Jack shivered, as he looked down into the black, icy water. Ianto was still down there...dead. Strapped into his seat...alone.

He didn't notice Andy Davidson come up behind him.

"They'll raise the car in the morning."

Jack stood statue still.

"Jack?"

Jack half turned. "Yeah."

"I'm sorry about Ianto."

Jack just nodded.

Rhys drove the car passed the garage at the bottom of Corporation Road and parked by the yellow police tape. Gwen was first out of the car.

"Jack! Jack?"

Andy signaled to the officer there, to let them thru.

Gwen was by the immortals side, placing a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry about Ianto, Jack."

He shrugged off her hand. "I couldn't save him. I tried. He...he told me to leave him." He turned tear filled eyes on Gwen. "He said, if I loved him, I'd leave him." He took a deep breath. "God, Gwen, he's still down there!"

"You can't stay here. Come back to ours..."

Jack cut her off. "No! I'm staying here!"

Gwen turned to Andy. "There's nothing you can do here, Jack." He said.

"I'm NOT leaving until the car is lifted out in the morning!"

Gwen checked her watch. "It's 11pm now. That won't be until it's light. If then."

"You never liked him." Jack whispered.

"What?"

"Ianto. You never liked him."

Gwen 1looked at Rhys. "I did!"

Jack shook his head. "I loved him!"

"Come on, big fella," said Rhys. "You can't stay here." He rubbed a hand over his face. "At least come sit in our car till morning, eh?"

Jack looked back at the car. "You try and drive off..."

"We won't!" Gwen told him.
