It was a dark, foggy and gloomy night in The Demon Realm. All through the town that resided on the carcass of an ancient god called a Titan, it was the night of All Hallow's Eve or Halloween to more contemporary folk.

Around the houses, bars and small businesses, the residence which consisted of witches and demons, all dressed in elaborate costumes. Costumes that represented the fears of many folks. Werewolves, zombies, vampires and taxes.

And through the town, through a dark forest, down the pathway towards a house. But not just any house, The Owl House. Owned by Edalyn Clawthorne; The Owl Lady and her partner, Raine Whispers.

Through that door, the interior living room was lit with candles, cobwebs, spiders crawling all over and smoke all over the floor.

And coming through the door frame, was a woman dressed in a long black dress that showed a little cleavage and some thigh. Plus, she appeared to be wearing a huge black wig and heels. It was Eda dressed as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

"Welcome to The Owl House of Horror. I am your host, Eda Clawthorne, Mistress of the Dark." Eda said to the readers. "You're probably wondering why I'm dressed as some hot hostess from the 1980's. Well, my surrogate daughter, Luz is hosting an 80's themed Halloween party at the Blight's house and I thought, why don't I dress up as this hot hostess? In all honesty, I was going to dress up as her to please my partner since they like a little darkness. So, why not dress up as this hottie for Halloween?"

King, dressed as an Ewok, walked past. "Because it was the only one that made Raine blush."

"You're darn, straight son." Eda said. "I just hope this Halloween party won't be like the last two Halloweens. Or the one where something horrible happened, see The Owl House S3; E1."

King looked at his mother with confusion. "Who are you talking to?"

"The folks at home or work. Don't worry, it's an SFW." Eda winked at the readers.

"You're literally looking at a wall." King said.

"The fourth one." Eda said.

"Raine! How much apple blood did Eda have?!" King shouted.

Raine walked through the door, revealing that they were dressed as Freddie Mercury of Queen. "None, surprisingly. Unless, you snuck some in your coffee." They leered at their partner.

Eda shrugged her shoulders. "No, no, no, it was liquor."

"I see." Raine said. "Well whatever you're doing, can you save it for later?"

"Give me a few minutes tops." Eda said. "Eventually, this chapter will end and the next one will be focused on the stories."

"Stories?" King asked.

"I'm just a framing device." Eda explained.

"Framing what device?" Raine looked confused.

"Look, just skedaddle!" Eda exclaimed. "I got a story to set up!"

Raine and King stared at Eda with judgemental looks before shrugging their shoulders. "Alright." King said. "Yub nub!"

"Fine. But don't be long." Raine said before they and King walked out of the house.

Eda grinned at the readers. "So, two Halloweens ago, Gus played a prank on Luz. He tricked her by making her believe that it was November 1st and she slept through Halloween. And in turn, that somehow lead to her panic buying for Christmas. I would tell you what happened during that, but let's just say, it was a Nightmare Before Christmas." Eda made a drum riff. "But our story for this Halloween centres around what happened after that Beach Day. See The Owl House Beach Day Special for your hot hostess in a swimsuit or keep reading if you're one of those people that skips ahead. So, Luz discovered something about herself at that point. She unlocked a sort of power up for her Titan powers that she can call on command if she has some Titan's blood in her hand. When she de-powered herself from that power up, she throws up Titan's blood. Why you might ask? Well you might just find out what these campfire stories might have in store for ya. I present to you: The Campfire of Barbarity!" Lightning struck as it progresses to the next chapter.
