Chapter 59: Another New Chapter
Santana's POV
*Saturday 2nd March 2024*
Brittany and I are spending the afternoon with our friends so our kids are with my sister for the day. Tina has gathered all of us girls together today for a dress fitting to see if any of our bridesmaids' dresses need adjusting. Her wedding to Mike is fast approaching so she wanted to get us all together to go through a few things before the big day. We've just finished eating lunch together so now we're about to start on the dress fitting.
"Ok we'll have everyone change into their dresses and go through each person one at a time to see what adjustments we need to make" Tina says.
"I'm not 100% sure it was a good idea for us to eat before trying on clothes because I'm starting to feel a little bloated. My dress probably won't fit me right now" Brittany says.
"I'm sure it'll be fine; I don't think it will have changed your weight all that much right now" Tina says.
"Hopefully not" Brittany replies. "Ok, let's get this show on the road" she says enthusiastically.
We all get changed into our bridesmaids' dresses and go through each one to see how it's looking. Quinn's dress was absolutely fine on her so we didn't need to spend much time with that. Brittany's dress was also fine for her so we moved quickly onto Mercedes and then me.
"Considering Mercedes will have given birth sometime between now and before the wedding then we'll be having another dress fitting anyway so we can adjust hers but apart from that, I think everyone else should be fine" Tina says.
"My dress might actually need adjusted before the wedding" I point out.
"Why's that?" Tina questions me.
"Um…" I don't know what to say without saying I might be pregnant by then.
"Santana's weight has been fluctuating a little since her last pregnancy with Xavier so she just isn't sure it'll stay the same throughout" Brittany shrugs.
"Exactly" I nod, looking at Brittany to thank her for saving me.
"Ok, we can sort that out if it comes to it" Tina smiles. "Apart from that, I think the rest of the dresses are all fine" she adds.
"Yeah, they seem to be so that's one less thing to stress about, Tina" Brittany reassures her.
"Yeah, thank goodness" Tina smiles.
"So how is Mike and his groomsmen getting on with their tuxedos?" I ask curiously.
"He says everything is going to plan but I don't know" Tina says unsure.
"Sam told me their fittings were going well so I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure everything is fine with that as well" Mercedes says.
"Yeah, I think it will be fine" I smile.
"So, do you want to try on your wedding dress now Tina?" Brittany asks.
"Yeah, maybe I should and you can all tell me what you think" Tina says.
"Sounds like a plan" Mercedes smiles.

Brittany and I have just gotten home from hanging out with our friends. It was a fun day but we're so glad to be home now and to be with our children. We're just catching up with my sister right now to see how the kids were and to see how she's doing.
"Jaxon told me you were going to get him a dog sometime but surely not. I'm sure Santana Lopez doesn't do pets" my sister states.
"Very funny but it is true" I shrug.
"Yeah, it is true. We are looking into getting the kids a dog but we've told them it won't be right away. We need to get a few things in order first" Brittany says.
"Our schedules are just too mixed up at the moment so we barely have enough time to parent our children never mind trying to housetrain a puppy" I state.
"Fair enough" Carly smiles.
"Anyway, we should let you go now so you can enjoy some of the afternoon to yourself" Brittany smiles.
"Jessica and I are actually going out to dinner tonight so it would be good to get home and organised before that" Carly says.
"A little romantic date, is it?" Brittany teases.
"Something like that" Carly says blushing.
"You should make the most of it because once you have kids, the romantic dates are very few and far between" I say.
"Oh, come on, I wouldn't quite say that. We still have dates and stuff, and we're still romantic at times" Brittany states.
"Yeah, but it's more planned these days so it's not as spontaneous" I point out.
"Well, I still enjoy myself no matter what, even if you don't" Brittany shrugs.
"No, I do like it" I assure her.
"I think I would stop where you are Santana because the hole you're digging is getting deeper" my sister tells me.
"Yeah, good idea" I nod. I really didn't mean to offend my wife but I think I sorta did.
"I will head off now but it was fun hanging out with the kids so I'd love to do it again some time" Carly smiles.
"I am sure they would love it too so we'll sort something out" Brittany smiles at my sister.
"Awesome" Carly nods. "Ok, see you all later" she adds.
"Bye Carly" Brittany says.
"I'll walk you to the door" I say as I walk with my sister.
"Ok" Carly smiles at me.
"Well have fun at date night and we'll talk tomorrow or something" I say as I hug my sister goodbye.
"Thanks" Carly says.
"See you soon" I say as we pull out of the hug.
"Bye" Carly says and then leaves.
"So…just you and me right now since the boys are napping" I say to my wife.
"That is correct so we should hang out" Brittany smiles.
"Sounds good" I reply as we make our way to the living room to relax.
"I am so excited for Mike and Tina to get married because I love a good wedding" Brittany says as we sit down and I place my legs over her lap.
"Yeah, I am looking forward to it as well. It feels like everything is happening all at once now. Not so long ago none of us were married or had children and now Mike and Tina are the only ones left to get married, and Mercedes is about to have a baby and Quinn might too" I say.
"I know, it's so surreal how quickly life is going" Brittany replies.
"It is but so amazing at the same time" I reply.
"Exactly" Brittany smiles.

*Saturday 9th March 2024*
Today we are doing something exciting. Mercedes and Sam have finally welcomed their baby into the world so we're going to meet their new daughter for the first time. I am so excited that one of our best friends have had a baby because it means Jaxon and Xavier have more little people to play with.
Brittany, the kids and me have all just arrived at the hospital so we're making our way inside. By the sounds of things from our group chat, Quinn and James are already there along with Mike and Tina. Technically we would have been there sooner but Jaxon decided he didn't want to eat his lunch so it took some time trying to persuade him to eat.
"Hey everyone" Brittany says as we walk into the room.
"Hey" Mercedes smiles.
"The kids and us are all so excited to meet the baby so where is she" I say excitedly.
"She's right here. Everyone, this is Brooke" Sam states as he walks towards us, placing the baby in Tina's arms to hold.
"She's so cute" I say.
"I see my future daughter in law right there" Brittany teases. "I can definitely see Jaxon or Xavier's future wife sitting in front of me" she adds.
"Um…Mike and I might have children so Brooke could be with one of them" Tina points out.
"Fair enough but the point is, I definitely like that our friendship group is growing the next generation and I can't wait for all of our children to be all friends or more" Brittany says.
"Yeah, that would be cute" I agree.
"Ok, who wants to hold Brooke next?" Tina asks.
"Me please" Brittany says excitedly.
"Ok" Tina laughs as she places the baby in Brittany's arms.
"Boys, this is Brooke. A new little friend" I tell my children as we walk over to Brittany.
"Baby?" Jaxon smiles at me.
"Yeah, she is a baby right now" I smile back at my son.
"You two were that small once upon a time" Brittany says to our children but they just look at her weirdly, causing us to laugh.
"Play?" Jaxon asks me.
"She's a little bit young to play at the moment, sweetheart" I tell Jaxon.
"I'll play with you if you want buddy" Mike says to Jaxon.
"Ok" Jaxon says excitedly.
"You could show uncle Mike your new toy train" I tell Jaxon.
"Oh yeah, I would love to see that" Mike smiles at Jaxon as they sit down together. "Xavier, do you want to play too?" he asks.
"I think he does" I say amusingly at Xavier's cute little excited face.
"Come on then" Mike smiles as Tina lifts him over to Mike to join him and Jaxon.
Mike and my children continue to play together for a while as the rest of us take turns in holding Brooke for the first time. Brittany gave Brooke to me and then Quinn and James got to hold her. Brooke is now back with Mercedes so we're all chatting amongst ourselves, catching up and just celebrating the arrival of the baby. I've kinda noticed my best friend isn't really joining in, she's just sitting in the corner by herself so I want to make sure she's ok.
"Are you ok?" I ask my best friend.
"Not really" Quinn admits quietly.
"What's going on?" I ask concerned.
"I'm super happy for Mercedes and everything but I'm just worried this might not happen for me and I might not ever have a baby. I know we're going through the surrogacy process at the moment but what if it doesn't work?" Quinn says worriedly.
"This is going to happen for you Quinn, we're not going to give up" I assure her. "I'm not saying it'll be easy and definitely work out the first time but we'll make it happen eventually. I promise" I add.
"I appreciate what you're saying but I'm kinda pinning all of my hopes on this because I don't know I could afford to do this again" she points out.
"We're going to make this work. If it comes to having to do this again then we're all going to chip in. None of your friends or family want you to miss out on the chance of becoming a mom so we're going to help" I assure her.
"I appreciate it but like I keep saying, this isn't just a few dollars we're talking about. It's thousands so I cannot take that from you all" Quinn states.
"Look, let's just take it a step at a time and see where we are with this process and then we'll worry about later" I say.
"Ok" Quinn sighs.
"What are you two whispering about?" Sam asks, interrupting us.
"Nothing, really" I shrug.
"They're probably talking about me" Brittany shrugs.
"Why would they be talking about you?" Mercedes asks Brittany amused.
"Because I am awesome and I'm the glue that holds this whole group together. Without me not all of you would be friends" Brittany smiles.
"Yes, it was Brittany we were talking about" I say sarcastically.
"Was it really?" Brittany asks me.
"No, but anyway. It doesn't matter now because it looks like Brooke is free again so may I get a chance to hold her again?" I ask, changing the subject, hoping we don't need to detail what we really were discussing.
"Yeah, of course you can" Mercedes smiles at me.

After spending some time at the hospital with our friends, we all decided to go home and let Mercedes and Sam have some time on their own with their new baby. As soon as Brittany and I got home with the kids, we put them down for a nap while we did some household chores. It was soon dinner time after that so we all ate together and spent some time as a family. Brittany and I have just got the boys settled in bed so we're now about to hang out together.
"So, at the risk of being nosy, what were you and Quinn whispering about at the hospital?" Brittany asks me curiously as we get into bed.
"We were just talking about the surrogacy. Quinn was getting worried and upset that she might never have a baby. She was obviously happy for Mercedes and Sam but it made her slightly upset because there is a possibility that that won't happen for her" I explain.
"Ok. So, you weren't talking about me?" Brittany asks.
"No, honey" I smile.
"Is it bad that I wish you were?" she asks.
"What do you mean?" I say confused.
"I kinda like the thought of you talking about me and me always being on your mind" Brittany admits.
"Well, you are always on my mind. Like I am always thinking about you because I am so madly in love with you" I smile. "In that moment though, my best friend just needed me for a second" I add.
"Ok, fair enough" Brittany smiles.
"If I'm being honest, I'm with you right now and I'm even still thinking about you" I point out.
"What you thinking about?" Brittany asks.
"Lots of things actually" I admit. "You're my everything so I'm thinking about lots of different things about you. You're like my best friend who I love hanging out with right now but at the same time, you're also my wife who I think is amazingly sexy" I start.
"Ok, continue" Brittany smirks at me.

*Wednesday 20th March 2024*
It's been a busy day at work so far but thankfully Brittany and I are getting a chance to sit down together to eat lunch. We seem to be in a good routine now with working and childcare which is great but the slight downside to that is that we're spending a lot more time at work which just means we get more involved in things than we'd usually like to so we're always busy.
"I am so hungry right now" I say as my wife and I begin eating.
"I know, me too" Brittany agrees.
"I think we've used all of our energy already this morning that we're ready to refuel" I laugh.
"Yeah, it seems like it" Brittany smiles.
"How are you getting on with work anyway?" I ask my wife.
"I am really busy but I do think I'm getting on with things which is great" she tells me.
"I have to agree with that because I am rushed off my feet but I have also accomplished a lot this morning" I say.
"Hey, can we make a deal, babe?" Brittany asks me, turning to look at me.
"Depends what it is" I tease.
"I'll be on diaper duty all week for both boys if you give me a back massage tonight because my back has been bothering me all day" she replies.
"That can be arranged" I smile.
"Thank you" Brittany smiles back.
As soon as Brittany and I are finished work for the day, we rush out of our office to go and pick our children up. The best part of our day is getting to be with our children so we didn't want to waste any more time without them. We then all head home together and get to spend some quality time as a family. We've all finished eating dinner now and have been getting settled for the night but I think it's about time my children went to sleep.
"It's bedtime for you two now" I tell my children.
"Mommy and I will read to you before you go to sleep" Brittany says.
"I pick?" Jaxon asks.
"Yes, you can pick out the book if you want" I smile at my son.
"Ok" Jaxon smiles back at me.
"Alrighty then, let's get to bed" I say as I scoop Xavier up in my arms while Brittany picks up Jaxon and we make our way upstairs.
"Ok, Jax. What are we reading?" Brittany asks Jaxon as they look through the books on his bookcase.
"This one mommy" Jaxon says as he hands Brittany a book.
"Ok, let's do it" Brittany replies as we all make our way over to Jaxon's bed.
Brittany tucks Jaxon into bed while Xavier and I sit down on the armchair. As soon as Jaxon is settled in bed, Brittany begins the book. Xavier falls asleep almost instantly in my arms but it takes a little longer for Jaxon to fall asleep. Once Jaxon is fully asleep, Brittany and I kiss him goodnight before carefully making our way out of the room with Xavier in my arms. We take Xavier to his room and place him in his bed before kissing him goodnight and then quietly leaving the room.
"You and me now" Brittany smiles at me.
"That is correct so let's go" I say as I take my wife's hand and lead her to our bedroom.
"We might as well be more comfortable and change out of these clothes" Brittany says as she shuts the door behind us.
"Good idea" I smile as we begin undressing. "Ok, lie down" I instruct my wife.
"Huh?" she replies confused.
"Lie face down on the bed please" I tell Brittany.
"Honey, I'm in the middle of changing" Brittany laughs.
"I know which is why I need you to lie down before you put your pajama shirt on so I can give you this back massage" I state.
"Oh, I forgot about that" Brittany says in realisation.
"Your back can't be that sore then" I tease.
"No, it is. I just totally forgot I asked for a massage" she tells me.
"Lie down on the bed then, babe" I smile.
"Ok" Brittany says before doing as she's told.
"Do you want me to use some oils or just my hands?" I ask as I get onto the bed, perched slightly on top of her so I can reach her properly.
"Just your hands will be fine" she tells me.
"Ok" I say as I lean forward and begin gently massaging her back, paying particular attention to the areas that hurt the most.
"That feels better already" Brittany says surprised.
"You sound surprised, did you not think I was any good at massages?" I tease.
"No, it's not that. I just wasn't sure if anything would help my back because you know it's always bothered me over the years" she says.
"Well, if this helps then I am available to do this more regularly for you" I say.
"I might just take you up on that offer again some time" Brittany says.
"Like I say, I would be happy to do this for you any time you want" I tell her honestly. I spend the next 5 minutes massaging her back before deciding to mix things up a bit.
"Babe…" Brittany says sceptically.
"Yeah" I reply.
"That's not my back. That is too low to be my back" Brittany states.
"Yeah, I know" I say, smirking to myself.
"Is someone getting in the sexy mood tonight?" she says as she turns around so she's facing me and I'm now straddling her front.
"Yeah, I got to say that I am" I smile.
"Come here" Brittany smirks as she pulls me down towards her so we can kiss.
"Oh, god" I moan as our kissing heats up.
"You are so sexy when you moan" Brittany says in between kisses.
"You're sexy too" I mumble as I struggle to tear myself away from my wife.

*Wednesday 10th April 2024*
Quinn and I are currently hanging out and just catching up with each other. The surrogacy process seems to moving on nicely at the moment which is good. Quinn and James had their appointments with the doctor and they went well and I've had a lot of appointments myself. The implantation of the embryos has already happened so it's really just a waiting game now to see if it's worked or not. I really hope it has because I want Quinn to have a baby so badly because it breaks my heart that she can't do it on her own.
"Do you think we should draw up some paperwork just so we all know where we stand?" I ask.
"I mean technically we should but I trust you, Santana" Quinn smiles. "I know you're not going to run away with our baby" she jokes.
"No, of course I won't" I smile. "We've never done something like this before though. This is a big deal so we need to protect ourselves because sometimes it can be hard working with people you love" I add.
"I know but we're different because we've always had a special bond as best friends. Plus, you're well accustomed to working with people you love. I mean you and your wife work together" Quinn points out.
"That is true" I nod.
"We can draw up some paperwork if you want just to be on the safe side but I am sure everything will be absolutely fine" Quinn says.
"We'll get that sorted soon" I smile.
"So, when do you think you should take a test to see if you're pregnant?" Quinn asks curiously.
"I don't know" I say unsure.
"Should we do one now just to see?" Quinn asks excitedly.
"I can take a test but please don't be disheartened if it's negative because it doesn't mean it won't happen. It's probably just too early to tell" I say.
"Ok" Quinn nods.
"I've got a few tests upstairs so let's go" I say as we make our way upstairs.
"I'll wait here and you go in there and do what you need to do" Quinn says.
"Ok" I nod before heading into the master bathroom. I do what I need to do and a minute or so later, I leave the bathroom.
"Do we have to wait a few minutes?" Quinn asks me.
"Yeah" I smile.
"So, when are Brittany and the kids due home?" Quinn asks, making conversation as we nervously wait.
"I don't really know" I chuckle. "It could be any time from now because they didn't say what they were going to get up to. All Britt said was that she wanted to spend some time hanging out with them doing something fun" I add.
"That's cute" Quinn smiles.
"Yeah, they are a cute little group together" I smile back.
"So, how long left to wait?" Quinn asks me.
"We could probably look now" I say as I turn the test over.
"So?" Quinn asks nervously.
"It's positive" I smile brightly.
"Are you serious?" Quinn asks excitedly.
"Yeah, I'm serious. Come here" I say as I open my arms up so I can hug my best friend.
"This is so amazing, thank you for doing this" Quinn says as we hug tightly.

Quinn left to go home not long before Brittany and the boys got back. My wife and I spent some time with our children before we all had dinner together. It was then time to read the boys a bedtime story and put them to bed. They're both finally asleep now so Brittany and I have just finished getting ready for bed and have slipped under the covers, ready to spend a little time together one on one watching some TV or something.
"So, how has your day been?" Brittany asks as we finally get a chance to catch up with each other.
"It's been good. I actually took a pregnancy test today" I tell Brittany.
"Wow…ok" Brittany says shocked.
"It was positive" I say.
"Well, that's great" she says as she hugs me, not really letting me tell by the expression on her face how she really feels.
"Yeah, I think it is" I say. "So, how do you feel about it?" I ask as we pull out of the hug.
"I feel ok because it's an amazing thing you're doing for Quinn and let's be honest, it was a big possibility that it would work out" she smiles.
"It's ok to feel a little weird, I'd understand" I assure her.
"Honestly, I feel fine about it. It was taking me some time to get my head around things but it's different now. I'm coming to terms with it. Also, it's really not about me. It's about Quinn and James getting a baby so I do need to look past my feelings and focus on the important part which is Quinn getting to become a mother" Brittany states.
"Yeah, I am happy about her finally getting the chance to become a mother because it's what she's wanted for some time now" I smile.

*Friday 12th April 2024*
Jaxon and Xavier are spending the night with my parents because tonight Brittany and I are hanging out with our friends again. We haven't really spoken to them that much recently with everything going on so we wanted to get some time together again. Mike and Tina have been busy with last minute wedding things, Mercedes and Sam have been busy with their new baby daughter and Brittany, Quinn, James and myself have all been involved in the surrogacy so our quality time with friends has been limited.
"Ok, how do I look?" Brittany asks me as she walks into the bedroom.
"You look amazing" I smile.
"Thanks" Brittany smiles back.
"So, are we ready to go now?" I ask.
"We are so let's go" Brittany replies as she grabs my hand and leads me out of the bedroom and downstairs.
"I might as well drive since I'm not drinking tonight" I say as I pick up my car keys.
"Are you sure because I can drive if you want. I'm not really planning on having alcohol tonight either" Brittany shrugs.
"It's ok but thank you" I smile at my wife.
As soon as we lock up the house, we head off to the restaurant in my car. It doesn't take us too long to arrive so as soon as we're parked up, we go inside. As usual all of our friends are already there and seated before us. No one really minds though because it's kinda our thing. It's not normal if Brittany and I are there before the others and it's also kinda our friend's thing to be there before my wife and I usually are.
"So, what is going on with everyone?" Tina asks curiously after the waiter takes our food and drinks order.
"Just living our lives really and enjoying our new addition to our family" Mercedes smiles.
"Yeah, it is really good to finally have our daughter here" Sam agrees.
"I'm sure it is because it must be exciting for you" Tina says.
"Yeah, it really is" Mercedes nods.
"Yeah, kids are the best" Brittany smiles.
"What about you two, anything exciting happening in your life?" Mike says to Brittany and I.
"Actually, I'm pregnant" I say.
"Oh my god, that's great" Mercedes smiles.
"Yeah, congratulations" Tina says.
"Wait a second though, it's not mine" Brittany says, interrupting the congratulations.
"Excuse me" Mercedes says, glaring at me.
"You cheated on my best friend?" Tina asks, glaring at me also.
"No, it's not like that" I laugh.
"Yeah, that came out differently than what I meant" Brittany laughs.
"I am pregnant and no it's not Brittany's baby but it's also not mine" I say. "I am going to be a surrogate for Quinn and James" I explain.
"Really?" Tina says surprised.
"Yeah" I smile.
"Well, that's amazing" Mercedes says.
"We knew you were looking into surrogacy and Santana did suggest the idea that she could do it but we didn't realise it was a sure thing. We assumed when you didn't say anything further about it then it wasn't suitable" Tina states.
"Yeah, exactly" Mercedes adds.
"We didn't want to keep a big thing like this from any of you because you're our best friends but we had to make sure it was the best decision all round for everyone before we started telling everyone else" Quinn says.
"We get that, don't worry" Tina smiles.
"So, you're fully into the process then?" Mercedes asks.
"Yeah, I am actually pregnant right now with their baby so it has worked out" I say.
"I know we maybe should have said we were going to do this before Santana even got pregnant but we didn't want to tempt fate or for us to say something and it ended up not working out" Quinn says.
"I can understand that" Tina says.
"You know how badly I took the news about not being able to be pregnant so we wanted to make sure this was going to work and make sure Santana was pregnant before we told anyone. The only people who knew before now were James, myself and, Santana and Brittany" Quinn says.
"So, no one else at all knows?" Mike asks surprised.
"Nope, no one" Brittany nods.
"It'll be an interesting conversation with all of our parents though" I say with a chuckle.
"Yeah, I mean my parents will probably be thrilled James and I are having a baby but I do wonder about your parents Santana" Quinn says.
"I know" I laugh. "They will be happy for you and James on the whole but I can just hear my mom right now. I know she'll mean well but she'll be questioning me about it all" I add.
"It is a great thing you're doing to help Quinn and James become parents so I'm sure everyone will come to terms with it eventually" Mercedes smiles.
"I hope so" I nod.
"Speaking of having children, how are the new parents?" Brittany asks as she looks at Mercedes and Sam.
"Becoming parents has definitely been an adjustment for us. We knew things would change but we didn't realise just this much" Mercedes admits.
"You seemed to be coping well the last time we seen you all" I say.
"I mean we are, it's just different for us than we thought. It's a good different though" Sam points out.
"Well, the good thing is that you have your friends to help you if you need it" I smile.
"Exactly" Tina smiles.
"Also, I am sure Jaxon and Xavier would love to have a playdate together soon with Brooke so that will be fun" Brittany says.
"Sounds good" Mercedes smiles.
After a fun night hanging out with our friends and having some great food, it was time for all of us to go home. We did think about continuing the party by going out for some drinks after dinner but I think everyone was just a bit tired for that. It was great catching up with everyone but we have all been really busy recently so our energy just wasn't there. Between work, raising children, planning weddings and beginning surrogacy, it's all just left us feeling exhausted so we decided this time we'll go home but next time we'll make a point of making the night more special and plan things in advance better so we can actually have a proper night out.
"So…just you and me alone right now" I say with a smirk across my face as Brittany and I get home.
"That is correct" Brittany smiles.
"Shall we make the most of this time alone?" I ask my wife.
"I think we should so what shall we do?" Brittany asks.
"I know exactly what I want to do so you better have plenty of energy because you're going to need it" I tease.
"Hmm…I wonder what you might have in mind" Brittany smirks at me.
"I think you know exactly what I want right now" I tell her as I take her hands in mine and pull her closer to me.
"My thoughts are that you want to have sex with your wife right now" Brittany says.
"You know me so well" I smirk.
"Let's go then" my wife smirks back as she leans down and picks me up bridal style.
"Ok, that was sexy" I tell her as I put my arms around her neck to hold on.
"If you think that was sexy, wait until you see what happens next" Brittany says with a wink.
"I don't know if I can wait so you better get me upstairs immediately" I say.

"You look deep in thought, are you ok?" Brittany asks me curiously as we lie in bed together.
"Honestly, I am starting to get a little apprehensive about everyone knowing I'm pregnant. I mean don't get me wrong I am super happy this is working out because I want to help Quinn but something is making me nervous" I admit.
"Ok" Brittany nods, following what I'm saying.
"Like seriously, how are our parents going to react?" I say. "They're going to find it weird I'm having a baby but not keeping it. I just know my mom is going to worry about me because she loves me and she'll be concerned that I might get too attached."
"It might take a little time for them to adjust to the situation but they'll be ok with it. Quinn has been your best friend since you were young so your parents know her well. They'll want the best for her as well" Brittany says.
"I hope so" I say.
"It's going to be ok in the end, don't worry" she replies.
"Do you think your parents will be ok with it?" I ask curiously.
"Yeah of course" Brittany nods. "They might be a little surprised when we tell them but they'll understand. Like we're all parents here so we all know what it's like to want a family. I mean like I say it'll be an adjustment for everyone because none of us have been in a situation like this before but we'll all understand."
"What if your parents hate me for doing this?" I say worriedly.
"Why would they hate you?" Brittany asks confused.
"Because I'm pregnant with a baby that isn't yours. They might be pissed that their daughter's wife is pregnant but it won't be their grandchild" I state.
"I know what you're saying but it's not exactly your baby either so I doubt they would hate you for doing this. It's not like you cheated on me or something and got pregnant" she says.
"Yeah, that is never going to happen" I say seriously.
"I know and my parents will know that too" Brittany reassures me.
"We should probably tell everyone else soon so we can prepare them for what we're doing" I say.
"Ok, we can do that" Brittany smiles.
