"Talking"

The day of the finals had finally arrived. After the explanation that Naruto gave to Sasuke and Sakura, he had asked Yagura to train him, and then bucked down and trained like his life depended on it. Yagura had taught him quite few things, as well as supplied him with two knuckle blades which he was taught to use.

====Flashback====

"What are these for?" asked Naruto.

"I don't have wind natured chakra, so I can't help you much with jutsu, but I do know that those blades can help you. They are specially designed metal, which can enforce your wind natured chakra," said Yagura.

"How do I use them? Just pour chakra in them?" asked Naruto.

"Yes. Concentrate and leak your chakra into them," Yagura said. Naruto stared at the dark colored knuckle blades, allowing his chakra too deep through his skin and fingertips, leaking into the blades. He saw the blades started to glow and a failure outline of his chakra was noticeable around the metal.

"Very good!" said Yagura.

"Hehe, it was nothing," Naruto said.

"Now," said Yagura, who held up his staff and bent his knees and jumped at Naruto, "Defend yourself."

"Ook!" said Naruto.

====Flashback End====

"I shivered at the thought of those two weeks which Yagura had taken over my life with. Thought I had been trained by a Kage, a kage who had been the strongest ninja in his village since he was a child. That stuff is the bane of my existence, and the thing of nightmares," Naruto said.

"Damn straight," said Kurama. Naruto was waiting at the entrance gate of final chunnin exams with his team. Sakura was holding a banner.

"I need Hinata to help me hold this up. It's going to be great! You'd better win," said Sakura.

"Do you doubt us?" asked Sasuke.

"I doubt your ability to think in battle, yes," said Sakura.

"Heads up," said Naruto. Sasuke lifted his head and caught a kunai with his forefinger.

"I taught you well Sasuke," said Kakashi proudly.

"Yes, fantastic, can we go inside now?" asked Sakura.

"Of course, Sakura," said Kakashi. Sakura started to walk with Sasuke. Kakashi caught Naruto's shoulder and pulled him back. Naruto jerked his shoulder away from Kakashi's hand and raised his chin to meet Sensei's eyes.

"Yes? What can I do for you?" asked Naruto. Kakashi ignored the blatant disrespect.

"I wanted to apologize," said Kakashi.

"Apology accepted," Naruto said, then turned and started walking.

"Wait!?" said Kakashi.

"What?" asked Naruto.

"The cursed mark how is it?" asked Kakashi.

"All gone," said Naruto.

"Funny," said Kakashi.

"Seriously," said Naruto.

"But it can't be removed!" said Kakashi.

"By a human, it can't," said Naruto, "But you're forgetting I have a demon inside me, only a demon can destroy cursed seal." Kakashi was silent for a while then spoke.

"Let's get going," said Kakashi.

"Come on Naruto," said Sasuke.

"Yes!" said Naruto.

"Let's kick some ninja ass," said Sasuke.

"Yooo!" said Naruto. The proctor took a thin toothpick out of his pocket and clamped it between his teeth.

"Why did I have to be stuck doing the finals of the exams? I don't want to be a proctor," said the proctor, who sighed and saw 8 genin standing in line.

"So many people…" said Sena in amazement.

"I know right! Isn't it exciting?" asked Fuu.

"I just want to get to my match already," Sasuke said, then thought, 'But probably not even going to get to it, to be honest. Konoha was going to be attacked huh!'

"It's going to be fun," said Naruto.

"Fun? This is going to be deadly. It's going to be more than fun," said Kaoru.

"Your psychopathy is showing, Kaoru," said Haru.

"Shut up. Akihiko gonna agree with me, right?" asked Kaoru, who then swung his arm to Akihiko's shoulders. Akihiko slapped Kaoru's hand away.

"Don't touch me, your idiocy maybe contagious," said Akihiko.

"Rude," said Kaoru.

"Hahaha," laughed Haru.

"You lot, shut up and stop looking around," said the proctor.

"Why?" asked Fuu.

"Stand up straight and face the audience," said the proctor, he saw all 8 face the audience.

The arena was packed with people. Of course, there would be a lot of people, it was one of the first times in a while that there was ninja from almost every hidden village, Kumo, Konoha, Kiri, Taki and Iwa, participating in the Chunnin Exams. The only teams who didn't go through to the finals were the Suna team, and the Oto team.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for coming to watch Konoha's Chunnin Exam Finals!" shouted the Hokage. The audience cheered.

"Hinata-chan! Help me, quickly! You too Akane!" said Sakura.

"Hai," said Hinata.

"Okey, on three, scream what I told you to earlier!" yelled Sakura.

"O-one…" stuttered Hinata.

"Two!" said Akane.

"Three!" said Sakura, the lifted the banner, "Together! Kick some Ninja ass!"

"Hah?!" said Naruto.

"Embarrassing," said Sasuke.

"I want a banner!" shouted Fuu.

"Fangirls annoying," said Akihiko.

"Okey kids. Although the landscape is different, the rules are the same; there are no rules," said the proctor, who saw no one even flinched, "Bloodthirsty little shits. The match will only end when someone dies, or gives up," the proctor saw again no one flinched, "But if I decided the match is over, I will stop the match. No arguing, or I will stop the match. No arguing, to I will put you down."

"I'd like to see you try," said Haru.

"Don't tempt me, kid," said the proctor, who looked at the whole group, "The first match will now start. Everyone but Sena of Kumo, and Kaoru of Kiri, get out of the arena grounds." Naruto walked forward with Sasuke, heading to the stairs.

"Good luck Sena, give it all your strength," said Fuu.

"Thank you," Sena said. Naruto reached the competitors' box; he saw Yagura in other side of the stadium.

"Looks like a lot of the Kage's are here. I doubt Orochimaru was anticipating that, since it wasn't going to originally happen, but you made Yagura and Raikage insist," said Sasuke.

"Which will make the invasion even easier to win," said Naruto.

"Let's sit," Sasuke agreed.

"Yeah," said Naruto.

"I haven't seen you in a while, Mizukage-sama," said Kazekage (Orochimaru), but we will call him Orochimaru.

"Yes, well, the civil war has been put on hold as I discuss future plans with Mei Terumi," said Yagura, then thought, 'I know you are Orochimaru, you fucker. Your chakra signature is too simple to sense.'

"This is definitely a meeting which was long overdue," said the Raikage. Bee was standing behind Raikage with Yugito.

"Indeed. A shame that Hisen-sama and Oonoki-sama couldn't come," said the Hokage.

"Yes, very unfortunate," said Orochimaru, then thought, 'But more helpful to me.'

'It stinks of snake. How revolting,' Yagura thought.

"About time for it to begin, yes?" asked the Raikage. The Hokage nodded. Utakata leaned on the wall behind the Kages. He smirked at Yugito and Bee.

"Okey, roll call," said Utakata. Naruto started talking in the mind.

"It's Naruto, long time no hear. I'm in the competitors' box," said Naruto.

"Fuu here! I'm with him!" said Fuu.

"Bee and I behind the Kages. As is Utakata," said Yugito.

"I'm with the other Kages," said Yagura.

"Hello, I'm in the audience," said Gaara.

"Roshi here," said Rosh, everyone was confused, "I'm about 50 meters away from the Konoha gate."

"As am I," said Han.

"My Kiri team are also in the competitors' box," said Yagura.

"Akane is in audience," Naruto said. Yagura leaned back in his seat in relax, watching Sarutobi.

"Now, start the first match!" said the Hokage. Both the competitors stared at each other.

'So, he is a taijutsu user, very quickly, so I can't defeat him in speed. I will use my genjutsu on him. But he isn't looking at my eyes,' thought Kaoru.

'You think you can genjutsu me. Ha!" thought Sena.

"Why don't they just fight? I came to see a fight!" said a civilian.

"Ha! This is why you are a civilian, and we are ninja," said Akane.

"Hahahahaha. What a savage reply. Oohhhooh!" said Sakura. Kaoru jumped forward and throw kunai at his head, leg, body and torso.

'He just standing there? It will hit for sure,' thought Kaoru. Sena vanished a split second before the kunai made their way to impale.

"What?" said Kaoru, who was on guard for any attack, he felt something in the air a few meters away from his back. Kaoru boosted himself and threw a punch on Sena, who vanished in a split second, from the other side, throw a barrage of kunai and shuriken at the Kaoru. Kaoru caught two kunai, and them to block the other shuriken that was attacking him.

"I apologize for not looking into your eyes, I know it's rude. However, I know that if I do, I will be caught in your genjutsu," said Sena.

"Humans are strange creatures. We demand obedience and submission by enforcing eye contact. I take no offense," Kaoru said.

"I'm glad to hear that," said Sena. Kaoru took out his cards and showed with a evil smile.

"Yagura-sama, I have never seen a ninja fight with cards before," said Hokage.

"Yes, the cards are artifacts from Kaoru's family history. He had them restored to suit his needs, I believe," Yagura said.

"The young Sena boy is also very talented. And I think he is still wearing wrist weights, Raikage-sama?" asked Orochimaru.

"Well, they are both talented for their age, we shall see if they are good enough to become Chunnin as the fight progresses," said Raikage. Everyone nodded and started watching again.

Sena threw a punch. Kaoru ducked, then Sena jumped away from each other, then pulled out a invisible string as weapons from every direction attacked Kaoru.

"Hah!" Kaoru said, then span with a kunai and blocked them all, both stared at each other, "It's just… a bit disappointing."

"How so?" asked Sena.

"Because you're going to look at me eventually," said Kaoru.

"Hah!" said Sena, suddenly the ground rumbled under his feet, "I didn't even notice—!" Then falls to the ground.

"I caught you in a genjutsu," Kaoru said.

"He's not moving," said an audience member.

"Why isn't he moving?" asked another.

"W-who do you think will win, Sakura-chan?" asked Hinata.

"Well, Sena is in Kaoru's genjutsu, so I think it will be over soon," said Sakura.

"Kaoru's going to win," Akane said.

"I've never really tried genjutsu," Sasuke said.

"Hmm… You're an Uchiha. Uchiha's are known for their genjutsu," said Naruto.

"I was never taught genjutsu before the massacre," Sasuke said.

"Hahaha. You should learn, you have sharingan, maybe you can ask Kakashi to teach you," said Naruto.

"Nah, Kakashi doesn't use much genjutsu, maybe I can ask Kurenai instead you know, Team 8's Sensei," Sasuke said.

"Yeah. Let's focus on their match now," said Naruto.

"Yeah," said Sasuke. Kaoru lifted a card with a picture of a man, hanging upside down from a tree was drawn onto it, "Le Pendu. The Hanged Man."

"The cards that Kaoru had were special. They were specialized tarot cards, which had his chakra in team. When he caught someone in his genjutsu, he could choose which card he wanted to draw the victim into. Sena was caught in the Le Pendu, The Hanged Man card. There were others of course, such as Le Mort; Death, and Le Diable; The devil," said Yagura.

"I was great fun," said Kaoru, who smiled and let go of the tarot card in his fingers, and allowed it to flutter to the ground, as it fell to the ground, he mouthed a word and it burst into flames as it burned and dropped to the ground. As the card burned to a crisp, Sena's knees gave way and he fell in a crumpled heap to the ground. Sena eyes still blank. His hearing hit the floor with a sickening CRACK as the ground beneath his head broke a little bit. Sena went unconscious.

"Winner; Kaoru of Kiri!" said the proctor, who was Gemma. Kaoru shut his eyes and smiled. The audience cheered for him.

"That was awesome," said an audience.

"I never seen this type of fight," said another. Kaoru saw a stretcher was called for Sena.

"He'll be fine in a few hours!" yelled Kaoru, then went to the competitors' box.

"Good job," Akihiko said.

"Next match," said Haru.

"Thanks," said Kaoru.

"Hey!" said Naruto. Kaoru looked at Naruto.

"Good job," said Naruto.

"Yaa! Thanks!" said Kaoru. Haru grabbed Kairu's arm and dragged him away from the room.

"Where are they going?" said Fuu.

"You don't want to know," said Akihiko.

"Oi, Fu and Akihiko, you guys are up. The next match between; Fuu vs. Akihiko," said Gemma.
