After Olivia got off the phone with Barba, she sat her cellphone down on her desk and rubbed her temples. Barba was more than willing to take the case. He too was worried about Sonny. Even though everything pointed to Velasco, in her gut Olivia felt like he didn't do it. But if he didn't, who did?

Fin walked into her office and lightly knocked.

"Are you busy?" Fin asked.

"No come on in." Olivia responded as she took off her glasses. "I am trying to make sense of this case. I just don't understand why Velasco would turn and do something like this."

Fin walked in further into the office and closed the door.

"What if he didn't?" Fin asked.

Olivia tilted her head to one side. "Go on."

"Well Rollins was telling me that one of Gina's former boyfriends showed up for the vigil. What if it was a former boyfriend or ex-fiancé that did this? "Fin questioned.

"Highly unlikely considering she was in a motel room with Velasco." Olivia said.

"We may be surprised if we take a look into her past." Fin suggested.

Fin was right. Gina's past could hold the key to her murder.

Olivia, Fin, and Amanda started doing a deep dive into Gina's past. Everything from high school up until the day she was murdered. Olivia pinned pictures of each guy up on a board.

"So, Gina was engaged to eleven different guys." Olivia pointed out. "What do we know about them?"

"We can't go and interview Carlo D'Angelo. He was killed in Iraq." Fin said as he took his picture down from the board.

"A pattern I'm noticing is she dated men with money. Doctors, bankers, programmers. She was even engaged to her OBGYN." Amanda said as she raised her eyebrows.

"I guess he liked what he seen." Fin smirked.

"But she never married any of these guys." Olivia said pointing to the board. "So, there must be a reason. I want you to bring each guy in and talk to each one of these guys and find out what the breaking point was."

It took a lot of digging and searching but they finally found several of Gina's ex-fiancé's and convinced them to come to the precinct. Olivia, Amanda, and Fin stood outside the interrogation rooms talking out their game plan.

"We were able to get a hold of ten of her fiancé's." Fin explained.

"Good. Rollins you take Lantz, Risch, and Chism. Fin you take Bishop, Poleschner, and Trentini. I'll take De Luca, Forte, Huddlemay and Riici." Olivia said before they broke off to do interrogations.

"Kyle Lantz, tell me what you do for a living?" Amanda asked.

"I'm a psychiatrist." Kyle Lantz answered, not wanting to look the detective in the eyes.

"I'm a Professor at Hudson University." Zachary Bishop said crossing his arms.

"I'm a brain surgeon." Alexander De Luca spoke blinking excessively.

"I'm a chiropractor." Camden Risch uttered.

"Archaeologist." Daniel Polsechner declared with a smile.

"I'm a computer programmer." Nick Forte stated as he leaned forward.

"A dentist." Eli Chism remarked softly.

"An author." Anthony Trentini commented nodding his head.

"I'm an OBGYN." Adam Hudlemay noted, his eyebrows going up.

"I'm president of Liberty Bank." Luca Riici replied.

"And how long were you guys engaged?" each of the detectives asked each person.

"Three months." Kyle responded as he shook his head.

"Two months." Zachary answered looking down.

"Almost two weeks." Alexander whispered before he went tight lipped.

"Five months." Camden admitted, smiling.

"A year." Daniel confessed as he nodded his head.

"A few months." Nick verified. He tightened his fist under the table.

"Two years." Eli mumbled. He rubbed his jaw.

"A month." Anthony scoffed as he crossed his legs.

"Ten months." Adam said crossing his arms.

"In total we were together six years." Luca specified with a smile.

"Tell me what caused you guys to break off the engagement?" The detectives questioned.

"There just wasn't any communication in between us." Kyle stated before slouching.

"She said she loved me but wasn't in love with me." Zachary informed before frowning.

"She thought getting engaged with fix our relationship but quickly figured out we weren't compatible." Alexander answered, his hands shaking.

"We just couldn't get excited about the wedding." Camden agonized.

"I wanted kids and she didn't." Daniel bawled.

"I figured out I was gay." Adam blubbered as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"She said I was too controlling." Nick groaned as he stuck his hands in his pockets.

"She didn't like that I would leave my kids with her while I went and saw my girlfriend." Eli answered, slouching.

"She said I was too immature." Anthony commented as he rested his chin in his hand.

"She said we had grown apart." Luca replied, rubbing his eyes.

Olivia left her interrogation room and headed back to her office. Fin and Amanda followed as they finished up their interviews at sat across from Olivia.

"There must be something we are missing. They all have solid alibi's that check out. Is there anyone we could be missing?" Olivia said as she rubbed her temples.

"Could there be some DNA we are missing?" Fin asked.

Olivia shook her head.

"The only DNA we have come up with is Velasco's. Let's take the night off and we will continue looking into it in the morning. Maybe Velasco can remember something. Rollins, go and check on Carisi." Olivia said as she gathered her purse and keys.

Sonny had offered to watch the girls, which Amanda was thankful for, but she knew he needed some time to himself, so she had her babysitter watch them. After she picked up the girls they got home and walked into the apartment, finding Sonny passed out on the couch with beer bottles surrounding him.

"Shh…" Amanda turned to the girls and said putting her finger to her mouth. "We don't want to wake up Uncle Sonny. Go on to your room and I will let you know when dinner is ready."

Jessie took her little sister's hand, and they went off to their room. Amanda took a good look at Sonny. He was dressed in his sweats and a Fordham University t-shirt. He looked like he was in desperate need of a shower, shave, and haircut. Amanda gently patted his face, startling him awake.

"When did you get home?" Sonny slurred.

"The girls and I just got home. I sent them to their room while I make dinner." Amanda answered.

Sonny huffed out a laugh at the thought of Amanda cooking. He rubbed his eyes trying to get them to focus a bit more. When he opened his eyes again, he saw Amanda picking up his empty beer bottles from the floor.

"How much have you had to drink?" Amanda questioned.

Sonny shrugged. Truth be told he lost count after the first three.

"Sonny, you can't keep going like this." Amanda ripped into him. "You are sitting here drinking your days away, you haven't shaved in weeks, and you haven't had a haircut since the funeral."

Sonny jumped up from the couch, which he instantly regretted doing as the world around him started to spin. He swayed back and forth and thought he was going to pass out. But he had to put Amanda back in her place.

"You don't get to tell me how I can spend my days." Sonny screamed, causing Amanda to flinch. She never expected Sonny to react in this manner.

"Besides, you should have let me know you were on your way home." Sonny scoffed.

"Sonny, I get that you are upset over Gina's murder, but you must get over it. She was going to end up dead sooner or later." Amanda said, regretting it moments after she said it.

Sonny picked up one of the empty bottles and threw it against the wall. He then got in Amanda's face backing her up against the wall.

"You better hope to God your sister or one of the girls never gets murdered. Because you won't get sympathy from anyone, especially me." Sonny backed away, picking up a full bottle and his keys.

"Sonny, wait! Where are you going?" Amanda reached for Sonny's arm, but he pushed her hand away from him.

"Don't touch me." Sonny hissed.

"Dominick, I'm sorry! Please just calm down." Amanda begged as she followed him to the door.

Hearing all the chaos in the living room, Jessie came out of her bedroom to find Uncle Sonny awake. She ran out and wrapped her arms around Sonny's legs. She held up a piece of paper that she had found.

"Uncle Sonny, can you read this to me?" Jessie asked with love in her eyes.

Sonny glared at Amanda "Have your mother read it, I don't have time."

Sonny pushed Jessie away from him and stormed out of the apartment, slamming the door.

Jessie stood in shock as the tears began to flow down her little face.

"Mommy, why is Uncle Sonny mad at me?" Jessie cried.

Amanda kneeled in front of her daughter.

"Uncle Sonny isn't made at you baby. He is just having a bad day." Amanda explained before giving her daughter a hug. "Now let me see what you have there.

Amanda took the note and began to read it. She felt panic rising within her, and her heart began to race.

"Jessie, where did you find this?" Amanda questioned.

"In your office." Jessie innocently answered. "I'm sorry mommy. It fell off your desk when I went to get a coloring book."

"You're not in trouble sweetie." Amanda answered as she got her phone out of her back pocket and tried to call Sonny.

"Come on Sonny!" Amanda whispered.

When he didn't pick up, she called Olivia.

When Olivia answered she could tell something was wrong when she heard Amanda say "Liv, we got a problem."
