After Many Dates Danny and Angelica
Tucker grinned in the mirror checking himself over his hair was combed clean shirt he was wearing deodorant money in his wallet right next to a pair of breath mints last but not least Tucker grabbed his trusty PDA and a Fenton laser lipstick before walking out of his room
He was ready for his second date with the only perfect ten he got at You+Me=Love Velma Dinkely downstairs he saw his parents on the couch watching the news his dad had his arm around his mom's shoulder her head resting against his chest
Tucker smiled at that it was nice to know his parents were still in love with each other after so many years it's what he wanted
Even before the dating service Tucker didn't have the best luck with the ladies that week where Danny was the judge in Prince Aragons evil beauty pageant didn't count that was just girls trying to get on Danny's good side through him
There was also Valerie who just wanted to learn more about ghost hunting to waste his best friend
And Star who didn't want anything other than to boss him around
Tucker kinda felt bad for Kwan if Star treated the football player like she treated him
But Tucker had a good feeling about Velma she wasn't using him to try and get something she just wanted to be around him because she liked him imagine that a girl liking Tucker Foley
Sure it was usually Danny who had the luck with the ladies even if it was only a little bit more with Paulina Valerie Sam and twenty eight other girls from the dating service
Ok Danny had a lot more luck when it came to girls than he did
Seriously Danny could have ended up with any of those thirty girls and ended up happy
Tucker didn't count Paulina the day Danny decided to date Paulina again was the day he ate one of his boots
"Going somewhere son" Tuckers dad Maurice asked "you've been standing there for a minute"
"Yeah I've got a date"
Tuckers mom Angela frowned "I hope you didn't trick some girl again with that Toofinetuck nonsense" she said Tucker winced his mom was not the happiest with him after she looked at his old dating profile
If it weren't for Tucker swearing that he changed it and that he wasn't trying to trick any girls into dating him his mom would have grounded him for the rest of the summer
Maybe longer than that
"No Mom this is Velma the girl I met after I changed my profile" Tucker promised heading towards the door "I'll be back before curfew"
"Just be careful and watch out for ghosts" his dad called after him "they can pop out anywhere"
'Believe me dad I know' Tucker thought knowingly "I will" he promised out loud
Tucker walked down the street towards the bus stop
He had a date and he really didn't want to be late
Speaking of dates Tucker wasn't the only one on a date as he was sitting side by side with his own perfect match they were watching a movie
A bad one
Well watching wasn't the right word they were mostly making fun of it
Some stupid over the top rom-com called The Wedding Bride Angelica was laughing at how cheesy it was
"This is pathetic" she said looking at the screen laughing at the main character Stella "why would she want to get married to some loser like this Jed Moesly guy"
Danny wasn't the biggest fan of calling people losers but he had to agree with Angelica the 'bad guy' of the movie was some slimy little weasel of an architect named Jed Moesly who was selfish stupid and for some weird reason wore red cowboy boots
Then there was this brain dead blonde who for some reason actually agreed to marry this creep over the 'other guy' Tony
It was just so dumb
"Seriously who'd want to marry that guy" Angelica asked quietly rolling her eyes at Stella on the screen
Danny was trying not to laugh just because he thought this movie was dumb which it was it was really really really dumb
Wait why was Tony running to the church barefoot did he really not have enough time to put on his shoes wouldn't shoes make it easier to get to the church
"His feet are going to be so messed up" Danny said Angelica laughed
"I know you guys have it easy you can just slip on your shoes and run" Angelica said "we on the other hand take forever to get out the door"
"So you're blaming your shoes for how long it takes you to leave the house" Danny asked jokingly Angelica playfully elbowed him
"Oh zip it Gorilla boy we're almost at the end" Angelica whispered
Danny nodded seeing Tony on the screen say some sappy speech to Stella that included the title of the movie Danny and Angelica laughed when the actor playing Tony asked if Stella would be 'my wedding bride'
The rest went as expected Stella said yes Jed acted like some of the popular kids at his school than some kid kicked Jed saying "take that Ted Mosby"
That was a little weird Danny wondered why they kept that part in the movie
Angelica had her hand to her lips struggling not to laugh "seriously my cousin could make something better than this in his sleep" she said "even when he went through that artsy phase of his"
Danny had to agree sure he hadn't actually seen one of Tommy's movies but the way he talked about them he was so passionate about making movies there had to be something there
Behind Danny he heard someone sigh "that movie was so romantic" Danny's eyes widened he knew that voice
Why was Paulina here
Oh wait it was a movie called 'the wedding bride' of course she was here she was probably imagining herself in Stella's place and him as Tony
Again eww
Sure Paulina was gorgeous but really that was the only positive about her she was mean shallow and tried to date him just to get back at Sam for calling her shallow honestly Paulina was nicer when she was being overshadowed by Kitty
Danny stood up Angelica looked at him weird "hey what's up" she asked Danny giving him a weird look
"Nothing" he said smiling "I just want to spend time with my perfect match" Angelica smiled standing up she gave him a light kiss on the lips Danny smiled kissing her back ever since they had their first kiss on their last date
Angelica took any opportunity to kiss him she actually kissed him a couple of times during the movie
Not that Danny was going to complain he doubted he missed anything he would want to see while lip locking with his girlfriend
Something that was way more fun than any movie
Danny and Angelica separated "good answer Gorilla boy" she said
"Uck that's disgusting" Paulina said Danny turned around to see Paulina and some of her friends had come down while he and Angelica were distracted
"Do you mind Paulina we were having a good time" Danny said getting annoyed with the girl
Paulina stuck out her tongue "yeah I saw loser love" she said disgusted "I thought you couldn't stoop lower than the goth geek Fenton but her" Paulina looked at Angelica "Her outfit is so tacky but I can't blame her being blind and all"
"I'm not/She's not blind" Danny and Angelica said Paulina giggled meanly
"Oh sweetie of course you are" she said passive aggressively a word Danny remembered from the summer reading Lancer assigned "why else would you kiss a loser like Danny Fenton"
Did he finish that homework Danny wondered not listening to Paulina it was the usual stuff he was a loser and she was popular stuff he'd heard a hundred times
Behind Paulina Star looked sympathetic "I think she looks fine" Star said
"I agree" Danny said putting his arm around Angelica's shoulder holding him close "so Paulina where's your boyfriend"
"She has one" Angelica asked "is he deaf"
Paulina frowned "why would my ghost boy be deaf" she asked
Angelica shrugged "oh sweetie how else would he be able to deal with your screeching voice" Angelica asked with a knowing smirk Danny laughed even Paulina's friends were trying to hold in their giggles while Paulina looked furious
"My ghost boy is worth a million of your loser boyfriend" she said
Angelica raised an eyebrow "Danny Phantoms dating you" she asked incredulously "wow my little cousins favorite superhero has horrible taste"
'We can agree to disagree on that' Danny thought while laughing Danny reassured Angelica "Danny Phantoms only dating Paulina in her head"
Paulina's face was becoming shades of red he didn't think were possible without having powers she glared "you'll pay for this loser" she promised before walking off with her friends
'Sorry' Star mouthed to Danny
Danny blinked ok that was a little weird Danny turned to Angelica with a grin "have I told you you're amazing"
Angelica smirked "not recently Gorilla boy but it doesn't hurt to hear" Angelica said before she and Danny walked out of the theatre
Walking out of the movie theatre Danny and Angelica were smiling arm in arm enjoying each others company after all it was their last date of the summer school was starting soon and that meant they would have less time to spend in person together
Which as far as the young couple was concerned really stinks
"I can't believe we sat through such an awful movie" Danny said laughing
"I know maybe I should write a review of it just to let people know not to see that massive stinker" Angelica said laughing with her boyfriend now that certain annoyances were gone both could relax in the summer sun and enjoy the time they had with the other
The two were walking away from the movie theatre towards the Nasty Burger for lunch Danny was smiling
Nothing could have ruined this for him
At least he thought so until his ghost sense came out 'oh no not now' Danny thought looking around trying to see where the ghost was
'Please be Cujo please be Cujo please be Cujo' Danny thought in his head hoping it was the little ghost puppy or someone harmless if it wasn't he needed to find a way to protect Angelica without exposing his secret identity
Above Danny's head the sky turned dark as ghosts appeared in the sky they were formless and black with yellow glowing eyes and menacing fangs "oh no" Danny said
People having seen the ghosts began to scream running away
Angelica looked like she was trying not to freak out as Danny grabbed Angelica by the hand pulling her into an alley "Danny what are those things" she asked with wide eyes
"Oh you know ghosts welcome to Amity Park" Danny said trying to keep her from freaking out Angelica smacked his arm
"Are you really making jokes right now" she asked panicking "when there are ghosts attacking your hometown"
Danny shrugged even before the portal he'd been pretty desensitized to ghosts by the time he was in kindergarten
"Look I know things are crazy" Danny assured his girlfriend "but we're going to be ok I promise"
"You shouldn't make promises that you can't keep Danny" a familiar voice said Danny turned and frowned 'oh no not her' he thought
There in all her red eyed glory was Sam though she was dressed differently she was wearing a black cape held on with a gold chain beneath that she wore a purple shirt with a black vest with gold wavy lines
Danny was sure there was a word for it but he didn't know it red pants and brown knee boots boots
"Sam" Angelica asked confused Dark Sam shook her head Danny stood in front of her protectively
"Not exactly" Dark Sam said Danny frowned wondering where she got the outfit what she was doing here and how did she even still exist Dani's dark clone disappeared when Dani was free so why not her
"You really want to know how I'm here same as my goody two shoes counterpart" Dark Sam asked "when Danny Phantom pulled Sam out of the mirror Sam was split in two the useless coward" Dark Sam laughed "and her better half" pointing to herself she held out her hands "and look what else I can do" she said holding out her hands fire filled her palms
"Ok that's a new one" Danny said making sure he was between the fireballs and Angelica "where'd you learn that trick Dark Sam"
Dark Sam smirked "my new boss taught me some tricks" she said "oh and the names not Dark Sam it's Heartbreak" before Dar- Heartbreak could launch her fireballs a blast knocked her back Danny looked back to see the Fenton Family assault vehicle and his dad holding a bazooka
"Ha take that evil ghost who looks like one of my son's oldest friends" he said "you can't beat Jack Fenton"
The door opened and Danny's mom gestured for them to get inside "Danny Angelica get inside quick" she called
No need to tell them twice mom Danny thought guiding Angelica into the RV while Heartbreak got back up this time some of the weird ghosts were now floating around her
"Get them" she shouted the ghosts followed her orders Danny shut the door quickly while his dad turned on the RV's ghost shield as they drove like crazy down the street
"So" Danny said "remember when I said my parents were ghost hunters" he said
Angelica just hugged him "right now I'm just really glad your parents aren't dentists"
Just like with the Ghost King's invasion Danny's parents had extended the ghost shield creating a safe zone for the people of Amity Park meanwhile the ghosts were terrorizing the place
Danny Sam Jazz Tucker and Dani were in his room Angelica had left to call her folks and tell them she was ok
Or as ok as she could be while being trapped by an army of ghosts
Sam looked towards the door "you weren't kidding about the brave part" she said
Danny nodded
"I'm just glad Velma's bus got delayed" Tucker said not wanting his girlfriend anywhere near a massive ghost invasion or at least not another one
Tucker looked to Danny "can't you call for help from like the Justice League or something" he asked
Danny shook his head "just because I worked with Supergirl once doesn't mean I'm going to be in the Justice League" Danny said
"You met Supergirl" Dani asked amazed "cool"
Danny and Jazz smiled at that
"Besides Tuck we've always been on our own" Sam said
"Not in this you aren't" Danny and the rest of his team jumped as green mist swirled in Danny's room taking the shape of a older looking gentleman in a cape and a suit like a stage magician Sam blinked "Vincent Van Ghoul" she asked
Van Ghoul that sounded like a name from the monster community like Spectra
"You know this guy Sam" Jazz asked
"Yeah from Nana's old movies but he looks like he hasn't aged a day" Sam said unsurely than again he was made of green smoke after all
The man Vincent Van Ghoul laughed "magic has certain cosmetic advantages Miss" he said "but now is not the time for flattery Danny Phantom I've come to warn you of a great evil approaching" he said his voice going from lighthearted to serious in a matter of moments
Danny nodded "what kind of great evil" he asked
"Asmodeus the King of Demons" answered
Outside of the Amity Park city limits a red van was driving towards the city behind the wheel a red haired girl frowned even from here she could see the ghosts attacking Amity Park
"Like we've gotta hurry Daph" her friend said next to her in the passenger seat sounding scared but than again she'd be more shocked if her friend wasn't sounding scared this summer they faced worse than guys in rubber masks
"I know Shaggy" Daphne Blake said "Scooby Scrappy do you have the chest" she asked
"Re got it" a talking great dane said holding onto a purple chest with a evil looking lock the chest glowed ominously besides the great dane a puppy was sitting on top of the chest "we're not going to let any of the thirteen ghosts buddies near the chest"
This was the infamous Chest of Demons an object of great magical power that was said to have been built by King Soloman to contain 13 of the evilest ghosts and monsters to ever roam the earth earlier in the summer Shaggy and Scooby Doo had been tricked into opening the chest releasing the thirteen back into the world they had captured twelve of the thirteen trapping them back into the chest
Now there was only one left Asmodeus the King of Demons
Daphne nodded looking to Shaggy "do you have Plan B" she asked Shaggy
Shaggy's eyebrows looked ready to shoot up into his hair just mentioning plan B but he nodded reaching down he pulled out a duffel bag "yeah Daph like I got it right here"
"Good" Daphne said
The last person in the car a boy of Nepali descent in a yellow hoodie and jeans who went by the nickname Flim Flam due his conman way of acting frowned "are you sure we should be bringing that thing anywhere near the 13th ghost"
"No Flim Flam I'm not sure" Daphne admitted "I just hope we don't have to use it"

#1 I don't feel like Trixie would really give up her popularity at least not while she's ten maybe when she gets older
#2 I have no idea who anti amethyst ocean fans are so I can't answer that but I'm not against other people ending up with Danny or Sam it's kind of the point of this massive multiverse we're reading right now
#3 I don't know about the recent drama but if it's anything like last time I answered this question than it's not ok
#4 Nintendo mostly but I like the X-Box and certain PC games I recently started playing Rome Total war again it's one of the best strategy games I've ever played
#5 Orange Sherbet and Chocolate are some of my favorites
#6 Depends on the execution
#7 I'm pretty desensitized to horror in general so I don't really get scared by fictional characters
#8 I'd like to learn Japanese maybe visit the land of the rising sun in person one day
#9 First off there's no fanbase that is all good or all evil but like in every group there are people who take things too far in my Naruto story Jinchuriki under the full moon I was routinely left reviews complaining about Hinata being on the same team as Naruto and that I should have her and Sasuke killed off so Naruto can date Sakura
First off anyone interested should give the story a read it was a personal favorite of mine for a while to write
Second I'm not EVER going to kill of a character just because a reviewer asks me to if it doesn't fit have a reason in the story I'm not going to do it
Third just because a guy and a girl character are around each other doesn't mean they're going to end up in a relationship to paraphrase Han Solo in episode 7
"That's not how that works"
So yeah people who get a little too obsessive about pairings kind of get under my skin if you want to have a healthy discussion about character interpretations I'll listen
But if you just want to complain about my choices or tell me what to do well be prepared to be ignored
#10 Dragon Ball Z was my introduction to anime so I'm curious to see if anyone will actually take up the challenge I won't because like I said in my last chapter I have issues with large casts Danny interacting with all thirty of his past blind dates plus the people who live in Dragon Ball
Yeah I'll pass but best of luck to anyone who tries
