Meeting Strong Fighters for the Tournament
Shadow and Zack are inside a helicopter with the latter piloting it as they are sent by Helen to meet some future fighters and see if they have what it takes to enter the Dead or Alive Tournament, Zack will be dropping off Shadow to one of the fighters and Zack will go for the next.
"Man, I so excited to meet the fighters to give them their invitation for the tournament." Zack smiled.
"By invitation, you mean beating them up to see if they can survive long enough." Shadow stated.
"Come on, man, don't make it sound like we're bullies. It's a real big deal for DOATC to be on the people's good side." Zack pointed out.
"I get it, just not sure why I have to go too." Shadow said.
"Well, Helen said you already know one or two fighters in one street of New York, maybe she thought getting the invite from you would be better." Zack explained.
"I guess that make sense." Shadow sarcastically.
"Hey man, are you bump that your ninja girlfriend isn't with you right now?" Zack teased.
"That would one of those reason, but I'm more worry about her wanting to go after her clone anytime soon." Shadow stated.
"Well, I'm sure with you around, she won't be hunting like crazy." Zack believed.
"Yeah, I like to think so too." Shadow nodded.
"So, who are you going see for the tournament?" Shadow asked.
"Oh man, this one is a real treat for me as I'll be seeing the awesome and last year DOA champion, Jane Lee, one of the strongest fighters in the world." Zack answered exciting and showed him a picture of the guy.
Jann Lee has a slightly dark tanned complexion, and his hair is spiky dark-brown hair, small light-hazel eyes, and peculiar looking eyebrows, going down in a curve with a thin part going up. He wears black pants with red-and-white chaps, matching gloves, and a pair of foot grips.
"Huh, he certainly looks strong." Shadow commented.
"Dude, he is super strong as he dedicated to the ways of the fists probably since the day he was born and would even put himself through intense training that would normal kill a guy." Zack explained.
"Now this man got my interest." Shadow smirked.
"Yeah, that guy would be DOA fans' favorite, but I think that might change this year." Zack grinned at Shadow.
"Well, meeting him should be a good time once the tournament starts." Shadow said.
"I figured you say that you are a fighter through and through." Zack laughed and patted on Shadow's shoulder.
"Anyway, we're arrive in New York, the Big Apple!" Zack announced as he looks down.
"Well, this is where I get off." Shadow takes off the headphones and opened his door.
"Dude, I know you can do crazy stuff, but I think this is a bit too extreme." Zack gasped as the alarm in the helicopter went off.
"Guess you can add that to the things I'm good at as well." Shadow smirked before jumping off.
"Man, that is one freaky dude." Zack commented.
Shadow is seeing free falling from the sky as Zack leaves to find Jane Lee, the black-red hair boy looks down at the street he is falling towards and notice a very tall building as he leans to it, then using his superspeed to land and run onto the side of the building. He made his way blitzing from the building and onto the streets making his way to that one place, passing by cars and people causing wind to blow on them as well.
"It's been a while since I came here, hope Mila and Diego are doing okay." Shadow said.
Shadow then stops in front of the diner and look through the window seeing Mila is still working there.
"Good, I was hoping to run into her here." Shadow smirked.
"Whoa nelly! You sure are a strange fella." A girl surprised.
Shadow turns around seeing the girl standing in front of a red car, and he can tell from her reaction that she must have seen him use his superspeed to get here.
"Are you new here?" Shadow asked.
"I guess you can say that, I just came here for a relax lunch at a relaxing place then I heard about this place and thought about coming here." The girl explained.
"Oh, how silly of me, my name is Tina Armstrong." Tina introduced herself.
Tina has fair skin, short blonde hair, and sapphire blue eyes. She wears a zip up shirt with a hoodie, leather jacket with studs, denim shorts with the US flag, striped socks, a pair of boots, leather gloves, a chain necklace with a guitar pendant, and a knit cap with a silver star. Breasts sizes: H-cup.
"My name is Shadow, nice to meet you." Shadow extended his hand to her.
"Well, aren't you a friendly man. Oh, and a strong one too." Tina complimented as she felt Shadow's grip on her hand.
"And you also must be a really fast one to just show up here out of nowhere like that." Tina mentioned.
"Well, let just say I'm no ordinary fighter." Shadow smirked making Tina feel like she is staring at a giant or something.
"You here to get some lunch too?" Tina asked.
"Something like that, I'm actually here to meet a friend to tell her something important that I think she is gonna love." Shadow answered.
"Oh, must be really important. Better not keep the glad waiting." Tina said as she walks in the diner with Shadow following from behind.
"Hey, Mila!" Shadow called out.
"Shadow?" Mila surprised, thought she was hearing things until she turns around and saw Shadow himself.
"Shadow! It's really you, I didn't think I see you again!" Mila jumped in joy.
"It has been that long; it's only been like two months and a few days." Shadow stated.
"Well, it certainly felt long to me." Mila chuckled.
"Oh my, are you two a couple?" Tina teased.
"What? That's crazy talk, we're just friends!" Mila gasped blushing.
"And I already have a girlfriend." Shadow informed.
"Oh, well, forgive me then." Tina apologized with a giggle.
"Hey, are you okay on the head?" Tina asked tapping her head where Mila has the bandage on.
"Oh, this? It's nothing, just had some practice in." Mila answered.
"Pretty girls shouldn't fight. Well, guess I can't really talk, can I?" Tina chuckled.
"Anyway, Mila, there's something I wanted to talk to you about and it's also about the tournament." Shadow mentioned.
"You mean the Dead or Alive Tournament; I saw the broadcast and I'm hoping to enter." Mila excited.
"I can tell, it's the reason why I'm here." Shadow said.
"Hold that thought, Shadow." Mila held her hand at Shadow as she looks at Tina closely.
"Hmm, do I got something on my face?" Tina asked.
Mila looks at Tina for a few more seconds as she got this feeling that she has seen this girl before and then realization came in.
"You're… You're Miss Armstrong, as in Tine Armstrong, aren't you?" Mila asked.
"Oh, so you recognize me? I have a show toni—" But Tina's sentence was cut off from Mila's excitement.
"Oh my god! Bass Armstrong is your father, isn't he?!" Mila asked exciting.
"I take it this man is famous?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah, my daddy used to be the biggest wrestler in the whole dam world, and I do some wrestling myself. Guess you could say it's in our family's blood." Tina explained.
"And you never knew about all of that?" Mila asked Shadow.
"We've only just met today, and I don't watch a lot of TV these days unless it involves anime." Shadow shrugged.
"Bet you must be proud to have a father like him." Shadow commented.
"Yeah, my daddy was great and all, but he's retired now and working at a plant out in the sea." Tina mentioned and looked back at Mila.
"I got to say, it's surprising that my dad has gotten fans like you young people over years even after his retirement." Tina said.
"I've been a fan ever since I can remember!" Mila stated.
"So, that means you were in dippers?" Shadow joked making the two girls laughed.
"(Huh, didn't think that would actually work.)" Shadow thought surprised.
"Very funny." Mila giggled.
"Hmm, but you don't look like a wrestler. MMA, right?" Tina asked.
"Yeah." Mila nodded.
"Then you're alright, kid." Tina complimented.
"Hey, I'm empty! Gimme another drink!" A drunken man called out holding up his empty cup.
"Coming!" Mila hurried to the costumer.
"You know, if you're serious about entering… Maybe I could help you get ready. Do a little sparring you with." Tina offered.
"Wait, you'd do that?" Mila asked shock.
"It looks like she's serious." Shadow stated.
"That's awesome! Actually sparring with THE Tine Armstrong, Daughter of Bass Armstrong! I'll get ready right now!" Mila ran to the back room but stop for a quick turnaround.
"And Shadow, you can come too!" Mila invited.
"(Guess I can tell her about the reason I'm here a little later.)" Shadow thought chuckled.
(Few Minutes Later)
Shadow and Tina are standing by at the fighting ring waiting for Mila to finish changing into her fighting clothes.
"Okay, I'm here! Hope I didn't keep you waiting!" Mila said as she jumps into the ring.
"Well, you're looking ready to go." Tina commented as she steps in the ring as well.
"You know, Mila, there is a reason I came back here to see you than just catching up." Shadow mentioned.
"Oh yeah, what was it you were going to say?" Mila asked.
"Well, I came here to officially invite you to the Dead or Alive tournament." Shadow revealed.
"Officially invite me. No way, you work for DOATC!" Mila gasped.
"That's right." Shadow nodded.
"Uh, I didn't picture you to the into that kind of working man." Tina said.
"Well, I am I just thought of something interesting. How about you both fight me?" Shadow suggested.
"Two against one, are you sure about that?" Tina asked.
"Think of it as a way of getting your invites, and all you have to do is show me your strength in the heart of battle, but I must warn you that landing a hit on me won't be easy." Shadow stated.
"Oh, now you're saying that we won't be able to hurt you much." Tina smirked.
"I did tell you that I'm no ordinary fighter." Shadow cracked his knuckles.
"I feel more excited about this fight! I think we should go for it!" Mila nodded.
"Well, you insist then let show him how two strong girls can pack a punch." Tina punched her fist on her hand.
"Alright, time to get this started." Shadow jumped twenty feet in the air and landed right in the ring and facing the two girls.
"You both better not disappoint me." Shadow smirked.
"Right, we're here to fight!" Mila readied herself with her fists.
"Hope you're ready for the show!" Tina excited in her battle stance.
Shadow smirks thinking this is going to be a good fight even though he is already stronger than two of them combine, but he still wanted to see how those two can fight even though this will be the first time they are fighting together against one fighter.
"Alright, come at me." Shadow taunted.
"I'll make the first move!" Mila charged at Shadow.
Mila threw a punch which is met against Shadow's own punch causing a struggle of strength between them, but only for a few seconds and Shadow easily push her away and send her flying with a kick to the stomach.
"I got ya!" Tina caught Mila in her arms.
"Try throwing me." Tina suggested to her partner.
"What?" Mila confused of the plan.
"Just trust me on this, sugar." Tina winked.
"Okay, if you say so." Mila nodded and grabbed onto Tina's right arm with both hands.
Then the two started spinning around trying to go fast for a moment and then Mila threw Tina right at Shadow with both feet outward at him, Shadow quickly blocks it with his arms feeling the young woman's strength in it.
Tina can see this isn't going to be easy knocking this guy down as she jumps off and roll backward once as Mila runs past her and to strike with her fists again.
Mila started throwing some strong punches as Shadow blocks them with one arm and was about to strike with his other arm, but that was suddenly block by Tina who caught it with her arm then backhand attack though Shadow reacted fast to lean back on the side to dodge it. However, Tina smirks and drops onto the floor of the ring to grapple on his right leg with both of hers and force him to bend down.
"(Now's chance!)" Mila thought threw her an uppercut that just at the moment Tina made Shadow bend down.
This time, Shadow was only able to react on seeing the punch coming at him and struck him from under the chin, which brought smiles on both girls.
"Don't think that's enough to bring me down!" Shadow said as he grabbed both Mila and Tian, then slammed them onto each other.
Then Shadow flip himself forward and several feet away from the girls.
"Well done, you actually managed to land a hit on me." Shadow grinned.
"That just shows strong serious we are in our love for fighting." Tina smiled.
"Yeah, we can still go for more!" Mila nodded.
"Well then, let see how you do against my speed." Shadow said before he blitzed right behind the girls.
"What the…?" Mila gasped which is the only time for her to react as Shadow threw a punch to her face making her stumble back.
Tina was about to defend herself, but Shadow was already at her left with a punch on the side then blitz in circles around for a second and kick her away.
"Okay, what is up with that?" Mila asked shock.
"Just one of the many special skills I have." Shadow bragged a little.
Shadow started using his superspeed again punch and kick on the girls around them as they struggle to keep up with his movements, trying to get a good read on him though Mila refuses to give up and her instinct kicks up with her body moving on its own throwing a punch. That punch was right in front of Shadow making him stop running for a moment, which is what Mila was hoping for as she grabs him into a hold.
"Alright, hold him right there!" Tina ran to the ropes of the ring.
"Damn it, get off!" Shadow shakes his body to get Mila off, but surprisingly she wouldn't let go.
"Here I come!" Tina pushes through the ropes as it stretches and propelled herself towards Shadow.
Tina got in close and spin her body around with a jump to perform her flying butt strike right on the face which knock him over Mila though he flips himself back up.
"Huh, can't say I've seen that kind of move before." Shadow surprised.
"Just a little something from yours truly." Tina winked.
Then suddenly something happens in Shadow's mind groaning in pain and saw a sudden memory, a piece of memory from his past showing him a move he made.
"Hey Shadow, you alright?" Mila asked.
"I'm fine, just remembering something that I think you're gonna be blown away." Shadow smirked.
Then Shadow starts with a runner starting position, but he didn't sprint like the girls thought he was gonna do and became shocked seeing him suddenly rolling up into a ball-like position fast and in place for a moment. Before they knew it, Shadow burst at them and the impact was strong that they were sent flying in the air and crashed back onto the ring.
"Had enough?" Shadow asked.
"What was that?" Mila asked.
"A move I haven't done in a long time." Shadow answered as he helps the girls up.
"And I'm happy to say that you girls definitely show great fighting spirits, hope to see you two at the tournament." Shadow announced.
"Awesome!" Mila cheered.
"Got to say, you're like a surprise I didn't know I want. Guess you're more than looks." Tina impressed as she sways her hips a bit.
"Hey, how long do I have to wait for my drink?"

Shadow has battled both Mila and Tina into a match as he determined them to be enough for he tournament, which they both pass awesomely, and it looks like Shadow has unlocked a new move from his past that certainly knocked the girls off their feet.
