After Many Dates Danny and Angelica
In a Wayne Tech laboratory workers were going peacefully about their work until an explosion tore apart a wall a group of armored men burst in blasting at the wall hitting no one thankfully as they were all terrible shots
Their leader a smaller figure stepped through the hole pointing "secure the equipment" the figure said
The men moved towards a one of the machines in the lab when a batarang flies through the air stopping the man in his tracks
The men look up to see Batman and Batgirl the men try to attack the two dark knights with their laser weapons but like before the scientists they can't hit either of the protectors of Gotham
Batgirl swung towards the smaller one hitting him with a kick the figure flew back his helmet came off as he hit the wall
Batgirls eye's widened "that can't be"
The armored figure stood up his face exposed Danny Fenton grinned at Batgirl pulling out a smoke bomb "Hail Hydra" he said throwing the bomb down releasing a cloud of smoke into the lab when it cleared the agents of Hydra reminded
Suddenly everything around began moving in reverse the smoke began to gather in the center the smoke bomb flew back up into Danny's hand he grinned at Batgirl
"Hail Hydra" Danny said
Danny watched what happened on the screen what looked like him on the screen but it couldn't be him he would never attack Batgirl
He would never join HYDRA seriously one of his best friends was Jewish why would he join someone like HYDRA that would be insane
"That's not me" Danny told to the agent who had arrested him agent Coulson after he had showed him the footage of Danny supposedly attacking a lab in Gotham
"Can you tell me where you were at this time" Coulson asked pointing to the time stamp
'Chasing Skulker through the sewers' Danny thought knowing he couldn't say that out loud not without exposing his secret identity
"I was home asleep" Danny lied
Agent Coulson frowned slightly "I'll be back" he said
Phil Coulson stepped out of the interrogation room of the Amity Park police station as he closed the door behind him Daisy looked at him "well how did it go"
Coulson frowned "not too sure at the moment while I'm not entirely sure he did it the kid isn't being honest"
Coulson was hesitant about going after this tip on the HYDRA attack in Gotham from another agency
Fury had asked him to look into it and Fitz Simmons had looked over the footage a number of times declaring it was authentic with no real technology being used and no other leads besides Danny Fenton
Coulson looked to Daisy "think you can take a crack at this kid" he asked
Daisy nodded looking skeptical "ok but where are you going"
Coulson walked over to the door "I'm going to get some answers about Danny Fenton"
Tucker was working on his computer to download a new upgrade for his PDA sure some people say that PDA's were going out of style and that smart phones were the way of the future but Tucker being a techno geek didn't give into the hype
He's heard it before how this new machine or that new machine were going to be the way of the future only to end up outdated in a couple of months he wouldn't be getting a smart phone just yet
Besides PDA's were awesome they weren't going anywhere
Tucker was kicking back maybe thinking of calling his girlfriend Velma they hadn't really seen each other much since their second date where they picked each other as their perfect match
Tucker was about to pick up his phone when it started ringing looking at the caller ID Tucker recognized the number in a second as Sam's
Oh boy
He never filled in Sam about the dating service and more specifically Danny having used the dating service at his begging and pleading sure it worked out for the guy he ended up with twenty seven awesome girls
Well twenty eight but Katie Kaboom freaked Danny out beyond belief Jazz said it was some kind of minor phobia caused by his powers being totally ineffective against the super strong and super green Katie Kaboom who may or may not be some long lost relative of the Hulk the more Tucker thought about it
But still Katie Kaboom was a million times better than some creep like Cree Lincoln who hit kids half her age
Seriously who does something so nasty and sick even Dash didn't pick on elementary school kids wow it was kind of weird sticking up for Dash Baxter of all people
While Tucker had been lost in his thoughts the phone had stopped and started ringing again
"Oh right Sam" Tucker said worried that something might have happened to one of his best friends like she got into trouble or was abducted by supervillains or WORSE had found out somehow about Danny's girlfriend Angelica
Either way not good not good at all
Tucker decided to face the angry wrath of Sam Manson head on and answered the phone "Hello" he said nervously
"Tucker why'd you take so long to answer it's an emergency" Sam's voice said sounding at a higher pitch than usual and she sounded worried
The girl who faced down a giant dragon ghost who wanted to either marry her after barbecuing Danny like it was just another day and now she sounded worried
"Whats wrong" Tucker asked
"It's Dannys cousin I found her in Paris and well she's not doing so good" Sam said
'Danielle' Tucker thought worried sure he didn't really know her that well but she saved his best friends life twice that made her an honorary member of the team and if Sam was worried than there must be something wrong with the little clone girl
"What happened" Tucker asked
"I noticed a little shadow at first I thought it was a local ghost and was harmless but most ghosts don't jump in to stop a runaway train from crashing" Sam said sounding worried and furious
Tucker sounded worried too Danielle got hit by a TRAIN
Danny wasn't going to be happy with that but wait if she was a clone of Danny and her body was stabilized by Mr. Fentons Ecto Dejecto she should be fine and healing
"She should be fine except the person who caused the runaway train was a spoiled brat whose worse than Paulina that somehow got superpowers" Sam explained with the same hateful tone she usually used to describe Paulina but worse
"Apparently she wanted to cause an accident to stop it and prove herself to the local superheroes" Sam said every syllable making her sound more and more angry Tucker couldn't blame her he was angry at this person too
Putting peoples lives in danger just to make yourself look good that sounded like something Vlad would do
"I think Danny and Dani might have a weakness to magic because when that blonde brat hit her Dani just collapsed I grabbed her and I'm bringing her home for medical treatment Tucker I need you to get everyone out of the ops center tell Jazz about Dani if you have to just do it my plane is landing in under an hour and I have Dani stabilized for now"
Tucker nodded getting up he was about to run out when he blinked "how'd you get someone who legally doesn't exist out of France" Tucker asked
He really doubted Vlad would go through the trouble of forging a paper trail for someone he thought was a mistake
"Private jet Tuck just get to the OPS center and see if you can get ahold of Danny I've been trying for hours and got nothing" Sam said before hanging up
Sam couldn't get ahold of Danny that was weird even if he was busy with lunch at his girlfriends house he would have picked up
Hopefully something wasn't wrong with Danny too
Danny sat in front of a new agent this one was admittedly a very attractive young woman not that he would ever consider flirting with someone while he was in a relationship he wasn't Kitty
The ghost not the pretty mutant who kissed him on their blind date
Anyways this new agent was looking through papers having been ignoring him for the last few minutes and it ticked him off
Which now that Danny thought about it might be the idea making him mad so he would give up valuable information about HYDRA
Not that he had any information since he WASN'T a member of HYDRA which is something he kept on telling these people that he wasn't HYDRA
The new agent Danny didn't get her name finally put down the papers in her hand Danny got a good look at them
They were about him his report cards transcripts even some pictures of him with Sam and Tucker
"You Mr. Fenton are a very interesting person in your freshman year a unprecedented number of absences cutting class disciplinary action" the agent reported
The agent showed him a picture of Danny being held up by Dash in the nasty burger Angelica in the background of the shot
"What did HYDRA promise you in order to get you to join them did they promise revenge that they'd get rid of your bully problem"
Danny frowned did they seriously think he would join people like HYDRA just to get revenge on Dash ok sure Danny himself has gotten revenge on Dash with his powers but that didn't mean he would attack Gotham
Or Barbara
Or innocent people
No Danny would never do that
"Look Agent-" Danny began
"Johnson" the agent said "Daisy Johnson"
Danny nodded "look Agent Johnson I am not a member of HYDRA I would never join HYDRA" Danny pleaded throwing his arms up in the air "what will it take for me to prove that anything I'll do it"
Agent Johnson smirked "I think we have a way"
Danny was brought by Agent Johnson into a room with the most high tech looking chair Danny had ever seen surrounded by computers
Danny had no idea if it was a video game system or the worlds worst torture device
"What is this thing" Danny asked looking unsure
"The worlds best lie detector it was designed so even the Black Widow couldn't trick it"
Danny almost let out a whistle Natasha Romanov better known as the Black Widow was one of the toughest heroes without powers on the planet
According to one rumors the internet she once fought Batman and won
Danny looked at the machine if this was all it took to get his good name exonerated than he'd do this crazy looking chair
"Hook me up" Danny said
Tucker rode as fast as he could to Fenton Works he turned down the corner seeing the OPs center in the distance surrounded by white trucks
The Guys in White Tucker realized what were they doing here Tucker stopped his scooter hiding it behind a dumpster he moved stealthily towards his best friends house seeing some of the Guys in White walking in and out of a truck
Out of a truck came a black blaster
Wait weren't these guys all about using white and why did that blaster look familiar when the agent left not even noticing that the blaster was on the ground Tucker walked over to the van and frowned inside of the van hanging on the sides of the wall like fish on hooks were suits of armor
HYDRA ARMOR
What was going on why was HYDRA here were they posing as the Guys in White were the Guys in White posing as HYDRA where were the Fentons and why wasn't Danny answering his phone
Taking a picture of the HYDRA armor Tucker snuck around towards the backdoor knowing where Mr. Fenton hid the key to get in Tucker snuck into the kitchen ducking down as one of the Guys in White walked by
Getting up off of his knees Tucker noticed alot of the Guys in White were going downstairs to the lab
Makes some sense he supposed they were supposed to be ghost hunters even if they were really really really bad at their job
Tucker surmised that they wanted something to do with the portal
Tucker snuck towards the basement door turning the camera on his PDA he pointed it in front of him slowly descending the stairs towards the lab seeing some members of the Guys in White trying to disassemble the Fenton Portal while the two who kept showing up Agents O and K were laughing
"Oh man I can't believe we were able to pull that off" Agent O said "I knew the Fentons were colossal morons but we got SHIELD too"
'SHIELD' Tucker thought they were real Tucker almost cheered he knew it but wait weren't the Guys in White on the same side why were they talking about tricking SHIELD
Agent K laughed too "true all we had to do to get the Fentons out our house and secure the portal for the government was frame their loser son for being a HYDRA agent with that shapeshifter ghost we caught"
'HYDRA' Tucker thought 'they got my best friend arrested to steal the Fenton portal
Tucker had to show this to someone but who how do you get in contact with a secret government organization that only conspiracy theorists online would say was real who had Danny wait they had Danny
Which means unless he forgot to charge his phone which he never did meant they had his phone Tucker quickly emailed the video to Danny's phone
"Come on come on" Tucker silently pleaded as the video downloaded
"Hey whose up there" an agent yelled
Tucker ran as fast as he could up the steps only to get tackled to the ground by an agent
Danny was unhooked from the lie detector Agent Johnson frowned helping Danny to his feet "Mr. Fenton i'd like to apologize for everything" she said "we were going off the evidence given to us bad evidence apparently" she said holding out her hand
Danny got it if the situations were reversed and he had been in SHIELDS position he probably would have done the same thing as Agents Coulson and Johnson had done
Danny reached out shaking her hand "it's ok Agent Johnson I understand" he said
Another SHIELD agent came in bringing Danny's personal effects his phone and his wallet Danny pocketed both Danny looked at his phone there were a dozen missed calls from Sam and an email from Tucker titled for SHIELD
Danny opened the email and frowned watching the video "Agent Johnson" Danny said getting her attention "I think you need to see this"
Showing her the video Agent Johnson growled the floor beneath Danny's feet began to rumble and shake Agent Johnson seemed to realize what she was doing stopping the quake
"Sorry Danny I usually have more control than this" she told him "but people like that" she made a disgusted sound "they're worse than HYDRA" she said infuriated Danny agreed he was angry too
Those morons framed him just to steal the ghost portal they could have hurt his family because they wanted his parents technology though they kept calling them morons
"Excuse me Agent Johnson" Danny said keeping his temper under control for a second "I've got to call my parents so they know I'm ok"
Danny left quickly hiding in an alley he transformed flying off his eyes glowing green with anger as he flew through the air at top speed faster than any car could go soon Fenton Works appeared in the distance coming closer and closer Danny pulled out his phone "security system activate authorization code D-Fenton" Danny said angrily into his phone
The phone screen changed to his dads face "Authorization Code accepted engaging all anti ecto security"
Inside of the Fentons lab Tucker was being held in the arms of some agent Agents O and K were glaring at him "you're Danny Fentons loser friend" one of them said
Tucker frowned "dude it's one thing when people my age call me a loser but you guys are adults have some maturity you're not in high school anymore" Tucker said
"Why should we high school was awesome" one of the agents said
'That explains a lot' Tucker thought annoyed suddenly an alarm started to blare
"Fenton anti creep security activated our special is fudge I mean pain" a robotic version of Mr. Fentons voice said Tucker recognized this from the beginning of summer with the reality gauntlet it was the anti ecto security system
Tucker smiled and these guys wouldn't remember it because of the reality gauntlet
Metal tentacles flew through the air grabbing some of the agents including the one grabbing Tucker
"Fire all Ecto weapons" Agent O said just like the last time
Wow Mr. Lancer was right history really DOES repeat itself as they tried firing their weapons at the lab the security system got more intense as fired ecctoplasmic goo trapping the agents together before it tied them together with tentacles a trap door opened underneath the agents feet they screamed as they fell through the trap door
Tucker looked down through the hole wondering where the hole went
The guys in white continued to scream as they were dumped into a sewer
"Oh no we're covered in filth again" Agent K said
"Well it can't get worse than this can it" Agent O said
Above them a man hole opened and Agent Coulson along with some other SHIELD agents looked down at the trapped agents "oh now I wouldn't say that gentlemen" he said
"Agent Coulson quick HYDRA agents are in the Fentons lab" Agent O tried saying thinking maybe they could trick the SHIELD agent
Coulson frowned "I know I'm looking at them" he said as he leapt down pulling out a pair of handcuffs "you're all under arrest" he said
Danny was being crushed he couldn't escape not against this
His moms hug
"Oh my baby my little boy" she said kissing him on the cheek over and over
Danny tried once again to escape but couldn't "I'm ok mom I promise" Danny kept telling her but his mom didn't want to let go of him his dad and Jazz weren't much better
"I told those government jerks that my son would never be apart of HYDRA" Jack said "no kid of Jack Fenton would work with criminals" he said looking to Agent Coulson and Agent Johnson glaring slightly at them
Danny finally managed to get out of his moms death hug "Dad it's not their fault they were just doing their job"
Agent Coulson held up a hand "your father has every right to be mad at us Danny our systems can't detect ecto energy something former agents O and K block our acquisition requests saying ghosts are our jurisdiction Coulson stay out of our way you Captain America loving hippy"
"So they're jerks to you guys too" Danny asked
Agent Johnson shrugged "they're jerks to everyone" she said irritated before walking over to Danny's dad "we'd be wiling to pay for any anti ghost technology you have top dollar"
"Really" Jack asked
"Really" Agent Coulson agreed Danny's parents got very excited forgetting all about their anger as they led Coulson down into their lab to explain in excruciating detail all about all of their gadgets and how they could help SHIELD
Danny laughed "sorry about my parents abducting your boss"
Agent Johnson just laughed "it's fine I doubt he minds" she said before pulling out a card handing it to Danny Danny frowned
"What's this" Danny asked
"It's my number call me if you ever need help" she said "though after everything I think there's a ghost of a chance you'll reach out for SHIELD help" she said Danny's eyes widened
How did she
The alley he didn't even think for all he knew they were tapped into the the cameras around the police station
Agent Johnson winked at him "don't worry Danny your secrets safe with me" she said with a smile Danny nodded
"Thank you" Danny said
Agent Johnson smiled at him "It's no problem" she said messing with Dannys hair "try to keep out of trouble kid" she said
Danny laughed "no promises" he said
Agent Johnson walked down towards the lab now that he was alone Danny rushed up towards the OPS center heading inside he saw Sam Tucker and Jazz
Jazz understandably looked annoyed because no one was giving her the answers she wanted
"Danny" Jazz said "will someone tell me what's going on here why is Sam back whose that kid and why does she look like you" she said quickly but Danny could speak fluent Jazz
Danny held up three fingers "in order because of Dani she's a good friend and she's a clone of me made by the Fruit Loop"
Danny walked over to Dani she looked like she was recovering from some kind of magic attack that French superhero hit her with
"What do you mean clone" Jazz shouted before Sam shushed her
"Keep it down do you want those government cronies to hear we got a clone of Danny Phantom up here" she whispered
Danny looked to Tucker "how is she"
Tucker smiled hopefully "I gave her some Ecto Dejecto and put bandages on her chest I think you guys are vulnerable to magic or at least whatever kind of magic that girl used"
Danny nodded it made sense he supposed that magic could be a weakness for him like with Freakshow and that crystal ball of his
Danny put a hand on Dani's shoulder she stirred in her sleep looking at him "hey cuz" she said sounding groggy "hows it going"
Danny laughed "you're the one who got attacked and you're making jokes"
Dani shrugged "I blame my DNA" she said Danny smiled kissing Dani on her forehead
"Go to sleep Dani ok" Danny said "you're not going anywhere" Dani nodded tiredly before falling asleep Danny walked over to the machine displaying her vitals they were good and strong which means she'd recover
And Danny would make sure nothing like this ever happened to Dani again
So that's the chapter Danny's free and cleared the morons in white are in big trouble for trying to frame Danny and steal the Fenton Portal
Sam and Dani are back
And for now Angelica is none the wiser about her boyfriend
