After finishing their eventful breakfast, Burchard finds himself in the hall being guided by Ram, who without the watchful eyes of her master, had let her lose what little of her professional demeanour that she had showed him, which is best showed by her saying, "I hope you realize how annoying of a task it is going to be to have to show you around."

After chuckling a bit, he couldn't help but grin while responding, "oh? Well I'm terribly sorry to have inconvenience you in such a way."

For some strange reason, his response only annoys her further as she remarks, "oh don't give me your sarcasm. It is bad enough that I'm stuck with you for the forceable future so I would rather not have to deal with your attitude as well."

While still grinning, he responds, "oh? Well, I'm sorry to tell you that sarcasm is part of the whole package."

For some strange reason, she seemed to be annoyed by this while saying, "excuse me? Why would I want anything to do with your package?"

For reasons unknown to her, he has to fight not to burst out laughing. Seeing this causes Ram to stop in her tracks then looks back at him suspiciously while asking, "what may I ask is so funny?"

Coming to a stop behind her, he decides it probably wasn't a good idea to tell her, so he forces himself to don a straight face while replying, "eh, it isn't really worth bringing up."

She continues to glare at him suspiciously but thankfully for him, she turns away from him and starts walking again while saying, "well fortunately for you, I do not feel the need to spare you the extra time to explain it."

All he could do was sigh in relief then continues to follow her down the hall until she once more comes to a stop in front of a door. She looks back to him and while motioning to the door, she tells him, "This shall be your residence for the time being."

He looks at the door with intrigue while asking her, "I'm guessing Subaru is still in the same room from this morning?"

A bit surprised to be asked this, she looks back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "and why do you wish to know that?"

Unfazed by the question, he replies, "well he is my employer and its my job to protect him, so I need to know where he is."

She turns so she was fully facing him and while staring him down, she responds, "since you are both guests of this estate, your safety is assured."

Accepting her unspoken challenge, he stands his ground and stares back at her unflinchingly while saying, "and I'm the only one here being paid to protect him, so I need to know where he is."

With that, they both fall silent while continuing to try and stare down each other. Seeming to get annoyed, Ram simply sighs then tells him, "Due to your unique entrance into his room this morning, that room has been deemed unusable for the foreseeable future, so he has been moved to the room next to it."

Satisfied with the answer, Burchard starts to grin at her while saying, "why thank you."

For some strange reasons, she seems to be surprised to hear this but realizing something, he couldn't help but grin while asking, "oh? are you that surprised that I'd actually say something nice to you?"

With her surprise now being replaced with annoyance, she scoffs at him then replies, "I was simply surprised that there where any kind words in your vocabulary."

Finding this amusing, he couldn't help but chuckle but before he could say anything else, she turns toward the door and unlocks it with a key while telling him, "Though I do enjoy insulting you, I have much better things to be doing right now besides baby sitting you."

Not exactly surprised to hear this, he watches as she looks back and hands him the key while saying, "there is only one key to this room so do not lose it."

While holding it in his hand, he studies the old fashioned looking key then with a grin, he looks back at her while asking, "so I don't need to worry about you sneaking into my room at night?"

Visibly disgusted to hear this, she snaps back, "do not even think that that is a remote possibility."

While continuing to grin, he responds, "just wanted to make sure."

Seeming to have enough of him, she looks away while saying, "well now that you are sure, I shall be going."

She takes a step away from him but seeming to remember something, she stops then looks back at him while saying, "one more thing. For reasons I do not understand, my master has deemed it necessary to give you free reign to go where ever you please and use any facilities we have as you may need them."

Surprised to hear this, he thinks, "really?"

Though with a thought coming to mind, he asks her, "then do you have a bath or something? Been needing one for the past few days."

For dramatic effect, she reaches up and pinches her nose while responding, "oh really? I must say I did not know that. Though the dead flowers I find wherever you have been where a hint."

Annoyed by another one of her insults causes him to glare at her while saying, "haha, very funny, though you saying I need a bath is kinda ironic since some of this grime is your spit."

Caught off guard by being reminded of an event she hoped both of them would forget, she turns beat red while snapping at him, "will you stop bringing that up!"

With a mischievous thought coming to mind, he couldn't help but smile cheekily at her while saying, "if you ask me nicely I will."

Shocked to be asked what is apparently an impossible task for her to do, she could only glare at him and finally at her wits end, she tells him, "If it was anyone else, I would consider it, however I do not believe that you should ever receive any kind words."

Before he could respond, she turns away but before she walks away, she says, "though I would be willing to simply refrain from insulting you as severely as I normally would."

Surprised to hear this, and with her back turned to him, he couldn't tell how she was reacting to saying this. After thinking about it for a moment and realizing that this was probably as good as he was going to get, he tells her, "Alright, you have a deal."

Not wanting to give him the pleasure of seeing her gritting her teeth in anger, she continues to look away while calmly saying, "very well."

She walks off while continuing, "now I shall be off, see to it that you aren't to much of a bother."

Annoyed to be insulted once more, he glares at the back of her head while snapping, "hey! I thought you were going to tone down the insulting?"

While still walking, she sarcastically responds, "but I did? I refrained from comparing you to a barnyard animal."

With that, she disappears down a hallway, leaving him alone and annoyed while asking himself, "she's gonna use that loophole to keep on insulting me, isn't she?"

Realizing that there was nothing else to do, he simply sighs disheartedly then says, "whatever."

He looks at the door to his room while saying, "now lets see how this room looks."

He opens the door expecting to see a bed but instead, he sees an infinite library with an unfortunately familiar blonde girl sitting next to a pile of books while looking up from one and back at him blankly. With how these past few days have been going, he honestly wasn't surprised to see her but before he could say anything, she tells him, "We have much to discuss I suppose."
