Chapter 10: Meet And Greet

Rumi sat in her office which was in her girlfriend's agency. She was looking through the ranger archives that contained all the female red rangers. Most of them were part of the SPD and some were from different planets altogether and none of them matched what she saw that night. She sighed tiredly at the lack of progress but before she could go through the list again the door to her office opened and stepped in alpha 7.

"Hi 7, how have you been, and do you need help with anything?" Rumi said with a tired smile.

"No Miss Miruko I am quite capable of handling all the paperwork that you have assigned to me. However, I do have a couple of things that need direct signatures from you." Alpha 7 says in a chipper tone.

Rumi loved Alpha 7 for his capabilities of dealing with the massive headache known as paperwork. Which was a godsend to somebody like Rumi who absolutely hated it. Now all she had to do was sign a couple of documents here and there and go out on patrol and kick some Villain's ass and not be stuck in an office. Her thoughts were cut off by Alpha 7 who spoke to her, He even somehow got behind her and was looking at what she was researching.

"May I ask why are you looking at all the Red Female Power Rangers Miss Miruko?" Alpha 7 asked curiously. Which made Rumi look absolutely tired and depressed as she sagged onto her desk in exasperation.

Rumi debated telling Alpha 7 for a second, before realizing that Alpha 7 was literally a walking database of Power Ranger information. If anyone knew something about The Power Rangers it would be him. But she needed to know something first.

"Hey, 7 Can you keep a secret?" Rumi asked tiredly

"Of course, like Deca, I have privacy protocols in place. As long as the information does not endanger your life, the life of an innocent, or any other ranger's life. I can 100% assure you that your private information will not be disclosed to anyone without your permission." Alpha 7 says confidently, Which causes Rumi to sigh in relief at his words.

"Okay, when I was little my parents were murdered right in front of me. I remember very little from that day, but what I do remember was a female in red spandex that looked like a Power Ranger fighting off the ones who murdered my parents which allowed me to escape. I'm almost positive it was a Power Ranger but since most information on the Power Rangers has been lost to time I've been stuck. Now I have access to the full Ranger database, so I've been looking through all the Red Female Power Rangers to see if I could recognize any of them. But there are only a handful of Red Female Power Rangers and none of them I recognize." Rumi said in a defeated tone.

"I see but why are you looking for past female Rangers, you do realize that the information you're reading is 200 years out of date." Alpha 7 said causing Rumi to slam her head onto her desk in defeat, seeing this alpha 7 continued.

"Instead of looking for past female Rangers, perhaps you should look through the whole Red Ranger database and cross-reference the Morphers that we do not have in our possession." Alpha 7 says causing Rumi to jump up and hug Alpha 7 in gratitude.

But before Rumi could start her research her phone started to go off, picking it up she groaned. It was the reminder that she set for herself for today's meeting And she couldn't just skip this meeting either. Because this meeting was all about meeting the parents as well as their children who are the ranger candidates that were selected through the Legacy program. At first, it was supposed to be just the parents and David but when they were told that the number three hero Miruko as well as principal nezu would be in attendance they agreed to bring their children along. She also knew midnight and Eraserhead would be on standby just in case as well, So security would not be a problem for this meeting. Sighing she looked at Alpha 7 and spoke up.

"It looks like I'll have to continue my research later. I got to go to the meeting with the ranger candidates in an hour so I better get moving." Rumi said to Alpha 7 who nodded in response and after she said her goodbyes to him she left her office and made her way to the meeting location.

Meeting Location Musutafu Public Park

Rumi was patrolling the area of the park where the meeting was at. In a wide open area at a picnic table set Nezu, Izuku, Melissa, and her father David. The four were waiting for the ranger candidate's parents and their children. Tommy picked this area for its open and public vineyard to prevent any backstabbing by their soon to be guests. Which, she had to agree with Tommy that The likelihood of them being backstabbed Was quite High. After all the devices that they left behind is supposed to be nowhere capable of being functional Passed a century, thanks to the unique power cores That powered the devices. So it was highly possible that the stuff was hacked and reverse engineered, all in the hopes that when the Command Center reactivated, they could get all that Power Ranger Tech. But then again it is possible that these are true candidates and they Just figured out a way to make sure the Devices remained Operational.

Rumi's thoughts were interrupted by the noise of a truck pulling up. Rumi's ears flickered due to how loud the truck was. Just from her hearing alone, she could tell that it hadn't been properly maintained for a while now and probably just Barely holding itself together. Looking over she could see an old rundown construction truck that had seen better days, now parking in the designated spot that was given to the candidates And their family. She was about to go over and ask them to park somewhere else. But when she saw a man and a woman with a kid that was Izuku's age step out of the truck. She decided to wait to see if they gave the signal that Nezu insisted on making all the candidates do. So they would know that they were the real deal. The parents and the child looked around for a bit before they pulled out a cube and waited. That was the signal, and The cube matched the description of the device that was given to all The ranger families so they could find Ranger candidates in the future. It was pretty clever of Nezu to make that the signal, because only the ranger candidates should have it and the devices were extremely hard to fake. Especially when they gave out a very specific signal which Deca can scan for to verify if the cube was genuine or not. Pulling out her phone she pinged Deca telling her that somebody was here with a cube. She did a quick scan of the area and located the cube's energy signature and after she gave Rumi the all clear she approached them.

The parents tensed up a bit when Rumi approached them Not recognizing her immediately since she was in her civilian clothes. After all the last thing she wanted right now was to be hounded by her fans. But after a second they eventually recognized her, which is another good sign that they were the real deal since they gave them the description of her civilian attire.

"Yo, what color were you?" Rumi asked with a smile on her face.

The question was a code phrase given to the original Ranger families so later generations could recognize each other. What Rumi seems to be The mother recognizing the code spoke up.

"Space pink, and you?" the Mother said in response.

"I don't have a color but I'm a friend of Dr.O and his wife. My name is Rumi Midoriya and I'm also known as the Pro Hero Miruko." Rumi said with a smile before continuing.

"The meeting is down there at the picnic table i'm going to go back on patrol to make sure you guys are safe and to greet the others when they arrive." Rumi said As she pointed to the picnic table where the group was sitting before walking off.

The family made their way down to the picnic table and when David, Melissa, Izuku, and Nezu saw them they tensed up only a bit, before forcing themselves to relax. As the family sat down Izuku decided to introduce himself.

"Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya I'm the current Mighty Morphin Green Ranger and this is Melissa she's the current Mighty Morphin White, And this is her father and nezu the principle of UA." Izuku said Nervously as he introduced himself, Melissa, And the others. The woman assumed to be the mother spoke up first.

"My name is Mew Uraraka, this is my husband Joshua Uraraka, this is my daughter who is the candidate Ochaco Uraraka, and My family is space pink." Mew said, who looked to be an older version of their daughter. As the family sat down the father decided to speak up.

"Now introductions are out of the way, I think we should get to business. First I want proof that you are who you say you are." Iwarima Uraraka said, to which Mew gave a disappointed glare and Ochaco gave a worried one.

Iwarima Uraraka was a Tall man who was built like a brick house, Izuku could swear that the man's muscles had muscles. He Has messy black hair that stuck out of a baseball cap. He also had brown eyes with a Jagged scar running down one of them. He was wearing a muscle shirt with heavy-duty jeans and a leather jacket. The jacket looked like it had a company logo on it That depicted a crane lifting a steel beam with the words Uraraka Construction Company Underneath it in bold letters. All in all a very intimidating man if Izuku had anything to say about it. But before he could say anything about it the small pad that was situated in the middle of the table lit up and the image of Tommy Oliver appeared as a hologram.

"For one the fact that I am here and they have access to Ranger Tech speaks for itself does it not?" Tommy says looking at the man with a smile. But The man only looks at him stone-faced.

"How do I know that you are really Tommy Oliver?" Iwarima Uraraka Said in an accusing tone. This caused Ochaco to speak up, after all, there was no way she was going to let her father ruin one of her childhood dreams.

All her life she grew up with stories about her great-grandmother and her adventures, And ever since the first story that her mother told her she wanted to be just like her great-grandmother. She knew that she was probably not going to get the chance to become a Power Ranger due to the morphing grid apparently being more slower to regenerate than predicted. So instead of Just Relying on her hopes of becoming a Power Ranger, she decided to train to become a hero as well. But now thanks to that energy wave a while back, she now has a chance to fulfill one of her dreams.

"Papa stop, you know what we agreed to. Once everybody's here we're going to be transported to the Command Center which can only be accessed from the inside, Which only Tommy, Kimberly, or Deca Have access to. The fact that they have access means they're telling the truth so be patient. Not to mention the principle of UA's here as well as the number three hero Miruko." Ochaco said in a scolding tone that made her father look down in depression. He also mumbled to himself about 'how his baby girl is so mean.' Which only made Ochaco and her mother roll their eyes at his antics. Melissa was amused at how a massive man of muscle could be reduced to such a depressed state by his daughter putting her metaphorical foot down. But her musings were cut off by A group of voices that was now approaching them.

Looking over they could see What looked to be the rest of the group of people that they were waiting on. The first of the group looked to be a single mother who was in her police officer uniform. The woman had long brown hair that was tied up into a single ponytail, she had black eyes, and her facial structure was extremely similar to Kimberly's which Tommy immediately took note of. Following them was a pair of clothes? Taking a second to take in what they were seeing they realized that the girl was invisible which fascinated izuku. The next group had a woman wearing a business suit, a pair of glasses, and raven black long hair that she had in a ponytail that ran down her back all the way to her waist. She was also well endowed and had an hourglass figure. The next one was a man wearing a business suit who had a well-kept black hair that was slicked back onto one side. He was also carrying a large briefcase with him which Tommy noted. With them was a girl who was a carbon copy of what they assumed to be her mother but without the glasses And shorter hair.

The next group is what really caught Tommy's eye. For one there was a near carbon copy of Kimberly who looked to be part dinosaur. The woman had long Feathery green hair that reached her shoulders, she had green scaly skin with a white underbelly, she had golden Slitted eyes, sharp Jagged teeth, and her fingers had hooked claws. The man standing beside her was actually pretty plain looking, his black eyes Had no pupils, he had short dark brown hair and pale skin. He too was wearing a business suit. Last but not least is their daughter she had dark green hair with Slitted eyes, Jagged teeth and she was wearing a similar sweater to her mother. As the group got closer they noticed the Uraraka's and their eyes narrowed at them in suspicion. But before anyone could say anything Tommy started to speak.

"Hello, I am Tommy Oliver you can either call me Tommy or Dr. O. I am glad for all of you for coming. But before we do anything else I need to ask Something otherwise it's going to bug me for the rest of the day." Tommy said before looking at the dinosaur woman before speaking again.

"Is your Quirk mutation a Deinonychus? wait no it's a Velociraptor isn't it." Tommy said This caused the mother and daughter to immediately perk up at his question. But before they could answer Tommy fizzled out and in her place was Kimberly.

"I'm sorry about my husband but I do have to admit Tommy was right for once. I would look hot if I was a dinosaur. After all, I have proof standing right in front of me." Kimberly says As she Winked at the mother and daughter before continuing. This caused the two to blush at Kimberly's teasing

"But anyway I don't want to assume anything, but I'm guessing you're like what my great, great, grandkids or something." Kimberly says with curiosity In her tone and with some Hope in her eyes.

This caused the brown hair and green hair mothers to smile. "Actually yes, me and Uyebu are your descendants. She's even a paleontologist like old man Tommy. I'm Mitanda Hagakure by the way and I am Toru's mother. Our family is M Pink and Master Green, White, Black, Red, and Quantum Red." Mitanda Hagakure said with a smile. Taking this opportunity to introduce themselves Uyebu decided to introduce her family.

"Hi, I am Uyebu Tokage I am Mitanda's distant cousin. This is my husband Kobamine Tokage and my daughter and Ranger candidate Setsuna Tokage. Our family colors are M Pink and Master Green, White, Black, Red, and Quantum Red." Uyebu Tokage said matching her cousin's smile. Taking this opportunity the last group stepped up and introduced themselves.

"Hello, Kawamuro Yaoyorozu and this is my husband Fukusone Yaoyorozu. My daughter and Ranger candidate's name is Momo Yaoyorozu and our family is M Blue." Kawamuro introduced them in a very formal way that indicated They were from High Society. This only causes Kimberly to smile brightly.

"Oh, so you're Billy's kids eh, well I am Kimberly Heart Formal mighty Morphin Pink Ranger. This is Izuku Midoriya current mighty Morphin Green Ranger, and Melissa Shield current mighty Morphin white Ranger, and her father. As you probably already figured out this is principal Nezu of UA and behind you is Rumi Midoriya also known as the Pro Hero Miruko and currently the only SPD Ranger." After Kimberly finished speaking mew decided to introduce her family.

"Hello I'm Mew Uraraka this is my husband Iwarima Uraraka. This is my daughter and Ranger candidate Ochaco Uraraka, our family is space pink." Mew Uraraka Says politely. This caused The Three Family's eyes to widen.

"Wait I thought your family was situated in America, Kansas if I remember." Kawamuro says As she tilts her head in confusion.

"Yes, our family was situated in Kansas but my father before I was born moved here after our house got hit by a twister. My mother was from Japan and instead of buying a completely new house, they moved in with my mother's folks. If I knew there were other Ranger families around I would have hooked up with you guys Sooner." Mew says with a smile. But before anyone could say anything else, Rumi spoke up.

"Okay, before we teleport all of you guys to the Command Center as planned we're going to do a quick check to see if any of you guys are lying." Rumi says as she pulls out her Morpher and flips it to detect mode. It took a good minute to see if any of them were guilty of lying, which luckily none of them were, and After that test, Kimberly teleported them to the Command Center."
