Shortly after thwarting the attack on Scuttle Town, Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel stepped out of Scuttle Town in search for the Keyhole and for the steam engine Mimic had told them about.
Over to Risky Boots, she was in her bathtub, washing away her troubles.
"Those two brats came just like Ganondorf told me they would. But what do I care? They're just two little kids," Risky Boots said.
"They're more than just a pair of kids," Loki said, stepping in. She placed her arms over her breats.
"Hey! Who let you in here, you perv?! Can't you see there's a lady bathing in here?!" Risky Boots exclaimed.
"You can relax. You don't have anything I haven't seen before. In fact, my bosses, Ganondorf, and Giovanni sent me to aid you in your search for the Keyhole, and how to use the steam engine," Loki said.
"Why would they send you? They should have come and see me themselves, not send in a flunky," Risky Boots said.
"Oh, I'm more than a flunky. Also, you shouldn't underestimate those Keybladers since they took on Medusa, Clockwerk, Mother Brain, and Andross, and those guys were heavy-hitters, but enough dwelling in about the past. How about we discuss the future," Loki said.
"How about we talk about it during after I get out of my bath," Risky Boots said.
Back in Sequin Town, Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel make preparations to head for Water Town and search for the Keyhole and Mimic's steam engine. Once they were ready, they all left though the town gates.
"Okay, before we go further, I should probably warn you two about the dangers coming our way," Shantae said.
"Like what?" Sora asked.
"There are some monsters that live outside of Scuttle Town. Monsters like Dirt Dogs that jump out and throw spears at you. There are also other things like some scarecrows, nagas, orcs, and scorpmen," Shantae said.
"Oh, is that all? We handled more than our share of monsters," Sora said.
"So, it's nothing we can't handle," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Right. I almost forgot about those Heartless," Shantae sheepishly said.
"Well, the chances of running into them is pretty good, but it should be smooth sailing to reach Water Town as long as we don't run into any Heartless," Kairi said.
"Don't jinx it," Shantae said.
As they walked on, they were greeted by round, brown creatures with a yellow marking on their forehead. They have pointy ears and small limbs, along with yellow hands. These are Dirt Dogs. The Dirt Dogs hurled their spears at them, but Kairi casts an aero spell, blowing the Dirt Dogs away. More Dirt Dogs came out and threw their spears, so Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt, shocking them. They made it passed the Dirt Dogs and they came across a cornfield.
"Wow, look at all that corn," Sora said.
"I wouldn't go for that corn. That's Scarecrow Fields," Shantae said.
"Scarecrow Fields?" Kairi asked.
"It got its name because of the scarecrows that live in the area," Shantae said.
"What are scary about scarecrows?" Sora asked.
"Let's just say they scare more than crows; but there aren't any crows in Sequin Land," Shantae said.
"Pikachu?" Pikachu asked.
Just then, the scarecrows appeared. The scarecrows wore a straw hat with a purple line. They are also covered with straw on their neck and limbs. Their eyes are green and luminous. Their skin seems to be black and they have a green shirt and black pants. They also use purple gloves and shoes. They threw some pumpkins at them, and they explode upon contact.
"Exploding pumpkins? They got exploding pumpkins?" Sora asked.
"I'll take care of them," Kairi said. She took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Come out, Flareon!" Her Pokéball opened and Flareon emerged from inside. "How about a little fire, scarecrows? Flamethrower!" Flareon fired Flamethrower, scaring the scarecrows, making them run away in terror, out of fear of fire.
"That sent them running," Sora said as Kairi called back Flareon.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Sure did. At least there weren't any purple ones," Shantae said.
"What's so bad about those?" Sora asked.
"They spew poisonous gas, that's what," Shantae said.
"I'd rather not see those," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"It'll be better to see those scarecrows rather than Heartless. Let's keep going," Sora said. With that said, Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel kept walking toward Water Town when they heard some talking.
"That Keyhole has to be here somewhere," a female voice said.
"Yeah, the boss said those would be looking for it, and we gotta find it first," a male voice said. Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel went to investigate and they saw two members of Team Rocket searching around. With them are a Primepae and a Tangrowth.
"Team Rocket," Sora and Kairi said in unison.
"Team what?" Shantae asked.
"They're bad guys where we're from. And they're nothing but bad news," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"And they're looking for the Keyhole, same as us," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it," Sora said.
With that said, Sora and Kairi stepped in to deal with them.
"The boss will pay us with big money when we find it," the female Team Rocket grunt said.
"Keep dreaming," Kairi said.
"Because you won't be finding it," Sora said. They saw the couple.
"Hey, it's those troublemaking kids!" The male Team Rocket grunt growled.
"How about we make some trouble for them?" The female Team Rocket grunt suggested.
"Fine with me. Tangrowth, you're going in," the male Team Rocket grunt said, stepping in.
"Primeape, let's go ape on them!" The female Team Rocket grunt said. Primeape stepped in. Sora and Kairi took out a Pokéball and they threw their Pokéballs.
"Let's go, Pidgeot!" Sora called out.
"I choose you, Sylveon!" Kairi called out.
Pidgeot and Sylveon emerged from inside, ready to battle. Shantae was amazed by seeing Pidgeot and Sylveon come out at once.
"How many of these things do they have?" Shantae asked.
"Tangrowth! Use Poison Jab!" The male Team Rocket grunt ordered. Tangrowth's fingers emits purple energy and sends it to Pidgeot.
"Dodge and use Wing Attack!" Sora ordered. Pidgeot flew to dodge and smacked Tangrowth with Wing Attack.
"Primeape! Use Fury Swipes!" The female Team Rocket grunt ordered. The Pig Monkey Pokémon rushes at Sylveon with Fury Swipes.
"Sylveon! Use Fairy Wind!" Kairi ordered. Sylveon blew Primeape away with Fairy Wind.
"Primeape! Fire Punch!" The female Team Rocket grunt ordered. Primeape lands a punch onto Sylveon, but then something happened. "Fire Punch again!" Primeape didn't respond. "I said Fire Punch!"
"I'd look closer if I were you," Kairi said. The female Team Rocket grunt does look closer and she saw her Primeape is immobilized by love.
"Oh, no! Primeape just triggered Cute Charm!" The female Team Rocket grunt gasped.
"Cute Charm?" Shantae asked.
"Tangrowth! Use Hyper Beam!" The male Team Rocket grunt ordered. Tangrowth fired Hyper Beam right at the Bird Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Aerial Ace!" Sora ordered. Pidgeot dodged and dashed right at the Vine Pokémon, dealing some heavy damage. "Tangrowth can't attack right away after using Hyper Beam, so Wing Attack!" Pidgeot smacked Tangrowth, and knocked it out.
"Tangrowth!" The male Team Rocket grunt exclaimed. He growled in anger. "You'll pay for that!"
"Primeape! Fight the attraction and use Fury Swipes!" The female Team Rocket grunt ordered. Despite being infatuated with Sylveon, the Pig Monkey Pokémon made his way toward Sylveon.
"Use Dazzling Gleam!" Kairi ordered. Sylveon unleashed Dazzling Gleam, hitting Primeape and resulted in a knockout.
The Team Rocket grunts called back their fallen Pokémon and took off, running.
"We're gonna remember this!" The male Team Rocket grunt said.
"You're going to be sorry!" The female Team Rocket grunt added.
"Other than the Heartless, of course we were gonna have to deal with Team Rocket, too," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"They did make their intention known," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
After dealing with Team Rocket, Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel continued to head for Water Town. They make theirbway through Spider Forest where they fought their way through the spiders that occupied there. And then, they made it to the waterfall. The snakes attacked, but Pikachu and Angel fired Thunderbolt and Swift, hitting them. They made their way to Water Town.
"Here it is. Water Town," Shantae said.
The couple looked around and saw the Greek-like structures all around.
"Which way would we go?" Kairi asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
"There," Shantae said, pointing to a nearby gazebo. Inside is young man who has navy blue hair, a yellow headband, and frequently wears a determined expression. A white bandage is wrapped around his right upper arm. He wears a white tank top underneath a short blue vest and has dark blue shorts. He also wears tan gloves with metal rings around the cuffs. He has bandages wrapped around both arms, and his shoulders appear to be very boney. "Hey, Bolo. Thought I'd find you here."
"Shantae, hey," Bolo said. He noticed the couple. "Who are they?"
"Meet Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel. I met them in Scuttle Town. Speaking of which, we've got an emergency in Scuttle Town!" Shantae said.
"Things have been rather exciting here, too! We just got a visit from the infamous lady-pirate Risky Boots!" Bolo said.
"Risky Boots?!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed.
"Vee?!" Angel exclaimed.
"Pika?!" Pikachu exclaimed.
"She came here already? And she didn't attack?" Shantae asked.
"Pfaw!! Not at all! She just wanted directions to the Dribble Fountain," Bolo said.
"What? You didn't give them to her did you?!" Shantae pleaded. Bolo then blushed.
She sure was pretty! ...And that outfit! Oh, man, so very sexy. Hoo-hoo!" Bolo said. Sora and Kairi just rolled their eyes as Shantae just growled.
"Arrrgh! You imbecile! Now we've got to get there first!" Shantae said.
"Where is Dribble Fountain?" Sora asked.
"You prob'ly passed it on the way here. The aqueduct below it is locked up tight, though. I 'spose I could show you how it opens..." Bolo said.
'You bet you will! You're in the doghouse as it is! we'll meet you at the Dribble Fountain, and you'd better be there!" Shantae stated as they took their leave. Shantae sighed. "I can't believe that idiot."
"He always had a thing for Risky?" Kairi asked.
"Unfortunatley, yes. Not just her, but just about any girl I know. That would include the Squidsmith," Shantae said.
"We just gotta beat that pirate lady to it. And if there are Heartless in the way, we'll have to deal with them, don't we?" Sora asked.
"You're right, Sora. Let's head back to the waterfall and get there," Shantae said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel left Water Town and headed off for Dribble Fountain's entrance. They made it to the spot where he said it was.
"Well, there you are," Sora said.
"There you are! What are you doing now, you idiot?!" Shantae asked.
"I can smell her perfume! So beautiful and alluring!" Bolo said in a mesmorized tone. Sora, Kairi, Shantae, Pikachu, and Angel became annoyed by Bolo attraction to Risky.
"Oooooh...! Snap out of it! We got to get inside. Whatever Risky's after is worth investigating!" Shantae said.
"Stand back! A quick flick of the wrist and..." Bolo said as he took out a flail and threw it. It hits the eye part of the fountain and it opened. There! That oughtta do it!"
"Well, at least we know it's the way in," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"...You go on inside. I'll wait here in case she comes back!" Bolo said.
"You do that," Sora and Kairi said in unison.
"Come on, you two. Let's go," Shantae said.
With that said, they went down in the fountain to reach Risky Boots and stop her. Will they be able to in time? Find out as we continue on with our journey through the worlds.
