(The next day).
The 3 heroes in training found themselves standing at the top of a tall hill that overlooked a large village below in the wide valley. And at the far end of the town, up at the top of a tall mountain was a large Chinese temple palace.
"Looks like we found our destination." Said Bakugo.
"Yes we have." Said Izuku. "We should put our cloaks and hats back on before we go to the village." Says Todoroki.
Bakugo and Izuku nod in agreement. They put on their straw hats and clothes, trying to blend in with the villagers.
As they make their way down the hill, they pass by a few villagers who give them curious looks. The three heroes in training try to act casual, not wanting to draw too much attention to themselves.
"We need to figure out how we're gonna get back home." He replied. "And if we can't do that today, we should at least try to find a place to stay." He then adjusted his kasa hat as he continued to walk down the hill with Bakugo and Todoroki beside him. Upon entering the village, the heroes in training find themselves walking the narrow streets in town, taking in the sights, spending several hours trying to figure out where they were. However, there really wasn't much to go off of.
The village was lively and bustling, with people going about their daily lives. There were shops and stalls selling all kinds of goods, from food to clothing to weapons. The heroes in training walked past them.
The village seemed peaceful and tranquil. As they walked, they passed by several residents of the village, most of whom were geese, bunnies, pigs, etc. Some nearly reached their height and others didn't.
They would have stopped to ask somebody, but they were still hesitant to reveal themselves to the public. After all it's obvious humans aren't a common sight in this world since animals are the dominant species in this world and humans don't exist here.
As they were walking, they stop as Izuku turned to bakugo and todoroki.
"Okay guys here's the plan, we'll look around and see what we see about this place and meet back here." He tells them.
Bakugo and Todoroki nod in agreement. "Sounds like a plan." Bakugo said, before walking off in one direction. Todoroki went in the opposite direction, leaving Izuku to explore on his own.
(A hour later).
After an hour of exploring, the heroes in training met back at the spot where they had separated. Izuku was the first to arrive, and he looked around for Bakugo and Todoroki.
"So what did you guys find?" Asked the half hot half cold boy.
Bakugo looked slightly annoyed. "Nothing useful. Just a bunch of spice shops and dumpling stands."
"I saw some weapon shops." Izuku says.
Todoroki then says. "I saw a noodle shop."
"So this means we got nothing special out of looking around." Says the explosive boy sounding a bit irritated.
Izuku, who had been observing all the architecture and residents of the village with keen eyes then says. "Well, by the looks of this place, these buildings look like they're roughly from ancient China. I'm thinking maybe roughly from the Yuan, Ming, or even the Shang dynasties."
"You think we've traveled back in time in this world?" Bakugo asked.
Izuku then started thinking. "I don't think so. After seeing the residents at the inn, as well as the villagers here, and the fact that everyone here seems to be speaking perfect english with modern day dialect, I'd say we were in a different China in general in this world."
"So we are in China in its present day only it's still stuck in it's olden days?" Questioned Todoroki. Izuku nodded. "That's what it seems like. The question is, how did we end up here?"
Before their conversation could continue, they were interrupted by the sounds of crashing wood and screaming. "Run! Bandits!" A small pig girl screamed as she ran.
The three heroes in training looked at each other, before quickly ran to where the commotion was coming from. "Bandits?!" Bakugo said with a hint of excitement and a smirk.
Izuku then says as they ran. "We need to help those villagers! Let's go!"
As they got closer, the disguised heroes and training found themselves hearing the sounds of yelling and flesh hitting flesh, causing them to slow down as they came over the next roof.
The heroes in training peeked over the roof, trying to see what was going on below. Looking down on the streets was a group of warthog bandits, all of them big and bulky and carrying swords, and all of them were being fought off by a group of five warriors.
One was a female tiger, another a monkey, another one a female viper, a crane, and weirdly enough a mantis. And all five of them were fighting off the bandits, their movements swift and hard hitting.
The heroes in training watched in awe as the five warriors fought the bandits. They were all skilled fighters, each one of them taking down several bandits at a time with their unique fighting styles.
The tiger moved with a dancing grace that almost rivals Ashido as she maneuvered out of the way of a sword that was aimed at her head. Then, with amazing strength, she shattered the blade like glass with a single punch before kicking the bandit away.
The monkey screeched as he wrapped his tail around another thug's arms, pinning them before punching and kicking the warthog in the face. He then bounded over to two more bandits, easily taking them out with wild and unpredictable movements.
The viper wrapped her tail around the arm of one bandit and used it to make him punch himself like she was a crazy puppeteer. Using her tail like a whip, she then smacked another bandit in the snout before wrapping her tail around him and throwing him away.
The crane ducked under the swing of another bandit, using his long lanky legs to maneuver behind him and using his wing to perform a chop to the back of the warthog's neck. He then flew into the air, grabbing two bandits with his feet before throwing them into a wall.
Finally the Mantis grabbed two bandits with his pincers and spun them around him like they were nothing even though they were both a hundred times his size.
"Those guys are really good." Izuku says as he and the other's watched in amazement. These five warriors were easily taking down dozens of bandits without so much as breaking a sweat.
Just then, out of the corner of his eyes, Bakugo noticed another group of bandits moving south of them. "Look. There's more of those guys!" Said Bakugo.
Izuku and Todoroki also saw the bandits as well. "Looks like these guys are just a diversion." The green hair boy observed, as he looked back to the ones being handled by the five warriors. "We've got to stop them."
"You sure we shouldn't try to help those guys?" Todoroki asked, gesturing to the five warriors who were still fighting off tons of bandits easily.
"They look like they got it covered." Bakugo said with a light shrug.
With that, they hopped off the roof to the ground and they followed the bandits all the way to the heart of the town.
(With the bandits).
The bandits were now terrorizing the villagers, demanding money and food. The villagers looked scared and helpless as they tried to protect themselves and their homes from the bandits.
A mother Pig cuddled her child close to her as one of the bandits approached her, knife in hand. "It'll be alright, my child." She attempted to soothe her child.
The bandit laughed menacingly as he raised his knife, ready to strike the mother and child. When suddenly a quick blur of green lightning, kicked him in the face, knocking him into a stack of barrels.
"Mommy, look!" The little pig exclaimed.
The mother pig and several fleeing villagers looked in honest surprise to see 3 figures wearing straw ponchos and kasa hats facing down the bandits. The bandits looked surprised and confused, not expecting anyone to interfere.
"Leave these villagers alone." Said Izuku with a glare. "Unless you fuck head's want a ass beating." Bakugo threatened with a smirk.
The bandits all laughed, amused by the threats from the three strangers. "And who are you supposed to be?" One of the bandits sneered.
"Don't know, don't care." The alligator looking bandit said. "They're standing in our way. So how about we teach them a lesson boys!"
The other bandits all grinned, cracking their knuckles and drawing their weapons. They began to approach the three heroes in training.
"They aren't backing down." Todoroki says to bakugo and izuku.
Bakugo smirked, cracking his knuckles as well. "Looks like we're gonna have to teach them a lesson ourselves."
"Then let's do this." Said Izuku as he activated 5% of one for all aspiring lightning crackled around him, as Bakugo set off mini explosions in the palm of his hand, while frost formed on the ground and Todoroki's right leg as he engulfed his head left hand and fire. The bandits were a bit taken aback by the three's display but charged at the three heroes in training anyway, weapons drawn and ready for a fight.
The bandits charged at the heroes in training, swinging their weapons wildly and trying to take them down. But the heroes were more than ready for them. Izuku quickly dodged and weaved through the bandits' attacks, delivering swift and powerful punches and kicks that sent them flying.
Bakugo dodged a couple of swings from two Bandits and then raised both his hands towards the two Bandits as he set off some explosions sending them back a bit while dodging a punch from a bandit before kicking him away, and then he send himself up into the air only to send himself crashing back down towards the ground with an his explosions as he then set off a explosion at a group of four Bandits.
The bandits were sent flying in different directions, some knocked unconscious while others were injured but still standing.
Todoroki had dodged a couple of knife swings and slashes, as he then stopped his rightful on the ground sending ice towards three Bandits freezing their feet to the ground as he then sent a large Fireball in their Direction causing them to be set flying.
He then moved out of the way of a swordslash and place his right hand on the sword rolling Bandit's head as he instantly froze his head and kicked him in the stomach as he landed on his back as his frozen head hit the ground shattering the ice.
The remaining bandits looked on in shock and fear, realizing they were outmatched by the three heroes in training. Some tried to run away, but Bakugo quickly caught up to them and knocked them down with his explosions, and Todoroki used his ice to freeze their feet to the ground.
"What the heck is going on?!" One of the bandits cried. "I thought this would be an easier job once the Furious Five were distracted!"
Izuku approached the bandit who had spoken, a stern look on his face. "You underestimated us."
Before the two bandits could respond, Izuku used one for all at 8% and jumped into the air, kicking both of them in the face and knocking them down out cold. Izuku, Bakugo and Todoroki then turned to the final bandit who was holding a sword and a knife.
"Really?" Bakugo asked with a raised eyebrow.
The bandit started to look scared but tried to put on a brave face, holding his sword and knife in a defensive stance. "I..I'm not going down without a fight!"
"All your buddies are down for the count after getting their asses kicked." Bakugo told him. "You're the only one left. So why don't you make it easy on yourself and surrender that or still fight and I'll blow your ass up so bad that they will be piecing you back together for weeks?"
The bandit hesitated for a moment, looking around at his fallen comrades. He knew he was outnumbered and outmatched, but his pride wouldn't let him give up so easily.
"Never! I'll never surrender." He said as he then charges towards Bakugo.
Bakugo also charged towards the bandit and the bandit swung his knife at him hoping to hit him, instead Bakugo blocked the attack with his grenade gauntlet as he then sent a explosion to the face of the bandit, disorienting him. Bakugou had used this explosion to change his trajectory, moving behind the bandit and blasting him again from behind.
The bandit stumbled forward, his vision blurry from the explosions. He tried to regain his balance, but it was too late. He fell to the ground, unconscious.
And with that, all the bandits were defeated.
The villagers who had been watching the fight in awe and fear now looked on in relief and gratitude. The mother pig approached the three heroes in training, tears in her eyes.
"Thank you... thank you so much for saving us."
"It was nothing ma'am." Izuku says with a smile.
The disguised heroes in training then heard would sound like footsteps coming their way from afar as they turned to see the tiger, monkey, viper, crane, and mantis from before coming down the street towards them.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about them." Todoroki admitted. "We need to leave now." Said Izuku.
Bakugo looked around, searching for a way out. He then noticed a nearby alleyway. "There's an alleyway over there. We can make a quick escape through there."
"But wouldn't they just follow us?" Questioned Todoroki, then Izuku got an Idea. "I have a idea, Kacchan, if make some big explosions you can create a smoke cloud from your explosions, it will prevent them from knowing where we went."
Bakugo grinned, liking the idea. "Heh, good thinking nerd. Let's do it."
Bakugo started to create a series of explosions, causing a thick smoke cloud to form as they ran into the alleyway.
When Tigress realized that the bandits they were fighting were merely a diversion, she had initially cursed herself as she and the other members of the Five went to find the other bandits.
However, all of them were surprised upon arriving when they saw that all of the bandits had been defeated by 3 mysterious strangers, all 3 of them were wearing straw ponchos and strange hats that obscured their features.
Before any of them could question what was going on, however, one of the figures somehow create a series of explosions from his hands, causing a thick smoke cloud to form. And when the smoke faded, they were gone, not even a trace.
The five looked around, trying to find any sign of the three strangers. But they were nowhere to be seen.
"Where did they go?" Crane asked, bewildered.
"Beats me." Says manris sounding confused as well. So who were those guys anyway?" Viper ask.
Tigress lowered her head as she gazed at the unconscious bandits, some head bruises While others had Scorch marks on them While others had some ice on them . "I don't know." She replied. "But I don't think this will be the last time we'll see them."
"Well, they sure made quick work of these guys." Monkey remarked.
Mantis nodded in agreement. "They must be pretty strong to take down all of these bandits so easily."
"And look at the bandits, some are very bruised more than others and some of them look like they were exploded while the others have some Scorch marks or ice covering them, they must have powers and abilities that we don't know of." Said Viper.
"We might actually have some competition." Crane joked.
Tigress eyes narrowed, her mind racing with possibilities. She had never encountered anyone who could take down bandits with such ease. It made her both intrigued and wary.
"We'll have to keep an eye out for them." She said firmly. "We don't know what their intentions are, but we can't let our guard down."
As the Furious Five tie up the bandits, Izuku Bakugo and Todoroki we're watching from the alleyway they disappeared into.
Bakugo watched as the Furious Five tied up the bandits. "Looks like they're taking care of those idiots."
"Should we be worried about them." Todoroki says gesturing to the Furious Five.
Izuku shook his head. "I don't think so, they seem to be the protectors of this Village."
Izuku thought for a moment, trying to come up with a plan. "We need to figure out how we got here, but for now we should keep a low profile, even though we got to worry about those five, we still need to not try to draw attention to ourselves."
"What you should we do if we went into those five again?" Questioned the half hot half cold boy.
Izuku sighed, knowing that encountering the Furious Five again was a possibility. "If we run into them again, we should try to avoid confrontation if possible. We don't want to risk getting into a fight with them."
And with that they go down the alleyway.
