Armed with his adventuring gear, Naruto trekked down the streets of Axel with a grin on his face. His etiquette coaching had gone well, Aqua didn't cause any trouble during the lunch, and he was now on his way to the guild to take on a quest with Yunyun. Rent was due and his wallet was empty, and Kazuma had said the reward money from Syvlia's bounty would take the guild a couple days to collect.

Chalice offered to pay for his services, as the ramen had been a huge success. But Naruto declined since he would have felt bad for taking the man's money after he'd made such a generous last second exception for his training.

Besides, it was finally time to start questing with Yunyun again. He couldn't remember the last time they'd gone on an adventure together and was looking forward to it.

'Should we finally go on the Griffin and Manticore quest? It should still be available… I doubt any of those guys willingly accepted it.'

Naruto thought when a familiar mop of pale blonde hair burst out of a nearby alleyway.

A wild Dust appeared!

"Boss! I need your help!"

Dust wailed as he ran up to the shinobi looking frantic.

"What, do you owe someone money again? Sorry, but I'm completely broke so I can't bail you out this time."

Naruto stated while making a shooing motion with his hand.

"No! I mean, I do owe people some money… But that's not what I need help with! I got into an argument with Lynn, and I ended up accepting a super dangerous quest that no man has ever come back from alive just to spite her! Taylor and Keith have abandoned me, and I didn't have anyone else to turn to! You can have all of the reward money, just please help me!"

The delinquent adventurer begged while sinking to his hands and knees, prompting the ninja to panic as they were quickly drawing in a lot of attention.

"O-okay, okay! Just get up already and tell me about this quest! Yunyun and I are going to work today anyway, so we can help you out."

Naruto urged for the boy to stand, and Dust grabbed onto his pants while sniffling.

"T-thank you Boss! I swear to follow you until the day I die!"

"S-stand up already! Also, would you seriously stop calling me Boss!"

–His mood now less than chipper, Naruto sighed as he and Dust made their way towards the Adventurer's Guild. Luckily, the people who had witnessed their little fiasco didn't seem to be bothered by their antics.

"So, what's this quest-Oof!"

Naruto grunted when a body suddenly tackled him from behind, and he forced himself upright to avoid crashing onto the ground.

"Darling~!"

'Oh no…'

A wild Cecily appeared!

Tiredly looking to his left, Naruto found a pair of wide blue eyes staring right into his. His face immediately flushed, memories of his departure from Alcanretia instantly resurfacing which made his heart leap.

Prying the crazy priestess from his body, Naruto crossed his arms and (mostly) leveled his gaze on her.

"Hey, Cecily… What are you doing in Axel? Weren't you supposed to be overseeing the reconstruction of Alcanretia?"

"Yes, but then Lord Zesta assigned me to the Axel branch to make sure there weren't any more reformed members here! Isn't that wonderful? Now we can pick up where we left off!"

Cecily claimed with puffs of steam coming out of her nose, her eyes burning into him with a hunger that unnerved the boy.

A shiver crawled up Naruto's spine and he promptly took a step back. He was still recovering from his newly discovered trauma, courtesy of Sylvia and the Orcs, so dealing with Cecily who did very little to hold back did not sound like a good time.

"R-right… But we're actually in the middle of something, so I can't play with you right now. Right, Dust?"

Naruto stuttered and gestured to his delinquent friend.

The wild Dust fled.

'He abandoned me!?'

As Cecily pounced, Naruto vowed to make Dust do all the work during their quest.

Cecily whistled as she walked arm in arm with Naruto towards the Adventurer's Guild.

'How did it end up like this… I only just left the inn, so why do I already want to go back and sleep?'

Naruto managed to persuade the girl to cease her harassment by inviting her to go on the quest, to which she happily accepted as soon as Yunyun's name was mentioned.

"How's little Yunyun been? Has she developed at all since last time?"

Cecily asked while making suspicious hand gestures with her free hands.

"Please don't sexually harass my party member or I'll ship you back to Alcanretia."

Naruto stated, but reeled back when the girl looked at him expectantly. That's right… Such threats wouldn't work on this girl anymore. She was just as hopeless as Darkness.

"How's Aqua-sama? I trust you've been treating her like she deserves?"

"Mhm."

Naruto idly responded. In fact, he treated Aqua to one of the finest restaurants in Axel. But that was the last thing he would say to this crazy priestess or she'd go berserk.

"Hmm…"

Cecily hummed while looking up at the boy with a small smile on her face.

Naruto averted his gaze. Did she know? Was she about to start making some crazy demands?

To the boy's relief, Cecily simply went back to whistling.

Resisting the urge to sigh, Naruto was further relieved to see that they were nearing the Adventurer's Guild. Slipping out of the girl's grasp, the ninja ran up the short steps to the entrance.

"It's quest time!"

"Wah!"

The moment Naruto pulled the door open, he was surprised when a silver-haired girl fell into his arms.

A wild Chris appeared!

"Sorry Chris... You okay?"

The shinobi sheepishly asked as he helped straightened the Thief on her feet.

"Y-yes, thank you. I heard you were back in town, so I was actually looking for you. Do you have a minute to talk?"

Chris asked when she noticed the second blonde that was now walking up the steps behind the ninja, and she was looking directly at her.

It took no more than three seconds for Cecily to react.

"Ah! It's Eris cultist that Aqua-sama told me about! The Thief that specializes in stealing the hearts of taken men!"

Cecily shouted and was about to pounce on the startled Chris, but Naruto quickly intervened by grabbing the girl's ear.

"Owowowow! That hurts! I-is this a new sort of play you want to try!? If so, I am totally on board!"

"Stop spouting nonsense. I heard you gave Chris a hard time during your 'Nunterrogation' malarkey. So apologize and then go find Yunyun."

Naruto instructed, and didn't let go until the priestess settled down.

"Kay… I'm sorry, Chris-san. But you totally had it coming. I've been hearing rumors that you're targeting my darling, amongst a few others. So you can't blame me for defending my man."

Cecily "apologized" before running off before Naruto could scold her again.

"Sorry… Cecily is a little… Well, she's an Axis Cultist, ya know? But yeah, I can talk."

Naruto silently promised to prank that nun later.

Chris let go of a breath she didn't know she'd been holding. Axis Cultists did that to people… She had nearly run off like usual, but had been pleasantly surprised by Naruto's actions. It seemed he was getting better at handling such characters. It reminded her of Kazuma and his party.

Perhaps there was an influence at play?

"T-thanks… There's a lot about what she just said that was kind of alarming, but I'll worry about that later."

Chris muttered as they moved to a more secluded portion of the bustling Adventurer's Guild.

It was still morning, and the place was crowded with rowdy adventurers who were busy preparing for quests.

'I guess their bounty money is finally starting to run out after all.'

Naruto mused when he noticed Kazuma's party. The three girls were currently standing over the boy and berating him with questions. Did something happen?

He watched as Dust approached Kazuma from behind.

"Yo, Kazuma! It's been awhile-"

"Don't stand behind me!"

Kazuma snapped, earning the attention of the majority of the guild.

'Ah… Yeah, he's definitely traumatized.'

Naruto empathetically sent his fellow adventurer his condolences.

"I wonder if Kazuma-san finally snapped… Anyways, how was your adventure? I heard you all defeated another Demon King Army General."

Chris asked with a wry smile, pulling the shinobi out of his thoughts.

"It was… Long. But it was fun traveling with Kazuma and them, and I met some cool people along the way."

Naruto admitted while scratching at his whisker marks as he recounted what had happened during his latest trip. He wondered how Joe and Roaric were doing now.

"You'll have to tell me about it, I'm curious as to what Naruto the Hero Candidate does during his epic travels. What heroic tales can you share with this lowly Thief? Stories that will surely go down in history."

Chris inquired while nodding her head sagely, but the shinobi simply groaned.

"Please, stop… It was exciting at first, but this Hero Candidate talk is actually kinda embarrassing."

Naruto relented a sigh, earning a giggle from the girl. She really liked pulling his leg, didn't she?

"Did you just come here to tease me? This Hero is quite a busy man, ya know?"

"Sorry, sorry. Just a little revenge. Anyways, do you remember what we talked about before you left on your epic journey?"

Chris changed the subject, and Naruto shot her an annoyed glance at the final tease, but nodded his head nonetheless.

"Good, because I have a little favor to ask… Are you free tonight?"

There was a mischievous glint in the girl's lavender eyes, and the mystery of it all made Naruto a little nervous. But at the same time, he felt excited. Like something new was about to unfold.

"Absolutely not."

Naruto declined flatly.

"Why!? You said you would help me!"

Dust demanded and slammed his hands on the table in frustration.

Naruto thought about it, leaned over to Yunyun who was sitting next to him, and whispered something into her ear. She seemed to contemplate the information, giving the delinquent adventurer hope.

"Absolutely not."

Yunyun finally said with a firm nod.

"Seriously, why!? I'm scared of them too, but with your combined strength, those Orcs wouldn't stand a chance!"

Dust cried while looking back and forth between the two.

The quest that Dust had accepted was a scouting job. Apparently, a tribe of Orcs had been spotted within the outer regions of the forests surrounding Axel. Which was bizarre given the fact that most, if not all Orcs were located near the Crimson Demon Village which was quite far from the Town of Beginners.

Hence why the Adventurer's Guild had posted a request to investigate.

Why they let Dust accept such a dangerous quest by himself was beyond Naruto's comprehension, but he would ask them about it later.

"There are reasons why we can't accept this quest, so it would be best to grovel at your party's feet and beg for forgiveness."

Naruto replied, with Yunyun nodding her head in agreement.

"Come now, darling. We should help this poor man in his time of need. Besides, the reward money is quite nice for a quest that only requires a bit of information."

Cecily chimed in while smiling gently, and it might have been a touching moment had she not been tied up by Yunyun after a bout of sexual harassment.

"I forgot to ask, but why is the crazy priestess here? Also, why does she keep calling you 'darling'?"

Dust asked with a raised eyebrow, and Naruto averted his gaze which aroused even more suspicion. His scandalous radar going off, the delinquent narrowed his eyes on the shinobi.

"...Did something happen between you tw-"

"AH! I just realized we won't actually have to fight an Orc, so I guess we can help you out! After all, what are friends for!? Hahaha…"

Naruto jumped up from his seat and wrapped an arm around his former party member while laughing with a strained tone.

This seemed to placate his fellow male, and so the group began their preparations.

But as Naruto freed Cecily from her bindings, Yunyun eyed the two with a hint of suspicion.

Deep in the forests in the outskirts of Axel's territory, Naruto crept along a tree branch with practiced silence.

'That was close… Dust was about to say something unnecessary in front of Yunyun.'

'Why are you scared of that little mage knowing you had a crucial moment with that nun of false worship?'

Kurama asked, causing the ninja to nearly miss a branch and fall.

'I-it wasn't a crucial moment! I just don't want Yunyun to get all riled up about setting me up with Wiz…'

Naruto stopped at what looked like a forest clearing and found a small opening on the hillside that looked like a cave.

'Brat… I was just kidding, but now I'm confused. Does this mean it actually was a crucial moment, or are you going to pursue the Lich like the Crimson Demon wants?'

'I don't know… I'm still thinking about it, ya know? For now, I just wanna… Ah, there they are.'

Naruto cut off his mental link with the nine-tailed fox when he saw a pair of Orcs exiting the cave. Standard beasts, as they looked no different than the ones he'd faced just the other day.

At first he didn't want anything to do with this quest and was just doing it to silence Dust, but now he was beginning to grow curious.

What were monsters that normally lived in high level areas doing here?

Naruto turned around and hopped back a few trees before falling to the ground where his party was.

"Did you find them?"

Dust asked from his position in the back. He'd demanded to take the rear guard, claiming something about wanting to defend the party's beautiful ladies from danger. But it was painfully obvious he just didn't want to make first contact with the Orcs.

Not that Naruto could blame the guy. He wondered if Dust had ever faced a platoon of Orcs before, because the guy's reaction was telling him yes.

"Yeah, they're camping in a cave in the clearing up ahead. I couldn't hear anything from the treetops though."

Naruto confirmed while throwing a thumb over his shoulder.

"I wonder what they're doing here… Maybe they caught wind of a male Orc being born in this area?"

Yunyun suggested, but it was a longshot at best. Even if a male had been born, it wouldn't last long enough for rumors to be spread through two opposite sides of the kingdom.

"Only one way to find out."

Naruto turned around to lead the group to the clearing when Cecily suddenly stepped in front of him.

"Before we make our way towards the enemy camp, I have an announcement to make."

The priestess declared, earning strange looks from the party.

'Oh no…'

Naruto thought, his face turning pale when he realized what she was about to do. But he was too late to intervene this time and could only watch as the woman was about to spout a fountain of nonsense from her mouth.

"I am getting married! Yes, it's true… He asked me to marry him in the headquarters of the Axis Cult! Isn't that romantic!?"

Cecily proudly claimed with her hands on her hips, and Dust instantly looked at Naruto with eyes wide with disbelief.

"I-it's a lie! I mean, technically I did ask her to marry me, but it was only for our plan to re-reform the Axis Cult!"

Naruto instantly denied, but Dust's face simply scrunched up in response. He turned to Yunyun whose expression was strangely neutral, which wasn't a good sign. Was she mad he didn't tell her? It couldn't be helped! It was a long trip!

Also, what would you rather tell your friend first? An awesome tournament for Beast Tamers that led to the unraveling of a mystery in a Forbidden Cave, or the re-reformation of the Axis Cult?

"Oh, darling… Unfortunately, I wasn't talking about you."

Cecily suddenly clarified, drawing the shinobi's attention.

"Eh?"

Naruto squawked. Not him? What did she mean it wasn't him?

"Yes… The truth is, I met a handsome man whose pockets know no bounds. It was love at first sight, and he proposed upon seeing my voluptuous figure."

Cecily continued while twirling a strand of her hair.

Naruto blinked. Cecily was getting married? Like, for real? Then why was she calling him darling and smothering him like usual when she was already engaged? It just didn't make any sense.

Then again, did she ever make sense?

"...When are you getting married?"

He wasn't sure why he asked, but something about this revelation was bothering him.

"We are to be wed in the Fall… Which is plenty of time for me to change my mind in case someone convinces me to elope~!"

Cecily cooed while sending not so subtle glances at the shinobi.

"No, apologize to your fiancé for suggesting something so flakey…"

Naruto retorted without much thought, because his mind was still trying to comprehend the sudden turn of events.

Should he be happy for her? Or should he feel jealous? After all, while he hated to admit it, Cecily had actually caused his heart to flutter on numerous occasions. With that surprise kiss at the forefront of his mind at the moment.

"Hey, isn't this great, Boss? Now you won't have to worry about that crazy gold digger anymore! But I gotta ask, what happened in Alcanretia? I heard that place was getting better to visit from a friend… What's this about a re-reformation?"

Dust whispered into Naruto's ear while elbowing the guy's ribs playfully.

"...The Axis Cult was reformed into a Sect that one wouldn't mind being seen in public with, and they even got along with the Eris Cult. Long story short, I helped Aqua change them back to their original ways."

Naruto absentmindedly explained and took a step away from the baffled boy to look Cecily in the eyes.

"This guy you're gonna marry… Is he decent?"

That's right… Even if he somehow felt something towards this woman, which he totally didn't, who would he be to get in the way of her happiness when he couldn't even make sense of his own feelings?

But what he did know for sure was that he cared for Cecily. Strange and troublesome as she could be, she was his former party member and friend. He wouldn't stand for her to end up with a scumbag.

That just wasn't his style.

Cecily blinked, having not expected such a response.

"Y-yes, he is a wonderful man who has promised to let me live a life of leisure. B-but you know, he's not as handsome as you, darling… You could still-"

"Oh good… I can't have one of my precious people marrying trash, ya know? I'm happy for you, Cecily. Just let me know if this guy ever treats you wrong. I'll set him straight."

Naruto interrupted the Axis Cultist and placed a supportive hand on her shoulder before flashing her a fox-like grin.

Cecily's heart leapt in her chest.

"I changed my mind! Darling is simply the best!"

"E-eh!? Hey, keep it down! The Orcs are gonna hear you! Also, what about your fiancé!?"

As Cecily nuzzled Naruto's reddened cheeks, Dust scratched his head in befuddlement.

"Hey, Yunyun? Do you know what's going on? Because I am so confused right now."

"..."

Yunyun remained silent with an unreadable expression, but the delinquent adventurer didn't have a chance to press for a response when two large figures suddenly stepped out of the brush.

"Oh, what a touching moment…"

"Right? I know what I'll be thinking about while we get it on."

The pair of Orcs mused, causing Dust to shriek and hide behind the Crimson Demon.

Naruto's instincts screamed at him to run away, but he bit back his fear and stepped in front of Cecily defensively.

"Wait. How about a deal? I'd rather not fight if we don't have to. We just want information and we'll be on our way."

"Oh? This man is a real cutie, and he seems to have brains too."

"Alright, what kind of deal?"

The Orcs took the bait, but they were clearly weary of Yunyun. Whether they had experience with the Crimson Demons or were simply hardwired to fear them, Naruto didn't know. But he took advantage of their hesitancy and walked over to Dust.

"Do you trust me, Dust?"

"W-what? Of course I trust you, Boss! With my life!"

Dust responded and grinned, his confidence returning.

That's right, what was there to be afraid of when Naruto was around? The guy could throw a Rookie Killer with his bare hands. Even in the face of the enemy of all men, the Boss didn't break a sweat.

Unlike that pretty boy Mitsurugi, Naruto was a Hero Candidate for all the good reasons!

Naruto nodded before turning back to the Orcs and pointed towards Dust.

"If you tell us what your tribe is doing here, we'll give you this guy. Don't worry, he's pretty strong."

"Deal!"

"!?"

Dust immediately turned tail to run, but Naruto grabbed his collar and threw him into the open arms of the Orcs.

"Hero Candidate my ass! HEEELP!"

"Oh my, this one is strong! Just look at him squirm!"

"Better save some energy for later! There's a lot of us in that cave~!"

The Orcs cooed while licking their now salivating lips, but this only caused Dust to panic even more in his attempts to break free.

"Alright, now tell us!"

Naruto demanded when the Orcs turned to leave with their prize, all while ignoring Dust's cries for help.

"We don't know."

"Yeah, it was more like a feeling, really."

The monsters answered while tilting their heads as they themselves seemed to ponder their motives.

"One day we were hunting for males like usual in the north when we suddenly had the urge to travel south."

"Right? I've had strange cravings for a blonde male too."

The Orcs continued, earning a shriek from their captive. With their piece said, the beasts turned back towards the forest clearing to return to the cave.

A grave feeling was building up in Naruto's gut. He had a vague idea as to why this bunch was here, but he really hoped he was wrong.

"...Yunyun, are you ready to fight? I think you know why, but we can't let these Orcs roam free."

"...Yes, I understand."

Yunyun finally responded and followed Naruto into the clearing and directly into the cave.

"Good luck, darling~!"

Cecily cheered as she stayed behind.

"I can't believe you used me as Orc bait, you bastard! I trusted you! My clothes are in shambles, thanks to you! You owe me a new outfit!"

Dust shouted as he and Naruto entered the Adventurer's Guild.

They made it back to town just as the sun was setting, and the girls decided to go to the bathhouse first for some reason. But Naruto was too nervous of Yunyun's change of character to ask for her reasoning.

After all, who would question a girl who silently killed two dozen Orcs without showing a shred of emotion?

Not Naruto, that's who.

"I'm sorry, Dust. But we needed to get that information to finish the quest, right? Tell you what, you can have a bigger portion of the reward since you played the most important role. How does that sound?"

Naruto bargained just as they reached the receptionist desks.

"Aww, I was just giving you a hard time is all! It's all water under the bridge!"

Dust flipped his script and started rubbing his hands together gleefully. First, he would drink his fill of food and drink. But not too much, because then he was going to pay a visit to the sweet dream ladies at that shop! Now he could afford the Icha Icha Paradise special collab!

Naruto was amused at how easy his former party member was to read. He really was getting the hang of dealing with these problem children, and he had Kazuma to thank for that.

"Hello, Naruto-san. I take it Dust recruited your help for the Orc recon quest?"

Luna greeted the moment the shinobi reached her desk.

"Yeah, but who played the most important role that was vital to the mission's success? That's right, the great Dust-sama! That's who!"

Dust boasted before he chased after the first waitress he could find so he could place his order.

"Sorry, I'll make sure he doesn't go overboard."

Naruto assured as they watched the delinquent adventurer boast to his party members, which quickly turned into a heated argument when the shinobi's name and the word 'carried' were inevitably said.

"Oh, and thank you again for coaching me, Luna-chan. I feel like I really might be able to hold my own in a conversation with a noble because of you!"

"O-oh, yes. Anytime..."

Luna cursed herself for stuttering, but it was hard to maintain character when thinking about that wonderful lunch. It really had been like a dream. One that she would remember for the rest of her days, because surely such an event would never happen again.

After all, she was but a receptionist at an Adventurer's Guild in the town furthest from the royal capital. Naruto was no doubt going to be a Hero Candidate who had a bright future ahead of him in this kingdom.

There was no way a person like that would ever-

"So, when are we going to meet up again?"

Naruto asked with a toothy grin, causing the head receptionist to blink.

"Eh? Oh, umm…"

Luna fumbled with her words, and she could already feel her coworker's amused eyes on her back.

"I-I should have some free time in a couple days…"

"Oh, great!"

Naruto cheered before catching himself and taking the woman's hand in his.

"I look forward to our next endeavor together, Luna-san."

"O-of course…"

Luna replied meekly, her cheeks burning red. Her coworkers were definitely not going to let this one go. Retrieving her hand from the shinobi, the head receptionist regained her professional demeanor. He may have caught her off guard, but she was still on the job.

"So, what did you find out about the Orcs?"

"Oh yeah, sorry. It turns out some tribes are migrating south for whatever reason. I wonder why."

Naruto responded while scratching at his whisker marks awkwardly.

"Naruto-san. Does this perhaps have something to do with your travels to the Crimson Demon Village?"

Luna asked without a hint of change in her expression, causing the boy to flinch.

That's right, Kazuma had told Luna about their victory over Sylvia and had no doubt filled her in on most, if not all of the details.

"...I think the Orcs in the kingdom were influenced by the rise of the Orctron. One of them said they were 'craving a blonde male'... That's why they moved south."

Naruto admitted when he couldn't handle the pleasant look the woman was giving him any longer.

"Understood. The guild will post Orc awareness warnings throughout the town and send out correspondence to the neighboring settlements. Thank you for completing this recon quest, Naruto-san. Here is the reward."

Luna nodded before she placed a bag of coins on the counter, to which Naruto accepted with thanks. She then turned and walked into the back to start working.

Naruto relented a sigh. He really let his guard down… Luna really was scary when she was acting professional, which was almost all of the time.

With the reward money in hand, Naruto made his way over to the table where Dust was currently eating and drinking the night away. Some things never changed with some people.

"Hey, Naruto! You were just flirting with Luna-san, huh!? I'll kick your ass!"

A drunken adventurer called out from across the guild, his buddies cracking their knuckles in agreement.

"Hah!? I'll have you know Luna-chan is helping me out with a super secret mission, so back off!"

Naruto barked and proceeded to have an argument with the rowdy bunch.

It was good to be home.

'Geez… That Cecily! I only agreed to go into the bathhouse with her so I could find out what her true intentions were! But she just wouldn't leave me alone…'

Yunyun moped as she made her way towards Wiz's magic shop. Naruto had probably already turned in the information and received the reward money, and she felt bad about making him hold onto her share. But there were important matters to be discussed!

'Something clearly happened between Naruto and Cecily… Something that he didn't want to immediately share with me for some reason.'

Was it because Naruto didn't want her to find out and tell Wiz? Did he know about Wiz's true feelings!?

'Then that would mean he really was awake during that night in my bedroom!'

If that were really true, then she might have no other choice but to crawl into a hole and never come out.

Shaking her head, Yunyun considered it a possibility for now but didn't dwell on it for her own sake. The only other thing that made sense was that Naruto was just simply shy about such things, which made sense considering the conversations they'd had during the bet with Aqua that one time.

'I have to do something! I feel like those two are so close and just need a little push at this point!'

Yunyun thought with a determined look growing on her face when she noticed a flash of silver in the corner of her eye. She looked up to see a girl standing on the rooftops and appeared to be observing a certain shop.

Wiz's magic shop.

Yunyun quickly concealed her mana and crept into a nearby alleyway before poking her head out just enough to look at the strange person. What were they doing here, and why were they looking at Wiz's shop?

Daring to move closer, the Crimson Demon stopped when she made out a few whispers on the rooftop.

"I didn't even know there was a magic shop here… Is this really the place that sold that item?"

What item were they talking about? Did they want to buy something? Then why were they sneaking around on the rooftops?

Now that Yunyun got a better look, she recognized the silver haired girl. It was Chris, the Thief that was friends with Darkness… and also the girl that offered to be Naruto's girlfriend during the bet with Aqua.

Is she doing research to steal from Wiz's shop!? No… Naruto mentioned Chris was a good person.

"Ah, it's about that time. I better go meet up with Naruto-san."

Chris muttered before she disappeared into the night.

. . .

'I have to speak with Wiz, and fast! The potential threats just increased by one more!'

Yunyun thought with saucers for eyes as she bolted out from the alleyway towards the magic shop.

A/N: Next time, we finally get to see what Chris wanted with Naruto! But that begs the question… Why was she investigating Wiz's shop?

Leave a review and let me know what you all think!

Spirit out!
