AN: Not mine.
I don't know how visiting other common rooms would work, but it's always polite to knock, in my opinion.
Enjoy the finale to this little arc!
Pansy Parkinson stood in front of the entrance to the Gryffindor common room, her stomach in her throat as she hesitated to knock. She had agreed to Draco's invitation to hang out with him and the Golden Trio, but now that the moment had arrived, a wave of nerves washed over her.
Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Pansy raised her hand and rapped lightly on the door. After a moment, it swung open to reveal Hermione Granger, who greeted her with a warm smile.
"Pansy, come in," Hermione said, gesturing for her to enter.
Pansy followed Hermione inside, her eyes scanning the room nervously as she spotted Harry, Ron, and Draco gathered around a table, engaged in conversation. The atmosphere was relaxed, but Pansy couldn't shake the feeling of being out of place.
As she took a seat beside Draco, Pansy felt the knot of anxiety tighten in her stomach. Would they accept her presence, or would she remain an outsider in their midst?
Draco sensed her discomfort and reached out, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. "You'll be fine, Pansy," he whispered, his voice filled with encouragement.
Drawing strength from Draco's words, Pansy forced herself to relax, determined to give this newfound friendship a chance. As the evening wore on, she found herself gradually warming up to the Golden Trio, sharing laughter and stories with them as the initial tension melted away.
By the end of the night, Pansy realized that perhaps hanging out with the Golden Trio wasn't as daunting as she had feared. In fact, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to bridge the gap between their worlds and forge new connections that went beyond the confines of their past.
