Chapter 27 Surprise Racer

Nobu was doing mantinence on the tridoron and Krim said:"Good, it's always good to fix it after a while."
"Yeah, your lucky I'm able to fix cars."Nobu said.
"Hey Nobu."Hikari calls out to him."Your doll is starting to act up again."
"Okay."he then closes the tridoron and goes to check on her.
At the outside was a young man with short black hair, he was wearing jeans and a black jacket."So this is where Drive is."
He then heard someonone come out making him hide.
Chase comes out and looks around before, he then heard a voice:"Hey."He looks back to see the guy.
"Who are you?"Chase said and he could tell he isn't human.
"I'm Dash."he said."Tell Drive to meet me at the bridge, we'll be alone there."
"Why should I allow you?"Chase said.
"You don't know if I'm a enemy or not, but if it's for the best he comes."Dash said before walking away.
Chase stares at him before he goes back inside.
Everyone was together and Nobu said:"Wait, so this Dash guy wants me to come and meet him at the bridge."
"But him saying there won't be anyone there."Nanami said.
"It might be a trap."Natsu said.
"But many people might get hurt if I don't, so if anything happens I'll call."Nobu said."Also take care of the kids."
They nodded and he then drives off inside the tridoron.
He goes through the city and then sees the bridge.
"Be careful Nobu."Krim said.
"I know."he said.
They then stopped at the entrance and Nobu came out, he looks around before he sawe Dash making him surprised since he looks exactly like the one from Power Rangers Time Force.
"So you finaly came."Dash said.
"Yeah, what did you want from me?"Nobu asked.
Dash then points behind him and Nobu saw a custom made race car with turbo jets on the back.
"I want a race."Dash said.
"You want to me race?"Nobu got surprised.
"Yes, I heard your a pretty good driver and the tridoron is one of the fastest cars, so let's try that out."Dash said.
Nobu looks at him before he goes inside the tridoron and he drives foward to Dash's car and he goes inside it.
"Now here's how it's going to be."He then changes into his true form."We're going to race to the other side, then we will have a special second race."
"Second race?"Nobu said.
"Come on, unless your too slow."Dash said.
Nobu then looks at him angry."Oh you so did not say that."
They then rev up the engines before they blasted off, they raced together as they tried to pass each other, Tridoron goes foward before Dash passes him, Nobu then does a turn making him goes next to Dash, he then saw tunnel in the middle of the bridge and smirks.
"Nobu!"Krim got worried and he then moves to the right making him drive on the walls.
"What the?"Dash got surprised and Nobu then runs foward and he then spins around the tridoron before he lands foward fo Dash.
"Well I'll be darned, I never thought you would do that."Dash said.
"I'm the 5 time racing champ, I never lost a race."Nobu said.
"Impressive, well then how about we go to the second part."Dash said.
Then a portal opened surprising Nobu.
"We are going to the second part of this race."Dash said."I have picked a perfect place where we can truly test our skills without the MBI watching us, they would soon find out about us being here despite the jammers, so let's go."
"Oh no."Nobu said and they went inside the portal.
They then traveled through a tunnel before they were seperated, the tridoron then comes out and he arrives at a deserted area.
"This is why you should have listen to me."Krim said.
"Hey I'm sorry, but at least we're here."Nobu said.
He then looks around and he saw a city in the distance, he then drives foward to the city and he stops at the edge of it, he then goes inside it and looks around.
"Okay it looks normal."Nobu said and he then saw a poster in a wall, it was about a race with many cars driving."Wacky Races."
It sounded weird to him but then it clicked."This is the race, Dash said he wanted to race me in a more perfect race so this is where he wants to race me."He then goes to take a closer look."Okay, it's going to be through the desert, then to a jungle before stopping at a city."
"Excuse me."he then looks back and he get surprised, he then saw a woman with blonde hair with pink driving clothes."Are you going to participate into the race?"
"Oh yeah, I was interested."Nobu said."Sorry I'm rude my name is Nobuharu Fudo, but my friends call me Nobu."
"Well Nobu my name is Penelope Pistop."she said."So where's your car?"
"Over there."he points at the Tridoron and she sees it.
"Ooh, I like the design."She said.
"Why thank you."Nobu said and he saw a pink car with lips at the front."Yours?"
"Yes, I made it look cute."She said."But I should warn you theres this mean racer called Dick Dastardly who cheats all the time."
"With a name like that, no wonder he's even allowed."Nobu said.
She then giggles."Your funny."
"Thanks."He chuckles.
"Well how about we know each other more, I can even show you where you can sign up."Penelope said.
"Wow, thanks."he said.
They went together and she then helped him register for the race, Nobu then painted a number 11 on his car for the race and Penelope was checking on her make up giving him a chance to talk with Krim.
"So if we join this race we can find Dash again."Krim said.
"Yes, he wanted to race against me, so it must be why he brought us here, so have a challenge."Nobu said.
"Yes, but let's see what these Wacky racers can do."Krim said.
"Nobu."They heard Penelope.
"She's coming."Nobu then turns around with a smile."Yes."
"I was thinking we could try this cafe, it serves nice tea there."She said.
"Oh sure."He said.
They went together, they then arrived at the place and they ordered a tea for each one.
She tries her tea and said:"Hmm, it's so good."
"Yes."he tastes his tea."Your a interestig girl Penelope."
"Why thank you."She said.
They then saw a blue and red car come by, they then saw the driver."Why good morning Penelope."
"Good Morning Peter."She said.
"Say who's your new friend?"Peter asked.
"Oh this is Nobu, he'll be joining the race."She said.
"Well, it's good to have some new competition."Peter said."Well good luck."He then drives away.
Nobu stares at the shape of his car and said."I'm not going to say anything."
"What?"she got confused.
"Oh nothing."he said not wanting to say anything about the big junk car.
"Okay."She shrugs.
"Well how many racers more racers do you know?"He asked.
"Well theres these nice men called the Ant Hill Mob, theres also Professor Pat."she said naming a few drivers.
"Professor, that means he has his own special made car."Nobu said.
She nodded."It can have wings and can other science stuff."
"Good to know."Nobu smiled since he could use his cars full potential.
"So what can you car do?"Penelope asked.
"Well I like to keep a few surprises but it can change it's wheels for special purposes, like if theres a rocky terrain."Nobu said.
"That's helpful."Penelope said."My car have some many make up options for me."
"With a pretty face like that I don't know why you even try."He said.
"Oh you."She blushes a bit.
"I'm hopping if a certain someone comes."Nobu said.
"Is it a friend?"she asked.
"More like a rival, he wanted to race me so we went to try the Wacky Races."Nobu said.
"Oh he must be a interesting one."She said.
"Yes he is."he nodded.
They spent some time together before they had to leave but they'll see each other at the race.
Nobu went to the tridoron and goes to see Krim.
"Okay, we can use the full potential of the tridoron since some of the cars use weapons and gadgets."Nobu said.
"Well that should be easy for us then, the tridoron is equipped with many gear that should let us win."Krim said.
"Yes, we should be careful is against Dash once he comes."Nobu then looks around."But I wonder where he went."
"He will come with the way he acted, as you said he wanted to race you."Krim said.
"Yeah, good thing the race is only a few hours so let's get started."Nobu rubs his hands together.
They then practice around the area for a bit before they drive towards where the race will be held.
Dash was on the other side driving towards the city in his human form."Let's have a good race Drive."he smirks.
