Youth and Dreams. These two things tend to go hand in hand. Sensei himself understands just how difficult it is to continue chasing one's dreams as an adult, which is why he is hard at work to make sure that his students can freely chase their own dreams, with him guiding them so they don't go too far while chasing after their own dreams.
Though of course, he would have to start with reigning in his tendency to rush into danger head-on. It would be a disaster if an entire city of impressionable teens started copying him, after all.
"Sensei! Where did all these expenses come from?!" Yuuka exclaimed as she dropped a folder containing the expenses for this month, with an older redhead scratching his head.
Sensei dryly chuckled as he recalled the recent incident while looking over the document. After looking it over, he started explaining what happened. "Things uh…went out of control and I offered to cover the damages."
"Sensei…" Yuuka's expression grew softer. "While I appreciate your altruism, you didn't have to use your personal money to cover for all the expenses. You could have used the funds Schale has set aside for these types of things."
"My bad. I'm still not used to being in a position of authority," Sensei admitted. "I'm more used to doing field work than paperwork. That includes expenses."
Yuuka smiled. "In any case, it is still a lot better than splurging it all on your hobbies."
"About that…"
Yuuka narrowed his eyes, causing Sensei to think that maybe it would have been better had he kept his mouth shut.

"I…I guess I could let this…Wait no! I'm not going to be bought by delicious food!" Yuuka exclaimed before eating another spoonful of the food. "But…So delicious…! You're unfair, Sensei!"
"I'm glad to see you're enjoying my cooking," Sensei said with a smile as he ate on the other side of the table.
"Just how much did you spend on all this, Sensei?" Yuuka murmured, referring to the ingredients.
"Not much, actually. I came across a sale on the marketplace earlier."
Yuuka was flabbergasted when Sensei showed her the receipt.
"So cheap! How?"
Sensei had a proud smirk as he explained. "If you've cooked for as long as I did, you would come to know how to elevate even sub-par ingredients to new culinary heights."
"You really love cooking, don't you?"
"It's more or less my hobby aside from cleaning or helping other people."
"Becoming a teacher must be a dream job for you, then."
Sensei smiled. "You could say that."
Sometime later, Schale opened a restaurant after Sensei approved of Yuuka's proposal. Said restaurant served gourmet level food at a reasonable cost for the student population, only hampered by its irregular operating hours due to Sensei's own busy schedule.
This pushed Kivotos' food industry into a renaissance.
It also resulted in the rise of food related crimes as many tried to kidnap Sensei in the hopes of finding out why his food was so delicious. A repeat offender would be a certain group of gourmet terrorists, though Sensei was quick to deny that Haruna and the others kidnapped him and that he willingly goes along with their requests to see him cook.
Though the constant presence of a bound president of Gehenna's School Lunch Club did put into question whether Sensei was being threatened or not.
"Haruna, you have got to stop dragging Fuuka with you while tied," Sensei said as he produced a knife from nowhere and cut Fuuka's restraints, with the latter all too used to this by now given her weary expression.
"You could have just asked…" Fuuka muttered after the tape on her mouth was removed. "I would have made time after I finished the preparations for tomorrow."
"Ah, but where would be the fun in that?" Haruna replied with a smile.
I'm so done with this. Sensei read Fuuka's expression, although he could also see a hint of a smile as she walked inside the kitchen.
"Sensei, I'd like to show you how much I've improved from last time!"
"Looking forward to it," Sensei said.
A small subset of the student population also go to Schale in the hopes of having Sensei help them improve their culinary skills, whether it be for making delicious, low calorie sweets, or to become a better housewife.
All of them have their own reasons, and Sensei never turned away any student that came seeking his guidance. It was, after all, part of his job as the only teacher in the entire city.

…
Shortly after they finished eating, Sensei's phone rang.
After checking who it was, Sensei answered the phone, "Is it that time of the week again, Rin?"
"I'm afraid so, Sensei. I hope I didn't catch you at a bad time," Rin replied from the other side.
"It's fine. I just finished eating lunch with a few students so I'll be able to head over right away."
Aside from his teaching role, being the Sensei of Schale also has some other duties that require him to take a more active role by taking command of a group of students. While he was understandably leery at the prospect of sending teenagers to battle, he eventually relented when faced with the eagerness of his students.
That, and the fact that their halos make them more durable than a normal person outside of Kivotos.
Probably even more durable than Sensei himself when he uses…Not that he would ever turn his blade against his students.
Sensei understood that while the residents of Kivotos are powerful and often get into fights, they are at their core still young teenage girls trying to create wonderful memories and pursuing their dreams.
The difficulty of the latter was something that Sensei understands as he too had his own dream. While being a Sensei was not what he had in mind when he first took his steps in pursuing his own dream, the role thrust upon him by the still-missing GSC President was yet another way to achieve his own dream.
After all, his wish was a world where everyone can smile.
"Binah is currently on another rampage. Sensei, I leave this to you," Rin said before she ended the call.
"Sensei, I've contacted the students that could help you against Binah," Arona, the SHITTIM chest A.I. and Sensei's ever-helpful assistant, said.
"You didn't have to, Arona. I could have handled this on my own."
"Sensei…We really need to have a talk about your tendency to rush into danger head-on without a plan," Arona reprimanded him. "At the very least, the situation is not so bad that you have to carry the burden by yourself."
"But being an adult means I have to protect my students, yes?"
"Sensei, do you want your students copying your reckless attitude?"
Sensei could imagine Arona staring at him with narrowed eyes. "...Good point."
As he said to Yuuka before, he was not used to being in a position where he commands authority. Sensei himself couldn't care less what happens to his life as long as he could help others, but now, he could not just throw away his life at the drop of the hat, or it would negatively affect more than just his well-being.
