Hey all. Tai Here. AF's kinda busy at the moment so I'm gonna be starting this chapter until he gets back. Now, I'm still trying to get back into my writing game, so if I come off a bit rusty, I'm sorry.
Ash stirred and shook in his sleep, groaning from the aching pain in his head. He tried to rub his face to nurse the headache, but he found his hand unable to move. He tried to move his hands while his eyes were still closed but found them restrained by something.
Then he started to hear some muffled voices he couldn't make out. Almost every word was a blur from the ringing in his ears. He then felt like he wasn't touching anything, but rather was in mid-air much more to his confusion.
"Just turn it on, Vox."
"I tried already."
"Have you tried that button in the middle?"
"Of course, I've fucking tried that button. I'm hitting it right now, holding it down… see? Nothing."
"Shit's probably dead, then."
He was starting to wonder what was going on. Who were these people around him that were talking? What were they talking about? What did they want with him?
"Vox, can't you just charge it or something?"
"I can't just charge it… wha-It doesn't even have a port! Or even a back to fucking unscrew."
Wait, Vox… where has he heard that… it all started returning to him. The last thing he remembered was talking to the TV-headed Overlord before…
"Take a nice long nap-"
With that, his eyes shot open and he looked around frantically. He found himself not at the hotel, but rather in a pitch-black dark room, the only light was the one shining down on him.
"Oh, shit. He's up." One voice says while clearing their throat. "Get yourselves in place."
Ash looked up and around the room for the voice's owner, then attempted to move his arm only to find himself restrained and forced back into place again. He looked down his arm and saw that his hand was in some kind of floating and wide metal cuff that had a blue field around his wrist. Worried he checked his other wrist and ankles and they had the same thing around them.
"Good morning. Or I guess, good evening for you." He heard before looking in front of him.
He spotted three sets of red eyes in the darkness, a powerful presence emitting from each of the three. The eyes in the middle approached, footsteps echoing in the room before the demon appeared in the light, his screen lightening up before he smiled.
"You…" Ash says.
"That's right." Vox says all smiley.
"What are you doing? Why are you doing this?"
" Oh, my fuck-Do you have amnesia or some shit?" Vox says in annoyance. "I told you earlier that I can't have you being around Alastor!"
"So you thought kidnapping me was the solution? Are you so petty that you have to do this because I'm friendly with Alastor?"
"I'm not gonna explain the same fucking song and dance to you every time. It ain't even just Alastor at this point. If another Overlord were to find out what you're capable of, that makes you an even bigger liability to any of those who are unlucky enough not to have you on their side."
"WHAT!? What are you talking about!?" Ash screamed, more confused and freaking out.
"No need to get so brash, giovane." He rose a brow before looking in the direction of the voice, seeing an even taller demon dressed as a pimp with four arms walk into view. "We just need you to simply shut up and listen."
"Exactly." He then suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder before looking back. "You know, you have much more potential than you let on."
"You." He says while furrowing his brow.
"Oh, so you remember me." Velvette chuckles before she moves in front of him. "Good. Maybe this time you'll know your place."
"What exactly do you think I'm capable of? I'm a human. There's nothing special about that."
"Hmm… okay. Maybe this'll jog your memory." Vox says before a dim light lit the room.
Next thing he knew, screens emerged from the ceiling and then started up. It started to show the night when he was helping Angel and Husk fend off demons that were attacking them, seeing the fight from different angles as the boy was shown to be using his aura against them.
Seeing this, Ash's mouth opened slightly as his eyes widened before sweat formed on his forehead. He started wondering how they got that footage, or if there were cameras, and how he hadn't noticed them earlier.
"You see that? A normal mortal couldn't do something like that." The pimp demon says.
"That…" The boy stuttered before shaking his head. "T-that means nothing. That guy may look like me, but you can't prove that is me."
"Can't I?" Vox asks with a raised brow.
The screens then changed to show some point in time when he put on the mask, activating his disguise. Then a time when he took it off, deactivating it.
"H-how long have you been watching me for?" Ash says.
"Well, at first I was just gonna watch little Miss Morningstar after figuring out that smiling freak was with her, but when I saw all the shit you did, I knew you'd need to be under surveillance." Vox explains.
Hearing that, the boy started to look mad. What else had these guys seen without his knowledge? What were they planning to do?
"It's not just that." The screens then changed to show different footage of his Pokemon. "There's also these weird creatures you keep around that just listen to you no matter what."
"I've gotta say, you've got quite the variety of pets. From the big and bad to the small and wimpy, to the… fresh and meaty." The taller demon said before with a filthy look which made the boy uncomfortable.
"Yeah, how the fuck do you have all these things just following your every command without question?" Velvette says while taking some pictures of the Pokemon. "Are they under some slave contract with you?"
"They're not my slaves, they're my friends. When I tell them to do something, they do it out of free will." Ash tells her.
"Oh, yeah, sure. The fucking 'power of friendship' or whatever."
"It's just trust! We trust each other. Something you three could learn a thing or two about."
"Ya know what, forget it. I don't really care about this whole, friendship shit or whatever. What I'm more inclined to know of is…" Vox says before taking out the Arc Phone. "What this may be to you."
Ash stared at the phone, his brow remaining furrowed. He should've expected that they would probably be after his phone next.
(At the hotel)
Everyone except Alastor was sitting at the parlor as Charlie and Vaggie were standing in front of them. The girls were looking around worried, the blonde being a little more fidgety as she gripped the paper hard enough to crumple it. The Pokemon were starting to look concerned as they looked around as well.
"Ugh… can we just start the things without him? It's been a fucking hour already." Angel groaned in annoyance.
"He'll be down. I'm sure of it… he's… probably just getting out of the shower or something… let's wait just a little longer." Charlie tells them.
"Yeah, he just… needs some time to himself, you know." Vaggie says, trying to back her up.
"Ya know what, I can't do this." Husk says as he gets up and starts on his way to the bar.
"Wait, wait! Please! We haven't done activities in a few days now." Charlie begged.
"And whose fault is that? Not my fault you wanted to pretty your asses up for your boyfriend instead running the hotel."
"He does kinda have ya there." Angel tells her.
"It was one fucking date!" Vaggie yelled.
"After you got down and dirty with him… twice. Just sayin'."
"Okay, just… uh…" Charlie tried to say before seeing the Radio Demon walk in. "Alastor! Have you seen Ash anywhere?"
"The boy? Hmm? No, I can't seem to recall seeing him this morning." Alastor says.
Charlie sighed, disappointed. Then she felt a tug on her pants and looked down, seeing the yellow mouse Pokemon who looked the most concerned.
"Oh, it's okay, Pikachu. I'm sure he's alright." Charlie says while picking him up and hugging him. "Ya know what, let's go check on him."
"Good idea. He is taking way too long." Vaggie says as they head for the stairs.
"Ya know, I'm convinced he's jerking himself off up there… If he figured out what it meant by now." Angel says to Pentious.
(Sometime later)
"Ash!?" Charlie called as they entered their bedroom.
"Ash, come on! It's past breakfast by now!" Vaggie called, getting nothing. "Nothing, where did he go?"
"Having trouble here?" Alastor asked while appearing.
"Not right now, Alastor. We don't have time for this." Vaggie says.
"Well, you're not having much luck."
"You're not helping."
"Fine, but… where was the last place you saw him?"
"Well, the last place we saw him was at the balcony… wait." Charlie says before realization starts to kick in.
Without another word, she rushed out of the room and ran upstairs as fast as she could. She found her way to the balcony and looked around frantically, but then stopped when she noticed something on the floor.
"No… no…" She says as she knelt. "No, no, no, no…" She says before picking up his hat.
"Charlie, is he up here? Is…" Vaggie slowly stopped as she saw the hat. "Oh no."
(VVV Tower)
"What? Not gonna tell us what this can do?" Vox says while waving the phone in the boy's face. "No? Nothing?"
"Waving it around is not gonna get it to do anything." Ash says with a bit of snark.
"I know it won't do anything, dumbass. How does it work? I've been trying to turn this damn thing on since I brought you in. I've tried opening the damn thing up and-"
"You're not gonna get it to work. It's dead."
"Well, tell me how the fuck you charge it then? A charging pad or something?"
"It doesn't need a charge. It just…"
"What?"
"Look, I don't know how it works, okay. It malfunctioned about a week ago and hasn't turned on since then."
"So, it's a fucking brick then?" Velvette asked.
"To put it simply, yes."
"Look, kid…" Vox says as he walks up to the boy and grabs him by the hair. "I am really starting to lose my patience right now. I am not above resulting drastic measures. So maybe you should start talking or perhaps your pets will have to answer for you."
Ash jolted forward with a fist, causing the demon to jump back as the boy's fist was pulled back into place before he could throw a punch. He then shook about.
"You touch my Pokemon and-!" He shouts.
"And what!?" Vox says before activating his hypnotic eye.
Ash grunted as the swirls filled his sight before he reeled back and shook his head, blinking several times. He suddenly felt fatigued and the rage subsided, but his anger still showed itself.
"Yeah, word to the wise, know when you're beat, kid. You may be this powerful human or whatever you are…" He then leaned forward. "But we're just better."
All the boy could do was scowl at the demon staring at him smugly. His brow couldn't furrow any harder than it already was as a small blue glint appeared in his eyes, the screens in the back slightly glitching. Then a sudden buzz rang out through the room.
"Hey, Sir Vox?"
Vox then stood up and pressed a button on the side of his face. "Yes, I'm here. What is it?"
"Uh, there's a bit of a software bug down on the second floor."
"Wha… what the fuck do you mean a bug? Those systems shouldn't have a bug." The demon asks in annoyance.
"I don't know, it's… it's not just the computers. Someone's phone has been affected too."
"Ugh… I'll be down in a minute." Vox says before a hang-up sound plays. "Alright, you're lucky, kid. I have something to take care of downstairs." He says before he turns around and walks up to the other two demons. "Do whatever you want with him as long as you get him squawking at the very least." He whispers before handing the phone to Velvette. "Also be careful with him. Remember the backup in case he manages to escape that thing." He then goes to one of the cameras and travels into it.
Seeing this, Ash tried to shake himself free again to no avail. The two demons looked at each other and shrugged before the female Vee pocketed the phone.
(Hotel)
"ASH! Where are you!" Charlie shouted in the hall on the third floor.
"Well, he ain't in here." Angel says while walking out of the room with Fat Nuggets.
"Storage room is clear of the human." Pentious says after leaving the said room with Snivy and Sceptile.
"No luck in here." Husk says as he leaves another room with Charizard, Oshawott, and Pikachu in tow.
"Room seven is clear." Niffty says after busting her head through the door of the room.
"GIBLE!" Gible says as he busted through below her.
"Ugh, this is hopeless. Where is he!?" Vaggie says, starting to freak out.
"Are we even sure he's in the hotel at this point?" Angel says.
"He wouldn't have left. Maybe… I don't know. He's planning a surprise for us or something?" Charlie says desperately.
"I have come with good news." Alastor says as he appears in the room.
"Alastor! Oh good! Did you find Ash!?" The blonde asked with hope.
"Well, yes, the good news is I might have an idea of his whereabouts." He tells her as she looks relieved. "The bad news is… it may not be the best place." He then presented a blue device to them.
"Wha… a camera?" Charlie says while taking it.
"But I thought we didn't have security cameras." Pentious says.
Angel then took another look before his eyes filled with dread. "That… that's not a security camera."
They looked confused before the blonde turned the device up and saw the Voxtek logo on the bottom. Afterward, silence filled the room. Vaggie put a hand over her mouth as she continued to stare at the device.
Charlie stared in horror as she started to realize what it had meant. As she had, her breathing slowly started becoming rapid as her face started to turn into fury, her eyes changing, her hair flaring up, her horns emerging as she gripped the technology tighter. She then let out a righteous scream as she tore the camera apart.
(VVV Tower)
"Well, now that it's just us." The taller demon says.
"I meant what I was saying about you guys touching my Pokemon." Ash threatens them.
"Easy now, giovane. We're not as rough or angry as Vox." The tall demon says before he approaches the boy.
"Yeah, you're not wrong. Vox gets pretty pissy when it comes to the strawberry pimp." Velvette also says.
"Yeah, I figured. So what? You think I'm gonna tell you anything?"
"Again, calm down little one. We might be able to come to a little compromise." The tall demon says as one of his lower hands makes a gesture to the shorter Vee.
"What are you playing at exactly?"
"I'm glad-" The demon says before walking up to him, grabbing his arm. "You asked."
Then without prompt, he stuck his tongue through his sharp teeth and dragged it up his arm from his wrist to his shoulder, leaving a trail of sticky purple sap. Ash was shocked and disgusted by the fact that this freak just up and licked him in such a way.
"Mmm, such a fine specimen you are. ~" He says before leaning his face close to his.
Ash was even more uncomfortable and disgusted as he reeled back. Then he was blindsided when he felt another hand grab his bicep and start rubbing it.
"Hmm, not wrong there." She says while feeling his muscles through his flesh. "You're not scrawny like I thought you'd be. ~" She then says in a seductive tone.
He reeled away from her as well. He couldn't believe this woman had the gall to try seducing him after the way she treated him when they first met. After the stunt she tried to pull, no way would he fall for anything she would try now.
"You know, I can make you a star, boy." Valentino says while dragging his fingers up his arm, slathering the purple sap, the smell reaching the boy's nostrils as he stepped behind him and caressed his chin. "With your body and your experience in… passionate fornication with those girls will make us both rich, successful, and maybe more than her papito."
"Wait… wait you saw us doing-?" Ash was about to say.
"Indeed. You really know how to fuck." He continued to say which made the human more annoyed before he felt hands under his shirt.
"Besides, there're a lot more sluts out there that are better with fucking than those two skanks. ~" Velvette says before pressing her cheek against his. "A lot more experienced too."
Ash reeled his face away in disgust again. "Don't call them that!"
"Or what? You think that little bimbo princess is bett-"
After that, Ash flailed, causing the two to step back from him. "OI!" The tall demon says in surprise.
"Shut up!" The boy shouted before he was wrenched back into place by the cuffs.
"Oooh, feisty. People like that. ~" The taller demon chuckled before stepping close again. "You'd be quite the famous one."
"We'll simply start by fixing that outfit choice." Velvette says before showing her hand which sparkles. "I can make you something much more presentable."
"You wouldn't happen to be into latex, would you?"
"No, I was thinking of something more simple."
"Oh, you have no taste."
"Sit on a dick, Val." Velvette says as the boy perks up from the name.
"Latex can be simple too you know."
"Wait… Val… as in…" Ash's eyes then widened before looking back at the taller demon. "You're Valentino? You're Angel's boss?"
"Oh, finally some recognition." Valentino says proudly. "It's not often that a human recognizes your magnificent work."
"Magnificent? MAGNIFICENT!? Your work is nothing but disgusting!" The boy yelled in fury. "The way you treated Angel, the way you made Charlie cry…"
"I wasn't the one who made that little bitch cry, Angel was the one who did it. Serves her right though-" Val continues as Ash's eyes start to turn blue and the screens show slight static and glitching. "After messing up my studio, I had to run my work overnight. She had to learn the fucking hard way that the real world doesn't bow to her and that I can do whatever I want with whatever and WHOEVER I own."
Hearing that, Ash then pulled his limbs in before extending them, releasing a small wave of energy, destroying the cuff. The demons jumped back in shock before he landed, and then death glared at them in fury. A small beeping noise rang as a blue barrier quickly enveloped his half of the room, causing him to slam face-first into it.
"Oh, thank fuck. That could've been-" Val says before jumping back after Ash slammed his fist into the barrier, causing the room to shake and the screens to glitch for a second.
"I'M NOT GONNA BE YOUR TOY AND I'M NOT GONNA SIT BY AS YOU TORMENT MY FRIENDS!" He shouted in rage.
"Okay, easy, kid. No need to lose your temper."
"Don't call me kid!"
"What do you want us to fucking call you then?" Velvette tells him. "Honestly, you make it seem-" She jumped as he pounded a fist against the barrier again. "Shit."
He kept a death glare on both of them, gripping the barrier with his fingertips as he seethed with rage. He never wanted to hurt anyone more than the demon in that very room.
(Hotel)
"Charlie, hold on!" Angel says as the princess walks down the hall, leaving burnt footsteps behind. "Charlie, please wait!"
"NO!" Charlie screamed at him as they stopped in the middle of the hallway. "I'm not gonna fucking wait! Not while those shitheads have him and are doing who knows what." She says as he holds his hands up in defense.
She then felt a hand on her shoulder, looked back, and saw Vaggie. She slightly calmed down but was in disbelief as she was afraid of what she would say.
"I'm not gonna tell you not to. Especially not now." She says while taking out her holy spear. "Let's go get him back." She finished as the blonde nodded.
"Charlie, this isn't just Val we're talking about. It's Velvette and it's Vox-Especially Vox. All three Vees in one place!" Angel continued to protest.
"Angel… I already failed to save someone from them. I'm not gonna let that happen… especially not to him." Charlie tells him.
The spider demon backed off, looking shocked, and unable to argue. Then he heard a growl with heavy footsteps, seeing Charizard go up to them before roaring with pride and anger. Pikachu popped up on his shoulder, looking angry and determined to save his trainer.
Charlie walked up to the two and put her hands on their heads as they accepted it, then Razzle and Dazzle appeared at her side. "Let's get your trainer back."
And with that, she started to march towards the door with her team behind her, summoning a pitchfork in her hand while her tail took form as well. Once outside, she hopped onto Charizard's back, Vaggie getting behind her while Razzle and Dazzle clung to their owner's shoulders before they took off.
"Wait no! Come back, Gible!" Niffty called, seeing the aforementioned Pokemon hanging off the dragon's tail
Angel watched, seeing them disappear into the distance, still looking worried as he stepped back into the hotel.
"Oh god, this is gonna be bad." He says to himself.
"It's the princess of Hell. Pretty sure she can handle herself." Husk says before looking out the door. "Then again, never seen her this… angry."
Sceptile looked out as well, tightening his fists in anger. He heard a sputter beside him and turned to see Taurous and Snivy on its back, both of which were also itching to battle. They gave each other a small nod as if understanding before the leafy Pokemon hopped onto the bull.
Oshawott saw and hopped off Husk's shoulder. "Wait, you're going with them?" He says in disbelief.
"Osha! Oshawott!" He tells the cat.
"... Uh… w-well… Whatever, I don't care." Husk says as the otter looks dejected, but still goes to his fellow Pokemon.
Sceptile let his tail down, scooping up the smaller Pokemon onto the bull's back before they took off.
"Be careful! Don't get hurt!" Pentious called after them before slithering back in. "Oh, they're gonna get hurt."
Alastor watched it all happen, his eerie smile became all the more scary before he faded into the shadows. The last thing seen of him was his eyes before he disappeared to who knows where.
(VVV Tower)
"How long is this thing supposed to hold for?" Velvette asks.
"Well, Vox has saved up a lot of energy to get this thing working just for this boy. At most he said this thing has… I don't know about a year's worth of energy. So, I figure it'll be a while before he gets out." Valentino says before looking at the boy. "Hmm, seems he's finally calmed down."
"Good. Least I don't have to hear him nag his shit."
Ash didn't react to their insults, only glaring at them stone-faced, eyes glowing blue with his gripping the barrier. He was thinking of how he could get out of there. This barrier possibly wasn't gonna last forever, not against him.
As he was calculating, he looked at his hands, seeing it was not only his fingers touching the barrier but also something else. The energy around his fingertips was wavering a small bit. He waited until the demons looked away to talk about something he didn't care for, then looked back at his fingers and focused… feeling the energy of the barrier.
He fought with himself to not smile at that moment and not give himself away before he heard a small and quick alarm and his eyes darted in the direction of the screen. It showed Charlie, Vaggie, Pikachu, Razzle, and Dazzle on Charizard, causing his eyes to widen slightly.
"Huh? Oh, look at that. They found out." Valentino says as he walks closer to the screen.
"That was fast." Velvette says.
Acting quickly, Ash flattened his palms against the barrier and started focusing, absorbing the energy with his aura as he grit his teeth. The amount was starting to take a toll on him already, but he kept going.
"Well, looks like our towers are getting dressed again." Velvette says in annoyance.
"Not this time." Valentino says before pressing a button and the screens show turrets emerging from next to the tower. "Vox made sure to have some defenses built in this time. The moment they get in range, it's gonna be raining corpses."
"Heh, that'll be fun." Velvette chuckles before hearing groaning behind her. "Oh get a grip, little shit." She then goes on her phone.
"Sorry, kid." Valentino says tauntingly before the younger Vee notices her phone bugging out. "Looks like your girlfriends are gonna-" He stopped when he saw the screens start to glitch and tapped them in puzzlement before the lights started flickering. "What the…"
"I told you…" Ash says before Velvette ducked for cover. "Not to CALL ME THAT!"
He then thrusts his hands forward, sending a blast in Valentino's direction, hitting him before he could react. Downstairs, they all heard a boom as the building shook and the lights started flickering. Outside the lights on the tower started blinking before the turrets malfunctioned and exploded and the lights went out.
" What the fuck!? What was that!?" Vox yelled in the dark before the lights flickered back on.
"Uh, seems like a blackout?" One of his assistants nervously says before seeing his monitor saying error.
"For the love… reboot the computers. I swear, I am gonna-" The overlord starts to say before they hear another boom from below.
He looks at the cameras and sees Charlie with Vaggie and the Pokemon entering on the floor under them. He growled in annoyance before going into the cameras.
(With Ash)
Velvette coughed from all the dust in the air as rubble fell around her. She saw her phone was on the ground, frantically picking it up and checking. Sighing in relief before checking herself in the camera, then scoffing.
"Asshole ruined my hair-" She was saying before a heavy stomp frightened her.
Her eyes darted to the ground in front of her, seeing the boy's shoes before going up, slowly making contact with his glowing blue eyes. He towered over her, still angry and ready to go off at any moment. She froze in fear before he extended a hand.
She thought it was to help her up so she reached for it before he slapped it away, then tried again. She then got what he meant and sighed before pulling out the Arc Phone and handing it to him. The moment it was in his hand, the screen lit up. He stared at it for a second before pocketing it and started his way to the door.
Valentino groaned as he rose from the fallen and cracked screens, rubbing his head in pain. Ash stopped in front of him and stared… narrowing his eyes. He started to grin nervously as if that would help. It didn't. In an instant, the boy kicked him in the face once, making him groan in pain before he kicked the side of his face, then rose his foot up high before stomping his face in, knocking the Overlord out.
He wanted to do more, wanted to hurt him as much as he did his friend, but he remembered that his friends were there and were probably gonna need his help so he had to settle for the bloodied face of the pimp demon who had lost at least two of his teeth from the kicks. He went over to the door and practically ripped it off the hinges before going through.
Now free, Ash took out his mask and placed it on, his disguise activating, however, his blue eyes penetrated the disguise as he walked down the hall, leaving Velvette frightened in her place.
(With Charlie and the others)
After destroying part of the wall, Charlie hopped off of the dragon, demons running in fear from them. One tripped on oxygen, attempting to crawl to safety before Pikachu cut him off, electricity emitting from his cheeks. He tried to crawl back before Vaggie stopped him with her spear to his neck.
"You're gonna stay right where you are or I will slit your throat." She threatened.
"I'm just doing my job! I swear!" The demon pleaded.
"Then tell us where your boss is." Charlie demanded while presenting her pitchfork.
"H-he's… he's on one of the upper floors! I don't know which one."
"Ladies, ladies…" They turn to see the TV demon walk into the room. "Calm down now. Let's not do anything rash."
" You!" Charlie hissed before pointing her pitchfork at him. "Where is he?"
"Where is who?" Vox asks with a smile.
"You know who we're talking about." Vaggie tells him while also pointing her spear at him as the demon runs away.
" I don't believe I follow." He chuckles much to their annoyance. "Who is the 'he' we're talking about here?"
"Do not test us, tu pedazo de mierda. You know who."
"Heh, well if you don't give me a name I can't really-" Vox started to say before Gible jumped at him.
However just before he could comp his head again, a spherical container shot out from the ceiling, catching the little shark and trapping him in it as he crashed to the ground by the other's feet.
"Gible!" Charlie says before trying to open the prison.
"You really think I wouldn't be prepared to deal with any of you fuckers coming here? I mean come on, who do you take me for exactly?"
"PIKACHU!" Pikachu fired his thunderbolt.
Vox quickly jumped out of the way as the blast destroyed the other side of the tower. He growled in annoyance while observing the damage, seemingly not noticing Charizard stomping over with fire charging in his mouth.
"Just a little tip. If you're looking to attack someone-" He says as the dragon is ready to attack. "Always be three steps ahead!"
He then whirled around, activating his hypno eye as Charizard reeled back before roaring as he clutched his head, stumbling back.
"Oh shit." Vaggie says.
"Charizard!" Charlie says while running up to him. "Charizard, are you okay!? Say something!"
"Charlie get away from him!"
The blonde looked at her girlfriend confused before she heard a snarling and looked back. Charizard growled as he turned to look at her, his eyes filled with red and black spirals. Her eyes widened before she quickly jumped back as he attempted to slash at her.
The group then looked mortified as they watched the dragon fully turn to face them while growling like an animal.
"Sorry, sweetheart…" Vox says while putting a hand on the dragon's shoulder. "Your little friend here belongs to the Vees." He says before he releases a breath of fire before Razzle and Dazzle fly forward to block the attack.
(With Ash)
After marching through the halls, he busted into one of the rooms, walking for a second before stopping in the middle of a gang of demons. They stared for a moment, then took out their guns and immediately started firing at him.
He just stood there, the bullets all flying off his body without him even flinching. At this point, he didn't even care to dodge any of them. The gunshots eventually stopped, replaced with the sounds of clicking and bullets falling to the floor. The demons all then looked scared. One started to whistle as he attempted to walk away before Ash grabbed him by the throat.
Outside, glass shattered on the top floor of the tower, and screams of terror soon followed as demons were being sent flying out of the building. One of the buff shark demons crashed into a food cart on the ground before groaning in pain.
"NO! My cab-!" An old imp started to yell before the shark glared at him. "Oh forget it!" He says while walking away, tossing one of the cabbages back.
Up in the tower, Ash was seen with his fist forward before pulling back. One of the remaining demons frantically tries to unlock the door to one of the rooms and just as he opens the door, the boy is behind him in an instant, grabbing him by the horns and hosting him up.
"Where is Vox?" He demanded.
"I don't know nothing!" The demon started to say before he suddenly was rushed to the broken window and held over the edge.
"Don't test me."
"DOWNSTAIRS! FIRST FLOOR!"
"Thanks." He then slammed the demon on the floor, knocking him out cold.
He then started to head for the door to the hallway but stopped when he noticed the door to the room that the demon was trying to escape into. It had to be important or something, right? He went over to the door and opened it, leading into a room that had a small container in it. The container in question was hooked up to some kind of machine.
He raised a brow, wondering just what it was before he heard an explosion outside, and ran to the edge of the broken window covering his face as a gust of wind nearly threw him off his feet. He then heard a familiar roar and looked outside, seeing his Pokemon Charizard flying around, shooting fire at two big red dragons with horns.
At first, he thought that maybe the dragons belonged to the Vees, but then he noticed something about them. He took off his mask, deactivating his disguise before looking again as one of the dragons tried to shoot fire at his Pokemon before he dodged and tackled it, sending it crashing into a nearby building. The other tried to attack only to be hit with the move 'Dragon Tail'.
He squinted his eyes as he looked at the dragons. Then he realized the similarities. The horns, the tails, the fluff at their necks.
"Is that… Razzle and Dazzle?"
(With Charlie)
The girls and the electric mouse watched in horror as the dragons were trying to fend off the other dragon.
"Now, isn't this just entertaining?" Vox says as they all glare at him. "You don't see this every day. Hehe, that dragon's pretty tough, huh?"
"You bastard!" Charlie says while charging at him and swinging her pitchfork, missing as he jumps back. "Let him go!"
Pikachu then jumped out and tried to attack using Iron Tail which the TV head dodged several times, even Vaggie's attempted attack before chuckling as he teleported into a nearby monitor.
"You whores just don't seem to get it." Vox says as his face appears on a nearby monitor that Vaggie stabbed after. "I run this entire place." He appeared on another monitor before Pikachu blasted it. "You can't stop me." He appeared on another monitor before Charlie destroyed it.
While in the room, Charizard knocked Razzle down before Dazzle snuck up on him, blasting him with a large strong wave of fire that went across the entirety of Pentagram City. He was giving it all he had, trying to make some kind of progress, however, it was all in vain as a silhouette flew through the flames before Charizard popped his head out and blasted the dragon with a Flamethrower.
The attack hit the ground causing a small explosion that caught the others' attention. Razzle tried to attack Charizard, only for the Pokemon to dodge the attack and grab ahold of him, then despite being much smaller, he was able to soar into the air without trouble, spinning around the Pentagram in the air before diving downwards, throwing him into the ground.
The others covered their head before looking out, eyes widened in fear as the dust settled, seeing Razzle bruised and lying in a crater while Dazzle lay on the charred concrete, covered in burn marks, all breathing heavily each second. The brainwashed Charizard then landed in the middle before eyeing the still-standing group.
"No…" Charlie says while covering her mouth.
"Oh yes." Vox's voice rang through the speakers.
Slowly the dragon started to approach them like an animal locking onto prey, ready to attack before Tauros crashed into him and sent him rolling across the ground. Sceptile hopped off and then prepared himself to fight. The dragon recovered quickly before roaring and charging at the other Pokemon.
The smaller Pokemon jumped off Tauros before he and Sceptile clashed with their fellow Pokemon. The others then heard a familiar sound, looking up and seeing helicopters with the 'Channel 666 News' logo on them.
"Ooh, looks like we've got an extended show." Vox says mockingly as Charlie destroys the monitor he is in, only for him to laugh as he appears in multiple monitors on the wall, a bit of him in each one. "What? Don't wanna see what they're talking about?"
He then raised his hand and the monitor above it changed, showing the news channel coming on.
"Breaking news in Hell today!" Katie says as she appears with her cohost. "Ladies and gentlefucks, we have a juicy story for you tonight."
"Bringing you live, there appears to be a fight breaking out in front of the tower owned by the infamous Vee Overlords." The screen then showed the battle between the Pokemon. "It appears we have some new faces here in Hell-"
"Shit, shit, shit…" Vaggie says before looking out at the helicopter. "He planned this."
"Well, actually I didn't plan for this, but ya know, it's pretty entertaining don't you think." Vox says before cackling into the night as they all look worried.
(With Ash)
Having already seen Charizard defeat the dragons without a scratch, he was now watching as his other Pokemon had come to fight. Tauros used Horn Attack at first before the dragon used Skull Bash, knocking him back before Pikachu jumped in, using Volt Tackle, which knocked the dragon back before Sceptile jumped in and used Leaf Tornado.
Ash watched the fight, dread overlapping his face and not understanding why his Pokemon were fighting each other, why one of them attacked their friends just now. What was going on?
"Are you just gonna sit there and do nothing?"
He jumped before looking around for the source of the voice, not seeing anyone around. "Hello!" He called.
"Are you just gonna watch as they control your friends?"
"Wha… Alastor?" He called again, only seeing he was still on his own.
"Don't you think you should perhaps… deal with this problem permanently?"
"What… What are you saying? Where are you?"
He continued looking around, but he still couldn't see anyone in sight. But he knew someone was there, he could feel their presence behind him, yet every time he looked back there was nothing.
"Oh come now…" The voice continued as the eyeholes in the mask he held started to glow a dark red. "You went on and on about how you weren't gonna let them torment your friends, yet here you are, just standing by and watching them do so. If you let this go on even further, well… hehe, you know he'll do more harm than good."
"No… no Charizard wouldn't." Ash says as he steps back.
"Do you think so? What if they do the same to those other Pokemon? What will you do then?"
His vision was then filled with horrible sights. Charizard mauling Razzle and Dazzle… Tauros ramming his horns through Sceptile… and Pikachu… firing a thunderbolt through Charlie. He yelled before grabbing his head and flailing about.
"Are you willing to let such a thing happen?"
He stumbled before nearly tripping over the damaged floor while clutching his head.
"It's not real… it's not real-That's not happening!" He yelled to himself.
"It's not happening now, but it will at some point if you refuse to do anything."
He tried to ignore the voice before he looked back into the room with the container.
"And what about this? Do you plan to sit by and let your mouse friend possibly suffer through that machine?" The voice says as he looks confused. "Take another look at that machine."
Ash didn't understand until he looked back at the machine as said. Nothing seemed off about it at first, but then he noticed something in the corner of the room. Opening the door wider and letting the light in, he saw there was a shape carved into a square frame on one end of the container. He squinted his eyes as he looked closer.
The shape looked odd. A circle with two pointed tips sticking out from the top. At first, he didn't recognize it, but… then his eyes widened when he noticed the shape.
'Pikachu…'
Visions then filled his sight of his little buddy in the container, screeching in pain as his electricity was being siphoned from the poor Pokemon.
"See? They don't just plan to stop there." The voice came back as he felt it closer to his ear.
As he stared at this mechanism, his body started to glow as the light in his eyes became brighter. He started to twitch, dropping the mask as the red eyes turned into that of the Radio Demons before turning into red dust that soon started to envelop him.
"So, what do you think? Why should you grant them mercy?" His hands clenched into fists. "Stop holding back…" He felt hands grip his shoulders. "Show them what you're capable of."
The machine then started to shake, the glass container cracking… then just like that… it exploded.
(Down in the fight)
Pikachu howled in pain as he was sent crashing into the rubble with Tauros also knocked down. Sceptile tried to attack with Leaf Blade before the dragon Pokemon hit him with a Flamethrower that launched him back, crashing into Razzle.
"Charizard! Snap out of it! Don't let him control you!" Charlie called out.
It was in vain as the now bruised dragon Pokemon slowly approached the others ready to finish them off. Seeing this, Vaggie drew her spear, not wanting to, but afraid of what will happen.
Just as Charizard was about to fire another Flamethrower, he suddenly got attacked by Gible who chomped on his knock, causing him to flail before stumbling back, roaring in pain. He was then intercepted by Snivy's Vine Whip restraining him in place. Then Oshawott jumped in, firing Hydro Pump at the dragon.
He roared in pain, still flailing about before slowly falling to the ground and lying there once the attack was over. Pikachu ran up to him, hoping for his safety, and worried sick. The dragon looked at him, blinking a few times before looking at the mouse Pokemon, his eyes back to normal. Flames emitted next to them before Razzle and Dazzle still injured went over to the dragon. Charizard looked at them and let out a sad growl before rubbing against them and they smiled… weakly, but they smiled.
"He's back. He's back!" Charlie says happily as Vaggie sighs in relief.
"Oh, look at this. We are currently receiving a call from Voxtek Industries." Their smiles dropped before they looked back at the screens. "Welcome to the show, Vox sir." Katie says as a fake crowd cheered when the Overlord appeared on TV in a rectangle.
"Thank you, thank you. It's good to be here tonight." Vox says proudly.
"Can you give us some insight on what is going on here? Who are these devious freakshows that were just brawling in front of your tower not long ago."
"Why yes I can. You see, what you were currently witnessing at the moment is a terrorist attack."
"A terrorist attack?" Katie says as the fake crowd gasps. "You don't say. Would this happen to be related to the attack that occurred just barely a month ago?"
"It does, and I have found the culprit for such a thing."
"No…" Charlie says with wide eyes.
"The ones who have attacked is none other than 'the' Cha-"
"VOX!" Valentino yelled as he burst through the door, limping and over Velvette's shoulder. "Vox-GH, fuck!"
"Val? What the fuck happened to you?" Vox says from the TV.
"That fucking human happened! What do you think!?" Velvette tells him.
"Sir, what is all that noise back there?" Katie asked.
"Ahaha, nothing, just a little bit of a technically diff-AGH!" Vox then screamed in pain as the screens all glitched and he began to freak out. "What the fu-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-"
Then a crash came from the ceiling, crashing into the floor, causing dust to fly up. Much to the shock of everyone there. Vox seemed to recover, still glitching a bit, but able to keep himself in form as the news had disappeared from the screen.
Before he could react, whatever came through the ceiling suddenly dashed out of the smoke, reaching through one screen, grabbing the TV head by the collar, and then ripping him right out of the digital world, throwing him across the floor, leaving the other Vees and the girls shocked.
"Ugh, you have got to be fucking kidding!" Vox says as he gets on his knees. "Why can't I catch a-"
Before he could finish, he was cut off by a fist driving itself into his face right in his left eye, his screen cracking before he was sent flying out of the tower and crashing into the street past the Pokemon. The girls were even more shocked, especially when they saw who did it before jumping out of the tower.
"Agh… ow, fuck…" Vox groaned in pain as he rolled onto his back, his face completely spiderweb-cracked and glitching before looking up and then looking scared. "Oh shit."
(Meanwhile)
"Mother… mother!" One of the sisters called.
"What is it? What is wrong?" Carmilla asked, concerned.
"Mom, you gotta see this." Her other daughter says.
"The Vees are being attacked again." Her other daughter says.
"Again? A second attack this early after the first?" Carmilla says before putting a hand to her chin. "Seems these attackers have gotten bolder after last time."
"Okay, we just lost him, but from what we've seen the possible assassins are still down and… wait…" Katie started before she looked at the minimized screen. "Wait, what the fuck?"
Carmilla hummed to herself as she tuned out the TV for a moment, trying to figure out who would attack the Vees two times with the Extermination not that far.
"M-mom." One of the daughters says, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"What the fuck is… is… is that a fucking human?" Katie says to which the Overlord's eyes suddenly went wide before she walked over to the TV, seeing a human boy standing above Vox.
(Elsewhere)
In a bar, many demons were watching, looking shocked by what they saw. "Am I high or am I actually seeing this? That… that's a fucking mortal human right there!" Katie shouted as a certain dinosaur girl looked shocked as well.
(Elsewhere again)
"There's a fucking human down there." Katie's voice sounded from a radio as Rosie looked at it in disbelief. "How the fuck is there a human!?"
(Back on the street)
Standing above him was Ash, staring down at him with his bright blue eyes burning into his soul. His body was covered in a blue glow and scowling at the demon. Vox grunted a bit in pain, but other than that, he could never look more frightened.
He looked around, seeing his Pokemon hurt from the battle beforehand. Then he looked back at the TV head, his face slowly changing from anger to boiling rage. Again before Vox could react, Ash got down, pinning his shoulders with his knees, and then punched him again, creating a blue flash.
Vox moaned in pain, the part of his face where his left eye was being completely shattered, exposing components and causing sparks to fly. The moment he looked back up, he was hit with another punch that sent more shards of glass flying. As he did, the nearby TVs and the camera up in the helicopter started to glitch and emit sparks.
Ash didn't stop there and kept punching, wailing on the Overlord as more sparks and glass spread through the street, the girls, the Vees, and the Pokemon watching in shock before the TVs in the shops started to explode along with the camera in the helicopter causing turbulence before it crashed into a nearby building.
(Meanwhile)
At the news station, things were going haywire. The screen behind the reporters suddenly glitched to the point where nothing could be recognized and the cameras malfunctioning.
"What the fuck is going on!?" Katie before the screen behind her exploded, flames somehow missing her and setting Tom on fire as he ran around screaming.
(Back to the street)
Ash was still punching the Overlord over and over and over again. Eventually, he finally stopped, huffing and puffing, his knuckles stained with blood. Vox's screen was shattered beyond recognition, his mouth and left eye unable to show.
With his only eye remaining, he slowly looked up, seeing the boy still angry. He felt something he never felt long before. True and utter terror.
"Good job so far." The voice says as Ash's right hand then starts to glow. "Now, it's time to finish the job." The light slowly took the shape of an aura dagger.
The human didn't even look at his hand, just slowly raised it above his hand while grabbing it with the other. A part of him hesitated for a moment, breathing heavily.
"Do it…" The voice said again, the feeling of hands on his own. "END HIM…"
He made his decision and then brought it down.

…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
… But the sounds of a machine being stabbed didn't come.
Vox stared up at the boy, having expected to be killed at that moment, but the moment didn't come.
Rage had faded from Ash's face, rather, pure confusion. His hands seemed to have stopped before the left from above his head, another pair of hands holding them, but not the ones he felt earlier. However, he recognized the feeling of them.
"Ash, please…" He heard someone sob behind him. "Please don't do this."
He recognized that voice and slowly, he started to feel the anger subside, the aura dagger disappearing from his palms. Then he felt arms wrap around his torso before he felt someone press their face against the back of his shirt, staining it with tears.
"Please, don't leave me…" Charlie sobbed. "Come back to me please."
As he heard those words, his body slowly stopped glowing. Then he looked down at his hands, seeing them covered in blood, then seeing the frightened Overlord under him. He slowly started to realize what he was about to do and looked… frightened.
He then felt another set of arms wrap around him.
"I know how you feel." Vaggie says. "I know how much it hurts, but please. Don't lose yourself."
He slowly held both of their arms, his breathing slowly steadying, his eyes watering.
"Pika…" He then looked down, seeing his partner Pokemon looking at him with fear and worry. "Pikachu."
Seeing him standing in front of him, the blue light faded from Ash's eyes, tears trailing down his face. He slowly reached for the Pokemon, picked him up, then pulled him into a hug, resting his chin against the fur. Pikachu hugged back, not caring that his fur was slightly stained by his trainer's bloody hands.
The Vees in the tower had seen the whole thing, still slackjawed and shocked by what they just witnessed.
After a bit, the girls helped the boy to his feet, Razzle, Dazzle, and the Pokemon going over to join his side, despite their injuries.
"Let's just… go. There's no point in staying here." Charlie says as the boy just nodded in agreement.
They all started to leave, Tauros limping a bit while wincing. However, Ash stopped on his feet, turning to the damaged Overlord with a glare. He wasn't fully done.
"Stay away from the hotel… stay away from me…" His hold on Pikachu became more firm. "And stay away from my friends."
Vox could only look on in shock with his remaining eye before the group continued walking. Once out of sight, he put a hand to the frame of his face, whatever remained of his screen glitching for a second. He only thought of one thing.
"I… I-I almo-o-ost died."
Meanwhile, a familiar cyclops girl was watching with a telescope.
"Holy fucking shit…" She says in disbelief while lowering the telescope. "... That was fucking hot."
(Elsewhere again)
The TV was showing a technical difficulties screen for a little bit before it glitched back to the news, showing the destruction that happened on a cracked screen.
"Fuck! Fuck! What was that!?" Katie screamed as Tom was left traumatized while still smoking. "Can anyone… wait are we rolling again?... Why the fuck didn't you tell me-!? Uh… sorry about that folks."
The sisters stared at the screen in shock, but none ever so than their mother. Carmilla couldn't believe what she saw, wondering if what she saw was truly real or not. If it were real…
"What did I just see?"
(At the hotel)
As the group started to arrive at the entrance, Ash was still clinging to Pikachu protectively. What he saw… what he heard… what he did… it was… unbelievable. He didn't want to think about it. He wanted to go back to bed, fall asleep, and forget that today had ever happened. He never wanted to remember it for as long as he was alive.
Once they stepped through the doors, the others minus Alastor who was at the parlor, noticed and went to them.
"Hey, are…" Angel says in relief before seeing the state they were in. "Holy shit."
"Yeah, we… don't wanna talk about it right now." Vaggie tells him.
"GIBLE!" Niffty squealed before running up to the shark Pokemon and hugging him tightly, rubbing her face against his as he cooed happily.
"Hey, uh…" Husk says as Oshawott stood in front of him. "Good to… see you're okay." He says before the otter clung to his leg, then him patting the Pokemon on the head.
Charizard, Sceptile, Tauros, Razzle, and Dazzle almost collapsed as they entered as well. "Yeesh, you guys got the worst of it, huh?" Angel says while patting their heads as Charizard let out a low growl, still in pain.
"Snivy! Thank goodness you're okay!" Pentious says as he hugged the grass Pokemon. "I was so worried about you." He says as Snivy patted his shoulder.
"Ash, are you…" Charlie started to say before he held her hand.
"I'll be fine." He says while giving her a reassuring smile.
Seeing him being able to still smile gave her relief and brought her to smile as well.
"Pikachu." The electric Pokemon says while putting a paw on his trainer's chin.
"You need rest more than I do, buddy. Don't worry about me." He says while rubbing his head.
"Yeah, I want this day to be over." Vaggie says before grabbing his shoulder. "Come on. Medical wing first, bed after. Okay?"
"Yeah, agre-" Ash suddenly stopped, his face turning to shock.
"... Ash?" Vaggie asked in concern.
He stared into the distance, his body slowly twitching before he started to feel light-headed. The voices of the other started to become mute from a ringing in his ears, then his sight slowly became blurry before…
He felt his body hit the ground.
