Keys To The Truth (continued from previous chapter)

In the midst of the tense flight, Han Solo interrupted Frisk's dialogue with Kim Possible and the other Imagineers on board the Millennium Falcon to mention a key detail (that's also a pun!)

"Padawan Frisk, your friend Sora might have an easier and faster way to get us to the Fairy Godmother. I'll let him elaborate."

"This better be good news!," the androgynous apprentice replied, somewhat sardonically.

In his hand, Sora held a single, seemingly ordinary key on a chain.

"While we were evacuating from Coruscant, I snatched this Kingdom Key which happened to be left behind in the super vehicle hangar's repair shop. I don't know who this belongs to, but the point is, it will allow two of us on the Falcon to instantly travel to anywhere in the multiverse a total of 10 times."

This caught the attention of the whole ship's crew. All eyes were on Sora, since he now possessed a sample of one of the Imagineer Order's rarest, most miraculous inventions, which was much harder to replicate than the heroic organization's signature Dreamforge devices and lightsabers.

"Frisk, I think you should come with me to find the Fairy Godmother and see what valuable intel she has to offer. Only two people can fit in a Kingdom Keyhole, after all, and by doing this, we'll enable Captain Solo's crew to focus on other crucial missions."

"Sounds like a splendid idea!," the holographic C-3PO exclaimed.

"The droid's right about that," Buzz Lightyear added. "The Order is sending every agent currently available to Tomorrowland, and Star Command's headquarters is getting moved there. Something big is going on down there, and we need to get to the bottom of it."

"All the better for you two to be sent off on your own mission," Kim Possible concluded.

"If the Fairy Godmother has anything of value to tell you, remember it at all costs," said Iron Man, reminding everyone of what was at stake in this cosmic crisis. "The data she has to offer could be the difference between salvation and annihilation for the Imagineer Order. We need to know what she knows."

"For all we know, Tomorrowland could be our incomprehensible enemy's next target," Luke Skywalker told Frisk and Sora, ending the discussion. "Speak with the Fairy Godmother, and after you're done with your chat, rendezvous with us in San Fransokyo, where the Patriot Day celebration will be taking place in a week or so. Your Kingdom Key should have more than enough stored magic to make two trips... but nevertheless, always be on guard."

"May the Force be with you."

Sora flicked and spun the keychain around, and a keyhole-shaped portal opened in the Falcon's hull.

"Don't worry," Frisk told everyone. "We've GOT THIS COVERED."

"I guess this is our first true mission together as junior Imagineers," Sora said. "And already we've got so much responsibility on our shoulders! I mean, the multiverse might be on the brink of total war!"

"Well, to be fair, our masters said that the selfless path isn't the easiest path," Frisk replied. "Now let's get going!"

And with that, the two Padawans with courage, kindness and determination in their hearts stepped into the mind, and braced themselves for the shock of the unknown...
