Days later
"You know we can talk about this." Haley said.
Peyton looked to her. Across the table. As the two met for brunch.
Peyton stopped gazing over the menu.
"Lucas is my best friend. And Brooke is one of my closest friends buy so are you."
"This is a safe non judging place." Haley insisted.
Peyton sighed deeply. Putting down the menu.
"I love him. I thought being apart and not keeping in direct contact would help but it hasn't."
"If i knew that was only proposal i would get from him."
"I would of said yes and been engaged."
"What am i supposed to do? Pretend like i'm happy and in support of this? When my heart is shattering every time i see them together or think about this wedding."
"Haley tell me what to do please." Peyton confessed. With tears welling up in her eyes.
Haley soon got up from her seat and engulfed Peyton into a hug.

Awhile Later
Clothes over Bros
After working for hours. Brooke was ready to leave for the day and meet Lucas for dinner.
She was just about to close up for the night when the front door to her store opened and shut.
"Rach. What is it?" Brooke questioned.
"I'm pregnant." Rachel announced.
"Wow! This is amazing!" Brooke said engulfing her into a hug.
"You know i'm not a kid person. My parents made it a point to never be present my whole life."
"I can't do this." Rachel replied.
"Let's take this one step at a time. Does Mouth know yet?" She asked.
"He's going to home soon. I can't believe this happened."
"We are always careful." Rachel replied.
"Sometimes these things happen anyway."
"Mouth loves you. And you love him."
"Telling him is an important part he will not leave you alone in this. Neither will I." Brooke insisted.
"I should really go. Thanks for listening." Rachel replied.
