Why hello there! It's me, King Michael Theodore Mouse! But you can just call me Mickey. Ha-ha!
Were you expecting someone else? Well, I don't blame ya. It's been 5 years since the last Kingdom Hearts game... and those years were not all that great to live in.
Things have been rough in the Magic Kingdom, to say the least, and in this time of great sorrow, I passed away in my sleep, knowing that the dream we once shared was now in ruins.
But thanks to the power of the PUBLIC DOMAIN, which punched a hole in the fabric of reality...
I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!
And it's time to SET THINGS RIGHT.
In both the real world, and in fiction!
You wouldn't just forget about me now, would ya? Now that I'm part of the public domain, the possibilities are endless!
It would be real nice if you'd share some of these new memories with your old friend. That happens to be me, of course!
So let's get to brainstorming! You know what the motto is... if you can dream it, YOU CAN DO IT!
That's Mickey's surprise comeback for everyone. Now for some important news on my fanfic project schedule.
Happy Star Wars Day, everyone! It's May The Fourth, and on this day, we celebrate one of the most profitable intellectual properties in all of media, entertainment and pop culture.
Thinking back about how so many of us owe our childhood wonders and memories to a galaxy far, far away made me consider reviving a crossover story idea that I initially wanted to stay dead forever, never to be updated again.
I've gotten back into Star Wars fever recently, binge watching the Clone Wars animated series, and I'm also planning on playing Kingdom Hearts again for a bit of JRPG and Disney nostalgia.
It's time to return to the Five Kingdoms.
The Heart and Soul shine in the darkness, will you answer the call? The Imagineers need you!
And if this change of direction somehow motivates me to write more, then it's all worth it.
With all that being said, though, is it possible for the Walt Disney Company to recover from its catastrophic failures and mistakes in the last few years? That's one of the main reasons I abandoned this dream game concept... Disney Company was perfectly fine with alienating its fans, descending into terrible levels of mediocrity, and losing all that value, of both the monetary and creative aspects. Their 100th anniversary was somehow their WORST year ever.
Disney Company could've averted their disastrous downfall if they made different choices in the past, that's something a lot of us can agree with. But there's no point in arguing over spilled milk.
The point is, I felt like doing something special on this platform for May The 4th, and since Star Wars is still owned by Disney, that special surprise was inevitably going to involve the Magic Kingdom multiverse concept I built way back in 2021, before I even started publishing my fanfiction.
Here's a summary of what's gonna happen next:
Continuing from where the story left off, when the Imagineer Order narrowly escaped the destruction of Coruscant and all of Freedomland, and Han Solo led the way flying the Millennium Falcon with a big ragtag band of other characters on board, Frisk and Sora will be chosen to speak to the Fairy Godmother halfway across the multiverse, to uncover the truth about the nameless evil and his grand scheme.
Using a Kingdom Keyhole aboard the Falcon to traverse the vast distance in an instant, the two young Imagineers are in for the shock of their lives, even after seeing a world-devouring catastrophe. The horrifying truth that the whole multiverse is on the brink of total war, all thanks to 6 colorful pebbles, is not something they took lightly.
Frisk and Sora's next task after acquiring vital information from the Fairy Godmother is to use another Keyhole to rendezvous with Han Solo's crew in San Fransokyo, the biggest far-future city in Tomorrowland, to join a mission of paramount importance, one week before Patriot Day, the most celebrated local holiday.
The Imagineers have split up into 5 different teams to search for the Infinity Stones of Power and Time, and they have to find them before Zalgo the Nameless's followers, the Doom Leaguers, start showing up in the city with the same goal in mind.
Time is running out...
Only YOU can stop the rampage of the Heartless and save the Magic Kingdoms!
Thanks for sticking around and reading my stuff. I'm still not entirely sure on whether I should revive Five Kingdoms or not, but I have a strong feeling that I will have a good time bringing back this story, and that's what matters.
Tell me what you think in the reviews!
