Narrator Crystal here sorry for any delay the creator was setting up his youtube channel and setting up his other stories anyway let get this show started I had to do some modification to the chapters to accommodate some of my extra ideas
CHAPTER 7 the ruins and an old friend?
POV: a very very very long time ago long before the crisis known as the timelines collapse

"a kid?" said the girl looking down and seeing a kid about 4 feet tall with brown hair and a striped shirt
"oi kid wake up," said the white-haired teenager shoving the kid around

"Kakashi-san wake up" said a blond-haired girl as she shoved Kakashi around
said Ninja promptly getting up on his feet and starteds looking around and then lookeds in front of him seeing a notification about his soul being perseverance

Perseverance is the trait of someone who will find a way to persevere through some of the hardest of situations and problems, normally someone with this trait will almost never give up on their goals but very dark and harsh situations can make a person lose sight of their dreams but with time and help of others a person with the perseverance trait will always get up and go forward doing the best they can for the people they care about

PERSEVERANCE BONUS:
1: allows the user to survive two fatal blows that would kill with 1hp, you gain your two resist every time your hp reaches max
2: allows the user to do two actions in one turn / will translate into being able to double the speed at which the user can use techniques in fights or the user can use a jutsu twice in a row without cooldown
3: gives the user increased willpower in dangerous situations
4: allows the user to remember resets
5: when the user is hit they have a 5-second immunity frame where they are invincible each hit no matter from who or where or how it happens will give the user an immunity frame as long as the attack is not conceptual
6: the justice soul combo while releasing 12 bullets instead of 6
7: the user gains 50 INT and 50 WIS
perseverance is the closest soul trait to determination and as such is the strongest trait out of the basic 6 human soul traits, this trait goes well with kindness since the kindness soul can fully heal or save someone's life
(what? this is not what I expected in fact I thought this was gonna be much worse but from what I can tell this is extremely good I can see why the 3rd made this system an SS class secret the entire world would kill each other for this thing and not only that the fact both crystal and naruto can use this make it so there is a high chance it a bloodline and from what I can tell this perseverance soul is purple hmm I wonder what the others have, hmm I wonder what this reset thing is, also why are my clothes wet) thought kakashi in mere milliseconds

Bravery is the trait of someone who will never back down from danger and will never cower out of a fight they will always protect the weak and fight those stronger than themselves and they believe that a great offense is the greatest defense

1: the user can shout once per hour word of encouragement once that will buff all allies by 50% in all stats
2: Allows the user to take 50% less damage when fighting someone of a higher level than them

Bravery and integrity is a good combo since they can buff each other while justice and bravery are a very good combo for heavy hitting as justice can combine attacks with other traits gaining the ability while buffing them in certain stats if the person they are fighting is in the eyes of the justice soul an evil being
the user is holding back something when they let it go their real trait will appear
naruto smirks thinking that this soul is the best one ever overlooking some of the extra stuff then looks at Sasuke and Itachi he sees that Itachi's is purple while Sasuke's is yellow

Itachi woke up while they were all falling he caught all the kids and used a water jutsu to soften Kakashi's fall since he knew Kakashi would be fine
he then opened his menu to see the soul trait system and read it

Justice is the trait of someone who has very high belief in was is right most of the time seeing the world in black and white but they will always make sure that what they are doing is right this however can bring a person with this trait down the wrong path as they can get lost in there sense of justice and belive that what they are doing in the end is for the greater good and must be done for justice even though it could be excessive, this trait is often seen in samurai and judges and can be seen in a lot of iwa nins for some reason
Justice bonus:
1: the user can see the karma of someone and will be able to know If they did wrong and if they can be redeemed
2: the user does increase damage to evil-doers and evil beings depending on how much karma they have the more karma the more damage
3: this bonus is locked until the user is thought karmatic judgment from someone who knows it
4: the user gains the ability to do soul combos with other people giving them the ability to combine the strength of the two soul into a combo attack with great power this soul combo is a fusion of the soul bullets perk and a soul trait of someone in your party
5: the user can shoot soul bullets from their fingers or a range weapon like an empty revolver each bullet do 50% of total damage and the user shoot six at once each shot takes 50 chakra
6: allows the user to execute judgment on someone making them gain a 50% increase in damage taken
7: allows the user to execute someone with negative karma of more than -10 when that person is at 10% hp or lower as long as that person in within the user's vision, this ability is lost if the user learns karmatic judgment
Justice is a trait that works very well with all other traits and is the only trait that has a locked bonus in the main six human traits but when this bonus is gained it becomes the stronger trait while fighting evil

2: the user can forcibly take out the soul of someone to attack it

determination is a soul that is normally obtained when someone survives a deadly attack with pure willpower without the help of a special ability or trait which will make their soul mutate into that of a determination soul this soul is a soul that is associated with legends as legends say only one person in the world can have it at a time and if there were two the end of reality itself would happen but this was debunked by a teenager and a kid a very long time ago, determination is the soul trait that is connected to heroes of legends in the history of humanity it is said that each person born with determination could bring the end of the world or save it as such determination is the trait of heroes in a prophecy so if one hears of a hero from a prophecy will save the world they will most certainly have determination

1: the user gains the ability to interact with save stars
2:the user gains the ability to interact with their soul menu
3: the user gains the ability to use the soul buttons

determination is a soul that goes well with all other traits and is capable of becoming other traits without fusing with a trait by using items bathed in that trait's magic
(what is this... this doesn't make sense I knew I would probably get determination or bravery because of my personality but this doesn't make sense how did I get this... i should say I had gotten determination since I am pretty sure the cause of this is that I had reincarnated but still I just don't know... what I should do... okay I will just say that I have determination) Crystal thought while starting to have doubts of her own identity and starts to think of what the cause is not realising her own memories have been messed with by me
"hey guys look at this" said hinata having opened a notification with an explanation on the main 7 souls
"hmm this explains all the bonuses each soul gives and it seems every single one has been obtained except patience and kindness" says Kakashi having read all souls except determination but when he does he looks shocked
"determination... this is so strong," said hinata only to notice Crystal's soul is blood-red but without true determination being on the list she and everyone else just associate it as being red for determination
"well from what I can tell Crystal is basically invisible with her 999 luck stat and this soul I'm guessing that her having determination was always the case and honestly I'm sure if there weren't a rule for only two people being able to naturally be born with this trait at the same time I'm sure naruto would also have it so in any case now we need to choose our path" says Kakashi thinking of all possibilities that those souls could be used for, he then realizes that these soul arent base off of chakra but another power source
Itachi was having the same thoughts he then turned to crystal
"Crystal you seem to know what those souls are right? or at least have an idea from what your reaction to reading your stuff is" says Itachi while looking at Crystal's face which look very focused which is rare because the only time she actually looks focused is when she spars with the Hokage even when she fights his brother and her brother at the same time she seems extremely unfocused and deals with them easily which Itachis put it in the box of Crystal takes a lot after her father and Naruto takes a lot after Kushina with the things like naruto creates a bunch of indestructible barriers and Crystal uses normal kunais with zero seals to swap with them as if she was using the flying thunder god technique, which to her defense she learned about how the fourth hokage used to teleport to kunais and thought it sounded similar to how the replacement jutsu works and uses that with her kunai
"Yeah if you guys pull up your stats board you will see that we have a new stat called MAG or what I believe is actually magic and it seems to work similarly to nature chakra in a way since it seems that my mana which comes from my MAG is the same as my chakra which comes from my INT stat meaning it requires some kind of balance, and I'm guessing the soul arts and chakra arts are connected" says Crystal reading her stat menu
"you are right my mana is also the same as my chakra" says the white-haired anbu captain
"also if you press on LOVE in the menu right next to our levels it tells you what it is and it says it's LEVEL OF VIOLENCE and basically it is negative karma" said Crystal which Sasuke nods
"yeah the way my ability to see karma works is that I can see someone's LOVE and EXP and if their EXP is higher than zero or their LOVE is higher than 1 then they killed before and not like kill like most ninjas in Konoha do which is to protect or village no it kill in cold blood and for fun or something like that since we all have zero love so self-defense" said Sasuke
"there is also the fact that if someone kills someone that already has love and they know so they don't gain LOVE so I'm guessing we don't have to worry about that
"All right we should cast a vote I vote that we go with true pacifists since befriending the monster will probably bring us the most rewards and since we unlocked magic from this dungeon they might be able to help us with it" says Itachi
"I'm with Nii-san on this one" says Sasuke following his older brother's choice because he believes his brother is right
"I'm with them on this one" says hinata confident that they can do this
"I think we should just do pacifist it is the least risky one and still gives good rewards" says Kakashi worrying for the safety of the twins
"I'm gonna go with them on this one, sorry Kakashi-san but I don't think I can die here and worst case scenarios naruto can revive me" says Crystal knowing full well what is ahead because she played undertake in her past life
"I will go with Crystal here too since she can also revive me and like she said she can't really die" says Naruto
"Also Kakashi-san don't worry I'm pretty sure the only actually difficult part is befriending the monsters and it is probably considered hard because the monsters probably dislike humans because of a war that happened long ago and that type of hatred gets countered heavily by me and naruto's perk: nature's aura" says Crystal knowing that even without it they could easily do it and that her and naruto already know how to do talk no jutsu since naruto developed it a while ago and she also thinks of many more things they could do but keeps it in the back of her head one thing she is gonna try for sure is to check if the omega timeline is a thing here she knows it technically fan made but the thing is that all the things from her world were considered fictional for all she knows all fictions directly connected to each other could exist here and now all she needs to do is find a door
"all right we are gonna do true pacifist but since it is obligated to have someone with the determination trait we need to see what Crystal can de first" says kakashi
"um let me check what the buttons do" Crystal says pulling up the 4 main buttons that are currently in their normal state
"Can you guys see the buttons?" asks Crystal to which everyone nods their head in conformation that yes they can see them
"all right what about these three?" says Crystal pulling up reset, save, and load which they all nod to again
"all right let me try to check what they do" says Crystal pressing the save button which makes the world freeze around them and turn grey for a second only to start again
"Did... did time just stop" says hinata in disbelief
"not just that I think what save did was save a moment in time-space" says Itachi then his eyes widen in realization with Kakashi soon following
"that time when the whole area went grey when the dungeon first appeared could it be that somehow the system saved a point in time and space without us realizing" said Itachi with Kakashi thinking the exact same thing
"so what you are saying Nii-san is that determination can control time?" says Sasuke
"I think so" says Itachi as he uses a fire jutsu the destroy a pillar
"Crystal can you press the load button" asked Kakashi catching on to what Itachi was trying
"Okay" said Crystal pressing the load button curious to see what turning back time would feel like

"it really worked" said Crystal looking at the pillar

"wait do you not remember?" asked Crystal panicking until Kakashi hand falls down on her shoulder
"it's fine me and Itachi remember" says Kakashi
"Okay so I believe only perseverance and determination traits can remember time being turned ba-" was what Itachi was saying until he got cut off by naruto
"OI I REMEMBER TOO YOU SPEWED OUT A FIREBALL" said Naruto not wanting his sister to stay like this since he could feel how she felt and he didn't like it since the warm and caring feeling she was giving off was replaced by a cold and panicking one that made it seem like she was gonna break down
"oh thank god that means only hinata and Sasuke don't remember" said Crystal calming down from her panic attack
"I really feared only I could remember for a second" said Crystal letting out a small laugh
"it's okay at least now we know we can turn back time if we ever need to" said Itachi looking towards Sasuke who just listen to them not butting in since he knew that he didn't understand at all what was happening the only thing he caught was Itachi spewed out a fireball and that Crystal was fearing about them forgetting something but only him and Hinata did for some reason
"uh what did we forget" said Hinata before Sasuke could ask
"Crystal turned back time with her soul but only us four remember"
"OI I REMEMBER TOO... well I can see their memories and new ones just appeared and look through them" said the Kyuubi annoyed they would even dare to keep him out of there
all right five of us Crystal said through her mindscape
"all right let's get going we should finish this we have a village to get back too" said Kakashi getting everyone attention
"Okay so first we should walk since this place is not that big and we are underground we still don't know what these monster look like or can do, also no attacking okay we can turn back time if things go wrong and chose another route" said Crystal

they all started walking in a group towards to entrance to the ruins and then they saw a flower
"Howdy I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower Hmmm... You guys new to the UNDERGROUND, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused. Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do. Ready? Here we go!" said the talking flower
Kakashi did not trust him but stayed quiet
"See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! Your SOUL starts off weak, but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV. What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course! You want some LOVE, don't you? Don't worry, I'll share some with you!" said Flowey which alerted everyone since they all knew LOVE was the equivalent of levels and that it stood for levels of violence
Five spinning white pellets appear around Flowey. they all nod to each other and dodge
"so you do know what is happening here" Dozens more spinning white pellets appear around the group trapping them.
"You idiot! In this world, it's kill or BE killed. Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this!?" screamed the flower laughing maniacally until a fireball hit him in the face sending it flying into the darkness
" What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth.
"Ah, do not be afraid, as I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS. I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down. You all are the first humans to come here in a long time. Come! I will guide you all through the catacombs."
said Toriel to which they all turn to Sasuke to which all he says is that that her LOVE is at 1
they followed her into the first to which Crystal instantly locked on the puzzle
they walk into a room and Crystal makes anbu hand signs to Kakashi asking him if he can see the star to which he nods and when she asks hinata what she sees when pointing towards the save point she just says red grass to which Crystal nods understanding the situation, Crystal then touched the star and a black menu popped up

"oh oh, I want to do the puzzle!" said Crystal seeming extremely excited
"Are you sure my child you seem to be quite young" said Toriel worrying that Crystal was gonna have trouble because monsters made the puzzles in the ruins and human probably arent used to these kinds of puzzles
"YEAH!" Crystal then proceeded to easily finish the puzzle
"Oh my that was quite fast may I ask how old you are my child?" asked Toriel wondering how old the human girl was
"I am six and so is Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata" said a smirking Crystal which shocked Toriel since she knew they were young but not this young and then she asked how old the other two where
"I am 19 and Itachi here is 11" said Kakashi which made Toriel breathed in relief
"all right that's good I'm guessing you are their legal guardian right?" asked Toriel to Kakashi
"no Itachi here is since he legally became an adult when he graduated from the academy" said kakashi
"what but I thought human became adults when they were 18?"
"yes physically but from a legal standpoint graduating from the academy and becoming a genin is equivalent to becoming an adult"
"why is that?" asked Toriel wondering why passing school would make you an adult
"because he became a ninja and he needs to be put in the village's military" said crystal not caring at all about saying this since it very well-known in the elemental nations
"WHAT a military academy why would children to enter" worried Toriel since she hated the possibility of children being forced into a military camp
"wars a lot of them actually," said Kakashi
"wars? but I thought the last war was the one between humans and monsters
"Hmm well that would be because your world's history and our world are different in fact I believe there is a good chance your mountain is not even in your original world anymore" said kakashi
"huh what do you mean?" asked Toriel very confused
"well simply there is no History of monsters, well magic monsters existing in our world" said kakashi
"what but how could that be but if you guys are not from my world how are you guys here?"
"well it's not that we are not from this world but you guys are not from our world since the underground kinda just popped into existence one day and we are the first to enter ever since," said Crystal
"why would they allow you guys to enter if this place just appeared?" asked Toriel worrying about the chance of their village exploiting children
"don't worry about our village exploiting us since there actually the nicest in the elemental nations" said kakashi
"then what other reason would they allow children to go to war then?" asked Toriel still worried
"you don't to worry about that miss since normally students at the academy only finish at 13 years old Itachi and Kakashi are exceptions since we were at war when they went to the academy and they were genius who actually met all the requirements at a very young age" said Crystal
"how old were they?" asked Toriel wondering how old they were when they became soldiers
"oh Kakashi graduated from the academy at the age of 5 and Itachi did at the age of 7" said Crystal
"WHAT THAT YOUNG! wait could the four of you be in the academy?" asked Toriel now worrying about the other four

AND CUT WHAHAHA I'm so evil anyway sorry for taking so long since the creator has been setting up his YouTube channel yeah you guys probably read it a little while ago but I'm gonna go in more details the creator is kinda broke and needs a job but he isn't good at anything other than thinking up stuff and playing games so he is kinda of in a pickle so in any case he gave himself about a year to make a youtube channel and make it work enough to make a living and so he is gonna start making youtube videos which arent gonna be edited because he can't edit a video to save his life and as such he is now gonna make some videos and figure out a way to write a book and sell it so yeah he also really wants to learn animation as he always thought it would be cool to make his fanfics into animations but he is kinda bad at everything other than games and making stories so yeah here he is also one of the new stories that are gonna come out tomorrow is Crystal timeline fuckery where we actually get a lot of info on what is happening in this chapter and other then that the next chapter coming out is chapter 8: the omegatimeline which is self explanatory also a small point I would like to make this Chara isn't the one form undertale so yeah, the owner's youtube channel will be Minecraft modded because the owner doesn't have a stable internet connection and as such can't do much more so when he does get stable internet again he will do other stuff too and stream which was his original plan so see you guys next time on DRAGON BALL Z wait wrong anime um ON NARUTO GAMER Z uh idk well SEE YOU GUYS NEXT TIME ON TWIN GAMER FOXES Z yeah that works alright BYE also the owner's channel will be linked in his profile page later today
