CrimsonStarBlade chapter 8
so an unknown female red ranger saves Rumi who ended up meeting new mother Inko and baby Izuku, this sort of reminds me of a scene in the Flash where he (Flash) fought against Reverse-Flash ended up back in time and tried to save his mother, and instead decided to save his younger self to keep the timeline stable. The question is who is the mysterious female red ranger if you have not chosen Rumi as that red ranger. Don't tell us, make us try and guess who it is, who knows it might be a male who ended up being gender-bended (via quirk, technology, or magic) for a while and ended up in the past for a short time and ended up saving Rumi without realizing it until they return to their own time.
I wonder how the students/teachers/principal of Aldera react to the news about Izuku's 'transformation quirk'. Will some regret their actions against him or try and demand (like Katsuki) why he hid/never used it.
Honestly, I would have Izuku look at them in the eye in a flat stare and calmly say "The Principal along with the Teachers told me I am forbidden on defending myself in any form or else I'll have mark on my record, as for why I never showed it, every single one of you failed my personal trust test, that being friends in a truest way without any discrimination for being 'quirkless'." If Katsuki heard this, he would be angry and would think the Teachers/Principal are trying to weaken him (Katsuki) by not letting the extras fight back, in his mind at least, after all, how is he supposed to get stronger if his opponent(s) can't fight back.
Answer: Honestly as I think I said previously to a similar post don't know if it was on this site. but I did not consider time travel when I made that chapter and to be honest I probably would not go down that route. For the next part I do not think Aldera really cares at this point Izuku was barely a Blimp on their radar. As such they probably immediately stopped caring once he left the school. As for bakugo Izuku is not going to hide the fact that he's using a support item to do hero work from him. Which will probably piss him off even further if anything.
Chapter 9: Party In The Command Center Part 2
The tour started off with Izuku and Melissa showing the group the Zord Bay. As The group entered the Zord Bay they were completely shocked by the size of it. The Zord Bay was immense in size and large enough to probably fit a small City inside it, but Instead of buildings, Stood the tall and mighty zords of the Power Rangers of the past. Many of the Zords looked like they were falling apart by the seams and were held together with nothing but hopes and dreams. Some of the Zords looked not as bad off But we're obviously too damaged to operate, some of them Were not even fully intact, and just looked like a pile of parts. Large walkways stretched like roads giving access to every Zord, But there were 10 that were obviously separated from the rest and placed in front of them. This site put everybody in the group in a State of Shock and wonder, that was eventually broken by The Voice of Rumi.
"What the FUCK. How do you fit this down here without anyone noticing? Seriously this place is the size of Musutafu!" Rumi said as her voice echoed loudly throughout the Zord Bay.
Rumi Could not help but be shocked at the obscene size of the Zord Bay. Which was honestly Justified if the other members of the group's reactions were any indication. There were very few pictures of Zords that withstood the passage of time. Most of the pictures that survived, were either art or captured by crappy cell phones. There have been theories on how tall the Zords actually were And none of those theories didn't even come close to the actual size of these Behemoths. As Rumi walked up to the Dragon Zord and stood right next to it, She Couldn't help but feel like nothing but an ant in its presence. Rumi could not help But imagine the fights that they fought with these gigantic mechs. She doubted though she would ever be seeing them in action anytime soon, it was a fact that Giantification quirks were rare. Perhaps she could convince her friend Mountain Lady to have a spar with them. Yeah, that would be-. Her thoughts were halted by the voice of Deca responding to her question.
"The Zord Bay exists in a pocket dimension, in reality, this place Only takes the same amount of space as a 12-story building. The pocket dimension can grow or Shrink on however we need it to. There is an automated construction system in the Zord Bay that allows us to easily repair the Zords and construct access points just in case any of the Zords need any manual Access. As you can see we only have 10 Zords currently in active service. All the other Zords we have are currently in storage waiting for repairs. But due to our lack of resources, they're repairs have been put on the back burner." Deca says as izuku leads them out of the Zord Bay and back into the Command Center.
"I think you will love Are Next Stop Rumi." Izuku said with a brilliant smile that brightened up the room. Then Izuku leads them into a large chamber With identical white tiles on the floor, walls, and ceilings.
Then out of nowhere Tommy and Kimberly Phase into existence. "This is our training room, in this place, we can create solid holographic constructs that can mimic Any enemy that we have on record, as well as make physical bodies for ourselves as you all can see." Tommy says which shocks the group.
"This is also how we've been training izuku and Melissa so far, Tommy has been working on their Hand-to-hand combat skills, teamwork, tactics, and martial arts. I've been working on flexibility, Evasion, acrobatic movement, And spatial awareness. We also have been both sparring with them regularly and they've been doing quite well." Kimberly says quite happily. Kimberly was about to say something else but she was cut off by Rumi.
"Fight me!" Rumi says with a battle hungry grin as she points at Tommy. This caused Kimberly and izuku to laugh, and made Melissa and Tommy to dramatically sigh out loud.
"I told you that's the first thing she was going to do once she heard she could spar with them." Izuku said still laughing, as Melissa just pouted at him.
"I knew you were a feisty one, but before you challenge my husband to a spar why don't I finish the explanation about this place, and then we can get a spar going?" Kimberly says which elicits a nod from everybody.
"Okay, the simulator can create Any environment that we want As well as any enemy. We've also been using this simulator to allow them to train in using the Zords without firing the real deal up. There are multiple safety features built into the simulator to prevent mishaps. Now any questions?" Kimberly says.
"Yeah, how difficult can you make it?" Rumi said with that predatory grin returning.
"The enemies we construct can be as difficult as we need them to be, but are avatars can only be as strong as we were in our Prime," Kimberly says.
"Wait why is that? If you can make the enemies much harder why can't you guys do the same?" Aizawa asks raising an eyebrow.
"That is due to a Limitation of their AI pathways. Thanks to Ranger Tech and some magic, their AI pathways are an exact replica of their old neurological pathways. As such they have the same limitations as any other human would have. This is why they're not capable of high speed mathematics like myself. Now because of this, their Avatars can only be as strong and fast as their previous bodies were. Otherwise, we risk information overload and a possible shutdown of their AI pathways. The only way to make it more difficult is to allow Tommy to use his simulator Morpher. The simulator Morpher allows him to take any Ranger forms that we have in our database." Decca says answering Aizawa's question which he simply nods to.
"Fuck yeah, this means if I fight him it would be at his best and He can't pull any computerized cheap tricks. This is great, I'm going to get to fight the Power Ranger equivalent of all might." Rumi says as she bounces in place in excitement. Tommy just Chuckles at her enthusiasm before speaking.
"I love your enthusiasm, and that eagerness to fight strong enemies reminds me of a ranger or two I fought with. It's a good trait to have but don't let it blind you." Tommy said which caused Rumi to get serious.
"I cannot deny I like a good fight, but I didn't get into the number three spot by letting that blind me. I got there by helping people, that's always been my first priority and always will be. But I think that's enough Chit Chat, why don't we get this spar underway." Rumi said now grinning As she took off her shoes. She knew from past experiences that her shoes had a habit of getting torn up if she went all out with her quirk, So she made a habit of taking them off during spars.
"Okay, deca do you mind making an observation room for us? Oh, can you also Engage the Randomizer?" Kimberly said And with acknowledgment from Deca, she walked over to the now forming observation room With the rest of the group.
As the group entered the observation room Nezu decided to ask the question that was currently on everybody's mind." If you do not mind me asking What is this randomizer and who do you think will win? I must admit I doubt Mr Oliver would stand a chance." Nezu said with a Curious glint in his eyes but he was surprised by the dark chuckle that escaped Kimberly's lips at his question.
"Oh dear nezu, I have to admit the girl has spunk And I know that She's not ranked the third-strongest hero for nothing. But even I can tell by the way she carries herself she relies too much on her legs and acrobatics. She probably uses some type of mixed style of karate and capoeira with some gymnastics mixed in. This most likely resulted in a flexible kick-focused fighting style. Tommy's a master of seven different forms of martial arts and has plenty of experience fighting people with her skill sets. Not to mention Tommy takes the rules of escalation to the extreme. But as for the randomizer, it's just going to select a random fighting Zone like a beach or a ruined city, stuff like that. " Kimberly says smirking.
"Rules of escalation, what are those, And how does Following them To the extreme help him?" Eraserhead asks as he raises his eyebrow.
"Rules of escalation are quite simple, we do not use our powers to escalate a situation. For example, we don't bring out the Zords to fight a single street thug. Hell, normally we wouldn't even morph for that. We only use the morphing Grid and its powers when we absolutely need to or in situations where holding back would be dangerous. We do this to prevent property damage and misuse of our powers. The powers that the morphing grid gives us can be extremely destructive that's why we all must exercise restraint when using it. Hell, it's why we're already putting limiters into the Morphers at the moment. They weren't made to fight normal people after all. As for why this helps him, Tommy has been a ranger for a long time and has experienced losing his powers several times. As such he trained himself to the point where he's just as effective without a Morpher. He only really morphs when he wants to end a fight quickly or when he's fighting a strong enemy. In a spar, he rarely morphs and only does that when he's forced to. He fought several Rangers in a spar all at once without his Morpher and still came up on top. So yeah I doubt she will be able to beat him, Maybe force him to morph, but beat him, no." Kimberly says as she smiles confidently.
With her piece said the group returned to the two combatants who were about to start their spar. Aizawa doubted that Tommy would even be capable of keeping up with Miruko, He was quirkless after all. He had nothing against the quirkless but fighting the third-strongest hero without any extra advantage is quite a daunting task. So he was thoroughly surprised when 30 minutes later he saw a thoroughly bruised and beaten up Miruko happily eating some carrot cake.
The number three hero Miruko Fought Tommy with So much ferocity and pure determination that he thought even All Might would have a problem dealing with her. But somehow Tommy was evenly matched with her During the whole spar. Aizawa did not know if Tommy was simply impressed with her or if he was truly pushed into a corner. But when Tommy morphed into The Mighty Morphing Green Ranger it instantly turned from an even fight to a one-sided beat down, And what's even more strange it seems like Miruko was happy. He kind of expected Miruko to throw a hissy fit or ask for a rematch of some sort. But Seeing her happily eating cake is kind of throwing him off. Apparently, he wasn't the only one thrown off Since Nemuri decided to approach her.
"ahh, this might sound bad, but, ahh, I kind of half expected you to challenge Tommy for a rematch Instead of looking so happy about your loss." Nemuri said nervously to the Bunny woman.
Everybody knew how competitive Miruko was, it's how she got to the top three Of the Hero rankings so quickly in the first place. So no one knew how she would react if somebody pointed it out, after all this could have been her way of trying to ignore her loss. It was why Nemuri was so hesitant to bring it up but if she didn't it would bug her for the rest of the day. Rumi simply turned to Nemuri slowly and after an agonizing minute of finishing chewing her cake, she responded to the now extremely nervous Nemuri.
"How can I be angry about my loss? I forced Tommy to use his Morpher after all. Do you know how proud I am of myself for doing that? According to my knowledge, there have only been 2 other rangers that managed to do that, And that's with their morphers. The fact I was able to do that without one is a victory in my book." Rumi says happily as she puts another piece of carrot cake in her mouth. This made Nemuri and Aizawa sweatdrop at her answer.
Although Aizawa has to admit what he has learned so far and Rumi's earlier statement about him being the power Ranger equivalent of All Might. Most people would probably see it as an achievement of making the man go all out like she did. But his thoughts were cut off by the voice of Tommy chiming into the conversation.
"Indeed I have never been pushed so thoroughly by somebody without a Morpher, As such she should be proud. Which reminds me I think it's time for presents." Tommy said smiling.
Tommy had to admit to himself that Rumi was skilled. It was obvious that she was a born fighter and she trained rigorously to get to where she was today. But it was obvious To him while they were fighting that she wasn't fighting to win but to see how far she could push him. So when she managed to get him to morph she was a lot more tired than she would have been if she didn't attack him so ferociously. Although he had to admit with a bit more training she could definitely be one of the best. But These thoughts did not stop Tommy from having an amused smile on his face at the site of Rumi. Even though she is a born fighter and skilled enough to get him to morph in a spar. She simply Could not help Herself but to perk up in excitement at the Mention Of presents.
It was at this moment when a door to one of the rooms leading to the command center opened. A small amount of fog leaked out of it Covering the ground in a thin layer of fog. A red blue and gold automaton with a disk-shaped head and a red and gold lightning bolt on its chest walked out holding a blue and silver container.
"AYAYAYAYAY, It is nice to meet all of you I am Alpha 7." Alpha 7 says as he slowly enters the room. Rumi froze at the sight of Alpha 7, She could not believe that she was actually seeing an alpha, an actual Bonafide Alpha.
If somebody told her yesterday that she was going to be teleported to a Power Rangers Command Center, see actual Zords, get the chance to spar with Tommy Oliver, and now finally see an actual alpha. She would have bich slapped that person into next week for mocking her. But now standing in the middle of the Command Center for Power Ranger operations with an alpha right next to her. She's starting to wonder if this was actually a dream and she was just still in bed with her girlfriend. If it wasn't for the pain that she was in thanks to the Spar with Tommy she would have pinched herself already.
"Now Rumi midoriya, thanks to izuku, Melissa, and David Shield, were able to reactivate Alpha 7 here and is currently in the process of reactivating Alpha 5 and 6. Not only that they were able to construct an SPD Morpher by combining multiple parts of already damaged ones. If you accept we would like you to be the first SPD Ranger in 200 years and Alpha 7 will be assigned to you as your assistant." Tommy said with a smile on his face.
Rumi was shocked, did she just hear them right? She's not just getting Alpha 7 as an assistant but an actual Morpher as well. Tears started falling from her eyes as she rushed toward izuku and Melissa and grabbed them into a hug.
"Aaaaah, you're the best brother a sister can ask for," Rumi said as she cried a literal River of Tears.
'Well, that proves it she's a midoriya.' Tommy and Kimberly thought to themselves as they witnessed the famous midoriya tears in full swing. It didn't help when Izuku and Inko ended up joining in as well. It took Deca constantly teleporting the literal River of Tears out into the sea to prevent everybody from drowning in the Command Center. Eventually, the small family calmed down and they were able to compose themselves, But when they did Tommy spoke up.
"Okay, there are a couple of things you need to know about that Morpher. First is that it is known as a SPD Elite morpher. An SPD Elite Morpher is one of the strongest configurations of all the SPD morphers but it's also the most difficult to produce. In time we should be able to produce more of these, and since we're not trying to police the Galaxy we can focus on Elite Morphers more than the standard ones. Anyway, the special thing about SPD Elite morphers is that their Ranger suit is extremely customizable. Izuku and Melissa have already designed your suit and added some gear to it but at the moment it is quite limited due to our lack of resources. This also means you do not have a personal Zord yet, but you will have access to any of the ones currently in the Zordbay if needed. But you have to go through the training simulator To learn how to properly pilot a Zord Before you're able to use any of them." Tommy says still smiling.
"Okay then, let's try this baby out. I want to see what I look like all powered up." Rumi said excitedly before being interrupted by Tommy.
"Unfortunately Rumi you won't be morphing anytime soon. You see The SPD Morpher we're giving you was made by using parts from the other Damaged SPD morphers. The adaptive capacitor which controls grid synchronization Was originally part of one of the SPD prototyped morphers. The adaptive capacitor Was the most important component in the SPD morphers. Its sole purpose is to allow older individuals to adapt to the morphing grid safely without any medical or physical repercussions. Most Morphers Like The ones belonging to The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers require people that are between the ages of 13 to 18 for grid synchronization. This was because these Morphers did not have an adaptive capacitor or could not be modified to have such a device. If we had an adaptive capacitor from a normal or Elite Morpher, then it would only take a couple of days of synchronization. B ut since we're dealing with one from a prototype sPD Morpher it would take you several months for you to fully adapt to it." Tommy said seriously which made Rumi perk up in confusion.
"Wait you've been a ranger for years and all that time you have never been an SPD Ranger. So how are you still able to use other morphers as you gotten older." Rumi asked.
"Oh, That's an easy question, thanks to my time as a Mighty Morphin Power Ranger I was able to synchronize with the morphing grid at the proper age. Once synchronized you are forever synchronized to the Morphing grid. I t also happens this very concept is how we got one of our most beloved mottos." Tommy says smiling.
"Motto, what motto was that." Nemuri asked curious.
"Once a ranger, always a ranger. This phrase was very popular in the ranger community there are many Rangers that have lost or sacrificed their powers. And it was this phrase that was used by those individuals to continue fighting because even without their powers they were still a Ranger. because once a ranger, always a ranger." Tommy said with a smile Which made Izuku, Rumi, and Melissa's eyes to Sparkle in admiration. After Tommy's little speech, they return to the party and Rumi opens a couple of other presents before they eventually called it a night.
