"Uzumaki Naruto vs Hyūga Hinata... BEGIN..." shouted Genma.
"Byakugan..." activating her doujutsu, Hinata went into her gentle fist stance.
"Let's start Hinata..." Naruto charged at Hinat straight forward for a taijutsu fight.
Hinata was surprised for a moment when Naruto didn't fire any ninjutsu on her except engaging straight to her. She blocked the punch and went for a palm thrust straight to Naruto's chest. Naruto saw through the attack and blocked the arms with his elbow and lifted his leg to kick her chin. Hinata tilted slightly backwards to evade the kick and crouched down for another palm thrust on his gut. Naruto's lifted leg came down on Hinata's incoming arm and forced himself to jump using her arm as a jump pad before swinging his leg again on Hinata's face. With a palm thrust, Hinata blocked the leg and quickly grabbing it, she slammed Naruto on the ground.
"Ouch..." Naruto quickly got up not wanting to give Hinata time for her tricks. Hinata panted slightly after the long 20 minutes taijutsu fight. She learned that Naruto always used more strength in his attacks, so she had to use more chakra to repel his attacks.
Naruto gave a slight pained look at Hinata and lifted his sleeve he found many black spots where his chakra points were located, "You were slightly blocking my chakra points every time you hit me..."
"But I can see every time I blocked them an orange chakra filled those points again... my gentle fist style is useless against a opponent like you Naruto-kun since you have two chakra sources..." explained Hinata.
"Haha... you are right... this is the reason I engaged into a taijutsu fight since Kyuubi's chakra will open my blocked tenketsu points every time... though I guess I will keep this for some other time..." Naruto rushed again towards Hinata with slightly orange chakra leaking from his body. Hinata smiled as she readied herself for the barrage of attacks. Naruto blocked every strike with orange chakra was blasting away from him.
====Meanwhile====
"Impressive... I never saw Hinata fight with so much fierceness and passion..." said Kurenai.
"She is holding her own against Naruto even if he is just holding with taijutsu..." said Kiba.
"It seems Naruto is testing himself or Hinata in taijutsu... if he can beat Hinata in taijutsu ir how much he lacks in taijutsu..." guessed Kakashi.
"I know what you are saying... since Naruto has an ocean amount of chakra Naruto relied on ninjutsu rather than taijutsu..." said Asuma.
"But I know Oni-chan is the strongest... he will win..." Taiyō said confidently.
"IT'S NOT ABOUT WINNING... IT'S ABOUT HOW YOUTHFUL THE FIGHT IS..." shouted Guy. Taiyō slightly got creeped out by Guy.
"Guy-sensei don't do that... you're creeping the poor girl..." scolded Tenten.
"Us too..." agreed Ino.
====Back To the Fight====
Naruto was again separated from Hinata with a smirk, "I don't know about others, but I call you a genius and you know why..." Hinata gently though she wore off almost, Naruto continued, "Ther moves you were using were the same moves Nier used with her sword..."
"I was... closely watching her moves since her moves were effective with your speed... I tried to put them as much as I can so I can counter you..." explained Hinata.
"Haha... perfect observation like an heiress but I have seen you and your strengths and weaknesses... now prepare for the next..." Naruto lifted his hand creating a Rasengan then wind chakra surrounded it like a ring, everyone was astonished that the jutsu created a mini storm in the arena then with everyone's surprise he throws the jutsu towards Hinata, Naruto spoke, "How are you going to dodge that..."
"Hakke Wansuteppu Kaiten (Eight Trigrams One-Step Rotation)..." Hinata spined for once and Naruto's jutsu touched her defense and changed its direction to hit at other side. Everyone watched wide eyed at the destruction of Naruto's as it destroyed the wall and cracked the gallery on that side with a giant deep crater in the arena.
Naruto was also surprised that Hinata changed its course since he made the jutsu thinking whenever it will touch it will explode, 'I guess that the ring is the problem.'
"Yeah... she was shift enough to spin and touch the jutsu craftily to change its course... it seems she knew it would blast whenever the thing would collide... and you said first that girl was shy, self-doubted and lacks will..." said Minato.
'She changed... she lacked the fierceness when she left the academy...' thought Naruto, "It seems you created your version of Kaiten (Rotation) just to avoid one-time attacks or especially my attacks Hinata..." Naruto said out loud.
"I was trying to make something from my incapabilities... I recreated the jutsu for my advantage which were my weakness before..." said Hinata.
"That's great but let's end this... Raiton: Furasshusuteppu (Lightning Release: Flash Step)..." said Naruto. Hinata already took out a bunch of explosive tags and throw them away all over the arena. The same moment she got a kick followed by a punch then Naruto grabbed her leg, and she was spun around 2 times before thrown away into a wall.
"Now it's time to finish this..." Naruto learned from Minato that Hinata has feelings for him, and she wanted to get acknowledged by him and he started to respect her prowess. Though he didn't want to hurt Hinata much he needs to finish the match quickly, so he created a Rasengan to end the match. Hinata noticed that and tried to get up by holding to get up by holding Naruto's jacket and her Byakugan deactivated due to exhaustion.
"You are extremely strong Hinata..." Naruto was about to slam the Rasengan but he saw Hinata's free palm was going to strike his main tenketsu point. He was blasted the moment he got a good distance from Hinata.
"I-I am sorry Naruto-kun... Hakke Kūshō (Eight Trigrams Air Palm)..." Hinata shot a blast of air where Naruto should be. She thought she sent Naruto where she wanted him and made s hand seal to explode the paper tags. Though Hinata was surprised when none of tags exploded, and she activated her Byakugan to see what happened which made her eyes widen. Hinata quickly took her stance as a plume of smoke surrounded her revealing over 100 Bushin (clones) charging at the Hyūga girl, "Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō (Protective Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)..." standing straight, Hinata started to thrust her palms on Naruto's Bushin (clones) to dispel them. Hinata dispelled every last one of Naruto's Bushin (clones) with her defensive style but fell on her knees due to extreme exhaustion.
"Hinata let's top this... you are too exhausted to get up..." said Naruto.
"I-I won't... won't give up... I won't back... back off... I'll fight... I'll fight until the... very end..." Hinat barely said between her panting, "Because that's my nindo... my ninja way..."
Naruto smiled knowing someone made his way, their own way inspired by his. Hinata tried to get up for a last chance palm strike but the moment she struck Naruto, he blasted into lightning electrifying her. Due to her exhaustion and the shock, she lost her consciousness and fell.
A puff of Smoke appeared in front of Hinata revealing Naruto, "I guess she miscalculated or didn't pay attention to the fact that I switch with a Bushin (clones)..."
'Now that's a spirit of fighting... making him acknowledge you with everything you have... beauty and strength to stand beside the man you want...' thought Genma, before he announced, "Hyūga Hinata is unable to battle... Uzumaki Naruto wins and qualifies for the finals..."
"Hinata did very good... with a year of experience she could be a chunin..." said Kushina.
"Yes..." agreed Rasa, "Even though she fought well she missed many things in the battleground... she was so focused on her enemy that she forgot her surroundings... maybe in six months or a year she will make it..."
====Meanwhile====
"I'm very proud of Hinata... she exceeded my furthest expectations..." said Kurenai proudly.
"I'm also surprised... when you first told me about her, I didn't expect this much..." said Kakashi.
"Hinata is really changed in some last months... definitely she isn't the shy type anymore..." said Kiba.
"Naruto is getting girls like pieces of cake..." said Ino.
"Oni-chan is so cool..." said Taiyō, "But I don't think Nier nee-chan will be too happy about the girls he is attracting..."
"Is she dating Naruto?" asked Nier.
"He said that he'll ask after the chunin exams..." answered Taiyō.
====Meanwhile====
"Fight against Hinata was painful for Naruto I guess..." said Shikamaru.
"I think so too..." agreed Haku.
"That girl was lucky that he didn't go destructive on her..." added Temari.
"That's who Naruto is... he was testing the Hyūga to see how much she could do... I think she exceeded Naruto's expectations..." Nier said.
"Nier... what are you doing here?" asked Haku.
"To watch who will win this... I mean it's pretty clear that Naruto will, but I want to see how he struggled..." answered.
"But what about your injuries?" asked Haku.
"Tsunade-sama's healing is the best in all the nations... how did your match with the Uchiha go?" asked Nier.
"I showed him hell with some ghosts... he got arrested but some rouge ninja managed to get him... that Danzo guy died by his brother Itachi and he was accepted in Konoha again..." answered Haku.
"You should have killed the Uchiha..." said Nier darkly.
"I could but I didn't want to... I wanted him to suffer for the rest of his life because he insulted Kaa-san..." said Haku.
"You're back Nier-chan..." said Naruto, blushing when he final realized what he called Nier.
Nier blushed when naruto called him by an affectionate name, "I-I wan-wanted to s-see you w-win the-the whole thing s-so I-I came here..."
Naruto chuckled at Nier, "You are every cute when you are nervous Nier-chan..." Nier blushed even harder.
"NOW FOR THE THIRD ROUND OF THE FINALS... YUKI HAKU AND JUUGO PLEASE COME DOWN TO THE ARENA..." shouted Genma.
"I quit... my mission was to watch over Uzumaki Naruto until Danzo died and since he is no longer a threat, I have completed my mission..." said Juugo.
"Come on Juugo I wanted to fight you since you can't use senjutsu... a fight between sage's..." encouraged Naruto.
"Maybe next time somewhere sometimes else... our paths will cross in the future again..." said Juugo.
"Well since Juugo quitted Haku qualifies for the final round where he will fight against Naruto... both fighters come down..." said Genma.
"This time victory will be mine... Otōto..." said Haku.
"i won't go easy on you even if you are my Nii-chan..." said Naruto.
"If you do then you will lose... I have got some new tricks under my sleeve for you..." said Haku, naruto just smirked.
"Okay fighters... BEGIN..." shouted Genma. Naruto closed his eyes for a moment and orange shade came over his eyes and opening his eye, he revealed horizontal bar like pupils.
"It was new... you said you needed time to enter in sage mode..." said Haku.
"Maybe the grass, leaves, and rubbles are my Bushin (clones) gathering sage chakra for a long time... or maybe I learned something when I was in a coma..." said Naruto cryptically.
"You sure are full of surprises..." Haku took out two scrolls and opened them revealing two kanji of water, he pushed chakra in the kanji unleashing two fountains of water.
"Water... I forgot my raincoat at home..." said Naruto.
"This water can pierce your skin... Hijutsu: Sensatsu Suishō (Secret Technique: Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death)..." called out Haku.
"Fūton: Daitoppa Kaiten no Jutsu (Wind Release: Great Rotation Breakthrough)..." Naruto gathered wind in his lungs and spun on his toes releasing wind in 360m degrees to cover his back. The jutsu looked like a derived version of Hyūga clan rotation but the wind scattered outwards to push the water needles.
"You used Hinata's version of rotation to create that jutsu... very good Otōto... Hijutsu: Senbon no Kori Hari (Secret Technique: Thousand Ice Needles)..." said Haku.
"Kaminari no Sōba (Dual Blades of Thunder)..." two blades of lightning formed in Naruto's hands like dual swords (search up if you don't know), and he slashed all the ice needles. T
he moment he stopped the last needle, Haku came at him with Kubikiribōchō and he blocked with the dual blades. Haku continuously tried to strike Naruto with Kubikiribōchō but Naruto is fast enough to block with his dual blades. Naruto added more chakra in his blades and strike it full force against Kubikiribōchō, cracking it. Then with another quick strike he broke on third of Kubikiribōchō. Not panicking, Haku coated the remaining part of the blade with wind chakra, shunshined behind Naruto and slashed him at the back. Naruto quickly moved away to avoid a deep cut.
"Thanks for the blood..." Haku said as the blade started to restore using Naruto's blood, then he rushed at Naruto.
Naruto activated Furasshusuteppu (Flash Step) quickly and disappeared from being near Haku and reappeared at the wall, then disabled his Kaminari no Sōba (Dual Blades of Thunder), "Katon: Karyū Endan (Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet)..." Naruto fired the jutsu with the necessary hand seals.
Haku placed Kubikiribōchō on his back and formed a single hand seal and slammed his hands on the water, "Suiton: Mizuheki (Water Release: Water Wall)..."
The collision of both jutsu created vapor blocking the view over the fighters. Haku didn't get any time but spun around to block an incoming hand with a kunai.
"You surely became faster without your ice mirrors..." said Naruto.
"Because it's not my only strong jutsu now... it's my one of the strongest jutsu..." said Haku. Naruto smirked and engaged in a taijutsu battle with Haku.
"ARRGHHHH..." Naruto infused chakra on his hand to punch Haku with full speed.
"Take this..." Haku's arm coated with ice coated with ice chakra creating a gauntlet he went to punch Naruto with his all.
The collision of the punches created a chakra blast with both genins being forced backwards. Haku's ice gauntlet broke but managed to land his legs twitching in pain with his bleeding arm. Naruto also landed on his legs and felt some bones crack though he didn't feel much pain due to his sage mode also it healed with Kyuubi's chakra. He didn't waste any time and launched himself at his adopted brother to continue the fight. Haku smirked painfully but engaged in a taijutsu fight again. The hand-to-hand combat lasted for 20 more minutes until both of them panting heavily.
"Your fighting style... it's almost the Uzumaki kenjutsu style without any weapons..." said Naruto.
"Indeed..." Haku's face had some cracks and small chunks of ice were falling from there, "It was before Senju Hashirama's time... the Yuki clan and the Uzumaki clan used to be enemies... once the Yuki clan fought with all it's might against the Uzumaki clan and lost but gained their secret kenjutsu style scrolls... but the Yuki clan weren't masters of kenjutsu they didn't have metal for forging weapons so they derived the kenjutsu style into a taijutsu style... when the Uzumaki clan learned it they attacked the Yuki clan and took the taijutsu style... Kushina-sensei had the scrolls, so I have learned it..."
"I never heard this story before..." said Naruto.
"Neither me... maybe your Kaa-san thought it wasn't some issue to give importance to, so she didn't tell..." guessed Minato.
Naruto nodded at the explanation though he had nothing against it. Naruto then suddenly poofed into smoke and Haku's body turned to ice and broke into pieces.
