What if Bray Wyatt beat Cena at WM XXX

In the career of Bray Wyatt, we start from the beginning. Windham Rotunda as he's known in real life, started off as a rookie on season 2 of NXT's game show phase. His name back then was Husky Harris, he and fellow rookie Michael McGillicutty would join the Nexus in the fall of 2010, and then his time with the group would end when Randy Orton punted his head.

This kept him out of the business for 2 years, where he would begin his journey as a new being. That of a backwoods cult leader named Bray Wyatt, who spoke in riddles and cryptic messages of gods and prophecies. He'd debut against Kane in a ring of fire match, then we'd come across our first major change to Bray's career.

Wrestlemania 30, where Brock had somehow broken the streak, Daniel Bryan had the miracle on Burbon Street. And Bray Wyatt faced on against John Cena, Bray had offered up his body to Cena, who was holding a steel chair. The face of the company had been poked and prodded on the road to mania about his moral image as the Face of WWE.

Cena was thinking of hitting Bray, even as the ref urged him not to. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper stared at the lone jorts wearing rapper as Cena gripped the legs of the chair...

...and swung at Bray.

But Wyatt evades, and with his opponent disoriented he catches Cena with Sister Abigail. Pinning him for the biggest win of his young career.

After that Cena would get his win back at Extreme Rules, and win the trilogy at Payback.

Three years later at the Elimination Chamber, Bray Wyatt won the WWE Title beating AJ Styles. He then went on to Mania and faced Randy Orton, who after months of teaming and winning the tag championships with Bray late last year, turned on him and burned down his Wyatt compound.

During their match, while still keeping the action. It didn't include the weird power point presentations of insects. Seriously what was with that?

In the end this time, Bray countered the final RKO into Sister Abigail. With this the end of their feud, and Beau remained on Smackdown while Randy moved to Raw.

Thus when Jinder Mahal would challenge for the WWE title because of the company's attempt to capitalize on an Indian market, this time Bray would easily dispatch of the jobber. And Mahal never went on that shortsighted reign that buried Shinsuke Nakamura, and had the ghastly Punjabi Prison Match at Battleground.

Speaking of Nakamura, Bray would drop the belt at Summerslam to the King of Strong Style.

Then his feud with Matt Hardy where Matt channeled his Broken Matt character, or Woken as WWE would call it, happened. Where Matt would cast Bray into the Lake of Reincarnation, and they became the Deleters of Worlds that garnered one tag championship reign before disbanding after Matt got injured.

In 2019, strange vignettes teased something sinister. And audiences were stunned when arrived the Firefly Funhouse, the Mr. Rogers style segment with Bray Wyatt as the host. With Abby the Witch, Mercy the Buzzard, Rambling Rabbit, and other friends in this demented children's show.

His Summerslam squash of Finn Balor was followed by the fateful Hell in a Cell match with Seth Rollins, 11 Curb Stomps and all. But when Seth would bury the Fiend and swing the sledgehammer, the red lights would go out. And the Fiend's body would disappear, Seth and the ref panicked as the hammer wielding Universal champion searched for any sign of the unholy challenger for his title.

When the lights would go out again, the Fiend would reappear and lock Seth in the mandible claw, straddling the champion as he drove his fingers under Seth's tongue. Soon enough Seth passed out as the Fiend held him down, the ref counted.

The Fiend cackled as the ref fearfully handed him the title. The last image of the PPV was Bray standing atop the cell as the lights flickered and the horrific screeching went off, as did the following Crown Jewel event after Bray defeated Seth in a falls count anywhere match.

The next change was the next Saudi Show, with the 2020 Super Showdown. Fiend Vs Goldberg. Goldberg hit spear after spear after spear, but when he goes for the Jackhammer...

... The Fiend countered into Sister Abigail, then a second SA, then a third followed by a Mandible claw submission. This made Goldberg pass out, as that shortsighted squash never happened to the Fiend.

Around this time was when the pandemic happened, and all of WWE's shows till further notice took a place at the Performance Center. John Cena and Bray fought in that Firefly Funhouse match at Wrestlemania in one of the most bizarre and bonkers World title matches you've seen.

The following PPV Bray would lose the Universal title to Braun Strowman, setting up their feud which ends at Summerslam, which ended with Roman Reign's return as the Tribal Chief.

And that's about all the changes made if Bray got that win against Cena at Wrestlemania 30, after then it's his Mania 37 night 2 match with Orton, his unexpected release shortly after. His cinematic return the following year, and his last year to walk the earth before his life was snuffed out of him.

Rest in peace, Windham Rotunda
