Back in Cape Town, reports are coming in that the Zulu have not only rejected the deal offered by Rouge but, they also began genociding the Bohrs. Everyone is scrambling to react to this development. Mercs are already taking it upon themselves to arm Bohrs to fight back.
"Tell London we need reinforcements and I don't care what you have to do, I want this city back under control before help arrives!" Rouge yelled over the sound of gunfire.
"Yes Mum." Wayland replied before fallowing through with the order.
As the fighting continued Rouge lead her forces, gunning down anyone who looked like a threat or was shooting at her forces. After a few hours of door kicking however she eventually found a man, a Zulu in a general uniform. Man shot himself as soon as she came in but there was enough information in the room to figure out what was going on.
"Fuck, I should have known." Rouge said.
"What?" Asked one of the Mercs with her.
"London didn't give us all of the information on this shit hole and now we have a mess to clean up."
"Uh what kind of mess boss?" Another Merc asks.
"South Africa has three capitals, not one. We only took the port. The other two are still fighting against us."
However before she can concern herself with it any further, Wayland contacted her. "Mum, reinforcements have arrived, the officer commanding them wishes to speak with you."
"On my way." She replied.
Rouge quickly took a bike back to her base of operations to meet with the officer. He was an older man of high rank, who was involved with the Junta that ran the UK for many years. "I am Lt. General, Edwin Longshanks. You must be the Merc that Her Majesty made governor of the South African colony."
"I am, and thank you for coming so soon." Rouge replied.
"This was all part of the plan. While the plan was to set up a Mercenary nation down here, we knew that you would struggle to subdue the Zulu population on your own. However certain things needed to be arranged in order to make what we have planned justified both on a international level and with the USA."
"What do you mean by that?"
"The Zulu need to be broken and culled. It's the only way for us to be able to reestablish ourselves down here. We need to show these barbarians that we are here to bring them the torch of civilization. Whether they like it or not. It was only a matter of time before they launched a genocide on the Bohr but now that they have, we have no choice but to 'step in'."
"Fine, but my fee is being tripled for this."
"I would expect nothing less, however you're going to have to take that up with the Queen. I don't handle such things."
"Ugh."
