Chapter 2: Exploring Lake Verity! A Side Mission Of Catching Before The Journey Begins!

Michael quickly stood up, then helped his three girlfriends up before walking over to Professor Rowan.

Michael - "Nice to see you again Professor Rowan."

Professor Rowan - "Likewise Michael. But may I ask why your sisters are here?"

Michael quickly explained why.

Professor Rowan - "Ah, I see. I had heard of a few rumors about something new being created near Lake Valor. Now I know that it's Akira's new Turbo Battle Facility."

Akira - "I was wondering if you could find the time to make an appearance for the facility's grand opening Professor."

Professor Rowan - "Of course Akira. Just make sure to send me a message ahead of time and I'll make sure to get over to Lake Valor as quickly as I can."

Akira - "Thank you Professor. That means a lot. Well excuse us then. We better be off to make sure everything's in order."

Michael - "Safe travels you five. See you at Lake Valor."

Michael, Professor Rowan, and the girls watched as Michael's sisters took off into the sky, heading east towards Lake Valor.

Professor Rowan - "Now then. Let's quickly get Michael registered for the Sinnoh League."

Michael and the girls then followed Professor Rowan over to his lab. Michael then handed his PokéDex over to Professor Rowan. After a few moments, Professor Rowan handed back Michael his PokéDex.

Professor Rowan - "There you go Michael. You're all registered now."

Michael - "Thanks Professor Rowan. By the way. Twilight. While you, Sabrina, Kronii, and Sana are contacting the others and informing them that I'm here, I'm gonna head west and take a look at Lake Verity."

Sabrina - "We can do that for you Michael. Just be careful during your trek over to the lake."

Michael - "I will."

Michael left the lab and headed west towards Lake Verity. Along the way, he caught a Starly, Bidoof, and Kricketot, then sent them all home. After a bit more walking, Michael finally arrived at Lake Verity.

Michael - "So this is Lake Verity. Gotta admit it's very beautiful. But still…"

Michael's face darkened.

Michael - "Cyrus. I already know just what you and Ghetsis are trying to do to Sinnoh and Unova. And if you two think for a damn second that my friends and I are gonna stand by and do nothing, then you're sorely mistaken. And that also includes protecting the Lake Guardians here in Sinnoh. I refuse to let any harm come to Lady Mesprit or her brothers Load Azelf and Lord Uxie."

As Michael turned to head back towards Sandgem Town, he paused for a second.

Michael - "I know you can hear me Lady Mesprit. You have my word that my friends and I will do everything we can to protect all of Sinnoh from whatever tries to ruin it."

Michael then exited Lake Verity. Meanwhile, an unknown silhouette watched him leave. Soon Michael was back in Sandgem Town. But he decided that he had returned too early, so he decided to head south along Route 219. While going along the route, Michael did a bit of fishing and caught a Finneon, sending her home. He then went further south, reaching Route 220, but found no new catches. Thankfully, going east to Route 221 let him make two new catches in Stunky and West Sea Shellos. After finding nothing else new, Michael finally returned to Professor Rowan's lab in Sandgem Town.

Kronii - "Welcome back Michael. Bet you had a relaxing time at Lake Verity?"

Michael - "I did. But I felt like I came back to the lab too early, so I decided to do some extra catching on Routes 219, 220, and 221."

Sana - "So what did you catch?"

Michael - "I caught a Starly, Bidoof, and Kricketot on the way over to Lake Verity. Then caught a Finneon, Stunky, and West Sea Shellos on the routes to Sandgem Town's southeast. But once we go north of Sandgem Town, that's where the catching truly begins."

Professor Rowan - "Then I suggest you all better get started."

Michael - "I couldn't agree more Professor. Come on girls. Time to get our journey started."

Twilight/Sabrina/Kronii/Sana - "Right!"

Michael and the girls then left Professor Rowan's lab. Then they exited Sandgem Town to the north, entering Route 202.

Michael - "Look out Sinnoh! Here we come!"
