5:32 PM
Izuku awoke with a groan. His head aching, throbbing mercilessly. His ears rang with a perpetual, pitched sound that was so high his hands grasped his head, shaking it slowly to ease the pain. He plants his forehead on the floor while continuing to shake the pain away. Luckily the throbbing began to fade-away along with the ringing in his ears.
He sighed in relief that the awful storm of pain from his head had subsided. When he cracked his eyes open to try and see if he and his friends were still where they stood, he found himself in what looked like a bedroom. Where did the villain go? Izuku faced forward and slowly sat upright on the bed.
"What was that?" Asked Izuku under his breath. Then Izuku flinched—it struck him like a bell being pulled back and forth when memories of the recent event started coming back together.
Their mission . . . the forest . . . and the villain.
His friends. . .
Filled with worry and piqued with concern he jolted fully awake quickly getting to his feet. He Jumped out of bed and looked down. Doing so, his heart calmed down then let out a relieved sigh at the sight before him. Young Bakugou and Todoroki were in good condition, no sign of injuries or bruises. Reassured that they're alright he first walked towards his childhood friend who's face and belly were on the ground. He goes down on one knee, stretches his arm to reach for his shoulder then nudges it gently.
"Kacchan? Kacchan, please wake up." When Bakugou didn't respond, he repeated himself a bit louder. This worked as he heard a muffled groan while also slapping Izuku's hand away. He left him alone and headed over to Todoroki repeating the same process he did with Bakugou. This took time as the same merciless-pain that had come over to Izuku was now on them; and so he waited for it to wear off on them.
When it did they picked themselves up from the ground—still holding their heads. Shoto was the first to ask. "Midoriya... are you alright?"
Izuku nodded. "Yeah. What about you, how're you feeling?
"Felt worse but I'll be okay." Shoto replied.
"Damn it!" Bakugou cursed, stomping his foot on the ground out of anger. "We almost had him, he was right there in our grasp. Did we not tell you to wait, damn Deku?!"
"Not sure about him.." Shoto added.
Izuku retreated backwards, distancing himself from Bakugou. He smiled nervously while rubbing the back of his nape with his hand.
"Heh heh, I'm sorry," he said, "I saw the opportunity right in-front of me and I thought I could grab him at arm's reach—"
"He was leading you to a trap and you fell for it. If you had listened, icy-hot over here could've just flanked him and frozen him from the spot; then I would've taken the turn to finish him off. But now he's gone!" Bakugou shouted, anger evident in his tone.
While the hot-air head continued to shout at Izuku, Shoto couldn't help but notice something odd. They were obviously in a bedroom, which Shoto had no recollection of seeing beforehand, but this wasn't exactly an ordinary room. It was decorated to be spacious and lavish, filled with expensive looking furniture and expensive artwork adorning the walls. Shoto had never seen this type of space before, and the sheer amount of money invested in such a place seemed excessive. But that wasn't what worried him.
"Hey guys, where's our friends?" Shoto asked suddenly. Bakugou stopped yelling at Izuku and the pair looked around. Their faces fell.
"I don't know," answered Izuku after thinking about it for a moment, "I think the villain's quirk must've separated us all. They're probably somewhere else.."
Izuku reached for his walkie-talkie that resided near his backpack. Right thumb pressed the side button. He listened to the buzzing hiss of static.
"Uraraka-san, do you hear me? Anyone?" Izuku asked into the small device. Silence greeted him. The only reply to his voice was another buzz, followed by a short burst of static.
"We should go and find them." Shoto suggested. Izuku nodded in agreement.
Izuku placed his walkie-talkie back into his bag while Bakugou started towards the door. Bakugou reached for the knob, twisting it to the side. He pushed the door open revealing a winding hallway that led to multiple doors lining both sides of the hall. Izuku followed Bakugou's trail, Shoto trailing behind. They passed by a few rooms, some closed shut.
It was then that Izuku noticed something off about the perceptible shift in the atmosphere.
The hallway was silent.
Izuku's heartbeat fluttered, and he felt a familiar rush of adrenaline. Besides their footsteps, it was deathly quiet.
Izuku glanced over his shoulder at Shoto then back to Bakugou and saw that they had slowed down as well upon noticing the silence. Shoto and Bakugou looked around cautiously, glancing through every room they passed. None of them saw anyone inside except a few paintings and sculptures scattered about the entrance. There was a moment when they halted upon hearing strange noises echoing throughout the halls. When the noises faded, the trio proceeded forward, cautious yet eager to reunite with everyone.
They rounded the corner, walking down yet another winding hallway. But Izuku noticed something wrong with it. He stared down the hall.
Shards of broken vases littered the floor, along with the shattered remains of various figurines. All manner of glass shards lay strewn on the long stretched carpet. Some of the doors they passed were partially busted, as if someone or something tore it apart with brute force. Vents in the ceiling were blown open wide, causing air to swirl freely in and out. The stench of burnt flesh lingered, making Izuku's stomach lurch. He fought to keep his nausea at bay.
Izuku paused.
Burnt flesh?
Before Izuku could process any further thoughts, a faint muffled scream emanated from the hall. In the distance, Izuku and his friends set their sights on a door at the end of the hall. Izuku sprinted ahead towards said door with Bakugou and Shoto trailing behind. The door opened automatically by rising from its own accord. The three teens ducked as dust and smoke billowed from behind the door.
The billowing smoke cleared once more, revealing a large scorch mark that spanned across the wall, charred wood splintering everywhere. As the smoke faded away, the three teens began to hear a chorus of screams and wails coming from beyond the new hall. Their eyes widened when they saw dozens, perhaps hundreds of corpses lying on the ground. Some were completely burned; others were mangled beyond recognition and unrecognizable. A few of the corpses had hands and heads missing as though they had been ripped off.
Another corpse had two gaping holes in her chest as though she had been speared from behind, leaving only a bloody mess. In the distance, an ocean of people were running for their lives, screaming as they went past. The whole group appeared particularly frantic; their clothes torn, hair wild, and faces contorted with fear and desperation.
Some of the individual's clothes were stained with blood.
One thing stood out amongst the mob of fleeing survivors. Behind the fleeing group, the trio saw five humanoid creatures chasing after them. The five creatures were missing their lower jaws, revealing gums and flesh. All five of them were naked and were covered in blood from head to toe. It seemed as if someone poured a bucket of blood onto them to create a bloody painting of horror and death.
Their elongated arms were adorned with bone-like talons. Their skeletal spine protruded from the skin's surface and their pupils were missing, leaving blank sockets.
Izuku couldn't comprehend the monsters he was witnessing, or even identify them. They resembled nothing but nightmares.
"What the hell..?" Bakugou muttered under his breath.
"What are those things?" Shoto asked, his eyes transfixed upon the sight of one of the monsters sprinting terrifyingly fast after the fleeing survivors.
"Oh god, help me!"
A man rounded a corner, separating from his group that fled further down the hall. His shoe caught on a plain box and he fell face-first into the carpet floor. He dragged himself along the floor and whimpered like a beaten dog. Behind him, the creature slowly stalked him. It growled indifferently while taking its time; it knew he had nowhere left to run.
The man turned over onto his back and tried crawling up the wall. Tears streamed down his face as he desperately pleaded for his life, his body trembling uncontrollably due to fear. The creature approached, slowly closing in on the frightened man who cried out as loud as he could.
Any fear or dread Izuku had was washed away the second the man cried for help. Izuku felt a rush of courage coursing through his veins.
Determination laced through Izuku as his eyes narrowed, the leather squeaked as he bawled both his hands to a fist. His face illuminated as glowing, crimson veins appeared from all parts of his body, dancing their way towards his head. The veins quickly faded away and his figure was coated by sparks of emerald lightning. Bursting with speed he leapt towards the creature.
"St. Louis Smash!"
Izuku shouted with a swing of his leg, lashing his foot onto the creature's face. A shockwave of emerald energy pulsed outward. The creature shrieked in pain as Izuku sent it flying in the air then indented its body into the wall. Life expired from the monster and its head hung limp on its shoulders.
Izuku turned his gaze towards the man who was already looking up at him. Fear was etched into the man's face as he looked straight into Izuku's green eyes. Izuku's face softened, his lips pulling into a warm smile as he took one step towards him. With gracious gesture, Izuku extended his hand towards the man.
"It's fine," Izuku reassured softly. "You're safe now."
The man eyed Izuku. After a moment, the man grabbed onto Izuku's hand and pulled himself onto his feet. The man stumbled slightly as he gained his footing, but he continued staring into Izuku's eyes. Izuku looked over his shoulder, and saw that the survivors stopped upon seeing the action that took place.
A gurgling growl reverberated from the hallway. The growl was answered by a similar call, and then another, until everyone saw the huge group of slashers trotting towards them.
The survivors proceeded to run forward down the hall with the man Izuku saved trailing after them. Izuku stood before the slashers in the distance, channeling his percentage of One for All up to twenty percent. Bakugou and Shoto stood alongside him, the pair activating their quirks in anticipation.
A terrible realization dawned on Izuku.
If he and his friends have to deal with them here, what if the others are also dealing with them as well?

"Jeezus that thing was angry. Daina? I'm out of the hospital."
Issac Clarke brought his hand up to his ear as he distance himself from the lifeless behemoth's corpse by starting forward. It had already been thirty-four minutes since he woke up from his slumber. When he had escaped from the nightmarish massacre that had plagued the Ishimura three years ago, he had thought he escaped the nightmare for good. And yet, it somehow found its way back to his front door. It was happening all over again.
"Okay, the tram station is just beyond the apartment blocks."
"Hang on. I need more answers. How long have I been here?" Issac asked.
"Three years," Daina replied via radio, "Tiedemann found you floating in space near Aegis VII and brought you here for study."
"Why can't I remember anything?" Inquired Issac.
"The Marker you found imprinted your brain with a self-replicating signal. The longer you're awake, the more the signal spreads. It's killing you Isaac. Tiedemann tried to keep it in check with memory suppressants." Daina explained.
"You said you could fix it, right?"
"Only if you reach me in time. Tram Station. Get moving."
Issac nodded and proceeded to round another corner before entering through a door. He walked slowly, hearing none but his metal boots clanking against the floor. He stared at an empty juice box laying on the table, then the small monitor to his left, to the fog lingering in the upper corner of the room. He stepped towards a vent and pressed his palm flat against it. As soon as his palm touched the cold, white surface, the vent's door pulled up, allowing Issac to crawl through.
He began crawling forward then rounded the corner, approaching the vent's exit. He climbed himself out into what appeared to be another room. A station stood five feet away from him and an upgrade bench was situated to the room's left side. But none of them weren't what made Issac pause. He saw them in an instant the moment he turned around.
Through the glass window, Issac saw a group of silhouettes. They seemed to be conversing about something. Issac took four steps closer for a better view of the figures, while keeping himself hidden in the shadows. He peaked around the side window and observed the figures silently.
Issac paused.
Are those… kids?
Issac blinked. Now that he can see them better, yes, those are definitely kids. A group of girls in fact, who looked to be in their teens. One girl in the center was short with a curvy figure, fair skin, and auburn hair with eyes that match in color. She had perpetual pink blush on her cheeks, and her eyes are unnaturally large and round with thick upper lashes, two more extended and more prominent ones on either side and fewer but more individually pronounced lower lashes. Her hair is shoulder-length with short bangs, and the style is bobbed with two long strands framing her face.
She donned a full-body black suit with a pale pink design down the middle of her torso, topped with two black semi-spheres on her chest, pink stripes starting at her midsection, a deep pink choker, and two-toned pink sleeves with cuffs. She also donned matching pale and deep pink colored accessories, including round arm gauntlets with four raised openings, chunky, knee-high boots, and a round belt with no center. She wore a matching headgear that completed her appearance.
The tall girl next to her had a mature physique. Her long black hair generally tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her eyes are big yet sharp, dark in color, and paired with short eyebrows. She donned a high-collared, sleeveless crimson leotard with silver lines at her waist and around her arms, exposing her skin from her neck to just below her navel. She sports calf-length red boots with heels, which dip sharply down in the center, two gold utility belts around her waist, and another thinner one around the top of her chest, below her shoulders.
Another girl behind the tall one stood of medium height, possibly set a little more broadly than some of her female friends. Her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square-shaped eyes with black sclerae and yellow irises and long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Her face is framed by short fluffy, unruly pink hair slightly darker than her skin. Two thin, pale yellow horns protrude from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides.
She wore a plain white mask over her eyes, with a purple and turquoise skin-tight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts. Over this, she wears a cropped, sleeveless, tan-colored waistcoat with white fur along its collar, which she leaves unbuttoned. She wears custom made plum violet and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the soles, allowing her to secrete acid from her feet to slide around.
The other individual, who stood before the pink cheeks girl, was an odd one to look at. The girl was short of a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; her mouth was wide, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced. Her frog-like traits are the least pronounced. She also demonstrates some frog-like mannerisms, such as holding herself in a way that is somewhat connotative of a frog.
Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her waist with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. Two shoulder-length clumps framed her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side.
She donned a bright green turtleneck bodysuit. Tan-colored gloves with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one above her breasts. A strap at either side going around her shoulders, and one around her waist, little green dots embedded into it all the way around. Two black lines run down her suit, each framed with yellow, and she wears tight black boots with markings in the shape of a "V" on her thighs and green webbed flippers resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband with a color matching that of her gloves and goggles with dark green-tinted lenses attached on either side.
A petite, fair-skinned girl stood next to her female frog friend. She had a slender build. Her onyx eyes were triangular with notably long lower eyelashes and small eyebrows. Her dark-purple hair is chin length, with an asymmetrical fringe that has two reflections shaped like heartbeat monitor waves on either side. Her most prominent features are the flexible, plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes; they act like extra limbs that Issac noticed quickly.
She wore a black leather jacket, long salmon-colored shirt with several rips at the collar and hem, black pants, and boots with stereos built into their shafts. She adorned two small, triangular red paint marks just below her eyes, a plain black choker, and white fingerless gloves.
The last individual among the girls was hard for Issac to discern apart from the rest. Their body was invisible, save for the light blue gloves decorated by pale pink lines and light brownish-gray lace-up shoes. Issac couldn't comprehend what he was seeing, even now his eyes hadn't left the invisible girl. But what bewildered him the most was not just the suits they were wearing but rather that neither of them had rigs on their backs.
Issac stood upright and inhaled deeply. Exhaling through pursed lips, and walked towards the door. The door slid upward with a metallic hiss, alarming the girls and turning their gaze towards Isaac. Issac stood before the girls, they watched him with cautious expressions on their faces. Neither spoke a word.
"Uh… hi." Issac greeted, waving his hand.
The girl with pink cheeks tilted their head with a puzzled expression. The girls behind her blinked at Issac with bewilderment. There was a pause between them until the girl with pink cheeks spoke.
"Hello," the girl with pink cheeks returned, waving at Isaac.
Issac's lips parted, as to say something, until he heard a familiar snarl from behind the girls. The girls looked over their shoulders and saw a slasher sprinting fast towards them. One of the girls screamed as she retreated backwards in time when the creature swung its left talon and nearly slashed her arm open. By pure instinct, Issac dodged through the girls and aimed his plasma cutter at the slasher.
First shot of energy cut through its legs, it hit the floor face first. Issac shot its elongated arms, and finally its head. It shrieked in agony before its life expired. Silence enveloped the room after it died.
Issac turned his gaze to the ponytail girl. She placed her hand over her beating heart and exhaled. The other girls emulated her actions as well. She looked back at Isaac and smiled.
"Thank you." She expressed.
Suddenly, Issac and the girls were startled by buzzing static filling the air, directing their gaze towards three broken monitors nearby. Issac started towards it while the girls trailed behind him. Appearing on the three monitors was a balding black man with a blank expression.
"This is Director Tiedemann," the black man known as Tiedeman started. "A station-wide emergency is in effect. In accordance with Titan Station Civic Code, I am declaring martial law. All citizens are ordered to evacuate. Looters will be shot on sight. This is not a drill. Move immediately to the nearest evac route."
The message looped over and over again even when Issac turned away started forward. The girls followed him, while cautiously twitching their heads from side to side in search of any more threats. As they reached the door, they began to detect muffled noises behind said door.
Behind the steel door, Issac and the girls can hear a chorus of frantic high pitch screams.
Location: Titan Station - Government Sector
5:48 PM
Hans Tiedeman observed with great admiration the towering marker, which pulsated with energy in its majestic display. It is with immense satisfaction that he announced to his staff and people the completion of this ancient alien artifact, after three long years of construction. It now stands proudly and mightily, its surface emitting a faint yellow glow, showcasing its glory and brilliance.
Hans finds himself in awe of this monument, which serves as a testament to my accomplishment. The mere existence of such an ancient artifact in the deepest depths of space is truly remarkable. He vividly recalls the years of effort dedicated to its construction, as his team and he spent months meticulously designing, building, and installing every component.
After years of preparation, the device had finally come together.
And they wouldn't have gone this far if not for the information they received from their subject:
Issac Clarke
Hans's eyes narrowed. He was aware that Issac had the potential to cause trouble right from the beginning, but the esteemed experts assured him of his indispensability. They claimed that Issac possessed the purest intellect, and Hans dedicated years to meticulously examining his deranged mind. Had the board promptly dismissed him once they had gathered all the necessary information, there would have been significantly less disruption to their operations. Presently, he is aimlessly wandering about their facility, engaging in activities unknown to them.
Hans chuckled while closing his eyes. He shouldn't be worrying too much. Even if he tries to find a way to reach the government sector, he wouldn't get too far. Not with all the Necromorphs blocking his way. Those creatures would take their time with him; they'll slaughter him before he even takes another step.
Hans looked over his shoulder, and saw a security guard exiting out of the elevator. The guard marched towards him before stopping in his tracks then quickly saluted him. Hans nodded at the security guard, silently giving him permission to give out his report.
"Director Tiedemen, we have evacuated as much as we can," the security guard reported in a solemn tone. Hans gave him a curt nod. The security guard continued, "Some of the survivors managed to escape safely; the rest, however, were not so fortunate. The number of Necromorhs are increasing with each passing second and my men and I barely got out with our lives from a horde of those things. But besides that, we managed to make it back alive, although we unfortunately lost four men on our way here."
"We sealed the door shut from behind us, now nobody would be able to get in or out of the station. The progress is a bit slow but the scientists are getting closer and closer to understanding the marker. As for Issac Clarke, he is still on the run but we'll continue to keep an eye on him through the security cams."
"Good." Hans acknowledged. His eyes then flickered to the security guards stationed outside. "I assume you have already informed your teams regarding phase two of our plan?"
"Yes sir. They're waiting to receive further instructions from you soon."
"Very good. Keep watch on Clarke for me. You may go."
The security guard hesitated a moment. Han's brow creased before he turned to the security guard. "Well? What is it?"
The guard met Han's gaze.
"Actually, there's something else you should know."
Location: Sprawl - Civil Area
6:02 PM
A multitude of survivors hurriedly fled down the carpeted corridor, seeking refuge from imminent danger. The air resonated with a cacophony of screams and shouts as they made their way towards the shuttles. From a distance, the guttural growls and snarls of the pursuing Necromorphs reverberated through the halls. However, despite the overwhelming fear that gripped everyone, a glimmer of hope seemed to blossom within many hearts, particularly in the enigmatic trio of children who valiantly confronted the relentless monsters.
At the center of the chaos stood Deku, his body radiating a vibrant green light. With each punch and kick, he thwarted the slashers' attempts to harm him. Suddenly, a slasher sprinted towards the young hero from behind, poised to pounce upon him. Deku's danger sense immediately alerted him to the imminent threat. Swiftly, he leapt into the air, activating his Float Quirk, and deftly rolled his body to face his assailant with a determined gaze.
Black tendrils of Blackwhip shot out of Deku's gloves, wrapping around the Slasher's torso. Pulling his arms back he brought the monster up in the air to his view. Deku pulled the Slasher towards him, rearing back his fist and strikes at its face, caving in its nose.
The Slasher fell down, the tendrils uncoiling from its torso, and it bounced across the floor for a few meters, and laid still.
The Slasher growled in mingled pain and rage, as it pushed itself up. Blood dripping down its face, its nose bubbling with labored breath. But before it could take one step, Deku flicked his fingers, propelling air bullets into its face. Its head exploded in an explosion of blood and tissue. It stumbled back, and lay on the ground again.
Not too far from Deku, Shoto thrusted his left hand forward, blasting a torrent of flames down the hallway towards a group of sprinting Slashers. Their bodies ignited instantly, leaving nothing but scorched black husks of burnt flesh and bone. He retracted his arm, and turned around in time to scorch another Slasher that attempted to pounce at him from behind. The Slasher emitted a scream as its skin burned away and melted under the intense heat.
The creature fell on its back, thrashing its elongated arms around, trying desperately to get out of the burning pain. Shoto stepped over to it, raising his hand again and blasted another torrent of flame at it. The Slasher shrieked, its limbs twitching in agony, then it stopped moving. Its charred corpse lay still on the carpet floor.
Shoto stepped back and watched the monster's corpse burn in silence. The flames danced through the liquid that had settled within the eye sockets. The greasy smell of seared fat was thick in the air; Shoto caught his breath to avoid tasting it.
"I think that's the last of them." Izuku said, approaching Shoto from behind.
"What are these things, Midoriya?" Shoto asked, not removing his eyes from the charred corpse. Izuku shook his head.
"I don't know… but they're definitely not human." Izuku said, staring at the burnt remains.
"Yeah, no crap Sherlock."
Izuku and Shoto looked over their shoulder, and saw Bakugou approaching them.
"These ugly freaks are no different than the Nomus we dealt with." Bakugou spat at the corpse, kicking it in disgust. "But what I want to know is where the hell are these things coming from?"
"Well, these creatures have to have come from a source somewhere. And if we can find out what kind of source, then maybe we can figure out how to counteract them." Izuku theorized.
"But we'll have to find it, right?" Shoto questioned, crossing his arms.
"Yeah, but for now we should focus on finding the others," Izuku replied, reaching for his walkie-talkie.
Before his thumb pressed the side button, his walkie-talkie crackled to life. Bits of syllables flew through the speaker but after a few seconds the words became clear enough to understand.
"Deku? Deku, are you there?"
Uraraka!
"Uraraka-San. Yes, I'm here! So are Kachan and Todoroki!" Izuku called back quickly. A sigh could be heard through the speaker.
"Thank goodness. Where are you?" Uraraka asked.
Izuku scanned his surroundings.
"I'm not sure actually, my only guess is we're in some kind of outside section." Izuku replied, glancing up the length of the hallway he, Shoto, and Bakugou were standing on. "What about you?"
"We're in an elevator right now. But Deku, you have to be careful. There are terrifying monsters roaming around the place!"
Izuku chuckled. "Yeah, I know. We ran into them. But we took them out, so we're okay."
The ring of a bell sounded through the hallway as Izuku and his friends turned their gaze towards an elevator not too far from them. A group exited out of said elevator and shifted their heads towards Izuku. Izuku felt a smile spread across his face as he recognized them. Uraraka, Tsuyu, Momo, Mina, Toru, and Jiro approached him and his friends.
Izuku blinked in surprise. There was someone else among the girls. This armored individual trailed behind the girls, aiming their strange weapon around with caution. The figure was clad in a suit from head to toe, one that Izuku had never seen before. He found the suit cool looking; it looked like something out of a video game.
The man in the suit cordially presented himself as Issac Clarke: a previous engineer of ship systems. He proceeded to provide a more detailed explanation to him and his friends regarding the entities they had recently encountered, known as Necromorphs. These abominations are the result of mutated corpses being grotesquely reshaped by an extraterrestrial infection, which is derived from a genetic code inscribed within an artifact referred to as the Marker. Isaac noted that these creatures exhibit an exceedingly aggressive nature, indiscriminately attacking any uninfected organism they come across.
"The only way to end all of this is to find the Marker and destroy it; otherwise… this nightmare will never end." Isaac said. Izuku shuddered. He could feel his own skin crawling, hearing that statement through Mimi's translation.
"So where is this Marker?" Jiro asked. Isaac sighed, his shoulders sagging in exasperation.
"If I knew, my waypoint would have led us there by now." Isaac replied, his tone weary. "All I know for certain is that it lies somewhere around this station. So we'll just—"
Isaac paused. His earpiece radio crackled to life. He turned away from the kids and brought his hand up to his earpiece.
"Isaac? Are you there?" A voice came through. Isaac nodded and lowered his hand from his ear.
"Yeah Daina, I'm here. What is it?" Isaac responded.
"You got to keep moving and stay low. Tiedemen and his men are still looking for you." Daina warned.
Isaac shifted his gaze to the charred Slasher on the floor.
"There are necromorphs everywhere, is the entire Sprawl infected?! How did this happen? The Marker was destroyed, Daina. I destroyed it!" Isaac exclaimed in frustration.
"You destroyed 'A,' Marker, Isaac; Tiedemann built another one." She corrected through via radio.
Bakugou raised a brow at Isaac.
"Who the hell is he talking to..?" Bakugou muttered to himself.
"Shh." Izuku hissed, ignoring Kachan's glare.
"On this station? Why?" Isaac inquired.
"It's powerful alien technology; Tiedemann wants that power. Get to the tram. It'll take you to the Cassini Towers Tram Station..."
Her last words didn't register as they faded to static.
Issac blinked. "Daina? Dammit."
"Who was that?" Momo asked, looking at Isaac curiously. Isaac turned back to the group.
"That was Daina, the only one trying to get me out of this damn place, as well as holding the cure that can cure me." Isaac replied, checking his ammunition.
A profound and dreadful roar resounded throughout the corridor. The walls trembled humbly in reaction. Uraraka and Mina embraced one another, overcome with fear and in response to the distant roar. Momo and Jiro stiffened, while Tsuyu expressed concern with a croak. Izuku gazed uncertainly at Bakugou and Todoroki, clenching his hands into fists.
Izuku had faced the Nomu back in the USJ and almost got crushed from its massive strength, but he had never been afraid like this. Never.
"Oh man, that can't be good." Isaac uttered under his breath. Jiro turned her gaze towards.
"What was that?" Jiro wondered, her tone laced with a bit of fear.
"Something I hope we don't encounter later down the road." Isaac answered.
Izuku's eyes narrowed with determination.
"We need to find the others, they could be in danger. Probably fighting these monsters for all we know." Izuku declared, turning his body towards the group.
"But where would we begin to look? I mean, this place is big." Shoto pointed out.
"Well we're not gonna find them if we continue sitting here doing crap, let's go." Bakugou stated, rolling his body around and started forward towards the door down the hall.
"Kachan, wait!" Izuku shouted as he trailed after him. Shoto and the girls followed the pair, with Isaac trailing at the rear.
Isaac stared at the kids in wonderment.
Okay, I have so many questions, Isaac thought, but I'll save them for later. Just until I help find these kids' friends.
The group entered through the door and proceeded forward.
