Took me a while to figure out the akuma for this chapter, so sorry about that!
In this chapter: Maria Ambrose, Madison's nerdy, smart, little sister is waiting for a big project she completed at school to be graded. Madison mocks her, telling her that she's gonna fail the project and get kicked out. Maria snaps at her older sister, and runs off, and Hawk Moth takes the opportunity to akumatize the young girl into Mindwipe, a villain who can wipe the minds of anyone she hits with a blast from her necklace; putting them under her complete control. Leo, Maria's boyfriend, is given the Miraculous of the Bear to try and help save the day. He transforms into his alter-ego, Orso. A shocking thing happens at the end, when a dark spell is used by Devon Aire to steal the Miraculous of the Firefly, so he can turn into Luciérnaga! The four heroes need to start searching for a female to wield the Miraculous of the Dove.
Chapter Twenty-Three: Mindwipe
Maria Ambrose would be with her boyfriend, looking at her phone.
"Babe?" Leo looked over. "Is everything okay?"
"I'm worried...my grade from my big project hasn't been graded yet...and I handed it in way before the due date!"
"There has to be other students in the class, so maybe your professor is starting to grade them," Leo said.
"Yeah, there's a lot of students, but you know how I am with my grades," Maria said.
Leo frowned, hugging her. "Babe, you'll pass. You'll get a good grade. You're super smart."
"You really think so?" Maria asked, smiling softly.
"Of course I do," Leo smiled back, kissing her cheek.
Maria smiled. "What did I do to deserve someone like you?"
"By being yourself," Leo smiled.
Maria would smile back.
"Ugh, you make me feel so disgusted," a snarky voice let out.
The two young teens turned to see Madison.
"What do you want, Madison?" Maria huffed.
"Oh, I was just wondering why you keep looking at your phone. Are you thinking that you're gonna fail?"
"Wh-what?" Maria asked, as tears started to form.
"Madison, stop it!" Leo glared at her.
"No! You're gonna fail, and you're gonna get kicked out!" Madison taunted.
"That's not true...there has to be so many students..." Maria let out.
"Hah! As if! Perhaps I can get in contact with your professor, and seduce him to give you a failing grade," Madison smirked.
"Y-you wouldn't!" Maria let out, trembling more.
"Oh, I will. I can't wait to say that you failed, and you've been kicked out of your school," Madison sneered.
Maria sobbed, running off.
Leo glared at the older girl. "I can't believe you! I'm going to go after her!"
Madison rolled her eyes as Leo ran after his girlfriend.
A mechanical whir broke the chamber's silence, and ghastly blue light was allowed into the circular room. The moment the light struck the white forms along the ground, the butterflies, now luminescent, took to the air. They filled the dim chamber as a cloud of beating wings, hovering around the figure in the center of the room. It would soon reveal Hawk Moth.
"Ah, a young woman, worried about her grades, and being taunted by her sister? Now that's the perfect amount of negative emotions right there!"
He would let a white butterfly land on his hand, and he would cover it, giving it the dark power to turn it into an akuma.
"Fly away, my evil akuma, and evilise her!"
The akuma would fly out of the window, searching for its target.
Maria sniffled as she ran to her bedroom, slamming the door behind her and locking it.
Leo would hurry to the bedroom, knocking on the door. "Maria? Baby, it's me. Can you let me in?"
"Is Madison with you?" Maria sniffled.
"No, she's not," Leo assured.
Maria would unlock her door, and Leo would come in. As he came in, the akuma would flutter towards the open window. Leo gasped. "Maria, there's an akuma!"
The akuma would flutter down towards the necklace around her neck, which was a white double-stringed necklace with a pink heart-shaped pendant surrounded by a golden heart-shaped frame with a loop. The akuma would soon absorb into the necklace, turning it dark purple.
Maria glanced up, as the area around her face turned a dark rust color, and a light butterfly mask would appear over her eyes and glasses.
"Uh oh..." Leo let out. He would hurry off to hide.
"Mindwipe, I am Hawk Moth. I'm granting you the power to wipe the minds of anyone who stands in your way, which includes your pathetic sister. However, I don't give these powers for free. In exchange, I'm asking you to grab the Miraculouses of Ladybug, Cat Noir, Ocelot, and Lionne. Can you do this for me?"
"Thank you, Hawk Moth. I gladly accept your powers," Maria smirked, as her transformation into an akuma would begin. The dark ether would cover her, starting from the necklace. When the ether faded, Maria would look completely different. Her skin turned pale blue, and her hair turned pure white, with a pale blue spooky glow, and it began to float; as if she were a ghost. Her eyes turned completely white, with no pupils in them. Her outfit would be a tight-fitting black full-length bodysuit, with a pink brain icon that had a red circle with a line through it. She also wore white gloves, and white boots. Her necklace turned into a white double-stringed necklace with a purple-heart shaped pendant surrounded by a black and golden heart shaped frame with a loop. A wicked smirk grew on her face. She was no longer Maria, she was now Mindwipe.
"Let's go and test out my powers now," Mindwipe let out. "Starting with my pathetic sister."
Madison would be texting on her phone, when she would hear a chilling voice behind her.
"Hello, my dear sister."
"Huh?" Madison turned around. "Who the heck are you?!"
Mindwipe would smirk. "I'm shocked you don't recognize me."
"Um, you look like a creep," Madison deadpanned.
Mindwipe would grab her necklace, and hold it. A dark glow came from it, as blue energy went into her hand.
Madison's eyes widened. "Maria?!"
"Maria's gone! I'm Mindwipe now! I'm going to wipe your mind, and make you dumb!" Mindwipe sneered.
"You can't! I'll die if I'm dumb!" Madison was terrified.
"Oh? You had no shame in mocking me, and saying that I would fail my big project, and get kicked out of school." Mindwipe snickered. She would watch as the energy in her hand grew bigger. "I think this is big enough."
Madison screamed, running as the attack missed her.
"Get back here!" Mindwipe screamed.
The light butterfly mask would appear over her face.
"Mindwipe, don't forget your promise about grabbing the Miraculouses. Don't make me remove your powers!" Hawk Moth would threaten.
"Oh, don't worry, Hawk Moth, I'll get those Miraculouses for you," Mindwipe smirked wickedly. "I just need to wipe my sister's mind!"
The citizens of Paris would be walking, until they saw a floating figure, sending blasts of blue energy towards them. Once the energy hit them, their eyes turned completely white, with no pupils. A light drool came from their mouths. Mindwipe would smirk.
"Now, you're under my control!" Mindwipe yelled. "Go, and find Madison Ambrose, and bring her to me!"
With a moan, the citizens under Mindwipe's control would raise their arms, and shuffle out, to find the girl known as Madison Ambrose.
"LADYBUG! CAT NOIR! OCELOT! LIONNE! SURRENDER YOUR MIRACULOUSES!" Mindwipe yelled. "IF YOU DON'T, I'LL WIPE THE MIND OF MORE PEOPLE, AND TURN THEM INTO MY SLAVES! YOU WOULDN'T WANT THAT, DO YOU? SO, GIVE UP YOUR MIRACULOUSES!"
"It won't be long before those heroes show up to meet their doom," Hawk Moth smirked, before laughing wickedly.
Marinette and Alya would be hanging out with one another, when they noticed some people walking like zombies, their arms out, and drool coming from their mouth.
"It's not Halloween..." Marinette let out.
"It must be an akuma attack! I so need to get this on the Ladyblog!" Alya let out, running after the people.
"Alya!" Marinette called out. With a grumble, she ran into an alleyway to let Tikki out of her purse.
"When will Alya learn not to go charging into an akuma fight?" Tikki asked.
"I have no idea, Tikki, but there's no time! We have to transform! TIKKI, SPOTS ON! YEAH!" Marinette shouted, as she transformed into her alter-ego, as her clothes would be replaced with her wearing a red superhero jumpsuit covered in black spots and with a black collar/turtleneck. Her yo-yo was wrapped around her waist with a red string. On her face is a red mask with five black spots that are in a symmetrical design, and the waterlines of her eyes are coloured black. Her earrings are red with five black spots in a quincunx pattern, and the bands holding her hair back become red ribbons, resembling a ladybug's antennas or a ladybug flying when she's moving. Her eyes became a vivid azure. She would pose at the end of her transformation.
Adrien would be at a photoshoot, when he noticed a blue energy blast hit his photographer, and the assistants, which would turn their eyes completely white, with no pupils. They would drop their things to the ground, and would raise their arms up, as if they were zombies, and they began to shuffle out of the photoshoot area. Adrien would hurry to his trailer, and would let out Plagg.
"What's up with all those zombies? Is it another Zombizou?" Plagg asked.
"I don't know, but it's time to transform!" Adrien let out.
"Let me eat my Camembert first!" Plagg whined.
Adrien rolled his eyes. "Plagg, Claws Out!"
The Camembert dropped from Plagg's tiny arms as he would be absorbed into the silver ring on Adrien's finger, which would turn black with a green paw print on its face. He has cat eyes with green sclerae, dark green irises, and oval pupils. His hair becomes longer and untamed, and it covers his normal ears. Cat Noir wears a textured black skin-tight catsuit with metal details. He wears matching gloves that have claws on the fingertips and boots with a hidden wedge, silver toes, and paw-shaped treads. He has a golden bell on his neck, connected to a zipper on the front of his costume, and a long belt that wraps around his waist and hangs out from the back like a tail. He wears black cat ears and a black mask around his eyes. He'd pose at the end of his transformation.
Juliette would be on the phone with her friend, Renée. "Renée, I'm so sorry to do this, but there's an akuma attack."
"Oh! Okay, we can chat after," Renée let out.
"Thanks!" Juliette said, before hanging up. "Okay, Leena, it's time to transform!"
"You know the words, Juliette!" Leena let out.
"Oh yes, I do! Leena, LET'S ROAR!" Juliette exclaimed, as her transformation into her alter-ego began. Leena would be absorbed into the barrette, which turned gold, and looked like a lion's paw. Juliette's eyes turned hazel, and became cat-like, and her platinum blonde hair was taken out of its braid, turning auburn, and becoming straight. Her clothes would be soon be replaced with a sleeveless golden and strapless dress that reached to her knees, and golden arm-length gloves with black claws on them. She also had long black boots, that had a golden lion logo on the back of each boot. A golden belt would be wrapped around her waist, and it had a long, lion tail attached to it. There were two holsters on her dress; each of them contained a dagger. Finally, a golden superhero mask would appear over her face. She would pose once her transformation was complete.
"Occa, STREAKS ON!" Roland let out, as his transformation into his alter-ego would begin.
Occa is absorbed into the silver oval hair clip: which turns black and the inside turns a golden yellow. It has 5 rosettes inside.
Roland soon wore a golden yellow suit with large streak spots on the arms, torso, back, and legs that have a thick black outline and are light yellow in the middle. He has a light yellow middle section down his middle that goes slightly down his thighs before curving under him and partly up his butt. Around his waist is a belt-like structure that holds a long tail that is golden yellow with black spots. His tail is very heavy and usually used for leverage, but can be removed to wield like a flail. He wore tall boots that point up to his knees with a black heel and a light metallic yellow toe that are fashioned like paws.
The sole of his boots also have paws on the bottom. His collar is black and goes up his neck; though it comes down in the middle with a diamond shape around the middle of his collar bone. His mask is heavily marked like an ocelot's face with black and white markings on golden yellow. His eyes gain a blue sclera and turn to slits like a cat's do. He has fake ocelot ears including oceli on the back of them. His hair also gets long and shaggier, the longest parts on both sides of his head gain a golden yellow ombre at the ends. He has gauntlets with heavily armored fingers joints and knuckles that end with sharp claws at the ends. He would pose at the end of his transformation.
The four heroes would land at the top of a building.
"Okay, LB, what's the plan?" Ocelot asked.
"Try to get the akumatized object without being turned into a zombie," Ladybug responded. "LUCKY CHARM!" she shouted, throwing her yo-yo into the air. Magical ladybugs would surround the yo-yo, before an object dropped into her hand. "It's a...stuffed bear?"
"What an interesting Lucky Charm. What does it mean?" Lionne asked.
Ladybug would look around, and the ladybug pattern would appear on a hidden Leo.
"I think we're gonna need some help. Try to hold off Mindwipe. I'll be back," Ladybug said.
"You've got it, m'lady," Cat Noir winked.
Ladybug would use her yo-yo to swing over to Master Fu and Marianne at the teahouse.
"Spots off," Ladybug said, as she entered the teahouse.
"Ladybug?" Master Fu asked.
"Master Fu, Marianne, the lucky charm told me to come here to get a Miraculous," Marinette said.
"The lucky charm never lies," Marianne smiled, as she and Master Fu would get out their Miraculous boxes, opening them.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Pick a Miraculous that will help you, Cat Noir, Ocelot, and Lionne alongside you on this mission," Master Fu began.
"Choose wisely. The Miraculous must not be put into evil hands," Marianne continued.
"Once the mission is over, you will retrieve the Miraculous from that person, and return it to us," Master Fu concluded.
"We need something powerful, something that can help Mindwipe return to normal," Marinette began, before seeing the Bear Miraculous. "This is the one!"
"Do you have someone in mind, Marinette?" Marianne asked.
"I do," Marinette responded.
Master Fu and Marianne nodded, with the older woman grabbing a small box to put the Bear Miraculous in.
"Okay, let's do this. Tikki, Spots ON! Yeah!" Marinette exclaimed, as she transformed into her alter-ego, as her clothes would be replaced with her wearing a red superhero jumpsuit covered in black spots and with a black collar/turtleneck. Her yo-yo was wrapped around her waist with a red string. On her face is a red mask with five black spots that are in a symmetrical design, and the waterlines of her eyes are coloured black. Her earrings are red with five black spots in a quincunx pattern, and the bands holding her hair back become red ribbons, resembling a ladybug's antennas or a ladybug flying when she's moving. Her eyes became a vivid azure. She would pose at the end of her transformation. She would then put the box into her yo-yo, to keep it safe.
Leo would be pacing in his hiding spot, worried. When he heard the sound of a person landing behind him, he turned around, raising his fists. "Who's there?"
"Whoa!" Ladybug held up her hands in defence. "Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you."
Leo lowered his hands. "Oh, sorry, Ladybug. I thought you were either Mindwipe or one of her zombies."
"Don't worry, I'm not," Ladybug reassured him. "But that's not why I'm here. Cat Noir, Lionne, Ocelot and I need your help to stop Mindwipe."
"I'll do whatever it takes to save my girlfriend," Leo nodded.
"Do you know what the akumatized object is?" Ladybug asked.
"It's a necklace I gave her. It's a white double-stringed necklace with a pink heart-shaped pendant surrounded by a golden heart-shaped frame with a loop."
"Alright, you'll have to help us get it," Ladybug nodded, before opening up her yo-yo, taking out the box. "Leo Garcia, this is the Miraculous of the Bear, which grants the power of Earth Manipulation. You will use it for the greater good. Once the mission is complete, you will return the Miraculous to me. Can I trust you?"
"Yes, you can," Leo nodded, taking the box.
Ladybug would give a smile and a nod.
Leo would open up the box to reveal a simple dark brown anklet with a single bead with a bear's paw on it. A brown light would come from it, and he shielded his eyes to avoid getting blinded.
"Whoa!" he let out.
When the light faded, he would soon see a tiny brown bear that was about 10 inches tall, and he would grin.
"Roar! Let's cause the earth to move!"
"What are you?" Leo asked.
"My name's Groowl, and I'm your Kwami! I grant the power of Earthquake, which will cause an earthquake underneath your opponent's feet. If they're in the air, the power will force them down to the ground," Groowl said.
"That's so cool!" Leo was wide-eyed, stars in his eyes.
"To activate your power, all you have to do is clench your fists, and say 'Earthquake!'" Groowl grinned.
"Groowl, we don't have a lot of time. Mindwipe may have added Cat Noir, Lionne, and Ocelot to her side!" Ladybug exclaimed.
"I'm getting there, Ladybug," Groowl let out. "Anyway, to transform, all you have to say is 'Groowl, Let's Prowl!' To detransform, all you have to say is 'Groowl, Prowl's Over.'"
Leo would put the anklet on his right foot, and it automatically went into camouflage mode, which would be a light brown knotted anklet.
"Groowl, Let's Prowl!" Leo shouted, as Groowl would be absorbed into the anklet, which would turn dark brown, with a single bead that had a bear's paw on it. He would touch his glasses, which would turn into a dark brown mask, and he would have his clothes replaced with a dark brown bodysuit with light brown accents. He wore short brown gloves, and dark brown boots. His hair turned messy, and he had fake bear ears. His weapon would appear in his right hand, which would be a pair of large double staffs. He would pose at the end of his transformation.
"Welcome to the team, uh..." Ladybug let out.
The transformed Leo would think for a moment. "Call me...Orso!"
"Orso is perfect. Come on, let's go and stop Mindwipe," Ladybug said, using her yo-yo to swing back over to the battle.
Orso would follow her, jumping along the roofs.
The two would soon arrive back to Cat Noir, Lionne, and Ocelot, who had managed to block all of Mindwipe's attacks.
"Thank goodness you're back, LB!" Lionne let out. "Who's the newbie?"
"This is Orso," Ladybug introduced.
"Nice to meet you, Orso, welcome to the team," Lionne flashed a toothy grin.
"I'm glad to be here," Orso responded. "I know what the akumatized object is."
"Oh good, we need that knowledge," Cat Noir said. "What is it?"
"It's a beautiful white double-stringed necklace with a pink heart-shaped pendant surrounded by a golden heart-shaped frame with a loop," Orso responded.
"Oh my goodness, that's so beautiful," Lionne let out. "I hope my boyfriend can treat me like a princess."
"I'm sure he might," Ocelot smiled at her.
"Focus! We need to stop Mindwipe!" Ladybug let out.
"Sorry, LB," Ocelot let out, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Argh, you got another one?!" Mindwipe looked annoyed.
"I have a name, you know," Orso deadpanned, crossing his arms across his chest. "It's Orso."
"Whatever," Mindwipe rolled her eyes. "I'm going to take your Miraculous as well. Hawk Moth will be so proud of me, for not only getting the four he wants; but a bonus one too! Get them, minions!"
"I don't think so! LUCKY CHARM!" Ladybug shouted, throwing her yo-yo into the air. Magical ladybugs would surround the yo-yo, before an object dropped into her hands. "It's a ray gun? What am I supposed to do with this?"
"If we can aim the ray gun to hit our weapons, we can ricochet the blast to hit Mindwipe," Orso suggested.
"It will totally work with my daggers," Lionne gave a toothy grin. "Good thinking, Orso."
Orso nodded, clenching his fists together. "EARTHQUAKE!"
The ground would immediately begin to rumble, as jagged rocks would open up from the ground.
"Hey!" Mindwipe screamed, as she would be forced onto the ground. Her army would be tripping over the rocks, struggling to get up.
"KINESIS!" Ocelot exclaimed, charging up his gauntlets, and charging forward to punch her.
"Get...off...me!" Mindwipe growled.
"LION'S SCRATCH!" Lionne shouted, paralyzing the villain in her tracks, before grabbing the necklace around Mindwipe's neck. "Your move, Cat Noir!" she shouted, tossing the necklace over.
"CATACLYSM!" Cat Noir shouted, as he destroyed the necklace. The akuma butterfly would flutter out, trying to escape.
"No more evildoing for you, little akuma," Ladybug began, as she opened up her yo-yo, spinning it around. "time to DEEVILZE!"
The akuma tried to flutter away, but it was no match for Ladybug's yo-yo, which closed upon capturing the akuma.
"Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly," Ladybug said, as she released the now purified butterfly. She would then take the ray gun in her hand, throwing it up into the air. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"
Magical ladybugs would go around Paris, fixing all of the damage that had been done, and freeing the citizens from Mindwipe's control. It would also fix the broken white double-stringed necklace with a purple-heart shaped pendant surrounded by a black and golden heart shaped frame with a loop, restoring it to its normal form; which was a white double-stringed necklace with a pink heart-shaped pendant surrounded by a golden heart-shaped frame with a loop. The dark purple ether would cover Mindwipe, turning her back into Maria.
"What am I doing here?" she asked, confused.
The five heroes smiled at one another. "POUND IT!"
Under the fluttering wingbeats, Hawk Moth growled and his cane creaked under the pressure of his grip. He clasped a hand over his brooch, and his voice rumbled against the metal walls. "Curse you all! I will get your Miraculouses! One day!"
Orso would go over to Maria, picking up the necklace and passing it over to her. "Here, I think this belongs to you."
"Thank you, um..." Maria blinked, adjusting her glasses. "Who are you?"
"My name's Orso," the bear hero replied.
"Wait, where's Leo?" Maria looked around. "Oh no...did I scare him away?"
"No, no, it's okay, Leo's safe. We can go and grab him," Ladybug reassured the young girl.
All of their Miraculouses, excluding Lionne's, would begin to beep.
"We need to get going before we reveal our identities," Ladybug said.
"I can take her home, I didn't use my timer power," Lionne said.
"Sounds good," Ladybug nodded. "Orso, come with me."
"Yes, Ladybug," the bear hero nodded, following after the spotted heroine.
The two of them would soon land in an alleyway.
"Groowl, Prowl's Over," Orso said, detransforming back into Leo.
The tired Kwami came out of the anklet.
"Man, I'm starving," Groowl groaned.
"Uh..." Leo blinked.
"Don't worry, Groowl, I'm sure the Guardian will have some sardines for you," Ladybug reassured the bear kwami.
"Alright, let me get into my Miraculous," Groowl said, as Leo took off the anklet, and the Kwami would absorb back into it.
Leo passed the Miraculous over towards Ladybug, who put it into her yo-yo. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Leo nodded.
"Bug out," Ladybug said, leaving with her yo-yo.
In an unknown location...
Devon Aire would be looking at an ancient book. "Huh...there's a spell in here that can bring this...Firefly Miraculous to me. Let's test it out. Apparently, I have to say it backwards, and in Latin? Whatever."
He cleared his throat.
"OTNAC, IDUAXE MUTERCED MULUCARIM ALLETS DA EM!"
The wind would be blowing around. Devon huffed. "This better work..."
Master Fu's Teahouse...
"Thank you, Ladybug," Marianne said to Marinette, as she took the anklet back.
"Marianne, your Miraculous box is glowing!" Master Fu said.
"What?" Marianne would hurry over to open the box. She gasped. "No, Flipp!"
"Flipp?" Marinette asked, a bit confused.
"He's the Firefly Kwami. His Miraculous is a tie pin," Marianne let out.
"I remember, Master Fu showed me the tie pin!" Marinette was wide-eyed.
"Flipp must have fallen into evil hands!" Marianne sobbed.
"This is bad, right?" Marinette asked.
"Very bad. We'll need to release the Dove Miraculous," Master Fu said.
"But who will get it?" Marinette asked.
"That...is a good question. Inform your teammates, and the four of you can search for someone who you think will be worthy of the Dove Miraculous. It will have to be a female, though," Marianne said.
"Got it," Marinette nodded.
In an unknown location...
Devon Aire would be pacing around, until there was a sound. He turned around, and would notice the tie pin.
"This is the Firefly Miraculous?" He scoffed. "Whatever. At least I have it." He would look at the spell book again. "Eventually, I can use the spell to bring me this...Scorpion Miraculous. But I'll need an ally."
Devon would pick up the tie pin, and a light came from it. He growled, covering his eyes with his free hand to avoid getting blinded. Soon, a tiny firefly-like creature appeared, and Devon uncovered his eyes.
"Who are you?!"
"I'm Flipp, and I'm the Firefly Kwami," the Kwami answered.
"Tell me how to activate your powers," the man demanded.
"You can corrupt fireflies and use them to turn people into your followers," Flipp answered, afraid.
"You know what? I should use this...maybe I'll become as powerful as Hawk Moth...and Mayura." Devon smirked. He looked at the spell book once again. "It looks like if I want to achieve more power, I need to get the Miraculous of the Dove. Perhaps the people I corrupt can get it for me."
"B-but...you can't! The Miraculouses are meant to be used for good!" Flipp let out.
"Who owns you now?" Devon gave him a harsh glare. "I do. So you answer to me."
"Y-yes, master," Flipp bowed his head fearfully.
Devon gave a cruel smile. "Now, tell me how to activate your powers."
"Y-you have to say, 'Flipp, Lights On', to transform. 'Flipp, Lights Off' will turn you back to normal. I recharge with broccoli."
"Fine, I can get you that," Devon rolled his eyes. "But I have a better saying." He would take off his ascot, to put on the tie pin. "Flipp, Dark Lights ON!"
"Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Flipp screamed, as he would be absorbed into the tie pin. Devon's clothing would soon be replaced with a brown and gold suit, along with a light gold cape, and a golden staff. His eyes turned gold, and there would be a dark gold mask over his eyes.
"Oh, this is so...wicked! From this moment on...you can call me...Luciérnaga!"
Later that night, at patrol...
"Another villain?" Cat Noir groaned, annoyed.
"Unfortunately," Ladybug sighed.
"What are we gonna do?" Lionne asked.
"The Guardian has instructed me that we need to be on the lookout for a female who will be worthy of wielding the Miraculous of the Dove. Apparently, the Dove's power can return corrupted fireflies to normal."
"Just like your yo-yo can return amoks and akumas to normal!" Cat Noir was wide-eyed.
"Right," Ladybug nodded.
"Okay, let's start searching," Lionne said. "I'm sure it won't take long to find someone worthy."
"I hope so," Ladybug sighed.
"We'll get it back, m'lady," Cat Noir reassured her.
Leo would go over to his girlfriend, who ran over to him, smiling. "I passed! With flying colors!"
"I told you that you would!" Leo smiled, lifting up his girlfriend, and spinning her around.
Maria laughed, with a smile.
"Ugh, you passed," Madison snarled, stomping back into the house.
"Let me guess, your plan to seduce my professor failed?" Maria asked.
"He put a restraining order on me!" Madison stomped her foot.
"Too bad for you," Maria grinned.
"I hate you," Madison growled, slamming the door to her room.
"She'll get over it," Leo laughed.
"Hopefully, but I know my sister. She'll never change," Maria rolled her eyes.
And scene! I bet you weren't expecting this! Now, the four heroes will have to deal with Luciérnaga! Who will wield the Dove Miraculous? All will be answered soon...
In the next chapter, a young man named Kaiden Greenwood proposes to his boyfriend, named Brayden, when a stranger hits on Brayden, refusing to leave them alone; and ignoring Kaiden's pleas to leave his fiancé. Hawk Moth senses his negative emotions, and akumatizes the young man into "Prince Crystallizer," a villain who has the power to turn people into crystal statues. When he slams his staff on the ground, they activate, and turn into his army. Ladybug, Lionne, Ocelot, and Cat Noir will need the help of the Greenwood siblings, as they tell the heroes that Kaiden is their cousin. Lauren is able to become Pink Flamingo again, and Christopher receives the Miraculous of the Elephant, which grants the power of Shockwave. Will the six heroes be able to save the day?
