Hermione's POV – The Hospital Wing
I guessed the Doctor was going delirious because when we got there he kept denying what happened last night and what was going on. I became less worried about where Juliet was and more worried about the Doctor. It finally got to the point where Madam Pomfrey had to knock him out. I felt bad as I sat by him. I remember Juliet telling me how she used to go into states when she was with her dad. She used to cry about random things and tell him she was just a human girl.
I sighed as she took blood from the Doctor began to check his heart beat. She frowned slightly and moved the stethoscope.
"What?" I asked quietly.
"Listen," She muttered.
I listened, and as I did I heard the faint beating of a second heart. I moved the stethoscope slightly and heard the second beat of a heart. I looked up at the Master and then walked over, checking him. He had two heart beats too.
"I said we were Time Lords. Didn't say we weren't different. We are aliens, you know. We have two hearts," The Master explained sitting on one of the beds. "Any questions? No. Good."
I stared at him then looked back down at the Doctor for a moment. He was so full of surprises. I grinned, sitting down next to him.
"Other than that his heart rate is at a deadly high. Do you know what happened?" Madam Pomfrey asked.
"From last night we concluded that he was a werewolf."
I looked up at the older woman sighed and just shrugged as though there was nothing to make him better.
"I can't do much other than say he's got to be like that forever. Unless someone comes up with a brilliant cure he's just got to be like that," She explained to us.
I sighed and sat there, waiting for him to regain consciousness. I wondered what it was like to be in a dreamless sleep. I guessed that's what they remembered after they woke up from the full moon. I felt slightly bad, but I knew it was just the truth of it all.
Harry's POV – The Gryffindor Common Room
All of the professors and everyone from the other houses were packed in here. Nobody would tell us what was going on. They just said to go to the common room where they could stay guard. They kept me in the back for 'safety reasons.' It wasn't so bad. Ginny and Ron were with me. They kept the Twins at the front, which made me slightly nervous. If anything got in they'd be right there, and Percy was in the boy's dorms trying to keep everyone in there quiet. We could talk, but it had to be in a whisper.
Dumbledore had assigned Professor Snape to guard us, which made me a bit angry. He wouldn't tell us what happened, if we asked he made some sarcastic or rude remark.
There was a commotion in the front as the portrait opened. I tried to see over some of the seventh year, and managed to get a glimpse of who was coming in. Hermione and the Master were carrying the limp body of the Doctor. They headed straight back towards me after standing and explaining something to the teachers in the front. Madam Pomfrey entered after them and the portrait was quickly shut. Juliet wasn't with them. She was all alone out in the castle with whatever danger was roaming.
Hermione's POV – The Gryffindor Common Room
My heart leaped with excitement when we reached Harry. I carefully set down the Doctor by Harry, and then I hugged him tightly.
"I'm so glad you're alright!" He exclaimed as he hugged back.
When he let go I grinned at him. He looked pretty tired, but not hurt. I was relieved. I almost cried when I saw him. I missed being in classes and everything being normal. I noticed Snape was watching them and Ginny and Ron were with him.
"Where's Juliet?" Ginny asked anxiously.
"She's why we're all hiding here. I turned her into something and I don't know how to reverse it," The Master admitted as the Doctor began to wake.
"Then why are we keeping you here?" Ron asked rudely.
I cut in, "He's trying to help us. He says that there's something important about me that can stop her."
Ron nodded slightly, glaring at the Master slightly. I giggled to myself a bit. Ron was so protective of Harry and I. I was exhausted enough to where Ron's defensiveness was slightly annoying. I felt someone put there arm around me and I began to drift. I was pretty warm and comfortable. I curled up against the person whose arm was around me and fell asleep.
The Doctor's POV – The Gryffindor Common Room
I smiled at Hermione. She was so tired, and I guessed it was from hiding in the classroom all last night. I rubbed her shoulder as I felt her curl up by me.
"So, have you guys seen Juliet, yet?" I asked them.
They all shook their head and I looked down slightly. I felt bad for what I let happen. She had a family and friends. She was a pretty normal kid and I let something bad happen to her. Just like last time. I remembered seeing her almost every night. She looked so sick and so tired. She was thin and said she only trusted me and Chase. Chase had left the school right after I left. I sighed and looked down at my hands, hoping to make it better.
