Chapter 86 Dancing through Electricity
Ash and Alice arrive at the base of the Thundrome Pass, the winds carrying the faint sound of crackling thunder in the distance. Standing with them is Electra, Ash's sister Elena's best friend, known for her affinity with Electric-type Pokémon. They've come to the Lightning Temple, a place said to house immense power tied to the very essence of thunderstorms.
Electra eyes the towering structure of the temple ahead, her expression calm yet determined. "This is it," she says, her voice steady. "The Lightning Temple. And the Lightning Stone is waiting at the pillar inside."
Ash nods, glancing at the stone in his hand. "Right. We'll place the Lightning Stone on the pillar like we did at the Wind Temple."
Alice, standing beside him, looks up at the towering storm clouds overhead. "I'm guessing this temple holds just as much mystery and power."
As they approach the entrance of the Lightning Temple, Electra steps forward. "I'll stay here and guard the door. You two head inside. If anything happens, I've got the place covered."
"Thanks, Electra," Ash says, smiling at her.
With a nod, Electra turns and takes position near the entrance, ready to guard the stone and keep watch for any potential intruders. She takes her role seriously, ensuring no one gets past her to disturb Ash and Alice inside the temple.
Ash and Alice exchange a look and head into the depths of the temple, the air around them buzzing with electrical energy. As Ash and Alice continue through the Lightning Temple, the air begins to crackle with energy. In a flash of light, Aethera, the Legendary Pokémon embodying the element of Aether, materializes before them. Its form pulses with the spark of life, a calming yet powerful presence filling the temple.
Ash and Alice exchange a glance, recognizing the Pokémon they had met once before, during the incident when the Lightning Stone was stolen by Team Solar.
Aethera's voice resonates softly in the air around them. "We meet again, Ash and Alice. Your efforts to retrieve the Lightning Stone and protect the balance between species have not gone unnoticed. You saved many lives, and for that, I wish to express my gratitude."
Ash smiles. "It's great to see you again, Aethera. We couldn't have done it without your help back then."
Alice nods in agreement. "Yeah, thanks to you, we were able to stop Team Solar before they caused more harm."
Aethera's form glows softly as it speaks. "I wish to join you, to lend my power to your cause. Together, we can ensure that harmony between all species continues, as I am the spark that allows them to communicate and thrive."
Ash looks at Alice, and they both smile. "We'd be honored, Aethera," Ash says, holding out a Pokéball.
Aethera gently nods, and with a flash, it allows itself to be captured, joining Ash and Alice on their journey to protect balance and harmony.
Aethera: The Aether Symbol Pokémon: Electric Type. Embodying the element of Aether, Aethera is said to hold the spark that can create life, and is able to allow species to communicate with each other.
After completing their mission at the Lightning Temple, Ash, Alice, and Electra make their way to Rassic City to wrap up the final quest at the Quest Floor. The bustling city is alive with activity, but their focus remains on completing their task.
Meanwhile, in the Pokémon Center of Rassic City, Clemont is hard at work, tinkering with one of his machines. Wires and gadgets are scattered around him, as he adjusts his latest invention. Tokui, standing nearby with arms crossed, looks increasingly annoyed.
"Are you sure you're not just trying to build something to track Ash and Alice?" Tokui snaps, narrowing his eyes.
Clemont sighs, not looking up from his work. "No, Tokui! I'm working on something completely different. Besides, Ash and Alice will show up when they're ready."
Just as their argument picks up, Clemont and Tokui's attention is caught by the sight of Ash, Alice, and Electra entering the Quest Floor. The trio is busy with a hiker, showing him a Meterock that knows Wish. The hiker gently places his hand on the Meterock, his expression hopeful.
"Alright," the hiker says, stepping back, his eyes glinting with anticipation. "That should do it. My wish should come true now. Thanks for your help." He reaches into his bag and hands Ash a shimmering Comet Shard. "Here, take this for your trouble."
Ash accepts the shard with a smile. "Thanks, and good luck with your wish."
Clemont and Tokui exchange glances, realizing they've once again stumbled upon Ash and Alice at just the right moment.
Before Clemont and Tokui can rush over to speak with Ash, Alice, and Electra, the trio has already left the Quest Floor, heading for Rustbolt City. Clemont clenches his fists, frustration bubbling up. "We were so close!"
Tokui scowls, equally annoyed. "They're not going to keep slipping away like this. Let's go after them."
Without hesitation, Clemont releases his Magnezone, while Tokui sends out Crobat. Both determined, they hop onto their Pokémon, ready to chase Ash, Alice, and Electra across the city and beyond.
"Let's see if they can outrun us now!" Clemont declares as they take off in hot pursuit.
As Ash, Alice, and Electra enter the Rustbolt City Gym, Ash can't help but smile as memories flood back. "This place... it was a dance hall," he says softly, glancing at Alice. "Remember? This is where we had our first dance."
Alice nods, her eyes lighting up. "I remember. It feels like it was just yesterday."
Electra turns to them, a grin spreading across her face. "Well, it looks like today's filming is going to take you back. The movie's theme is dancing, and we'll need all the help we can get. Ash, how about you bring out all of your Electric Pokémon for the scene?"
Ash nods, excited. "Right! Let's get started."
Meanwhile, outside the gym, Clemont and Tokui arrive, catching a glimpse of Ash and the others preparing for the filming. They quietly slip inside and hide behind a large sofa, trying not to be noticed. Clemont frowns, watching the scene unfold.
"Of course... Ash never knew how to dance," Clemont mutters under his breath, rolling his eyes as he peeks over the sofa. Tokui smirks but stays quiet, keeping an eye on what's happening.
In the grand dance hall of the Rustbolt City Gym, Ash's Electric-type Pokémon begin their performance. Weashock leads the group, its sharp reflexes allowing it to glide effortlessly across the polished floor. Small sparks of electricity flicker around it as it controls the energy with precision, enhancing its movements and adding flair to the dance. Terravolt moves in sync with the beat, each step shaking the floor slightly as electricity crackles along its wings. Despite its powerful presence, it maintains perfect rhythm, flowing with the music. Eelect slithers smoothly across the room, its tail glowing with electrical energy as it flicks it in time with the dance, making its way through the hall with grace and coordination.
In the wide, open space of the dance hall, Rushot darts around, moving so fast it appears as a blur of lightning, perfectly in sync with the rhythm. Every time the music picks up speed, Rushot matches it effortlessly, zigzagging through the hall as if chasing the sound of thunder itself. Chamelectro, with its signature electric tongue visible, adds a unique touch to the dance. Its tongue flicks out in time with the beat, the static crackling harmlessly through the air as it twists and turns. Aethera glides gracefully, its ethereal form radiating calm, balancing the raw energy of the other Pokémon with its gentle movements. Each step it takes is accompanied by a subtle pulse of light, creating an almost mesmerizing aura as it moves across the hall.
Cheetric blazes across the dance floor with incredible speed, its movements so swift that it seems to disappear and reappear in different parts of the hall. As it dances, the air around it hums, almost as if it's breaking the sonic barrier with every turn, adding a thrilling energy to the routine. Aurorai gracefully follows, leaving behind shimmering, colorful trails of light with every dash. The Pokémon's movements reflect the beauty of the auroras it gathers light from, creating a mesmerizing spectacle as it glides through the hall. Raizodon, more grounded but no less impressive, moves with a slow, deliberate rhythm. Every step it takes releases stored energy, crackling around its body, and the constant high voltage gives it an almost mechanical precision as it keeps the beat.
Hummzap flits about the dance hall, its rapid wing movements creating a steady buzzing sound that hums in sync with the rhythm. The Pokémon's wings create small electric pulses in the air, adding a sharp energy to its swift, darting dance movements. Markrush, though usually an ocean dweller, adapts gracefully to the dance floor, its fluid movements mimicking the currents of the sea. Even while on land, it moves with smooth, flowing motions as though swimming through an invisible ocean, its gills subtly pulsing as if still oxygenating. Atomotrix, with its multiple bodies, dances in perfect harmony, each part of it analyzing the rhythm and movements with precision. Its synchronized steps are calculated and complex, making its dance a mechanical masterpiece of coordination and efficiency.
Meterock zooms around the dance hall, its speed mirroring its reckless flight through the stratosphere. It weaves through the other Pokémon with little regard for obstacles, occasionally crashing into walls but quickly recovering and returning to the flow of the dance. Strikloud, always ready for action, moves with an aggressive energy. Lightning crackles around its body as it stomps and spins, its every movement charged with the potential of a storm. Blitziboom takes center stage, its powerful movements illuminating the room. Even in the absence of real weather, its presence is commanding, as though it could blow away the clouds with its sheer force. Every step is filled with electricity, making the room seem to pulse with light as it moves.
Glowing radiates an intense light as it moves across the dance hall, its luminescence so bright it seems to flood the room as if it were daylight, making its dance feel almost ethereal. The Pokémon's glow pulses in time with the rhythm, guiding the others as if lighting a path. Psytric, with its mysterious origins, adds an unpredictable element to the routine. Its movements are sharp and robotic, as though calculating each step with mechanical precision, its eerie presence blending perfectly into the high-tech atmosphere of the gym. Meanwhile, Cobolta dances with a more flamboyant style, its body flashing vibrant patterns as it channels electrical currents through its skin. The shifting designs make its dance captivating, as it shows off its agility and sparks of light, adding a dazzling visual to the performance.
Signileaf moves gracefully across the dance hall, its leaf-like body fluttering as it shifts with the beat. Occasionally, it sends out small pulses of energy that subtly affect the radiowaves in the room, adding a unique, rhythmic hum to the performance. Mersidon stands tall and proud, its trident-like tail raised high as it steps in time with the music. The electricity in the air crackles around it, occasionally drawing small bolts of lightning from above that pulse through its body, adding flashes of light to the dance. Pikachu, ever the energetic performer, zips around the room with boundless enthusiasm. Its ears twitch in time with the beat as it moves, and it lets out small sparks of electricity with every spin and leap, lighting up the hall and bringing an extra spark of joy to the performance.
As the Electric Pokémon fill the hall with their energetic dancing, Ash and Alice join in, moving in perfect sync with the beat. Their steps are fluid and natural, creating a captivating display. With each spin and twist, the atmosphere becomes even more electrified. The intensity of their movements causes Clemont, who is still hiding behind the sofa, to lose his glasses as they fall to the ground.
Tokui glances at him and mutters, "Not good at dancing? Are you kidding me?"
Clemont, rubbing his eyes as he reaches for his fallen glasses, sighs in disbelief. "Well... Ash does have a knack for surprising me. Guess I was wrong about that."
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, we have the Electric Type done. The next chapter is the Fire Type.
