C22: The Snow Queen's Plan.
The oval-shaped black-framed Artificial Intelligence "A-I" programmed mirror, with the face of a two-horned gargoyle at the top, displayed Aiden on his bed in his room, writing out his list of things to get for Ebony to help get her Christmas spirit back, with Mickey lying at the foor of the bed. The footage playing on the mirror was recorded earlier by one of Snowmella's small manticore-cams she had sent out to follow Ebony when she left the orphanage. She had already seen all the rest of the footage, starting with Ebony's arrival at the log-cabin, thanks to the cam's x-ray vision, and was now veiwing the last of the footage at the former Book family home, which was of Aiden and Mickey, with the manticore-cam using x-ray vision to see through the curtains. It had temperarilly flown away when Aiden came to the window, but kept recording from a distance and saw him open the curtains and look out the casement. What he was looking at, however, was unknown, as the manticore-cam hadn't caught it on film.
"Yes, Get to work on that list, my child. We wouldn't want Grandma Ebony to be the only one without a gift on Christmas day, now would we?" Said the voice of Snowmella. "Hm. Such a strange boy. Such a strange little boy. So unlike his Grandmother. So nice...so sweet...and yet...so vulnerable." She said, standing in front of the mirror in her dark chamber-room, now wearing a big long white long sleeve dress that went down to the floor, with a white royal fur cape that went down to the floor and the end of it extended back a bit. She still had on her white gloves, she also wore white stockings and white high heel shoes. "Hmhmhm." She chuckled. "Aiguo!" She shouted as she turned to the Chinese nutcracker soldier.
"Yes, Mayor Queen!" Aiguo asked, suluting with his right hand.
"Head back to the fortress and inform the troops to keep an eye on this boy. I notice he's not like his Grandmama. He's very down to Earth, this child...with a humble mind and a caring heart towards others. He may be the key to our victory." Snowmella said.
"Yes, Mayor Queen!" Aiguo said before he put his hand down as he turned and ran out of the chamber-room through the open door.
Snowmella turned back to the mirror. "Yes. Ebony's Grandson's determination with reviving her Christmas spirit might be just the answer we need to winning this war." A smile crept onto her face as she began to form a plan.
