Last Minute Fighter to Purple Ninja Meeting

"Oh yeah, everything is looking amazing!" Zack smiled standing on the fighting ring for the tournament and looking around seeing the whole stadium has been set up great.

"This is freaky, I'm already feeling pump for the tournament, I could taste that title on my face!" Zack excited.

"You know that makes you sound like a pervert, right?" Shadow asked.

"Whoa, Shadow, dude!" Zack jumped in shock of Shadow suddenly appearing right behind him and sitting on the rope of the ring.

"I swear you are even freakier than a ninja!" Zack commented.

"You're the one who needs to be more cautious and be aware of your surroundings if you don't want to get spooked like a little kid again." Shadow lectured as he jumps off.

"Dude, you can't expect everyone to be all super jack crazy strong for everything." Zack pointed out.

"True, but it wouldn't hurt to be prepared for any danger." Shadow countered.

"Right, right, anyway, what do you think of the stadium? Lots of seats for the fans to sit and watching the show, and the ring itself is super durable too for some crazy strong footing." Zack gestured around himself.

"It's my first tournament to be part of and I gotta say, I'm actually feeling a bit nervous with the event happening soon." Shadow expressed this sort of feeling for the first time.

"I feel ya, I remember the first time I was nervous about doing something big like being in this tournament or the first music video I did." Zack bragged.

"As in music that nobody buys these days?" Shadow asked with a deadpan expression.

"Hey! What are you looking at me with that face? I make awesome music, and anybody would love to hear me awesome voice!" Zack proclaimed.

"(Yeah, I find that hard to believe.)" Shadow thought looked at Zack and not believing him.

"Look, the important thing to know is that the tournament is gonna go off without a hitch and all the preparations are complete." Zack stated, quickly changing the subject.

"Does that mean we won't be taking in anymore fighters in the tournament?" Shadow asked.

"Totally, man! All the spots have been taken! Though except there is still one spot left since the fighter I was trying to find didn't show up and time was running out too, so I say we're done with seeking other fighters." Zack answered.

"Really now? Because it looks like one more fighter has come to audition." Shadow pointed up and behind Zack.

"Say what now?" Zack puzzled.

"HAHAHA!" A loud and strong sounding man shouted spooking Zack.

"What in the mother of…?! Zack turned around shock to see a mask wearing man standing on top of the iron I-beams.

"Listen up, Zack! I'm gonna join this tournament of yours!" The masked man laughed.

"(Hmm, I feel like I've seen him somewhere before?)" Shadow thought narrowed his eyes at the man.

This man here is wearing a red full bodysuit with flames on the legs, white briefs, a pair of boots, matching wristbands, a white-and-black cape, and a mask.

"Who are you exactly?" Shadow asked.

"You can call me Mr. Strong, the mysterious and strongest wrestler you will ever meet! And if you don't want to feel the pain of my muscles then you best stay out of it!" Mr. Strong smirked.

"…Yeah, that's Bass Armstrong, alright." Shadow sighed, already figuring out who this guy is.

"Hey, you said something insulting about my mask?" Mr. Strong asked angry and stomped his foot on the I-beam.

"(I really hope he doesn't figure me out what I'm Bass Armstrong.)" Bass thought hoped as he really needs to get into this tournament in order to stop his daughter from getting into fighting again.

"So, you said you're here to enter for the tournament?" Shadow asked. He may not know why Bass is doing this nor why bother with the disguise, but he'll play along just to humor him.

"That's right, I heard there's gonna be a lot of strong fighters and even got word about one Tina Armstrong is gonna be here. So, I thought I come here to fight her and see what she got!" Mr. Strong explained with a smirk.

"(Of course, this is about Tina. Guess this is what an overprotective father looks like when he is worried deeply for his daughter.)" Shadow thought figured.

"Well, lucky for you there is actually one spot left for the tournament and came at the right timing too." Shadow mentioned.

"Zack here is going to be your opponent to see if you got what it takes." Shadow patted Zack on the back.

"Whoa, whoa, say what now?" Zack surprised.

"If you beat him in a one-on-one match then you've definitely earned your spot to compete in the Dead or Alive tournament!" Shadow smirked.

"Oh, that's exactly what I'm gonna do and show you all how much muscles I have!" Bass smirked flexing his arms.

"Hey Shadow, man! Why are you suddenly putting me up with a last-minute entrée?" Zack asked angry at Shadow.

"What? You said that we had one spot left and this fighter sure wants to compete in this tournament." Shadow shrugged.

"Besides, it's not like you're scared to even throw a single punch to a big old man." Shadow gestured to Mr. Strong.

"Me? Scared? Boy, you clearly don't know how I roll things when I put my mind to it." Zack smirked.

"Fine then, if you want to be in the tournament then come on down here!" Zack pointed at Mr. Strong, not knowing he is actually Bass Armstrong.

"I was wondering when you would say that?" Mr. Strong laughed.

Mr. Strong jumps high from the bars and landed right into the center of the ring causing it to shake almost like a slight earthquake, he turns around face Zack who got into his fighting stance while Shadow jumps off standing on top of one of the poles.

"Good luck and try not to kill each other." Shadow said.

"You got it!" Both Zack and Mr. Strong said at the same time.

"I hope you're ready old man because I ain't pulling any punches!" Zack warned with a grin.

"Oh please, you won't even make me tickle on how tough my body is!" Mr. Strong taunted with a grin.

Zack charges at Mr. Strong to throw a punch right across the face only for the taller wrestler to chuckle softly of how weak that punch was and threw his head forward for a strong headbutt, this was painful to the brown man feeling stun as Mr. Strong charge in with a lariat attack.

"Oh shit!" Zack screamed from both the pain and fear.

"Yeah, this is why you don't mess with me!" Mr. Strong cheered for a second.

The mask wrestler quickly turns around for a strong knee-kick in the stomach of the upside-down that sent him flying onto the steel rope.

"Having a hard time getting into your groove there?" Shadow asked for a little tease.

"Funny, Shadow. You're funny!" Zack laughed sarcastically and flip himself back up.

Mr. Strong charges at Zack got a grab in his arm only for the hippy man to move back to avoid the arms and throw a couple of punches on the face and a double kick on the chest, Zack starts running around and doing a few flips for a knee attack on the back which only made Mr. Strong down a tiny bit and one foot forward.

This impresses the wrestler a little as he pushes himself back up and spun around for his arms to try attacking the small man, but Zack jumps to dodge his attack.

"(I gotta say, for a tired old man, Bass is doing a great job fighting against someone agile and moves a lot like Zack.)" Shadow thought impressed with this guy.

Mr. Strong threw down a hard fist hammer only for Zack to dodge and threw some more strong punches the best he could and one spin straight kick to the stomach to only push his opponent back a few feet

"Hey, that wasn't bad at all." Mr. Strong chuckled.

"It looks like you got more than what your tiny body of yours." Mr. Strong commented.

"Thanks, you definitely got the body of a tank that my hands are shaking!" Zack laughed commenting at the big old man.

"Now let see if you can stop this!" Zack jumped high and dive down with a straight kick to the head.

"You're gonna need to do better than that!" Mr. Strong smiled excitingly.

Mr. Strong reacted quick enough to grab Zack's leg to spin the black man around twice then he has him slammed onto the ground, this made Zack gasp in pain and bounce from the floor of the ring just when the wrestler performed a body slam right on top of Zack.

"How do you like me now?" Mr. Strong asked smirking.

"I prefer liking you from a… distance!" Zack quickly pushed the wrestler off with all his might.

Zack flips himself back up and goes in throwing some punches and few kicks which the secretly wrestler Bass blocks them with his arms and taking the hits on his body.

"I think it's time I show you why I'm called Mr. Strong!" Mr. Strong threw his arms apart throwing Zack back.

Before Zack would recover and regain his footing, Mr. Strong made a surprisingly fast dash to punch the little back man to make him turn around and grabbed him around his body with his arms, then performs a strong suplex.

Zack could feel his brain bouncing around the inside of his head from the impact of this guy's attack.

"I'm not done yet!" Mr. Strong smiled.

"Looks like we have our winner." Shadow smirked, knowing this fight is over crossing his arms.

Mr. Strong held Zack upside-down with one arm and throwing a fist in the air to do one of his own poses, then jump to hold Zack in place onto his front and slams the man down right back onto the ring making the ring shake again.

"Oh yeah, I am the MAN!" Mr. Strong cheered.

(Music End)

Shadow walks over to the unconscious Zack to see if he isn't too hurt from the fight.

"No, mom… I don't to practice the piano anymore!" Zack moaned in his sleep.

"He'll be fine." Shadow sighed smiling and look to Mr. Strong.

"Congratulations, you are now a combatant of the Dead or Alive Tournament." Shadow said holding out his hand to the wrestler.

"Thanks, little dangerous looking young man. Now I can finally see what Tina got!" Mr. Strong excited.

"(And hope to stop Tina from getting into more dangerous fights like this tournament.)" Bass thought hoped.

"Yeah, I'm gunning for ya, Tina!" Mr. Strong shouted.

"You know, sometimes it's not always a good thing for the dad to be so overprotective for his daughter." Shadow walked a few feet from Mr. Strong.

"But I know your heart is in the right place, Bass Armstrong." Shadow smiled.

"Yeah, you better believe it!" Bass cheered, and gasp upon realizing what Shadow just called him.

"H-Hey, young man, I think you got the wrong… guy?" Bass tried to make up a lie that he isn't Bass at the moment, but only to be met with silence and no sign of Shadow anywhere.

"Man, is that guy Batman or what?" Bass asked shock, trying to find Shadow anywhere.

"Well, guess I better go home and get ready for the tournament." Bass shrugged, and then saw the sleeping Zack.

"I'll just take him to the bar, bet the guy would love to have some drinks with a good buddy." Bass smiled as he tosses Zack onto his shoulder and walk over to the bar center.

(With Shadow)

"Well, looks like we finally got all the fighters we need and now things will be looking up very high for the tournament." Shadow said while running on the water heading back to the boat.

Once Shadow makes his way back onto the deck, he sensed another present here coming at him fast and reacted fast with grabbing a hand holding a katana that was aiming for his heart and taking the other arm with a smaller blade that was gunning for his neck.

"Didn't expect a sudden visit from Kasumi's younger sister." Shadow said looking to see Ayane who was the one who attacked him.

"Looks like you have reflexes and instinct to counter me." Ayane commented.

"It pays to be this strong." Shadow smirked a bit.

"Now, what are you doing here exactly?" Shadow asked as he gently pushes Ayane off.

"I just came by to see how you were doing and if you hadn't done anything evil." Ayane explained her reason of being here.

"Still not fully trusting me?" Shadow asked.

"Well, you were created by M.I.S.T. to become their super weapon." Ayane pointed out one fact.

"But for some reason, they decided to throw me away because something happened in the past which I cannot remember and causes Donovan to abandon me in that lab." Shadow mentioned.

"There is also the fact you are in a relationship with a clone of my own big sister who is still wanted by the clan for breaking the rules." Ayane added.

"Ai is driven more about finding Alpha-152 than the originally one, but I can promise you that she is not your enemy and I'm planning on telling her about Kasumi soon right after the tournament." Shadow revealed his plan.

"Won't that just make things weird for both of them?" Ayane asked.

"For Ai, yes. But I already explain about her to Kasumi, and she is willingly going to give her a chance once the two meet." Shadow explained.

"That is just like Kasumi, trying to see the good in everything before knowing the full truth then strike the threat down before it can become too dangerous." Ayane sighed.

"That's one way to describe your sister." Shadow commented.

"She maybe my sister, but she is still a traitor to the clan and I must perform my duties." Ayane stated, and yet Shadow can see the slight of hurtfulness in her eyes.

"Are you really sure that's what you want for your sister?" Shadow asked walking up to her.

"That just how it is between us, but sometimes it feels like…" Ayane paused for a moment.

"Like what?" Shadow asked curiously.

"Forget it, that is just something between me and Kasumi." Ayane crossed her arms under her breasts.

Shadow can tell this girl has a lot on her mind about Kasumi knowing that deep down she really still admires Kasumi as a great ninja and wants to be the best like her, but there is also the fact that Ayane will have fight her every time they meet up because of the clan's rules despite the fact they are sisters.

"Well, I still think you two would still work things out and be the sisters you two were or even better." Shadow said.

"How could you be so sure of that?" Ayane asked raising an eyebrow.

"I don't, I'm just following my gut here and it's saying to comfort one pretty and stubborn ninja." Shadow smirked.

"(D-Did he just call me pretty?)" Ayane thought surprised.

"Such stupid words won't make me drop my guard around you." Ayane stated while hiding her blushing cheeks.

"I know, I'm stating the fact that you always have to put up a tough face while having the strength to back up those words." Shadow walked up behind Ayane and wrap his arms around her much to the ninja's shock.

"H-Hey! What do you think you're doing? You better know of the risk for trying anything on a ninja like me!" Ayane warned.

But Shadow ignored her warnings and pulled her in for some kissing on the lips shocking the ninja girl though now kisses back to enjoy it, her very first kiss and it's felt more than she could ever imagined that she felt her world expanding to new things now.

The kiss lasted for two minutes and the two separate their lips from each other, and Ayane straight up punch Shadow right in the face knocking him down.

"You… You… You edgy bastard?!" Ayane yelled in rage with her face all red and ninja teleport away from the scene.

"Well, that was something." Shadow smirked, not minding the punch.
