean Trio with a calm gaze. "Let me make it simple. He was always talking back to me, despite the fact I was his Master."
"That's it?" Tatsuko asked. "THAT'S your big beef with him?"
"Among other things, but I'd rather not talk about those." Medea answered.
"You don't have to." Ritsuka replied.
Medea raised an eyebrow at the black haired teen before clearing her throat. "I also dislike him because he always taunted me with his words, so sensing an opportunity, I decided to get back at him with this new opportunity given to me."
"So, it WAS out of spite." Tatsuko said in realization.
"Correct." Medea replied. "Then again, it seems my plan backfired…."
"Well I'm going to be perfectly honest, even though it was meant to be a taunt, the replica you made was beautiful." Ritsuka said with a small smile.
Medea looked at the male Master in surprise. "You can't be serious."
"No, I agree with Senpai." Mashu chimed. "The way you made the replica was incredibly detailed. It was as if you had fond memories of the temple itself."
"Yeah, it actually looked like you put a lot of thought into it." Tatsuko said. "It looked really cool."
Medea gave a slight blush. "W-well I never said I hated living in the temple."
"Really?" Tatsuko asked. "Did you have a special someone who lived there?"
Medea chuckled. "That is not your concern."
"Okay, so if you won't share that, then how about we talk about when you were-"
"I'd rather not talk about that." Medea answered curtly as she returned to reading her book. "Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to my book please."
The Chaldean Trio looked at her in slight surprise, before looking at each other and sighing. It was clear she wasn't interested, so they might as well respect her privacy.
"Okay, we'll leave you alone." Mashu said. "But if you need anything, please let us know."
Medea didn't even acknowledge the Shielder as they walked towards the door, causing it to open. Medea looked up from her book and towards the trio.
"Oh wait, before you three go, I have something to say."
The Chaldean Trio looked back at the Caster, and saw a small smile on her face.
"Thank you for complimenting my handiwork."
The Chaldean Trio smiled back and nodded before walking out the door.
"Well that went better than expected." Tatsuko said.
"Yeah, honestly I'd like to talk to her more." Ritsuka replied. "I just wish there was a way for us to get her to open up."
"I agree." Mashu chimed. "She must have many interesting stories to tell."
"Well regardless, I guess we could say that this was our first successful mission as the Chaldean Trio!" Tatsuko shouted as she pumped her fist.
"Let's save that kind of thing when we do the singularities, shall we?" Ritsuka asked shyly.
"Oh come on, live a little!" Tatsuko turned to the lilac haired girl and the male Master and smiled. "Okay, so how about we just hang out in Twig Boy's room for the time being?"
"Seriously?" Ritsuka asked. "But I don't have anything interesting in there."
"Well it's roomy and it's closer than mine is, so why not?" Tatsuko asked.
"I'd like to go there as well." Mashu said with an innocent smile. "I always enjoy being in your room, Senpai. It's got a nice, calm atmosphere to it."
A small blush formed on Ritsuka's face for a moment, before shaking his head and exhaling. "Okay, let's just go to my room then."
Tatsuko chuckled in victory as the three of them turned the corner to head to the male Master's room. Unbeknownst to them, Medea heard every word they said as she read her book.
"Chaldean Trio, huh?" She muttered to herself in an amused tone. "It sounds like they're trying to be heroes. Oh it's no matter, it'll be interesting if they'll have the same tune with whatever we face in these singularities."
The Caster couldn't help but give a brief chuckle before returning to a comfortable silence. Medea flipped the page in her book without uttering a word. The only thing that could be heard was the clock ticking in her room.
—-Author's notes—-
OC: Wow, Medea sure is a complex woman isn't she.
CV: She sure is. I'll enjoy seeing her warm up to the group.
OC: I think I'll enjoy seeing ALL of them doing that, then again some already have a head start on warming up to the Chaldean Trio.
CV: They sure do. And for those that didn't, they'll get their interactions during Orleans.
OC: Yup, that's right folks, the first Singularity starts the next chapter.
CV: You'll get to see our very own take on this first stage in the FGO world.
OC: And as a bonus, we will be giving each one an Arc name. The singularities will still be given their original names, but we are giving each Arc a unique name in order to make them stand out (Aside from Babylonia because that one is TOO cool to change lol) And I think it's high time to give the name of the first arc that takes place in Orleans.
It is called: Ici il y a des dragons.
CV: Fancy, what does it mean?
OC: It is french for "Here there be dragons."
CV: Fitting for Orleans, I like it.
OC: Why thank you. At first I thought we would say it in english, but then I thought to myself, "Nah let's do it in french. It's more appropriate."
CV: Jalter would definitely love that being the name for her chapter.
OC: JALTER?! WHERE?!
CV: She's in her room writing her next manga.
OC: Interesting…..maybe I should….see if she needs help…
CV: No horny. Wait until we finish the author notes.
OC: Darn, oh well. Looks like it's back to the drawing board. But yeah, in case anyone couldn't tell, Jalter is one of my absolute favorite characters in FGO, in fact she was one of the reasons I even started playing the game.
CV: Really? Well, bet you're going to have a lot of fun writing her.
OC: Oh most definitely. And I hope I can do her justice here.
CV: I know you'll do, you're a great writer.
OC: Dawww thanks buddy.
CV: I hope everyone enjoyed today's chapter of Chronicles!
