Chapter 81 Aquos Twins

A portal opened as Nobu and the others arrived back on Earth near the park.
"Well we're back." Nobu said.
"We should meet up with Dan and the others and tell them what's going on." Mira said.
"If we can even find them." Leonidas said.
"Let's try his place at least." Nobu said.
They went forward but then they saw Marucho come out from a store.
"Oh looks Marucho." Nobu said.
Marucho sees them.
"Nobu? Shun? And the Resistance? What are you guys doing here?" Marucho asks.
"We got a problem." Nobu said.
"What kind of problem?" Maracho asks before noticing Kira. "And who is he?"
"This is Kira he's a friend."
"And them?" Marucho questions seeing the three children of the Legendary Soliders.
"Oh they're my cousins." Nobu said.
Marucho blinks.
"Cousins?" Marucho questions.
"They're The children of the other legendary soldiers." Ace said.
"What?!" Marucho exclaims in surprise.
"Yeah, guys introduce yourselves." Nobu said.
"Howdy I'm Terra son of Clayf and this is my partner Zak Jaguard." Terra said.
"My claws will shred any enemies." Zak said.
"I'm Violet daughter of Exedra." Violet said.
"I am Destroy Munikis." Munikis said.
"I am Fuuko the daughter of Oberus and my partner is Val Falco. Don't get in the way." Fuuko said.
"Don't mind her." Falco said.
"Well nice to meet you all." Marucho said.
"Its nice to meet you too." Terra said.
"Do you have Elfin?" Nobu asked.
"Yeah and Preyas." Maracho said.
"Good, because theres the Aquos grandchildren of Frosch nearby. To evolve Elfin you need to face them." Nobu said.
"Really?" Elfin questions in surprise.
"Yes, the others managed to do it and we will need to do it, since we have a crazy plan." Nobu said.
"A crazy plan?" Marucho questions.
"You see Kira needs plans to build a bakugan to counter War's giant monster. But we would need to go to the Vexo world." Nobu frowns.
"Really?" Marucho questions in surprise.
"I got a rough idea for Bakugan to counter his but without the data on how the others were made I can't do much besides trying to reverse engineer the ones we got." Kira said.
"And that could lead to problems." Marucho said getting why Kira isn't doing that.
"So it's best we get you and Dan to face the other children, so your partners can evolve." Nobu said.
"Got it. Also can I see the plans you have so far?" Marucho asks Kira.
"Yeah you can later." Kira said.
Terra feels his energy glow. "Well, looks like they're close."
"Then let's move." Ace said.
They went to find him and they were at a water Park that was closed.
"Guess this makes some sense." Kira said.
Someone is walking around in the shadows.
Everyone looks at the person coming out of the shadows. But to they're shock two toddlers came out.
Both of them looks Kazuma from Gakuen Babysitters with blue hair and cyan eyes.
"They're... Toddlers!" Nobu said.
"They're adorable!" Chiho said as she looks at Nobu and images a child that has their features.
"So what are they're names?" Mira said.
"I'm Mizuki." One said.
"I-I'm Tazuki." The other one said nervously.
Frosch appeared. "Oh you found them."
"Grandpa!" The twins said.
"Oh hello boys." He waves.
They went over to him and hugged him.
"It's good to see you both too. But it's now time for Marucho's test." He looks at Marucho.
"It's nice to see you Frosch." Marucho said.
"Also you'll need him." He gives Angelo.
"Angelo and Diablo!" Marucho said happy to have them again. Angelo opens up first.
"It is wonderful to see you again." Angelo said before Diablo took over.
"Why didn't you guys look for us?!" Diablo yells angrily.
"That's not the point now. You see you'll be facing both my grandsons and they'll be a challenge." Frosch said.
"Right." Marucho said as this reminds him of the battle against Dan and Drago so Drago could evolve.
The twins got they're gauntlets out.
Marucho got his ready too as the battle starts.
"Gauntlet Power Strike!"
"Gate Card Set!" Marucho throws a gate card.
"Bakugan Brawl! Preyas Stand!" Marucho sends out Preyas.
"Time to play kiddies!" Preyas said. 500 Gs.
Mizuki takes out a Bakugan. "Bakugan brawl..." he throws it. "Slime Limulus, stand!"
It glows as blue slime came out before it forms a Limulus that has a blue orb inside of it. 500 G.
"Slime?!" Marucho exclaims.
"It's they're personal type that they made from deceased Bakugan." Frosch said.
"Wait really?" Marucho questions in surprise.
They nodded.
"Most of us can do that." Nobu said.
Then Nobu and the other three brings out a Clear, Crystal, Zombie, and Fossil Bakugan.
The slime then charges at Preyas.
"Gate card open! Character!" The gate card opens doubling Preyas' power to 1000.
"Okay take this." Preyas kicks.
"Ability card, regeneration." After it got hit the slime went to pieces before going back.
"What?!" Marucho questions.
"It allows the slime to survive the battle." Frosch said.
500 - 800 G.
"An increase of 300 Gs as well." Terra said with a slight whistle.
Mizuki uses another card. "Ability activate. Sharp claw." The claws glow. 800 - 1050 G
"Ability Activate! Water Refrain!" Marucho calls out. Slime Limulus 1050-500 Gs.
Preyas hits at him but was having a hard time.
"Why is this so difficult?!" Preyas questions as it seems like no matter how hard he hits the slime it doesn't effect it.
"You'll need more than that." Frosch said.
Tazuki throws another being a slime Terrorclaw. 500 G.
"Angelo Preyas stand!" Marucho throws in Angelo.
"Time for me to grace the battlefield once more." Angelo said. 500 Gs.
The two kicked the slimes back hitting them out as they went to the twins.
"Now that's what I'm taking about!" Preyas said as he and his brother went back to Marucho.
Tazuki then cries.
"Oh no!" Chiho said as she goes over to him and gives him a hug.
"There there." Mizuki rubs his back.
"It's ok you did your best." Chiho said in her best motherly tone.
"I know we won but this somehow feels wrong." Preyas sweatdrops.
"It does." Angelo agrees.
Mizuki throws a gate card. "Bakugan brawl, Killer Volca stand!" A big whale like creature with gold spikes came out. 720 G.
"Holy whale!" Kira shouts as the Bakugan was huge.
"It's even got 720 Gs." Ace said in surprise.
"Come and face me." Killer Volca said.
"Bakugan brawl! Preyas and Elfin stand!" Marucho sends both out. 500 Gs. 400Gs.
"Gate card, Character!" Killer Volca's power doubles. 1440 G
"Double Ability Activate! Blue Shield and Shooting Stardust!" Marucho calls out. 1440-1240 Gs. 400-800 Gs.
Tazuki takes out his bakugan. "Bakugan brawl! Saint Aquas Stand!"
A big aquatic creature with jaws for hands came out as he roars. 730 G.
"No way!" Marucho said as both were in the 700s.
"No choice Diablo Preyas Stand!" Marucho sends in Diablo who roars. 500 Gs.
"Now it's my turn!"
"Marucho's Bakugan's combined G is 1800 while the twins combined Gs are 1970." Mira said.
"Doesn't Marucho have a Bakugan Trap?" Kira asks.
"Ability activate, Sniper whale!"
Killer Orca shoots sending Marucho Bakugan back.
"Sniper Whale allows his Bakugan to deal a powerful attacks to finish the battle faster." Frosch explained.
"No way!" Marucho said.
"They're tied now." Nobu said.
Tazuki sets a Gate Card next.
"Brawl!" He shouts bringing out Saint Aquas.
"This is it, Marucho better be ready." Nobu said.
"Right." Marucho nods as he decides to throw out all of his Bakugan and his Bakugan Trap.
"Go Preyas, Diablo, Effin, and Bakugan Trap Tripod Epsilon!" Marucho calls out. 500 Gs. 500 Gs. 400 Gs. 350 Gs.
"Gate card, Saint water." Tazuki uses it.
The slimes came back.
"How did they came to the field?" Ace questions.
Marucho's Bakugan combined power. 1750 Gs. The Twins' Bakugan combined power. 1720 Gs.
Mizuki send his partner out as Killer Volca roars. 2450 Gs
"Not good." Kira said.
"The field increases the power by 100 for each Bakugan on they're side." Frosch said.
2450-2850 Gs.
"Then Let's do this! Ability Activate! Cool Snail! Now you guys can't use ability cards!" Marucho said.
"Good idea." Baron said.
Tazuki uses a ability before it went into effect.
"What did he just use?" Kira questions as his enhanced eyesight caught it.
"Saint aura. It cancels Marucho's ability." Frosch said.
"Then that means his card was useless." Violet said.
"Ability activate, regeneration." Mizuki said.
2850-3150-3450 Gs.
"Attribute Change! Darkus!" Both Preyas and Elfin changes to Darkus.
"Triple Ability Activate! First moon Rainbow! Next Blue Squall! Then Diagonal Relation between Darkus and Pyrus! 3450-3250-2450 Gs. 1750-1950-2750-3050 Gs.
The orb inside of Limulus turned into darkus.
"What?" Marucho questions confused.
Saint Aquas roars. "Change of attribute! Haos!" He changed into Haos.
"He can do it too?!" Preyas shouts in surprise.
Terrorclaw got the pyrus from Diablo.
"Now triple node!" Mizuki uses a card with a smile.
"What?!" Mira exclaims.
"Those two planned this all along. To have Diablo there so that they can copy with the Slimes and have Saint change into Haos." Nobu said.
2450 Gs - 3050 Gs
Tazuki uses a card. "Diagonal relation between Pyrus and Darkus."
"Double Ability Activate! Wave Shield will negate that ability you're about to use and Whirl Kick will take 200 Gs from you and add it to Preyas!" Marucho said. 3050-2850 Gs. 3050-3250 Gs.
"Ability activate, Aqua Reverse, now it's reversed." Tazuki said.
"And since before Saint Aquas was 200 weaker he gains a extra 600." Frosch added.
"Oh no!" Marucho shouts.
2850-3050-3650 Gs. 3250-3050 Gs.
They all roar as they attacked Marucho's Bakugan making them fall to the ground but not out yet.
"They're too strong." Preyas said.
"Your always making the same mistake Marucho, your not facing one but two. The twins might be too young but they're stronger together so they have better combos than from a single brawler." Frosch said.
"Same mistake?" Marucho questions.
"Each time you do a counter, they have something to do to you twice more powerful." He said.
"You're right." Marucho tightens his hands.
"Don't worry, we can do it." Elfin slowly stands up as she starts to glow.
"She's evolving." Nobu said.
"Elfin!" Preyas exclaims in awe.
They saw she became Minx Elfin. "Alright!" 400-600 Gs
"You look amazing Elfin." Preyas said.
"Can you possibly defeat us like that?" Orca said.
"Maybe not but I can give it a good try!" Elfin said.
"Let's go Marucho, do you best!" She looks at him.
"Right! Triple Ability Activate! Hyper Bubble Shield, Chatty Clutter, and Super Moon-Bow!" Maracho calls out.
3650-3250-2850-2450-2050-1650 Gs. 3250-3650-4050-4450-4850-5150-5450 Gs.
The twins used two cards. "Final Gambit!"
The levels matched now before both sides charged at each other and made a big draw ending the game.
"What just happened?" Kira questions confused.
"Final Gambit makes a final attack where both matched, since the boys used it together. If no one wins then it's a draw." Frosch explained.
"So a kamikaze attack." Kira said.
"Isn't that familiar." Nobu looks at Fuuko who looks away.
"Yes, now with Elfin evolved, you must find the rest of the Brawlers and Dan has to challenge Apollonir's son." Frosch said.
"Any info on him?" Ace asks.
"You'll find him soon enough, as the connections between the elements shall guide you. See ya boys." He waves at his grandsons before vanishing.
"Bye bye!" Both of them said.
"Well let's go." Nobu said as the group went forward to find Dan before going to do they're mission.
Note: Marucho fought the twins of Aquos and they proven to be strong together as they had to go back and forward a lot.
