"That's enough silent!" yelled Iruka all the children begin to whisper about his state "the reason I look like this because there was a traitor last night but he was taken care of. Now today is your first step into a world that no longer sees you as children the day you each put on that headband is the day you became adults in the eyes of the ninja world. I won't sugarcoat it each of you will see how tough and harsh the ninja world but I have faith that the Will of Fire burns in each of you." preached Iruka.
He then grabs a paper "now, for team placements. Once I announce your names this will determine your teammates are. Team 8 will compromise of Kiba Inuzuka, Hinata Hyuga, and Shino Aburame your sensei will be Kurenai Yūhi. Team 10 will be Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, and Ino Yamanaka your sensei will be Asuma Sabutobi. " said Iruka.
Ino's eyes open widely "WHAT! How come. Why do I have to be paired up with them! I wanted to be with Sasuke-Kun!" exclaimed a frustrated Ino.
Iruka who has a giant mark on the side of his head glares at Ino "the teams were picked based off who will be suited for who." said Iruka Ino quickly sat down glaring at Sakura who was grinning at the platinum blonde "Now, Team 7 will be Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha-hell yeah love conquers all! " yelled Sakura happy to be with her crush.
Iruka glares at her causing the pinknette to sit back down "as I was saying your last teammate will be Sai and your sensei will be Kakashi Hatake, and Team 9 will be Menma Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki, and Yakumo Kurama your sensei will be Yugao Uzuki. Congratulations everyone I hope you all have a successful career ahead of you now please wait for your sensei it shouldn't take long. "said Iruka but this had shocked both Naruto and Menma they never expected her to become sensei they'd just figure she would continue with her being Anbu.
Naruto then turned towards a pale brunette who bow to them in a respectful manner "I do hope we can become friends." said Yakumo.

Both Naruto and Menma raised an eyebrow at the girl from what they remember Yakumo would miss class quite a lot due to her sickness. Naruto turns to Menma who nods his head at his brother since we're going to be teammates we might as well work together with each other." said Naruto the pale female nods her head Naruto turns towards her with a curious expression "you're a genjutsu specialist aren't you?" asked Naruto.
Yakumo nods her head "yes I am. I am part of the Kurama clan we specialize in genjutsu what about you two?" asked Yakumo both Naruto and Menma narrowed their eyes as Sai stares at the two Yakumo turns from them and turns towards Sai who's staring at the three with a fake smile Yakumo narrowed her eyes at the pale boy it wasn't just his smile was fake but his eyes were emotionless.
Menma's blue eyes turn towards Yakumo "how about we tell you once our sensei has arrived." states Menma the brunette nods her head in agreement. The pale-skinned boy didn't look special to Menma but with how emotionless he seems wasn't right. Ever since Sai had been transferred into the Academy he always seemed to be staring at the blonde and red-haired twin duo the two of them never really paid that much attention to Sai even before Yugao was training them they hardly paid attention to anyone in the academy.
To them, Sai was no different than the ignorant ninjas and citizens who hide their hatred of them with false smiles. Because of their unique ability to feel others' emotions, they can always tell when someone has negative thoughts the two siblings had also developed a mental link allowing them to speak with each other through their minds they can also sense each other presence.
Naruto, Menma, and Yakumo sat in each of their seats patiently waiting for Yugao to arrive "should we do something about Sai?" thought Menma.
"No, he isn't worth our time but there's something strange about him. But as long as he doesn't try anything, we won't act but of course, if that idiot does try something we'll just put his ass in place." thought Naruto Menma turns towards his brother and nods his head.
The entrance of the academy opens revealing Asuma Sarutobi, Kurenai Yuhi, and Yugao Uzuki unlike before Yugao changes her wardrobe she now has a Konoha forehead protector around her head she keeps her hair in a ponytail, she wears a jounin vest, anbu gauntlets, anbu pants, and black shinobi shoes, and she has a katana strapped to her side. Yugao turns towards Naruto, Menma, and Yakumo "Team 9 follow." ordered Yugao she directs to a training ground that is surrounded by various rivers and waterfalls each of them then sits down on the grassy ground. Yugao smiles at them "hello, my name is Yugao Uzuki I already know Naruto and Menma but you miss you're new so how about we tell each other our likes, dislikes, and dreams? " asked Yugao the three of them nods each of heads "very well, I'll go first I am a former anbu captain, my likes are my friends, moon watching, practicing kenjutsu, my two students, and my boyfriend, my dislike are traitors, those who abuse their power, and those who take joy in hurting children, and my dream is to have to family of my own." said Yugao she then turns Yugao "your turn." said Yugao.
Yakumo nods her head "my name is Yakumo Kurama I am the heiress of the Kurama Clan. My likes are genjutsu, Dango, painting, green tea, and my tutor Anko. My dislikes Kurenai and my uncle." said Yakumo she then gains an angry look at the mention of Kurenai which had caused the Uzumaki brothers to be curious at her hatred she then released a sigh "and my dream...to be the strongest genjutsu user." said Yakumo.
Yugao smiles at Yakumo's dream but is also worried about her hatred of Kurenai she then turns towards Menma "right it's my time my name is Menma Uzumaki, I like training, expanding my kyūjutsu, my brother, ramen, and ninjutsu, my dislike is idiots, ignorant people, fake people, and weakness idiots who like to talk big, and my dream is to be the god of shinobi and be stronger than Hashirama and Madara." said Menma Yakumo looks at Menma with a gaze she doesn't remember anyone using kyūjutsu.
Naruto rubs the back If his head "my name is Naruto Uzumaki i like ramen, training, improving my kenjutsu, finding new ways in using my abilities, my brother, red bean soup, and learning new jutsu, I hate idiots, people who don't have even the simplest idea of fuinjustu, traitors, Sasuke, and Sakura, and my dream is to surpass every kage in history." said Naruto.
Yugao sweat drops at what the two brothers hated "well you three each have very interesting dreams now I think its time to tell you what you're test is." said Yuago.
Yakumo stares at Yuago with a confused expression "test? What test! I thought we had already passed the genin test!" hissed a very annoyed after being thrown to the side by her first sensei she did not want to be thrown to the side she did give Anko her word she would pass the genin test "I won't fail you Anko-sensei and I'll make sure you regret throwing me to the side Kurenai." thought Yakumo.
Yugao turns her gaze away from the frustrated brunette and turns towards the Uzumaki siblings who have a cold look in their eyes. "The test you took was mock test it was to see who has the capability of passing the genin test the true genin test is tomorrow morning at this training ground at eight in the morning and for a word of advice try not to eat breakfast," warned Yuago before any of the children could ask any more question she shunshin away.
Time Skip
The next morning Naruto, Menma, and Yakumo can be seen waiting for their sensei they no longer have to wait any longer as Yuago shunshin in front of them she smiles at them "good you're all here now let me explain the test I have for you this test is different than the usual test a sensei gives out to their students. The test I have for you is the quite old fashion it hadn't been used since the first and second Great Ninja War the test I have is a survival test you must be able to survive my friend for an hour." said Yuago.
Menma's blue eyes stare at Yuago with confusion "survive what exactly?" asked the red-haired teen.
Instead of answering him she bites her finger drawing blood and slams her hand on the ground a huge cloud of smoke envelopes their view once the cloud vanishes a large Snow Leopard appears in front of them the summoning animal surpasses the size of a grown lion "this is my friend Yukioka (Snow Hill) and your opponent." said Yuago.
"Yuago-san has told me not to hold back and I shall do what she has commanded." said the snow leopard her icy blue eyes gazes at Naruto and Menma.
"You're testing begins...now!" exclaimed Yuago before any of them could react Yukioka released a gust of frozen wind throwing the three children back.
Menma rubs back of his head "damn, so that big cat wasn't lying. " commented Menma he's then forced to dodge as wind blades nearly cuts him to pieces as he looks back he sees several trees cut down "damn that's some power." muttered Menma he then pulls out his staff he narrowed eyes as several wind bullets heading towards his way "so, she's hiding in the trees alright let's see if i can force the cat out. Storm Release: Laser Grid Technique (Ranton: Rēzāguriddo no Jutsu)." said Menma he then stabs his staff in the ground and four waves of storm blast are sent towards Yukioka's hiding spot forcing the Snow Leopard out of her spot.
The large animal charges at him Menma clicks his tongue in annoyance he quickly uses his staff as a springboard nearly missing the feline's claws, Yukioka appears in front him with no time to dodge the summoning animal he uses his staff to block Yukioka's claw "you are fast on your feet but not fast enough." commented Yukioka with incredible speed she appears behind him shocking the red-haired child " Blizzard Whip (Fubuki no Muchi)." said Yukioka hitting Menma with her tail which was infused with Hyoton chakra.
Menma grunts as he bounces off the ground Yukioka appears in front of him again he then backflips he quickly unleashed a volley of lightning infused kunai she quickly avoids each weapon Menma quickly makes ten clones and sends them at her each wielding a kunai infuse with Ranton chakra "Naruto are you with Yakumo?" asked Menma.
"Yeah." Replied Naruto.
"Good, this makes the first part easier. I have a plan on how to stop Yugao-sensei's summoning cat, this damn thing is fast as hell," said Menma.
"I'm listening," said Naruto.
Menma smirks "this bastard is going to be a focus on us Yugao-sensei has obviously told Yukioka about us right, ?" asked Menma.
"Yeah and let's have been her main focus. That way Yakumo can use her genjutsu," said Naruto.
Menma grins "exactly." said Menma he then goes through the hands signs of Boar, Tiger, Bird, Ox he then claps his hands together both hands are then encased in a strong Storm light energy "and all I have to do is tsk, easy enough, Storm Release: Light Crash Technique (Ranton: Karuiasshu no Jutsu)." said Menma the last remaining clones threw each of their weapons to the ground Menma extends his arms out in an X formation a wide light beam is fired from his palms the beam goes straight to her but she skillfully dodges the beam scatters in several pieces shocking her the scattered beams then hit the kunai this creates a pillar trap beam of Menma's Storm Release she grunts in pain as she feels the of the storm every lightning bolt striking her.
She snarls at Menma and begins quickly collecting wind Menma narrowed his eyes at this he tightens his hands this causes the jutsu's power to increase the very ground begins to crumble at the sheer power of the lightning she bares her teeth and unleashes a large air bullet which had blown the two back she quickly gets back up and charges at him he uses his staff to block her from biting him he uses an ox hand seal "Uzumaki Unsealing Technique: Blitz Tiger Roar (Uzumaki Kaifūjutsu: Burittsutaigā)! roared Menma an unsealing formula appears on his palm and a tiger made from pink lightning rams her head and exploding in bright light.
She crashes into a few trees he then uses the Boar, Tiger, and Snake hand seal "Storm Release: Black Cloud Technique (Ranton: Kuroi Kumo no Jutsu)." said Menma black clouds then begins to cover the training ground very soon the black clouds begin to everything else.
Yukioka growls annoyance as she can't see anything in this ebony mist "damn this fog must go on for at least five miles. I can't even my own paws." growled Yukioka.
"Storm Release: Speed Dance Technique (Ranton: Ashudansu no Jutsu)," said Menma from inside the black mist large eerie black thunderbolt hits tree which was only a few meters from her the tree is reduced to ash. The blast was so powerful it nearly fried her. Yukioka stares in shock at the power from the lightning bolt. She quickly is forced to be on the move as the black lightning storm attempts to reduce her to nothing but a smear on the ground she releases powerful air blast her lungs which deflects the lightning.
"What the hell is that?" asked Yakumo staring at the field black fog she couldn't see anything besides the flashes of a black thunderstorm.
Naruto smirks at this "it's Menma." said Naruto shocking Yakumo she didn't understand how Menma could this creating something that would need a lot of power and chakra at their disposal but a genin shouldn't have this much chakra. "Yakumo is ready to use your genjutsu imma give you the signal." said Naruto he opens his hand and begins collecting explosion chakra a small orange orb takes form "Explosion Release: Raining Bombardment (Bakuton: Amehōgeki)." said the blonde twin he then grabs hold of the orb and chucks it to the sky it then explodes clearing the black fog suddenly dozen of light beam are fired from the orb as the beams hit the ground they explode " if you think we aren't going to go all out then you are an idiot!" states Naruto with crooked grin.
Yakumo couldn't believe it the power the two display was amazing and scary, the skill two had was amazing, not very many genins possess this much skill and their willingness to kill was scary they had no problem killing or using power jutsu on comrades and their teamwork was scary sure they're twins but its different than normal siblings.
Even Yukioka didn't understand how two genins have this much power sure they are jinchuriki but this level of control was unheard of "damn it Yugao said they were strong but this is crazy!" thought Yukioka as she jumps on a rock nearly dodging the blast.
As the flashes of explosions die down she uses the boar hand seal "Kurama Secret Technique: Dark Light (Kurama Hijutsu: Kurai Hikari)." said Yakumo the large leopard's eyes widened as her body feels heavy as if the gravity itself had increased suddenly everything around her became pitch black dark her whole body then becomes numb.
"Ugh, what is this!" exclaimed Yukioka she then felt like was in dark murky water she then hears a loud hiss she slowly turned her head and stares in shock as a giant maroon-colored snake stares at her hunger, the snake's size easily dwarfs Manda's making the Boss summon seems like a hatching "what the hell!" yelled Yukioka the snake then its jaw but before it can swallow her everything begins to change no longer in the water but back at the training ground "genjutsu!" exclaimed the feline.
"And a strong one too," said Yugao the purple-haired former anbu "that genjutsu must've been powerful you were really out of it," commented Yuago she then turns towards her young genin and has a smile on her face " you three have great teamwork and you were able to beat Yukioka. Congratulations you there is officially genin." said Yuago she watches as Yakumo gains a small smile on her face and the Uzumaki twins smirk at each other "we'll meet back here tomorrow morning for Team 11's first mission." states Yuago the children bows at their sensei.
Next week Team 11 stands in front of Hiruzen and listens as the man list of the missions both Naruto and Menma came to realize something. One they hated D-Rank missions, two they hate how lazy the citizens are, and three they hate cats. Naruto narrowed his violet-colored eyes at the brunette.
Flashback- a few hours ago
Just like many genins before them they must capture Tora pet of the Daimyo "Naruto, Menma remember don't kill Tora we need it alive!" warned Yuago full well knowing the two wanted to kill the cat.
"Yeah, Yeah we know!" said Menma.
"We weren't going to kill the thing. Just scare it," said Naruto but this doesn't even seem to reassure the purplenette.
Menma pulls out a few kunai as he sees Tora running "target sited, I'm going to trap the target." said Menma.
"Right," said Naruto he pulls out his own set of kunai and pours his Bakuton into each blade.
"Roger," said Yakumo.
Menma infused his Ranton into the kunai he then throws a kunai in front of the cat making it jump in surprise the cat then makes a turn a kunai lands behind him a small explosion goes off scaring the cat making it speed up taster zigzag through the busy streets.
This had continued for a few minutes until Tora ran into a blocked alleyway it tilts its head in confusion as it sees a brunette going through hand signs and slams her hand on the ground Tora then faints as a giant purple and maroon colored snake appears in front of her the snake then wraps its tail around the cat stopping it from moving both brothers stare in shock not excepting her to summon a snake.
Flashback End
"Both Yakumo and Yuago-sensei have a summoning contract Hashirama nor Madara had a summoning contract but they do seem useful." thought Naruto but he would only sign a powerful animal contract he knew his brother would agree after all they will be the strongest shinobi ever.
Ahhh, Tora-chan! Come back!" exclaimed the overweight woman running after her cat.
"Or capture Tora." Says Hiruzen.
"If you send us after that cat I'm gonna kill it!" hissed Naruto to prove he ignites his Bakuton on his palm.
"Yeah, these missions are a complete waste of!" exclaims Menma having everyone staring at him with a stunned and shocked look except Naruto.
The blonde twin nods his head " these missions might be suited for Nara and his team but not us." said Naruto in a cool tone.
"These chores are beneath us, we want a higher rank C-Rank would be good," said Menma.
"Naruto, Menma! YOU IDIOTS YOU CAN'T BE TALKING TO HOKAGE-SAMA! LEARN SOME RESPECT YOU TWO!" yelled Iruka.
But neither brother looked concern at the yelling they just stared at Hiruzen the old man lets out a low chuckle Iruka turns towards Hiruzen "haha, it's quite alright they have been training all this time and they just want to test themselves." said Hiruzen.
He then turns towards the two "we respect you Hokage-sama we just can't be wasting our time." said Menma.
Hiruzen massages his chin and stares at the two he felt bad that he had lost the boy's trust they reminded him of Orochimaru. He then sighs softly "okay, I'm giving you a chance to prove yourself but if your team fails you will have to do D-Rank missions for a month." said Hiruzen.
" Um, Hokage-sama what's the mission?" asked Yuago.
Hiruzen's grandfather's appearance vanishes and his Hokage face takes the place "it is a C-Rank mission but it can change into a B or an A-rank. Your goal is to travel to Land of Mist rescue the Daimyo's daughter Kamiya and to eliminate her hostages any questions?" Asked Hiruzen.
"Hokage who kidnapped her?" asked Yakumo.
"Followers of Yagura any other information will be in the scroll," said Hiruzen.
Yuago turns towards her team we meet in the front gates in ten minutes bring only the necessities and don't be late." ordered Yuago each child bows to their sensei and leaves the room.
Iruka turns towards the kunoichi "are you sure this was the right choice? They've only been able genin for a week are you sure it's a wise choice?" asked an uncertain Iruka.
"I can see you are concerned about them but I can assure you that they are ready. I have personally trained Naruto and Menma they are ready. I have read Yakumo's file and I'm aware she is trained by Anko. Now I must be going don't want to end up like Kakashi-sempai." said Yugao once she arrives at the meetup which was two minutes early she sees each them waiting for her "we better get a move on the faster we rescue Kamiya the better, diamond formation everyone diamond formation." ordered Yuago takes lead with Naruto and Menma behind her and Yakumo is behind them.
Yakumo lets a small smile to appear on her face sh then feels the warmth of the sun after her weakness was cured she took joy at feeling the sunlight, she was grateful for Anko's training "and knowing Anko she'll make me pay for dango as a sign of a good job." thought Yakumo Anko really was a strange one but she couldn't ask for a better teacher, but Anko does go overboard when it comes to training she made sure the brunette wouldn't be relying solidly on genjutsu.
The brunette turns towards Yuago with a curious look on her face "how many of these followers are there?" asked Yakumo.
"The scroll said there's at least ten of them. You three will have to be on your toes especially you two," said Yuago.
Yakumo simply nods her head while the twins look at each other with a curious and questionable stare they then turn towards their purple-haired sensei "who are these followers?" questioned Naruto.n
" A couple of years ago the previous Mizukage Yagura had started a civil war to kill every kekkei Genkai user. He believed those with a kekkei Genkai are responsible for all the deaths unfortunately they are known as the Bloody Mist for a reason many people have joined in his goal to kill every bloodline user. Lots of innocent lives were lost during this bloodbath a war, of course, there were people who didn't believe this and a rebellion was quickly formed but no one really knows why he started hating bloodline users." said Yuago.
All three had a grave expression sure each of them had experienced some form of pain and rejection due to them being different. But for Naruto and Menma this hit them hard because they are hated for being jinchuriki but this had only strengthened their resolve if these followers hated bloodline users so much they'll kill innocent people then they will die like the filth they are. These bastards don't deserve to live and the Uzumaki brothers will make sure death is the only thing they'll know.
"What rank are these dumbasses?" asked Naruto the one thing that Naruto hated was ignorant close-minded people since he found out him and his brother housed Kyuubi his hatred for ignorance had increased these people were just as stupid as the people in the village.
"One jounin, seven chunin, and three genins. The jounin are low level but leave them to me," ordered Yuago each of them nods their heads in agreement with their sensei. For the days Yuago had spent the time informing her team about the knowledge of the Land of Mist, the differences between Konohagakure and Kirigakure, and their plan. As they finished their boot ride they head towards a small village and set camp up was a few millimeters away from the Yagura's followers base. She turns to the twins Menma has his bow and a new double quiver and Naruto has his sword drawn "you two know your job?" asked Yuago the two nods their head in agreement" good report back once you two execute the scouts report back." ordered Yuago.
"Hai," said Naruto.
Menma nods his head "this won't take long." said Menma the two quickly run up the trees and begins jumping tree branch to tree "found one." thought Menma the two stop moving and sees a man patrolling the grounds Menma takes out two kunai he coats them in Ranton chakra he throws them before the chunin knew it both kunai had cut through the vocal cords he falls to his knees grabbing his neck.
His eyes go wide as Naruto appears in front of him, Naruto's left hand glows a bright orange "Explosion Release: Crimson Raptor (Bakuton: Shinkōshoku no Mōkin)!" said Naruto as he clawed the chunin the man is blown back with a good chunk of his stomach destroyed Menma jumps down and begins to search the man and taking anything he finds useful he then digs into the man's coat and finds a scroll with the label of wolf printed on the spine.
Menma tosses the scroll to Naruto upon seeing the scroll he smirks the two quickly survey the area seeing there isn't anyone coming he opens the scroll and see various of name one that stuck out to them was Ameyuri Ringo the two had heard of her, she was a powerful kunoichi and the only female that was part of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. "It seems like have to write our name in blood," states Naruto the blonde bites his thumb Menma does the same the two write their names in the scroll.
A huge cloud engulfed the scroll the cloud was so big it had blocked their view a loud growl can be heard forcing the two to jump back in surprise once the smoke vanished a large wolf which easily towers over the two. The wolf has pure white fur with golden streaks running across its face and thighs. Around its neck, the wolf wears an iron spiked choker the wolf has cold amber eyes. The wolf stares at Naruto and Menma with a cold look " who dares signed the Wolf Summoning Contract!" growled wolf the brothers had quickly noticed the wolf has a very stern hardened feminine voice.
The two brothers bow to summoning animal "we did, I'm Naruto Uzumaki and this is my brother Menma Uzumaki." said Naruto.
She narrowed her eyes at the two "Uzumaki? I was sure they died out but that doesn't seem to be true anymore." thought the female wolf but she never lightened her glare " my name is Byakuya I am the keeper of this summoning scroll. Why should I let two children sign the contract and newly fresh genin?" demanded Byakuya plus the two were from Konohagakure and the wolf contract has always been in the walls of the Land of The Mist.
The two stares at her with no sign of fear " we know about the civil war here I doubt the idiot we killed was even your summoner I bet this idiot stole or killed the previous owner. But if I have to be honest this civil war is a huge waste of fuckin' time! Plus we are one's who'll surpass Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha." said Menma Naruto nods with his brother their ambitions and will outgrow many of their peers both knew they could easily beat even kill many of their former classmates.
Byakuya stares at them with interest to surpass Konoha's first Hokage and traitor she then grins showing them her deadly fanged teeth. It's been a while since she had found a human with such conviction and determination and she rather not have Yagura's followers as a partner " you two don't seem like normal very well I'll allow you to sign it but if you two proved to be all talk we wolves of Yumegūru Island will feast on your flesh we the Wolf clan do not tolerate weakness!" states Byakuya.
"Right," said Naruto.
Menma grins "gotcha." says Menma Byakuya vanished in a puff of cloud Menma then gives the scroll to Naruto who then seals the scroll in his arm "not only do we get a real mission but we even get a summoning contract." states Menma.
"This day just keeps getting better and better. Now come on we still need to kill the rest of the scouts. Let's show these idiots why they are nothing more than a cockroach." states Naruto he then steps on the corpse's head crushing it.
"Right, at the end of the day they'll realize just how pointless and useless their lives actually," says Menma he then jumps to the trees.
Naruto quickly jumps up to the tree " these idiots shall know death." said Naruto.
"Yeah, like this Idiot Storm Release: Black Shade Technique (Ranton: Bakkuhēdo no Jutsu)," muttered Menma black lightning engulfs his arm he shoots the arrow with incredible speed the arrow travels at increasingly high speed it easily pierced a genin in the chest who was at least six miles away from the two quickly makes a few clones and orders them to seal away the body.
