Jiraiya shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly "yeah, why?" asked Jiraiya.
"Are sure we can actually trust this woman I mean this Tsunade hasn't been seen in the village for many years. How do we know we can trust her for all we know she's a a traitor just like that Orochimaru bastard!" said Menma after all with just surviving against the Otogakure invasion he was wary of her.
"I know Tsunade and she is no traitor." declared Jiraiya.
Both siblings stare at Jiraiya with an unconvinced expressions "and how do you know this? When was the last time you even seen her! Besides how can we trust her when she wasn't even in the village during the invasion." said Naruto he didn't want to take chances that this Tsunade woman was a traitor.
"And really? You know her? Tell me did you say the same thing when Orochimaru started playing witch doctor. Or what about the Anbu did they say the same thing before Itachi decided to wipe out his whole clan. How sure are you she isn't a treat?" questioned Naruto he didn't want to deal with another rogue ninja especially if another rogue happens to be another one of Jiraiya's former teammates.
"You guys are just going to have to trust me!" exclaimed Jiraiya he was really wondering why the two were so paranoid, through it was probably because of call the lies and secrets that caused them to be like this he mentally sighed through they are jinchuriki so it makes perfect sense they ha e trust issues.
"Tsk, sounds like something old monkey would say!" hissed Naruto the two made sure to never openly trust people living in Konohagakure you never knew which I truly trust.
"Ugh, fine whatever! It's your fault if this bites you in the ass! So, what's she like?" asked Naruto with his arms crossed he still wasn't going to trust this woman.

"Well, it should be easy just look for someone old and weird as you! We just need to start searching through casinos and find an old hag!" mocked Menma with a snarky grin Jiraiya looks at the redhead with a flat look.

"She may have a name but I don't think it'll be easy to find her she ain't the type to age gracefully, so she'll probably be using a special Jutsu to change her appearance she may be 50, but she'll have the looks of a 20 year old! And as I've been hearing lately sometimes she changes from a 10 year old to a 30 or 40 just to get away from her gambling debts!" said Jiraiya the man knew finding her wasn't going to be easy but fortunately it won't be as difficult as tracking down Orochimaru.
The blonde and redhead groan they just knew finding this woman was going to be a pain in the ass "ugh, we haven't even met her and I can tell I already don't like her." muttered Naruto he honestly hope this woman was worth the headache.
"Tsunade as a kid, loved to gamble more than anything else unfortunately, she sucked at it both in skill and in luck. She had the name 'sucker' since a long time ago! Back then, she was always borrowing money and then running away afterwards ah, those were the days." said Jiraiya reminiscing the old days before the war started.
"You're joking, right? Well, how the hell are going to find her?" asked Menma this woman sounded like a pain in the ass he was pretty sure his brother thought the same thing.
"Since we're going by foot, there's all these ways of doing it." said Jiraiya.
"But that means we don't know how long this is even going to take?" asked Menma with eyes narrowed sure they can probably check every casino but that could take forever especially for someone who doesn't want to be found.
"We don't have much time to spare we'll be spending most of our time on our journey on you! It's time to begin your training!" said a grinning Jiraiya the two brothers grins at this excited and eager to begin their training.
Sometime later, the trio gazes down at a town which is large and crowded with people. Naruto and Menma looked impressed as they stare at the large town "this is the town," said Jiraiya as the trio walk through the busy town the twins look around with curiosity. "Have a good time doing whatever you want! This will be a break before the training starts until the festival is over we'll stay here for now and do the training here as well." said Jiraiya.
"Sure, it beats looking at your old mug!" mocked Menma with Naruto snickering at the jab the two then dig into their bag ignoring the curious old with the two of them pulled out a frog like wallet. Naruto's wallet is green while his brother's is purple in color.
"Oh...sure is a lump sum of money you have thete! Just like a government official, no!" exclaimed Jiraiya seeing the two wallets which look like they are about to burst.
"We've been saving up! It's a smart move to have savings for a rainy day, later we're off!" said Menma the two are about to take off but are stopped by Jiraiya.
"Hang on! You two! I'll keep the savings for you!" exclaimed Jiraiya teaching for their wallets but is stopped when a rant and a lightning saber are pressed against his neck causing the man to sweat drop at the death glares.
"You must be an idiot if you think we're handing over our savings!" snarled Naruto there was no way in hell they are leaving their money with Jiraiya.
"There's no way in hell were leaving our money with you! You'll just spend it on some whore!" snarled Menma knowing Jiraiya he would spend it on booze and women.
"Yeah, the money stays with us pervert!" said Naruto they never trusted anyone with their money and they weren't going to start now.
"There are three sins that shinobi to do. You should know this!" said Jiraiya the two look at him with a blank look not even lowering his weapon.
"Three sins? That sounds like bullshit!" said Naruto with an unconvinced look.
"The 'three sins' are things that a shinobi must avoid these are three things to stay away from! The three vices I will point out are alcohol, money, and women." says Jiraiya in a safe tone but neither was buying it.
"Shouldn't you be following your own advice?" questioned Menma in a flat Naruto then takes out an explosion pellet and drops it to floor forcing Jiraiya to jump back avoiding the explosion as the cloud vanished the two are gone leaving Jiraiya alone.
As the two were wondering around the village Naruto scoffed to himself "can you believe it! Does he think we're a bunch of fuckin' idiots!" exclaimed Naruto patting his wallet.
"I know right! That might've work if we were stupid! Seriously like hell we're leaving our money with him! That trick might work on that dumbass Kiba but not us!" said Menma as the two wonderful around the village playing multiple games and eating multiple types of food. The two brothers stopped stuffing their faces with takoyaki balls as they see a vender selling mask the two bought Anbu like mask but unfortunately, Menma couldn't see where he was going but Naruto caught his brother just in time.
"Maybe not where them while walking." advised Naruto he quickly pulled his brother up the two then stop at a vender selling fried squid the two grin at the food stand "hey, get me two orders of this kind of squid cut in pieces." said Naruto staring at the fried squid both brothers looked at it hungrily.
"Yes, I'll give boss the really good one! I'll give you a small one free of charge! Pick any you like!" says the man the Uzumaki twins grin at this.
Once they've gotten their fried squid the two wondered around until they heard Jiraiya's voice "that's the pervert's voice!" said Menma the two move the curtains and find their new sensei with two women cuddling with him and several Sake bottles.
The drunken Sannin giggles drunkenly at his students "ohh...Naruto, Menma! Eheh, how'd it go at the festival?" asked the drunken Jiraiya two gain a twitching eyebrow as they stare at the many bottles.
"I know crap about Three Sins of A Shinobi was nothing but bullshit!" yelled Naruto he knew this old man was lying.
"If you're gonna lecture someone follow you out own damn rules! You dirty old man! What the hell happened to collecting information!" yelled Menma if there was one thing the twins hated was having their time wasted.
"N-Naruto..Menma calm down this is a misunderstanding...l-listen!" pleaded Jiraiya the fried squid they were holding flew out of their hands and two men behind them.
"Look at what you did! What are going to do about this, you stupid brats!" yelled a bald man the two turns to give the two older man a dark glare. "You put a stain on Akoki's designer suit! An expensive type of clothing! You better compensate us for this! Give me 100,00 for it!" exclaimed the enraged man.
Menma didn't look amused at the yelling bald man, while Naruto scoffed at him "piss off! We're not paying you shit!" yelled Naruto there was no way they were paying these two people anything.
"There's no way that thing is that much! Either you're an idiot or they scammed your dumb ass! If anything that suit looks cheap!" insulted Menma in with a grin Jiraiya rolled his eyes at the two.
"What did you sag, ya little brat! Cheap! You better not mess with us for your sake! Akoki is a former Chunin- wow, former Chunin! You hear that Menma! We got ourselves a genuine loser! I mean what are 40? What a pathetic loser!" mocked Naruto both he and Menma begin laughing at the man mocking how he's only a lowly Chunin and how stupid he is for having a horrible suit.
"I'll show you brats what pain really is!" yelled the man.
the man charges at them Naruto charges up his hand ready to explode the man ignoring Jiraiya calls for him "Explosion Release: Human Bombing (Bakuton: Ningen no Bakugeki)," thought Naruto but before he can reach the man Jiraiya steps in front of the man slamming with a sphere made of chakra.
The two men are launched outside creating a big whole both men layed on their backs Jiraiya walks towards the downed man "this is a victory few I'll be taking sorry about this...looks like your carts broken to bits." said Jiraiya.
" Ju-just what did you do!" groaned the downed man who's fighting to stay awake.
"I just saved you if I didn't the blonde one would've blown you to kingdom come! Here's payment for the damages and for all the water ballons." said Jiraiya handing the man a fair amount of money.
"I don't really mind." said the old man.
" just now in his palm...that was chakra! But what kind of Jutsu was that?" thought Naruto.
Jiraiya turns to the twins "alright you two! Time to begin your training!" says Jiraiya with a smirk.
"About time!" grinned Naruto the trio left the town entering into a clear valley avoid of anyone "so, what kind of training are we doing?" asked Naruto.
"Here you go! It's a water balloon!" says Jiraiya handing them a water balloon.
"What the hell are we supposed to do with these! Have a water balloon fight?" exclaimed Menma it took everything in the redhead not to charge the ball with his lightning affinity and throw it at his sensei.
"Did you pay attention to the jutsu I just did?" asked Jiraiya the two look very annoyed at the man not enjoying these questions they wish he would just tell him and not having them play 20 questions.
"Yeah, I saw you made a spinning ball of chakra and hit those idiots!" said Menma his and Naruto's eyes then went wide "wait a minute! Ball of chakra! There's only one other person that can do that!" thought Menma Jiraiya smirks at their widened expression. "That jutsu was our father's wasn't it?" asked Menma staring down at the water balloon.
"So, you figured it out? Yes, the technique I used was made by your father. From a normal point of view, it would seen that way...that's right they spun, alright. With this tree climbing type of chakra, your chakra level must be maintained by focusing your mind, and keeping that concentration with the water walking chakra, you released a fixed amount of chakra continuously. And so! With this one you should use the water walking chakra, with a continuous flow soon it around!" says Jiraiya.
"Chakra with a continuous flow?" repeated Naruto.
"Well, to fully understand the jutsu means to be able to read the elements and predict the outcome first, use the principle of 'tree climbing' chakra by maintaining a moderate amount in your hands and the principle of water walking chakra by releasing it continuously." explained Jiraiya.
"I think I understand until this water balloon is about to boil, use the water walking training! But I have an idea how to speed up the training." said Naruto with a grin his brother matching the grin while Jiraiya looked at them with a question stare "Kage no Bunshin!" exclaimed Naruto both he and Menma created 30 clones Jiraiya grins at this.
"So, you two know the secret of Kage No Bunshin! Good, this will speed the training but you shouldn't over do it with the clones." advised Jiraiya the two nod in agreement that night when Mizuki tried to trick then they had read about the Kage No Bunshin including about the memory of the clone returning to the original.
Time Skip Next day
Thanks to the Kage No Bunshin the twins were able to complete the first step in the technique by nightfall. The two were confidently smirking at Jiraiya "and now, we'll begin step 2." says Jiraiya tossing then a rubber ball "now you must break this ball!" said Jiraiya within seconds the rubber ball in his hand burst into pieces. "This one is way is harder than the water balloon." said the Toad Sage.
The twins hold out their hands and watch as the ball moves side to side but it doesn't burst "first step is to spin second step is to add power of there is no water, its hard to feel the chakra moving, so its hard to power it up or control it practice like this for a bit. Alright then I'm going to collect information." says Jiraiya who turned away from the twins until Naruto hits him in the back of the head with a pebble.
the two brothers narrowed their eyes at the Toad Sage "didn't you say that today you were going to train Menma?" said Naruto with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, is this how you trained our father you just explain a little bit and hope we'd get it! and then left us to our own devices cause Yuago-sensei never does this!" said Menma Jiriaya cringed at that to be honest that's exactly how he teamed his team.
"I said I'd teach the both of you, but it's not that simple. Don't misunderstand, I said I'd teach you the jutsu but I never said it would be simple if you can't depend on yourself, then forget it." said Jiraiya with his back turned but this has angered the two.
"Tsk, you talk high for your a godfather who couldn't even bother to send to clone or Toad to check up on us! We've been depending on yourselves before you even showed up our whole life we only depended on each other!" said Menma turning his back on Jiraiya who felt guilt but he knew the two needed to figure this out on their is own Jiraiya is forced to grab the back of his head in pain as the duo threw a pebble at him.
Naruto and Menma scoffed at the retreating Jiraiya and glances down at the ball "come on, Menma relying on him is pretty much unless! It's pretty obvious we have to find out how to do this on our own!" said Naruto he was wondering if Jiraiya trained their father like this leaving them to their own devices he then narrowed his eyes "the damn idiot could at least leave a clone with us!" said Naruto.
"Right, some Sannin! I bet our father got as strong as he did without that old Toad's help but I've been thinking." says Menma the blonde Uzumaki turned towards Menma with a curious gaze "I think we've been doing this exercise all wrong we're using the method to burst it as if it's filled with water instead we should treat it another way." said Menma.
"Another way? What do you mean?" asked Naruto he was wondering what Menma was getting at but he was right the method they were using wasn't working at all and if they kept using the same method with a the water balloon on the rubber ball they'll be at this for days.
"Instead of rotating it in every other direction we should try focusing it on one spot. You remember when Iruka taught the class the leaf exercise right?" asked Menma.
Naruto grins at this with a wide fox grin "yeah, I remember even though his lectures are boring! The key to the leaf exercise and this is to concentrate one spot! Alright let's do this! Kage no Bunshin!" exclaimed Naruto creating clones each of the clones then begin to get to work two days later Naruto and Menma were training concentrating on the ball. Each ball begins to shake violently until they burst in a rotating burst of power that made the two flew back but Jiraiya caught the two.
"Seems like you've mastered the 2nd stage." said Jiraiya he then turns to look at their hands which was steam rolling off of it "wow, to concentrate chakra to the extent where it burnt their hands! These two are quite amazing though I they shouldn't be too surprised." thought Jiraiya smirking at the exhausted duo "we're going to meet Tsunade now, I'll explain the basics of the third step in the way," says Jiraiya.
Time skip
The trio enter a small pub and to his shock he spotted Tsunade along with her aid Shizune the two elder shinobi stare in shock "Jiraiya, why are you at a place like this?" asked Tsunade.
"That's the woman we're looking for? She looks more like a drunk than anything else." thought Naruto the two stare at her and quickly figured she was using a genjutsu to appear young to him the woman didn't look all that impressive he wasn't sure what he expected the granddaughter of Hashirama to be like but the site before him was just pitiful he already felt like this was a waste of time.
"Finally, we've found you." said Jiraiya.
"Today I met someone that brings back bad memories." said the drunken Tsunade.
"Orochimaru? Did anything happen?" asked Jiraiya in a serious tone that was all business.
Shizune stares at Tsunade who gives her a hardened stare "Nothing much just a little greeting. " said Tsunade the two brothers glares at her not trusting a word that came from the drunk woman's mouth. "You too...why'd you come to see me?" asked Tsunade.
"To tell you the truth the village of the leaf has issued a request for you to be the 5th Hokage." said Jiraiya both Tsunade and Shizune stare at the man with a shocked expression while Naruto and Menma watched Tsunade "The third is," trailed Jiraiya Shizune looks down on sadness at the rumors of the Third Death to be true.
"It was Orochimaru's work I heard he told me," said Tsunade this raised alarms for Jiraiya he knew Orochimaru and her weren't just catching up, his former comrade Orochimaru would never tracked someone down just to say hello he definitely offer her something.
"So, your answer are you willing to accept? So, what's your answer?" asked Jiraiya.
"Impossible, I decline," said Tsunade.
Naruto openly scoffed at her "tsk, legendary Sannin? What a joke! I thought you said she'd be a good fit? This is a waste of time!" said Naruto who finally decided to speak up it was clear as day this woman has no interest in returning to the village.
"I thought you were some kind of great medic the only great thing about her is that genjutsu! I'd say we leave now! We already wasted enough time here" said Menma.
Tsunade glances over at the two boys "blonde and red hair? Those two must his children though that attitude is no doubts Kushina." thought Tsunade.
Jiraiya waves off the two "don't worry so much this person right here, Tsunade is the only person who can become the 5th Hokage she was the one that brought us victory in the battle no one has been able to acquire her techniques. She is the most appropriate person for the position this was a decision made by the top members of the leaf you have absolutely no way in this matter." said the grinning Jiraiya the two simply rolled their eyes at Jiraiya muttering about stupid old people.
"Jiriaya these kids seem worse than your previous apprentice in terms of looks, speech and intelligence he was a smart, but even that the Yondaime died quickly he gave up his life for his village life is different from money it can't be risked that easily whoever puts it at risk so easily is a fool my grandfather and the second focused too much on bringing peace to our home, more than anything else but as a result, they just died in the middle of their dreams, like the losers." said the drunken Sannin.
" You've changed a lot, Tsunade I don't know what you've been thinking all this time, but you've just said all that's on your mind. " said Jiraiya looking at Tsunade with a hardened look.
"Well...I'm already in my 50s age changes people It's the same for Sarutobi no wondered he died...because he was too old to live in his dreams." said the woman Jiraiya looks at his former teammate with a cold expression while Naruto and Menma gave her a dark look.
The two stood up glaring daggers "You fuckin' bitch! I don't give a damn about Sarutobi being dead that bastard deserves what he got! But no one and I mean no bad mouths out father especially not some wash up drunk old hag! I don't give a shit if you are the granddaughter of Shodaime all I see is a pathetic excuse of a kunoichi" snarled Naruto he wanted nothing more to rip out her heart.
A tick mark popped in her head at the mentioned of her age "what did you just say, brat?" hissed Tsunade.
"You heard my brother you're nothing but shriveled pathetic old hag! Jiraiya was right about one thing you are an annoying fuckin' bitch who's drowning in her pity its fuckin' pathetic if you ask me! I mean look at you! You're suppose to be this great medic but all I see is some old hag! What fuckin disgrace I bet Shodaime and Nidaime must be rolling in their graves at how utterly pathetic you've become!" snarled Menma there was no way they were going to allow this washed up old woman bad mouth their father.
Tsunade rose to get feet and glares at them "the two of you have a lot of guys to say that to me! Let's take it outside!" said Tsunade Shizune looks at her with a shocked look the five of them head outside "I've been one of the Legendary Sannin I don't even have to be serious to fight these little boys one finger should be enough." said Tsunade the two just gave her a dark glare the two pulled out their weapons Tsunade stares at Menma's Raijin no Ken with a shocked look.
"She's underestimating us," thought Menma with his eyes narrowed she probably thought they were some cocky brats who didn't know anything.
"Good, let the bitch underestimate us! She has no idea what we can do!" thought Naruto the two shunshin at her surprising her with their speed the two unleashed an explosion and lightning slash at her, she side steps them avoiding the two slashes with her finger raised she flicked she flicks Menma on the head, he slams into his brother and both are blown back Menma groans in pain from the finger flick.
"Hey kids, I'll ask you one thing before you pass out why do you get so excited just by hearing the word Hokage?" asked Tsunade she watches as Naruto helps his brother up as Menma stood up his Forehead Protector comes undone and hits the ground.
"Not that it's any of your business but the village has grown weak under Sarutobi's time as Hokage. I will surpass that old fool as the next Hokage because it is my ambition to be the Hokage!" said Naruto Tsunade stares at the blonde with a shocked expression as she sees the image of her lover Dan and her younger brother Nawaki." said Naruto he grins as he notices how distracted she is "Menma let's go with the combo." thought the blonde picking up his tanto and puts it back in the sheath.
Menma picks up his Raijin no Ken and looks at his brother with a surprised look "wait! Seriously? Are you sure?" thought Menma he couldn't believe this woman was even related to the greatest shinobi had ever lived sure they died young but both men had accomplished a lot in their lifetime.
"Yeah, I know we were saving it for Orochimaru but we still haven't made her pay for insulting our father!" thought Naruto plus he really wanted to wipe the smug look on her face he didn't care that she'd bad mouth Sarutobi but he couldn't stand her insulting his father who have his life to make sure they had a fighting chance for what's to come.
"Yeah, okay! Let's do it, Dattebayo!" thought Menma the two pull out a prolonged kunai Jiraiya stares at the two with a shocked expression never believing he would ever see those kunai. Suddenly Naruto covers his whole body in an Bakuton chakra cloak and Menma covers his body in Ranton chakra cloak. Tsunade stares in shock as the ground begins to crack under pressure from the raw chakra the two are producing "Flying Thunder God Technique: Demon God of Calamity (Hirashin no Jutsu: Saiyaku no Majin)!" yelled the Uzumaki twins the two threw the kunai at her they then Hirashin grabbing onto each others kunai coating them with their Bakuton and Ranton.
"This technique?" thought a surprised Tsunade thinking fast she uses her finger to split open the ground causing the two to lose their balance the two brothers quickly throw their prolonged kunai on the side of street and watch as the combination of explosion and storm create a giant crater "That was definitely Yondaime technique but how did they even use it on such a level. No one should be able to use the Hirashin no Jutsu especially some brats." thought Tsunade.
Shizune quickly rushes over to them "are you okay?" asked the concerned Shizune the two nod their heads at the kunoichi Shizune mentally sighs T her master for the way she is acting but she couldn't really blame the two for getting angry.
Tsunade then turns and glares at Jiraiya "Jiraiya what the hell were you thinking teaching them a Jutsu like that!" exclaimed Tsunade these two brats were far too young to learn how to use such a powerful jutsu.
"Hey! I didn't teach them the Hirashin no Jutsu! I was teaching them the Rasengan! I don't know how they learned it!" exclaimed Jiraiya which was true he thought the only paper like techniques they knew were the Shunshin.
"Of course you did! Who else could've taught them that move!" exclaimed Tsunade she knew the only two who could use that technique was her granduncle Tobirama Senju and Minato Namikaze and the only person who could teach them was Jiraiya the man who trained Yondaime.
"He didn't teach us it, not that its any of your business but on the day of graduation he tried to trick is into stealing the scroll but when we had the scroll we'd learned three jutsus the first one was Kage No Bunshin we learned of the secret of the clones and Hirashin no Jutsu at first we couldn't make heads I tails but after studying fuinjutsu we've realise we're really good at seals. Which shouldn't be surprisingly since both of out parents were Fuinjutsu Master of only makes sense that we inherited their skill in seals." said Naruto.
Tsunade narrowed her eyes at the blonde Uzumaki "you said three jutsu! What was the other?" asked Tsunade.
The Uzumaki shot her a raised eyebrow "why the hell would we tell you? If we didn't tell our own team what makes you think we would tell you a complete stranger! It's a need to know basics and you simply don't need to know." said Naruto crossing his arms his brother nods in agreement.
Tsunade chuckles to herself "heh, some words best a man's word should never be taken back." said Tsunade.
"What?" asked a confused Naruto not even sure what's she's trying to say.
"I'll give You this necklace...Jiraiya said you and your brother are learning the Rasengan, I'll give you one week if you can Master that technique, I will acknowledge that you could become the Hokage and what about what's dream?" asked Tsunade looking at Menma.
Menma grins to himself "dream? Nah, it's my goal to become The God of Shinobi!" grinned the red-haired Uzumaki pointing to himself.
"Tsunade-sama! That is your precious-I don't want that useless piece of rock!" scoffed Naruto rolling his eyes.
"Don't say that Naruto...that is a very unique and precious ore that belonged to the Shodaime of you sold it, you could but three mountains." complained Jiraiya.
the two brothers gain a wide grin, Menma turns to Naruto "let's do it! We can totally learned the Rasengan in a week!" exclaimed Menma Naruto turns towards Tsunade and nods his head.
"But if you can't master that Jutsu in a week, all your money will belong to me!" said Tsunade.
"Like hell!" exclaimed Naruto he was confident he and Menma can Master the technique but they also knew Tsunade was a horrible gambler they know they are close to mastering the technique it's only a matter of time before they master of and then they could sell her stupid necklace.
"What are you doing? That necklace is-heh..it's not like they can accomplish it anyway. Let's go, Shizune!" said Tsunade walking away Shizune follows behind and looks down with a distraught look on her face.
"Tsunade, can we have a drink together? It's been awhile! Shizune, you Naruto, and Menma go find a hotel to stay for the night, okay?" says Jiraiya with a wide smile.
Shizune nods her head with a stressed out expression "okay," says Shizune Naruto and Menma looked at Shizune with curiosity wondering why she looks so distressed.
